Digital Watermarking Technique of Compressed Multi-view Video with Layered Depth Image

In this paper, proposed digital image watermarking technique with lifting wavelet transformation. This watermark technique can be easily extended in video content fields. Therefore, we apply this watermark technique to layered depth image structure that is efficient compression method of multi-view video with depth images. This application steps are very simple, because watermark is inserted only reference image. And watermarks of the other view images borrow from reference image. Each view image of multi-view video may be guaranteed authentication and copyright.
A study on the DoA Estimation Prformance of Interference Signal in W-CDMA using 3D Adaptive Array Antenna

This paper deals with the estimation performance DoA (Direction of Arrival) using the 3D adaptive array antenna in W-CDMA signal. For this, we proposed the 5 types of 3D array antenna, and appied for the MUSIC in order to the estimation of DoA algorithm for that antenna, commonly, then the DoA estimation error was used for the estimation performance. In the mobile communication and radio positioning service, performing the spatial filtering after the DoA estimation in array antenna, the quality of receiving signal can improve by the nulling or minimization of interfering signal which is from the undesired direction and the forming of beam which is from the desired direction. The result of DoA estimation and the DoA estimation error by varying the signal to noise ration and the number of interfering signal and power of each type antenna was calculated by computer simulation. As a result of simulation, the other propose antenna has good performance excluding the stack 3D antenna in DoA estimation and the Curved-B type antenna has more superior performance when increasing the number of interfering signal and power in the DoA estimation error.
Development of Vulnerability Scanner using Search Engine

In these days, security threat is ever increasing as computer systems and networking is everywhere. This paper is on the development of security scanner using search engine, with which site managers can easily check security vulnerability on their systems. Our security server automatically collects security-related information on the Internet, and indexes them in the database. To check the vulnerability of a customer server, the client system collects various system-specific information, and sends necessary queries to our security server for vulnerability checking. Up-to-date and site-specific vulnerability information is retrieved through the viewer, which allows the customer effectively to check and respond to security threat on client systems.

The oriental medical treatment has many strong points when compared to the western medical treatment, but there are still problems when there is no scientific proof given concerning the effectiveness of a certain treatment. Moreover, experiments are being conducted where new medical treatments applied to patients suing both oriental and western techniques. Especially, in oriental acupuncture, there is no objective data on which an oriental medicine doctor can decide the injection time for acupuncture needle by considering a patients body condition, age and the condition of the diseases. From computer simulation results, it has been that the electronic needle is more efficient than the conventional method of acupuncture needle.
Color Seal Extraction of Document Images using An Extended Fuzzy Integral

This paper casts an application of an extended fuzzy integral on the selective extraction of color clusters characterized by a particular color hue from color document images. Despite of the negative role of fuzzy integral, the presented approach attains the detection of the seals through the neighborhood information via the center of area method. The conventional fuzzy integral evaluates the negative aspects of the importance about the items by min operator, which result in the discontinuous parts of seals. In an attempt to cope with the drawback our approach considers the integral aspects via the center of area method, which results in the robustness of the images. Finally, the framework is successfully tested on a data set formed by documents from a real application for the detection.
Current-Mode Serial-to-Parallel and Parallel-to-Serial Converter for Current-Mode OFDM FFT LSI

OFDM is used for achieving a high-speed data transmission in mobile wireless communication systems. Conventionally, fast Fourier transform that is the main signal processing of OFDM is implemented using digital signal processing. The DSP FFT LSI requires large power consumption. Current-mode FFT LSI with analog signal processing is one of the best solutions for high speed and low power consumption. However, for the operation of current-mode FFT LSI that has the structure of parallel-input and parallel-output, current-mode serial-to-parallel and parallel-to-serial converter are indispensable. We propose a novel current-mode SPC and PSC and full chip simulation results agree with experimental data. The proposed current-mode SPC and PSC promise the wide application of the current-mode analog signal processing in the field of low power wireless communication LSI.
Development of Drive Method for Gray scale Representation by Liquid Powder Display Panel

Many techniques to realize e-paper is proposed, but full requirement of e-paper is still not satisfied. In this paper, driven condition and gray scale representation method of e-paper is proposed. As a result of this study, multi-channel drive for allowing gray scale representation by cell is developed. And also drive circuit design for liquid powder display panel is developed.
Efficient Layered Depth Image Representation of Multi-view Image with Color and Depth Information

Multi-view video is necessary to develop a new compression encoding technique for storage and transmission, because of a huge amount of data. Layered depth image is an efficient representation method of multi-view video data. This method makes a data structure that is synthesis of multi-view color and depth image. This paper proposed enhanced compression method by presentation of efficient layered depth image using real distance comparison, solution of overlap problem, and interpolation. In experimental results, confirmed high compression performance.
A Embedded System Technology for Web based monitoring and control system

In this paper, an example of implementation of a embedded system technology for web based monitoring and control system is presented. For it interfaces with target board as an embedded system was developed, which was applied to specific green room model and verified of its usefulness. We implemented client/server socket programs using Java classes, and web based green room monitoring and control system as an user interface using JavaApplet. The implemented system did send information of green room model to client programs well on TCP/IP and control signals from client to green room model well too.
A Study on the Information Effluence State and Measure by Peer-to-Peer Programs in Korea and Japan

Information Effluence leaks are caused by the wide use of the P2P program in Japan and Korea lead by the increase of internet use and network infrastructure expansion. This research confirms the seriousness of the data collected from the P2P leaks of the two countries and furthers its study by researching how countermeasures are applied. The effectiveness is verified by collecting data according to countermeasure applied periods. Both countries had information leaks, but in the case of Japan, not only personal information leaks but corporation, administrative agency, military, and others in a wide range as well. As a countermeasure against information effluence, Korea is enforcing counter plans mainly against the P2P service businesses and for Japan, various plans are taken such as business guides for each agency, organization management, SW development and supply, HW supply, and ect. The leaks in Japan were more severe than the ones in Korea but they had well planned countermeasures that were applied. Therefore if the Japanese countermeasure on information effluence of P2P programs is taken as a lesson, Korea can prevent the problem of leaks beforehand.
A Novel Multi-focus Image Fusion Scheme using Nested Genetic Algorithms with "Gifted Genes"

We propose in this paper a novel approach to image fusion in which the fusion rule is guided by optimizing an image clarity function. A Genetic Algorithm is used to stochastically select, comparative to the clarity function, the optimum block from among the source images. A novel nested Genetic Algorithm with gifted individuals found through bombardment of genes by the mutation operator is designed and implemented. Convergence of the algorithm is analytically and empirically examined and statistically compared (MANOVA) with the canonical GA using 3 test functions commonly used in the GA literature. The resulting GA is invariant to parameters and population size, and a minimal size of 20 individuals is found to be sufficient in the tests. In the fusion application, each individual in the population is a finite sequence of discrete values that represent input blocks. Performance of the proposed technique applied to image fusion experiments, is characterized in terms of Mutual Information (MI) as the output quality measure. The method is tested with C=2 input images. The results of the proposed scheme indicate a practical and attractive alternative to current multi-focus image fusion techniques.

This paper proposes the algorithms that design the highly digital logic circuit and assign the code to each node of DCG(Directed Cyclic Graph) of length
. The conventional algorithm have some problems, so this paper introduce the matrix equation from DCG of length
and proposes highly digital logic circuit design algorithms according to the DCG of length
. Using the proposed circuit design algorithms in this paper, it become realized that was able to design from former algorithm. Also, making a comparison between the circuit using former algorithm and this paper's, we testify that proposed paper's algorithm is able to realize more optimized circuit design. According to proposed circuit design algorithm in this paper, it is possible to design current that DCG have natural number, so it have the following advantages, reduction of the circuit input/output digits, simplification of circuit composition, reduction of computation time and cost. And we show comparability and verification about this paper's algorithm.
A Study on the ARQ base Relay Selection Scheme of the Cooperation-OFDM Protocol in the Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has limited power and bandwidth. In order to high data rate and high speed communication systems are required. Cooperative communication system can help to decrease power consumption through spatial diversity. In cooperative transmission, one partner node assists one sensor node to transmit their data to destination. Instead of using M partners for M sensor nodes, we propose 1 partner for M sensor nodes. And we proposed relay selection scheme base on ARQ. Proposed protocol offers higher diversity order as conventional one with much less bandwidth and power. The destination will consider the one packets received from the best relay to reduce the complexity of the system. We verified BER performance for the proposed protocol through Monte-Carlo simulation over Rayleigh fading plus AWGN.
Implementation of the Dual Band Chip Antenna for WLAN

In this paper, we designed and implemented a dual band chip antenna for WLAN, which contains within the small LAN card contrary to the enternal AP(Access Point) antenna. Limiting about the antenna size, we used dielectrics of high permittivity. Totally considering problems of demand-supply, price and characteristics, we used that relative dielectrics of ceramic is 9.8 and the thickness is 3.5mm and 5mm. Ceramic antenna can be used not only triple mode of IEEE 802.11.a,g and b but also broadband. The frequency bands have wideband characteristics of 2.4~2.5GHz and 4.9~5.85GHz and relatively constant performance.
