Malware Behavior Analysis based on Mobile Virtualization

As recent smartphone is used around the world, all of the subscribers of the mobile communication is up to 47.7% about 24 million people. Smartphone has a vulnerability to security, and security-related incidents are increased in damage with the smartphone. However, precautions have been made, rather than analysis of the infection of most of the damage occurs after the damaged except for the case of the expert by way of conventional post-countermeasure. In this paper, we implement a mobile-based malware analysis systems apply a virtualization technology. It is designed to analyze the behavior through it. Virtualization is a technique that provides a logical resources to the guest by abstracting the physical characteristics of computing resources. The virtualization technology can improve the efficiency of resources by integrating with cloud computing services to servers, networks, storage, and computing resources to provide a flexible. In addition, we propose a system that can be prepared in advance to buy a security from a user perspective.
Analysis of Users' Gestures by Application in Smartphone Touch Interfaces

Touch interface is widely used in a smartphone instead of a keyboard or a keypad interface that has been adopted in a PC or a featurephone, respectively. Touch interface can recognize a variety of gestures that clearly represent the distinct features of each application's input. This paper analyzes users' gesture of each application captured by the touch interface of a smartphone. Specifically, we extract touch input traces from various application categories such as game, web browser, youtube, image and e-book viewer, video player, camera, and map applications, and then analyzed them. Through this analysis, we observed a certain unique characteristics of each application's touch input, and this can be utilized in various useful areas such as identification of an application user, prevention of running an application by an illegal user, or design of a new interface convenient to a specific user.
A Study on eBook DRM interoperability based on IDPF Readium SDK

In order to secure the compatibility of eBook viewers based on EPUB 3.0, IDPF launched an open project of Readium in February 2012, which supports the standard platform for eBook viewers and the related SDK that can be implemented on different OSs. The current EPUB standard, however, does not provide DRM standards to protect eBook copyrights. Therefore, the compatibility of Readium SDK cannot be secured. Even though the Readium project has tried to design a standard reference software in order to apply DRM independently of EPUB standards, it still does not definitely solve compatibility problems of plural DRMs. This paper suggests a compatibility model based on Readium SDK and ContentMudule technology, in which eBook viewers can work together with plural DRM technology.

Security of Image Information using Steganography and QR Code in IoT

The security of the image information is very important in many areas of the IoT(Internet of Things), and study a number of ways to display the security (copyright, etc.). In this paper, information of image that is used by the IoT is converted to a DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) and QC(Quantization Coefficient). And watermark (message) is to create a new encoded message(WMQR) through a QR Code. QC and WMQR applies LSB steganography techniques, can get the security (copyright, etc.) of image information. LSB steganographic techniques may be inserted according to a message (Watermark) to determine the location (Secret Key). The encoded image is sent to the recipient via the Internet. The reverse process can be obtained image and a QR code, a watermark (Message). A method for extracting a watermark from the security of the image information is coded using only the image and Secret Key, through the DCT and quantization process, so obtained by separating the watermark (Message) for the image. In this paper, we were able to improve the security of the method of image information, the image quality of the image by the simulations (PSNR), in turn, benefits were also normalized correlation (NC) and security.
A Study on Recognization for Quality Importance of Cloud Services

Although there are usual security threats caused by the characteristics of cloud services, more public institutions plan to introduce the cloud services rapidly, as the increase of recognition for its advantage. The previous studies have focused on the security threats and the quality as a hindrance of activation of cloud services. Those also have stressed the importance of the quality in the cloud user side. But there was no consideration about which quality factors impact on the satisfaction of users. Therefore, this study analyzed the importances of quality in specific five major factors. The results also presented that the SLA guarantee is more important than the security performance. This research will contribute to cloud services providers in Korea, by aiding the establishment of effective quality strategies.

In this paper, we proposed not specturm sensing but also save energy without consume energy of secondary network that spectrum sensing of cognitive applied energy harvesting scheme. Algorithms of sensing and harvesting is determine active or idle of primary network, compares the amount of energy that is harvested by energy harvesting scheme with the threshold. If secondary network to send a message and primary network is active, by changing frequency to use the spectrum. Further, if secondary network have no message, continues energy harvest. Therefore, spectrum sensing applied energy harvesting scheme, energy of secondary network is remove waste and charge energy, efficiency and utilization of cognitive network can be increase.

In this paper, we proposed scheme that obtain diversity gain in the cooperative communication to mitigate, applied to the effects of fading in the vehicle communication. Relay used bus that can available in the city environment. In addition, we applied the double rayleigh fading environment so that can applied in real-environments. Therefore, proposed scheme through this paper applied to vehicle communication, user can acquire a high quality service and the operation efficiency of the network is improved. Finally, performance of the proposed protocol is analyzed in terms of bit error rate.
Development of 60 GHz Band Transceiver System for Multimedia Contents Transmission

There are increasing demands for the transmission of high speed and non-compressed video informations. The video data usually compressed before transmission for reducing the data. And the received data uncompressed at a receiver, consequently the processing delay is unavoided. In this paper, we implement a 60 GHz band wireless transmission system for real time multimedia contents transmission, and successfully transmit the full HD class uncompressed video information at 4 Gbps with 20 m apart. Hence the non-compressed video data from a remote camera or a smart phone can be transmitted and displayed in a large screen in real time via the developed transceiver system.
A Study on TE Scattering by a Conductive Strip Grating Over Grounded Two Dielectric Layers

In this paper, the solutions of TE (transverse electric) scattering problems by a conductive strip grating over grounded two dielectric layers are analyzed by applying the PMM (point matching method) known as a numerical method of electromagnetic fileld. The boundary conditions are applied to obtain the unknown field coefficients, the scattered electromagnetic fields are expanded in a series of Floquet mode functions, and the conductive boundary condition apply to analysis of conducting strip. The most normalized reflected powers of the sharp variations in minimum values are scattered in direction of the other angles except incident angle. The numerical results for normalized reflected power are analyzed by according as the width and spacing of conductive strip, the relative permittivity and thickness of the two dielectric layers, and incident angles. The numerical results of present numericl analysis are shown in good agreement compared to those of the existing papers using FGMM (fourier galerkin moment method).

To resolve inefficient content delivery mechanism in conventional internet-based networks, Content-Centric Networks (CCN) has been proposed for wired and wireless networks. One of issues in wireless CCN-based networks is overhead to achieve reliability on content delivery because CCN uses end-to-end two-way handshake with Interest/content packets. In this paper, a novel protocol to reduce overhead and achieve reliability is proposed. The protocol allows Interest packet to request multiple data packets and multiple data packets to be sent in a row without a Interest packets. The protocol is evaluated through the simulations and the performance improvement is proved.

This paper presents our performance evaluation after the way of minimizing waiting times between channel switching for eMBMS(evolved Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Services) technique in LTE-Advanced systems. Existing composition of MBMS using IGMP(Internet Group Management Protocol) transfers the data with Multicast from BM-SC(Broadcast Multicast Service Center) to eNB(evolevd Node B) and with Broadcast from eNB to UE(User Equipment). Therefore, in case of channel switching, IGMP Join report should be transferred to BM-SC and then wait user's contents to be retransferred from eNB. To achieve this, Subscriber Channel technique of priorities is used for minimizing waiting times between channel switching as UE broadcasts favorite channels in advance.
Mobility Management Scheme based on User Mobility QoS and Security-Effective Network in Heterogeneous Mobile Networks

To support the efficient mobility MIPv6v, FMIPv6, HMIPv6 and host-based mobility management protocols have been developed. AAAC (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting and Charging) system is applied in this paper analyzed the the existing IPv6 PMIPv6, FPMIPv6 network security effective and IPv6 MMP (Mobile Management Protocol) Features and performance analysis is performed. And IPv6 MMP seamless transfer performance in terms of packet loss probability, will be analyzed. That can be efficiently used as a method for the integration of QoS and mobility so that you can manage and control the resources presented QoSB usage. Results of evaluation results showed a better overall fast handover structure of mobility management techniques. PMIPv6 and FPMIPv6 in many respects the most efficient structure that can be specifically, a fast handover of the structure of the network-based mobility management scheme showed the best results.
A Performance Evaluation of RMMA Adaptive Equalization Algorithm in 16-QAM Signal

This paper proposes the RMMA (Region based Multiple Modulus Algorithm) algorithm that is possible to improving the performance of MMA adaptive equalization algorithm in order to the reduction of intersymbol interference occurs at the communication channel. In RMMA algorithm, the output constellation of equalizer are divided by 4 different regions in order to get the error signal for adapting the channel characteristic, and the small error signal is obtained by mapping each region to 4-QAM signal. The conversion effect of constant modulus from nonconstant modulus signal was obtained. In this paper, the adaptive equalization performance of proposed RMMA were evaluated comared to the present MMA. As a result of computer simulation, the convergence speed and residual quantity were improved in residual isi and MD. Especially the superiorities of robustness was confirm in SER performance compared to present MMA.
A Performance Evaluation of Constellation Matching-MMA Adaptive Equalization Algorithm in QAM System

This paper relates with the eualization performance of Constellation Matching-MMA (CM-MMA) in order to the consists of optimum receiver for the minimization of intersymbol interference and additive noise effects that is occurs in the nonlinear communication channel. The error signal were obtained that combines the Constellation Matching technique that inserts the zero point between the signal point of equalizer for improving the residual isi and convergence speed compared to the currently used MMA algorithm. In the initial state of adaptive equalization, it depends on the MMA characteristics mainly. And in the steady state, it depends on the CM characteristics mainly. In order to analyzing the equalization performance, the output signal constellation, residual isi, maximum distortion, MSE and SER were applied, then it were compared with the present MMA algorithm. As a result of computer simulation, the CM-MMA has more better performance in the every performance index, and it was also confirmed that the constellation matching effect can be obtained in the greater than 20dB signal to noise ratio.
Test Method of Communication Reliability based on HPGP between PEV and EVSE

Smart Grid is a next-generation intelligent grid to optimize energy efficiency by integrating information and communication technologies to the existing power grid as a two-way exchange of information. HPGP communication standard for smart grid implementation has been developed for the emerging smart energy, home automation, electric vehicle communications applications. HPGP communication standard has the advantage of reducing cost and power consumption. Also, it can be interoperated with the previous HPAV communication standard. For the introduction of a new communication standard, the analysis of the reliability and interoperability verification is required. In this paper, we present sniffer test method as reliability test method about power line communication between PEV(Plug-in Electric Vehicle) and EVSE(Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment). Power line communication between PEV and EVSE is one of the most important Smart Gird applications. Also, we analyzed sniffer test results about power line communication based on HPGP between PEV and EVSE by using QCA7000 device, AVitar and Tool kit.

In this paper, we propose S/W framework for health care robot based on OSGI middleware. Most healthcare robot developed independently. Therefore most module duplicately developed. However It's not efficient. In this paper we propose S/W framework for healthcare robot that can provide common module for health care robot and can apply heterogeneous robot. By using this S/W framework, we can enhance reusability of s/w module and can provide flexible and efficient development environment.

This study, in the operation of street lamp, suggests appropriate algorithm to extend the number of days of street lamp operation as much as possible if the number of sunless days continues and experimentally determines the value of Weather Factor necessary for this algorithm. This is conducted by reducing electricity consumption and securing battery remains through the use of standby power mode, in which maximum amount of light is maintained if there is a pedestrian, and constant brightness is maintained without utilizing maximum electric power if no pedestrians exist, with the application of WFactor value created by the algorithm considering weather forecast and amount of sunlight.
Reducing Method of Energy Consumption of Phase Change Memory using Narrow-Value Data

During the past 30 years, DRAM has been used for the reasons of economic efficiency of the production. Recently, PRAM has been emerged to overcome the shortcomings of DRAM. In this paper, we propose a technique that can reduce energy consumption by use of a narrow values to the write operation of PRAM. For this purpose, we describe the data compression method using a narrow value and the architecture of PRAM, We also experiment under the Simplescalar 3.0e simulator and SPEC CPU2000 benchmark environments. According to the experiments, the data hit rate of PRAM was increased by 39.4% to 67.7% and energy consumption was reduced by 9.2%. In order to use the proposed technique, it requires 3.12% of space overhead per word, and some additional hardware modules.
Visualized Determination for Installation Location of Monitoring Devices using CPTED

Needs about safety of residents are important in urbanized society, elderly and small-size family. People are looking for safety information system and device of CPTED. That is, Needs and Installations of CCTV increased steadily. But, scientific analysis about validity, systematic plan and location of security CCTV is nonexistent. It is simply put these devised in more demanded areas. It has limits to look for safety of residents by increasing density of CCTVs. One of the characteristics of crime is clustering and stong interconnectivity. So, exploratory spatial data of crime is geo-coded using 2 years data and carried out cluster analysis and space statistical analysis through GIS space analysis by dividing 18 variables into social economy, urban space, crime prevention facility and crime occurrence index. The result of analysis shows cluster of 5 major crimes, theft, violence and sexual violence by Nearest Neighbor distance analysis and Ripley's K function. It also shows strong crime interconnectivity through criminal correlation analysis. In case of finding criminal cluster, you can find criminal hotspot. So, in this study I found concept of hotspot and considered technique about selection of hotspot. And then, selected hotspot about 5 major crimes, theft, violence and sexual violence through Nearest Neighbor Hierarchical Spatial Clustering.

As the proliferation of smart phone, almost every user has one's own smart phone, and the user could get the global position and location based services using GPS system outdoors. But indoor positioning system using GPS does not work, and it could not detect global position using TDOA local positioning system. In this paper, a new indoor global positioning system for smart phone employing GPS receiver and electronic compass device is proposed with the TDOA local positioning system using acoustic signal, and the performance and the experimental result are described.
A Low Power Lifelog Management Scheme Based on User Movement Behaviors in Wireless Networks

With the ever-improving performance of smartphone cameras and the universal dissemination of cloud services, users can now record and store the events in their daily lives more easily and conveniently. The advent of lifelogging technology has been changing the uses as well as the paradigm of internet services, and emphasizing the importance of services being personalization. As the amount of lifelog data becomes vast, it requires an efficient way to manage and store such vast information. In this paper, we propose an low power lifelog management scheme based on user movement behaviors in wireless networks. In order to reduce the power consumption of a smartphone, in our proposal, frequency of data collection and transfer can be dynamically adjusted based on a user's movement pattern. The analytical results show that our approach achieves better performance than that of the existing lifelog management scheme.
Implementation of non-Wearable Air-Finger Mouse by Infrared Diffused Illumination

Extraction of Finger-end points is one of the most process for user multi-commands in the Hand-Gesture interface technology. However, most of previous works use the geometric and morphological method for extracting a finger-end points. Therefore, this paper proposes the method of user finger-end points extraction that is motivated a ultrared diffused illumination, which is used for the user commands in the multi-touch display device. Proposed air-mouse is worked by the quantity state and moving direction of extracted finger-end points. Also, our system includes a basic mouse event, as well as the continuous command function for expending a user multi-gesture. In order to evaluate the performance of the our proposed method, after applying to the web browser application as a command device. As a result, the proposed method showed the average 90% success-rate for the various user-commands.

The utilization possibility of the GPS / GLONASS receiving a small active antenna could be confirmed according to compare and analyze the simulation and measurement data.

In this study, an LED emotional lighting algorithm optimized to the situation was implemented using fuzzy inference for users in exercise and resting situations in indoor environment. The fuzzy theory was used instead of the conventional simple color temperature control in order to control the colors and color temperatures of LED light sources in line with user environment under complex conditions. An LED emotional lighting system based on fuzzy theory was designed through a combination of colors according to the color and temperature of emotional language based on the user behavior. As a result, the color and color temperature can give a good effect on user's emotions for an emotional lighting that is effective for resting and exercise.

In this study, the heat radiation performance of COB LED according to the structure of thermoelectric device were compared. Thermoelectric device of the sheet copper structure and ceramic structure were used for bonding with the heating part of the COB LED. The temperature distribution in the bonding part of the thermoelectric device of COB LED was measured with a contact-type thermometer. Design of a Simultaneously Operable Tri-band Antenna for SATCOM

As satellite communications services are showing gradual growth, so are the needs for dual or tri-band antennas greater than performance of conventional single-band antennas. In this paper, a simultaneously operable tri-band antenna for SATCOM(Satellite Communications) is proposed. It is different from conventional methods of implementing tri-band through replaceable horns, while it is designed with a tri-band feed assembly composed of corrugated and dielectric horns and reflectors of gregorian type to transmit and receive tri-band of X, Ku and Ka band simultaneously. And simulated and measured values were compared and analyzed for characteristics of the proposed antenna. In the results, radiation patterns of the proposed tri-band antenna were close to the simulated ones and also met specifications.
Wireless Power Transmission Technology for Implantable Telemetry Device based on Multiple Transmit Coils

The implanted telemetry system provides the monitoring of species while they move within their cages. Species monitored include mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, pigs, primates, sheep, horses, cattle, and others. A miniature transmitter implanted in each animal measures one or more parameters. Parameters measured include arterial pressure, intra-pleural pressure, left ventricular pressure, intra-ocular pressure, bladder pressure, ECG, EMG, EEG, EOG, temperature, activity, and other parameters and transmits the data via radio frequency signals to a nearby receiver. Every conventional dedicated transmitter contains one or more sensors, cpu and battery. Due to the expected life of battery, the measuring time is limited. To overcome these problems, electromagnetic inductive coupling based wireless power transmission technology using multiple transmit coils were proposed. Each coil having different active area are driven by the coil driver. In this research, parallel resonance based coil driver was proposed. In addition, the device to detect where the receiver is positioned was proposed. From the experiments we show how to determine the driving condition of coil driver.

The polarization characteristics of nano-scale grating-assisted polarization-insensitive coupler (GA-PIC) consisted of double sandwiched rib-type layers are evaluated in detail by using modal transmission-line theory (MTLT) based on equivalent network. To obtain the polarization-insensitive condition of GA-PIC, the coupling lengths as a function of the refractive index and thickness of sandwiched rib-type layer as well as the grating thickness and period are analyzed for quasi-TE and quasi-TM modes. The numerical results show that the GA-PIC with hundreds of nanometer scale is realized by properly choosing structural and material parameters of double sandwiched layers and grating.

This study is to look into importance and achievement on awareness of creative musical audiences, who use SNS, by the use of Importance Performance Analysis(IPA), and to find ways to improve the recognition of creative musical by performance enterprise. In other words, the study is to discover choice attributes, that need to be urgently improved, which importance is rated high but which achievement is rated low. As a result, it is learned that composition of content(memorable dialogue), admission fee(ticket prices, charges of using additional facilities), theater(parking), composition of stage(acoustics of the stage), staff services(ticket box staff, usher, and etc. are should be properly controlled by staff expertise) need to be consistently improved. In addition, it is learned for SNS non-user group that choice items such as creative musical choice attribute(admission fee), composition of stage(acoustics of the stage), production(overall music from a musical), admission fee(ticket prices, charges of using additional facilities), and theater(parking) need to be improved.

We can build regular relationships with customers by integrating SNS (Social Networking Service) and internet shopping mall functions. For example of direct dealing of agricultural products, consumers can find news of regular sellers (seeding, farming, harvesting and new products) in the timeline at their SNS home. Then, they can purchase the necessary products by one click motion. The sellers provide news and discount information for building regular customers. Besides these SNS personal connection building, our system provides shopping mall functions to consumer's SNS home pages with auto classified catalog of products. Then, consumes easily find necessary products and these purchase may lead to regular relationships with sellers. Consumers may redistribute recommendations and reviews and it enables direct communications between consumers who are unknown to each other.

this is the study of the human body antenna device which can detect the powder in a 360-degree on(under) the ground whether it is metal or nonmetal using superhigh frequency RF beam equipped with the body. and it is able to transmit the data of the detection of the powder, battle combats can share that among them. with its flexible roof radial antenna structure, it emits the superhigh frequency RF beam to the front and flank multiply, preprocesses through the powder preprocessing part. and with the non-linear regression model algorism engine part, reflecting the attenuation characteristics depend on the delayed time of degree of the signal power which is received to the superhigh frequency RF beam. so it is able to detect the signal of the most likely mine or powder based on the degree of the answer signal power according to the delayed time of the superhigh frequency RF beam. also, it can detect the powder whether it is metal or nonmetal, mine, dud, VBIED. it can increase the chance of detection about 90% more than existing mine detector.

In order to meet increasing power demands, electrical capacity of equipment for power transfers should become larger accordingly. The equipment used for producing and delivering high-voltage power is also required to operate with a high degree of reliability. The stable operation of power equipment is a necessity, not an option. The current through the power cable, the only device to deliver high power, generates a Joule heat, which causes a deteriorating process on the cable system. The XLPE cable is manufactured in such a manner that it can operate for 30 years at
, but there is no guarantee that each cable will reach its projected lifetime of 30 years. In this paper, we have measured the temperatures of nine power cables in operation, based on the theory of cable longevity. In order to study the relationship between temperature and longevity, we have devised a new set of equipment and installed it at Korea Western Power Co., Ltd. located in Taean.
