A Study on Improving Cyber Liability Insurance for Electronic Financial Incident in Easy Payment System

A convergence of finance and information technology brought a remarkable development in Fin-Tech industry. On the other hand, currently existing laws seemed inappropriate to address the liability of financial institutions, Fin-tech enterprises and consumers in case of financial accidents due to its ambiguity. The minimum insurance obligation by financial institutions specified under the Electronic Financial Transaction Act 2006 is not keeping with current reality, considering transaction volume, frequency of incidents, and security investments. This paper aims to lay stress on the need of cyber liability insurance by understanding the domestic financial incidents and management, and the limit of existing insurance policy.

The railroad is one of the most popular means of transport. Howerver, railroad agencies are managing the railroad information and provide its service respectively. That is, because of managing the different information and its type, The user will not receive the correct and integrated information. In this study, We figure out the needs of passengers that they want in railroad service and seek an integrated service plan that railroad passengers can use the railroad information service at a time, at a glance and in one place. Also, we investigate the knowledge-base construction to provide a knowledge map service to railroad passengers.

This study aims to develop sound ecosystem of scanned cartoons and books through the effective identification technology developed as a part of the project granted from the Korea Copyright Commission (Project title: Identification and Copy Protection Technology of Scanned Text/Comic Books). This study shows a model integrating the scanned book identification system with the existing system that identifies scanned cartoons. The model suggested in this study is expected to give a help in reducing the author`s damages due to the indiscriminate illegal reproduction, which tends to expand with high quality scanners and editing softwares.

This paper aims to analyze the business types of 237 IoT based smart home companies in the world (launched during 1999~2014) which got global investment last few years. For this, the previous literatures trying to analze technology and service types of smart home are searched and the typology of the platform is discussed. Based on it, this research conceptualizes an analysis framework that includes three areas of smart home like home automation, home security, and energy efficiency with the three platform types like product, software, and service. This study concludes that the development of business type for IoT based smart home ecosystem is from the product to software and it can be a platform or not. In current status, there are a few platforms of product and software, but in the device management (16%) and thermostat (11%), companies are persuing more platform like. It is difficult to find the service platform in overall areas, for application based service has a few attractions in the investment market due to the lack of cloud infrastructure and data analytics. The following three are the implication to domestic market: 1) More active offering of API and SDK, 2) more active introduction of wireless Intenet network protocols, and 3) more active interoperability efforts and alliance activities are needed.

Design and Implementation of Arduino-based Efficient Home Security Monitoring System

In this paper, we propose an Arduino-based effective home security monitoring system. Proposed home security monitoring system consists of arduino which is inexpensive main processor, ultrasonic sensor and human body detection sensor to detect whether someone breaks into home. Data from ultrasonic sensor and human body detection sensor are transmitted to web server via ethernet shield connected to arduino. Web server checks whether someone breaks into home by using stored data from ultrasonic sensor and human body detection sensor. Snapshot is photographed via webcam connected by using JQuery. Photographed snapshot is stored in web server as image file. A user can monitor in web or smart device environment by using HTML5, CSS and Canvas. When examining efficiency of proposed home security monitoring system, it was found that proposed system is easier to be made than existing home security system and is cost effective by using arduino and is efficient and convenient and stable as it enables a user to handle an error in person and it uses reliable data.
Automatic Classification of Advertising Restaurant Blogs Using Machine Learning Techniques

Recently, users choosing a restaurant basedon information provided by blogs are increasing significantly. However, those of most blogs are unreliable since domestic restaurant blogs are occupied by advertising postings written by `power bloggers`. Thus, in order to ensure the reliability of blogs, it is necessary to filter the advertising blogs which are sometimes false or exaggerated. In this paper, we propose the method of distinguishing the advertising blogs utilizing an automatic classification technique. In the proposed technique, we first manually collected advertising restaurant blogs, and then analyzed features which are commonly found in those blogs. Using the extracted features, we determined whether a given blog is advertising one applying automatic classification algorithms. Additionally, we select the features and the algorithm which guarantee optimal classification performance through comparative experiments.
An Efficient FTN Decoding Method using Separation of LDPC Decoding Symbol in Next Generation Satellite Broadcasting System

To increase throughput efficiency and improve performance, FTN(Faster Than Nyquist) method and LDPC(Low Density Parity Code) codes are employed in DVB-S3 system. In this paper, we proposed efficient turbo equalization model to minimize inter symbol interference induced by FTN transmission. This paper introduces two conventional scheme employing SIC(Successive Interference Cancellation) and BCJR equalizer. Then, we proposed new scheme to resolve problems in this two conventional scheme. To make performance improved in turbo equalization model, the outputs of LDPC and BCJR equalizer are iteratively exchange probabilistic information. In fed LDPC outputs as extrinsic informa tion of BCJR equalizer. we split LDPC output to separate bit probabilities. We compare performance of proposed scheme to that of conventional methods through using simulation in AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) channel. We confirmed that performance was improved compared to conventional methods as increasing throughput parameters of FTN.
Research Trends Analysis of Domestic Carrier Billing Services using Meta-Analysis

The purpose of this research is to study technical and policy improvements of carrier billing services, which are a developing and growing industry, by adopting a meta-analysis method. Implications were derived from studying 15 years-worth of academic research papers (from 2001 to 2015), by analyzing the trends over a total of 109 such research papers on carrier billing services. First, looking at the characteristics of the main studies of the papers from 2008 to 2009, it papers appeared that dealt with preventing fraudulent transactions and preserving consumer protection. Privacy, policy proposals and studies for new systems were researched from 2010-2012. Service, success factors, damage prevention systems research, law, and institutions were discussed in 2013-2015 mainly. Second, the research showed that the number of carrier billing service studies increased due to social issues(telecommunications billing services deregulation, the emergence smartphones, fraud). Third, in sectorial research results, technology was the focus area of 47 papers (43.1%), the service sector was the focus of 39 pieces (35.8%) and law and policy improvement accounted for 23 pieces (21.1%). The study of technology and service areas was the most active and according to changes in the environment, law and policy improvement were second to most active. This study will contribute to improving relevant institutions and research directions about study trends in carrier billing services.
A Study on TE Scattering by a Conductive Strip Grating Over Two Dielectric Layers

In this paper, the solutions of TE(transverse electric) scattering problems by a conductive strip grating over two dielectric layers are analyzed by applying the PMM(point matching method) known as a numerical method of electromagnetic field. The boundary conditions are applied to obtain the unknown field coefficients, the scattered electromagnetic fields are expanded in a series of Floquet mode functions, and the conductive boundary condition apply to analysis of conducting strip. The most normalized reflected and transmitted powers having a sharp variations are scattered in direction of the other angles except incident angle. The numerical results for the normalized reflected and transmitted powers are analyzed by according as the width and spacing of conductive strip, incident angles, and the relative permittivity and thickness of the two dielectric layers. To confirm the validity of this paper, the numerical results of presented structure are shown in good agreement compared to those of the existing papers.
A Study on Coaxial-Structure Waveguide High-Order Mode Coupler of Ku-Band satellite tracking system for UAV

In this paper, higher order coupler using small size waveguide which applicable for mobile Ku-band multimode monopulse satellite tracking antenna system, has been designed, implemented and tested. Proposed higher order mode coupler adopts a coaxial structure for low profile characteristic considering installation property to mobile satellite terminal system. In addition, by using proposed coupler, extracted tracking error signal pattern has measured and confirmed that required tracking accuracy is satisfied in desired frequency band. In the future, proposed coupler could utilize for multimode monopulse satellite tracking system for high tracking accuracy.
Performance Improvement of SE-MMA Adaptive Equalization algorithm by Selective Updating

This paper proposes the SU-SE-MMA algorithm which applying the concept of selective updaing to the SE-MMA that is possible to reduce the intersymbol interference due to distortion occurred at the channel when transmit the nonconstant modulus 16-QAM signal. The SE-MMA emerged for the simplifying the computational operation from the current MMA adaptation algorithm, then it`s has the fast convergence speed and has a problem of increase the residual component in the steady state. The SU-SE-MMA performs the selectively tap updating when the distance of equalizer output and specified transmit signal point is greater than the given threshold value and tap updaing does not occurred in the small distance. By this selective updating process, it is possible to more reduction in the computational operation in the propose algorithm. The improved adaptive equalization performance of SU-SE-MMA like as the equalizer output signal constellation, residual isi, MD, SER were confirmed by computer simulation compared to SE-MMA. As a result of simulation, the AV-SE-MMA has better performance in output signal constellation, residual isi and MD compared to the SE-MMA, but it was confirmed that the AV-SE-MMA has similar in the SER performance that means the robustness to the noise.
Performance Improvement of S-MMA Adaptive Equalization Algorithm based on the Variable Step Size

This paper proposes the improving the equalization performance using the variable step size in the S-MMA (Sliced-Multi Modulus Algorithm) equalization algorithm in order to minimize the effect of intersymbol interference which occurs at the nonlinear transfer function of communication channel. The S-MMA were showned for the improving the steady state equalization performance and misadjustment compared to the MMA present algorithm, this two algorithm has a limitation of performance improvement due to the adapting the fixed step size according to the error signal amplitude. In order to solving the abovemensioned problem, the proposed algorithm was adopting the variable step size proportional to the error signal amplitude and the computer simulation was performed for showing the performance improving. As a result of simulation, the proposed VSS S-MMA algorithm has more superior equalization performance compared to the present S-MMA.
Image Restoration Based on Inverse Filtering Order and Power Spectrum Density

In this paper, we suggest a approach which comprises fast Fourier transform inversion by wavelet noise attenuation. It represents an inverse filtering by adopting a factor into the Wiener filtering, and the optimal factor is chosen to minimize the overall mean squared error. in order to apply the Wiener filter, we have to compute the power spectrum of original image from the corrupted figure. Since the Wiener filtering contains the inverse filtering process, it expands the noise when the blurring filter is not invertible. To remove the large noises, the best is to remove the noise using wavelet threshold. Wavelet noise attenuation steps are consisted of inverse filtering and noise reduction by Wavelet functions. experimental results have not outperformed the other methods over the overall restoration performance.
A Study on Multi-hop Positioning Error in Indoor Positioning System

Recently indoor positioning technologies have been studied using the acoustic signal from a smart phone. Also multi-hop indoor positioning system in which the equipments measure their relative position successively has been proposed. As the total positioning error is prone to increase due to the successively accumulated positioning error for the multi-hop system, the error analysis is required for the system design. In this paper, the absolute positioning error for the multi-hop indoor positioning equipments successively installed is analyzed, and it is verified by computer simulation. According to the results, the accumulated positioning error is linearly increased as the number of the multi-hop increases.
An automatic pronunciation evaluation system using non-native teacher`s speech model

An appropriate evaluation on learner`s pronunciation has been an important part of foreign language education. The learners should be evaluated and receive proper feedback for pronunciation improvement. Due to the cost and consistency problem of human evaluation, automatic pronunciation evaluation system has been studied. The most of the current automatic evaluation systems utilizes underlying Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology. We suggest in this work to evaluate learner`s pronunciation accuracy and fluency in word-level using the ASR and non-native teacher`s speech model. Through the performance evaluation on our system, we confirm the overall evaluation result of pronunciation accuracy and fluency actually represents the learner`s English skill level quite accurately.
Identification of the Structural Relationship between Goal Orientation, Teaching Presence, Approaches to Learning, Satisfaction and Academic Achievement of Online Continuing Education Learners

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationships among goal orientation, teaching presence, approaches to leaning, satisfaction and academic achievement. For this study, the web survey was administered to 235 learners who participated in distance lifelong education centers of A, B, and C university in South Korea. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was conducted in order to examine the causal relationships among the variables. The results indicated that first, mastery-approach goal and teaching presence had positive effects on deep approach. Second, mastery-approach goal showed negative effects on surface approach, while teaching presence did not. Third, deep approach had positive effects on satisfaction, Fourth, surface approach had negative effects on satisfaction. Fifth, deep approach showed positive effects. Last, surface approach showed negative effects on academic achievement. Based on the result of the research, the study propose the constructive foundation for providing strategies raising the satisfaction and academic achievement in distance life-long education.
Implementation of DTV Indoor Receiving Antenna with Gap Sleeve Structure

In this paper, we proposes a DTV indoor receiving antenna with a gap sleeve monopole structure. The proposed antenna uses a basic structure of a sleeve monopole and gap sleeve. To optimize antenna, we have adjusted the gap between monopole and sleeve, the gap between sleeve and ground. In order to confirm the property of antenna parameters, it was used a commercial software, HFSS. For the antenna fabrication, a FR4 dielectric substrate which has a dielectric constant of 4.7 was used. The size of the antenna was
. Frequency band of the fabricated antenna was 432MHz ~ 827MHz, and the bandwidth was 395MHz. The maximum gain of the antenna was 2.19dBi. Consequently, it was confirmed the possibility of practical application of the DTV indoor receiving antenna with a gap sleeve monopole structure.
Delta Sigma Modulation of Controller Input Signal for the LED Light Driver

In this paper, we present the LED dimming control system by using ADPCM (Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation). This ADPCM apparatus accurately controls the LED current with high resolution reducing the RFI (radio frequency interference) due to the spreading out of the harmonics of current of pulses. Additionally, this makes it easier to increase the accuracy of control operation. This study introduces to make a digitally controlled circuit for controlling LED with high-energy efficient by adopting pulse current to LED. The LED current drive system we designed are two systems, the digitally-controlled unit and analog switching mode power supply unit, can be developed separately. The simulation shows the sigma delta modulation of digital to analog converter`s output when the input level is 0.7. From this simulation, the output is approached to accurately 0.15% to target value with 510 pulses.
A Study On Statistical Simulation for Asymmetric Multi-Core Processor Architectures

If trace-driven or execution-driven simulation is used for the performance analysis of asymmetric multi-core processors, excessive time and much disk space are necessary. In this paper, statistical simulations are performed for asymmetric multi-core processors with various hardware configurations. For the experiment, SPEC 2000 benchmark programs are used for profiling and synthesis, which is supplied as input for the simulation of asymmetric multi-core processors. As a result, the performance of asymmetric multi-core processor obtained by statistical simulation is comparable to that of the trace-driven simulation with a tremendous reduction in the simulation time.
Realization of Plasmonic Adaptive Coupler using Curved Multimode Interference Waveguide

Nano-scale power splitter based on curved plasmonic waveguides are designed by utilizing the multimode interference (MMI) coupler. To analyze easily the adaptive properties of plasmonic curverd multimode interference coupler(PC-MMIC), the curved form transforms equivalently into a planar form by using conformal transformation method. Also, effective dielectric method and longitudinal modal transmission-line theory are used for simulating the light propagation and optimizing the structural parameters at 3-D guiding geometry. The designed
PC-MMIC does not work well for quasi-TM mode case due to the bending structure, and it does not exist 3dB coupling property, in which the power splitting ratio is 50%:50%, for quasi-TE mode case. Further, the coupling efficiency is better when the signal is incident at channel with large curvature radius than small curvature radius.
A study on improvements of disaster management with public-private partnerships

The purpose of this research is to study how efficiently corporate public-private partnerships in disaster management is. The research method involved interviewing fifteen experts in disaster management, who were questioned about assisting disaster-stricken areas in accordance with public-private partnerships. These experts offered the following suggestions for improving disaster management methodology. First, to overcome the lack systematic management in the public-private partnerships for disaster relief to expand and strengthen the role of civil organizations. Second, disaster managers and private organizations should have active communication along secure channels so that private organizations can take advantage of the talents that public and private entities own. Third, for civilian experts to share their information, which should be actively utilized to support disaster management in local government. Fourth, education and training for public-private partnerships should be made on an ongoing basis. Fifth, effective disaster management and recognition of public-private cooperation should be strengthened. Finally, private sector support should be made. This study was applied to the Delphi method and that improvements can be made to a variety of populations, such as questionnaires. The results of this study will contribute to the policy options for establishing public-private partnerships in disaster management.
Economic Profit Analysis for Centralized Operation of Economic Load Dispatch Problem

This paper demonstrates that centralized economic load dispatch optimization is much more economical than independent optimization carried out by individual power generating companies. The algorithm applied here optimizes by balancing the generation power at the valve-point, then readjusting generation power by comparing incremental operating cost incurred by marginal increase in the generation power and decremental operating cost likewise incurred by marginal decrease in the generation power. Upon comparing 3 individual optimization cases of 10, 13, and 40 generators respectively with centralized optimization of 63 generators, centralized operation for economic load dispatch optimization has proven to maximize economic benefits by markedly reducing operation costs of individual optimization.
Improvement of The National Technical Qualifications System from ICT point of view

Pending issues present in the Nation Technical Qualifications System (NTQS) have been discussed to deal with the causes and improvements of the issues. The key present situations of the NTQS were investigated to analyze the problems of the NTQS. The acquisition distribution of the items of additional points in employment and the items applied to the laws and regulations of duty employment was revealed to be related with preferential items. The AHP analysis has been conducted based on issues for improvement of the NTQS raised till now. The urgency priority of the elements to be improved was ranked according to the AHP analysis result. The agendas for the improvement of the NTQS was suggested by consideration of the priority of the elements. First, a solution to raise discrimination of the NTQS was suggested by taking the view points of the experts into account. Second, an opinion was proposed that the preferential policies in employment should be directed toward expansion of qualification for duty employment. Third, two ideas were proposed to rectify problems embedded in the technician career handbook system. And four remedies have been made suggested, including the merger of similar events. The results of this research are expected to serve as a useful material for the future design of the NTQS.

Aircraft have a cross axis of the three each other for maintenance of aircraft position. It is called roll axis, pitch axis and yaw axis. Attitude reference system is a sensor for detecting a change of the three axis. In this paper, mobile robot platform install part of Pan-tilt and HMD attitude reference system, because of we use control camera. The acceleration sensor is very weak a lot of noise to vibration, also problem with data from process of mapping to the data problems to arise. However to solve this problem, we removed the average filter and Cosine Interpolation for Pan-tilt. Using capacity evaluation for outdoor environment for we are proposing. Mobile robot has HMD and equipped Pan-tilt. We control mobile robot camera. In this experiment result is little bit delay happening, however Pan-tilt camera is relatively stable control checking. Also, we will checking any terrain and slopes is no problem for mobile robot driving skills.
