The Efficient Signal Estimation Method for Monitor Electromagnetic Signal

Recently according to the development of an information society the information technology equipments which a clock frequency has the facility over a number giga hertz have been developed much. And we have research which leakage electromagnetic signals can use at the communication security and tapping. In this paper, we restored leakage electromagnetic signals of the monitors. And we proposed efficient recovery technique to restore the screen of the monitor. First of all, we understand a screen characteristic of the monitor. And then we restored a monitor screen from leakage electromagnetic signals from the monitor. For also we tried to use a Wavelet transform and filters to remove the noise for better performance. In the result of the experiment, we used leakage electromagnetic signals and confirmed the possibility of a monitor screen of the recovery. And we improve the performance with Wavelet transform and filters.
A JPEG Quantization Table Design for Mobile QVGA Images

This paper presents a new JPEG quantization table design method for mobile images in handset. From the characteristics of the mobile images, we propose a modeling method of the quantization table and select the optimized pre-emphasis factor from various sets of
images. From the experiment, we show that the performance is improved in the sense of bpp and PSNR, applying the proposed method.
A study on the color quantization for facial images using skin-color mask

In this paper, we propose a color quantization method regarding facial image for mobile services. For facial images, skin colors are more emphasized. First, we extract skin-color mask in the image and divide the image into two regions. Next, we extract color pallette for two regions respectively. In the proposed method, the loss in the face region is minimized and it can be useful for mobile services considering facial images. From the 8-bit color quantization experiment, we show that the proposed method works well.
An Entropy-Based Routing Protocol for Supporting Stable Route Life-Time in Mobile Ad-hoc Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, we propose an entropy-based routing protocol to effectively support both stable route construction and route lifetime in Mobile Ad-hoc Wireless Sensor Networks (MAWSN). The basic idea and feature of the proposed routing protocol are as follows. First, we construct the stable routing routes based on entropy concept using mobility of mobile nodes. Second, we consider a realistic approach, in the points of view of the MAWSN, based on mobile sensor nodes as well as fixed sensor nodes in sensor fields while the conventional research for sensor networks focus on mainly fixed sensor nodes. The performance evaluation of the proposed routing protocol is performed via simulation using OPNET(Optimized Network Engineering Tool) and analysis. The results of the performance evaluation show that the proposed routing protocol can efficiently support both the construction of stable route and route lifetime in mobile ad-hoc wireless networks.
Resource Allocation Method in High-Rate Wireless Personal Area Networks

High-Rate Wireless Personal Area Networks (HR-WPANs) in IEEE 802.15.3 standard use a TIme Devision Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol to support isochronous traffic. Isochronous traffic requires a delay-bounded service. However, the HR-WPAN standard suffers from long access delay and association delay. In this paper, we propose an enhanced MAC protocol for the delay-bounded traffic. This proposed protocol provides a way that a central node is able to collect traffic status on all member nodes. Furthermore, by utilizing the information, a scheduling algorithm is also proposed in order to synchronize the instant of a packet transmission with that of the packet arrival. With the proposed protocol and algorithm, the delay of access and association can be reduced. Performance analysis is carried out and the significant performance enhancement is observed.
3D Spatial Image City Models Generation and Applications for Ubiquitous-City

The visual implementation of 3-dimensional national environment is focused by the requirement and importance in the fields such as, urban planing, telecommunication facility deployment plan, railway construction, construction engineering, spatial city development, safety and disaster prevention engineering. The currently used DEM system based on the 2-D digital maps and contour lines has limitation in implementation in reproducing the 3-D spatial city. Currently, the LiDAR data which combines the laser and GPS skill has been introduced to obtain high resolution accuracy in the altitude measurement in the advanced country. In this paper, we first introduce the LiDAR based researches in advanced foreign countries, then we propose the data generation scheme and an solution algorithm for the optimal management of our 3-D spatial u-City construction. For this purpose, LiDAR based height data transformed to DEM, and the realtime unification of the vector via digital image mapping and raster via exactness evaluation is transformed to make it possible to trace the model of generated 3-dimensional model with long distance for 3D u-city model generation.
Effective Cross-Lingual Text Retrieval using a Fuzzy Knowledge Base

Cross-lingual text retrieval(CLTR) is the information retrieval in which a user tries to search a set of documents written in one language for a query another language. This thesis proposes a CLTR system based on fuzzy multilingual thesaurus to handle a partial matching between terms of two different languages. The proposed CLTR system uses a fuzzy term matrix defined in our thesis to perform the information retrieval effectively. In the defined fuzzy term matrix, all relation degrees between terms are inferred from using the transitive closure algorithm to reflect all implicit links between terms into processing of the information retrieval. With this framework, the CLTR system proposed in our thesis enhances the retrieval effectiveness because it is able to emulate a human expert's decision making well in CLTR.
