A Study on Human Resource Scheduling Scheme for Multimedia Service Provisioning in Ubiquitous Environment

At a Internet service provider(ISP), field human resources visit many customers sites to provide multimedia services to customers in ubiquitous environment. Scheduling the resources is a hard problem because there are many tasks which have to be done by the resources and the number of the resources is not sufficient. To tackle this problem, ISPs had used team-based scheduling system. However, this aporoach was not sufficient to reduce the number of frequent changes of arrival time and could not increase operational efficiency. We also developed an optimal resource selection algorithm based on statistical information when an operator assigns a task to the resource. After we adopted this algorithm to the real world, the resources can do more tasks in a day.
Performance Comparison of OLSR and AODV Routing Protocols Using OPNET

A Mobile Ad hoc network(MANET) is a network consisting of a set of wireless mobile nodes, which communicate with each other without centralized control or established infrastructure. In this paper, to obtain a better understanding of AODV(Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol)and OLSR(Optimized Link State Routing Protocol) routing protocols, different performances are simulated and analyzed using OPNET modeler 14.5 with the various performance metrics, such as packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay and routing overhead. As a conclusion, in static analysis, the routing overhead of OLSR is affected by the number of nodes, but not data traffic. In AODV case, it is affected by both data traffic and number of nodes. In mobility analysis, routing overhead is not greatly affected by mobility speed in AODV and OLSR, and the PDR(Packet Delivery Ration) of OLSR is decreased as the node speed increased, while AODV is not changed. AS to delay, AODV is always higher than OLSR in both static and nobility cases.
A Study on Implementation of On-Line Gaming Server applying an Object Polling Scheme

When a dynamic method is applied at the time of occurrence of an client's connection request for most of the online gaming server engine, the gaming server is processing a session connection, it's initialization. Yet, such a method will cause a lot of loading and bottle-neck in the gaming server at the same time. Therefore we propose the object polling scheme to minimizes a memory fragmentation and loading of the initialization on the client using a static allocation method for an efficient On-lin gaming serverin this paper. We implement the gaming server applying to our proposed scheme, and we show an improvement in our proposed scheme by performance analysis in this paper.
Overfitting Reduction of Intelligence Web Search based on Enforcement Learning

Recent days intellectual systems using reinforcement learning are being researched at various fields of game and web searching applications. A good training models are called to be fitted with trainning data and also classified with new records accurately. A overfitted model with training data may possibly bring the unfavored fallacy of hasty generalization. But it would be unavoidable in actual world. The entropy and mutation model are suggested to reduce the overfitting problems on this paper. It explains variation of entropy and artificial development of entropy in datamining, which can tell development of mutation to survive in nature world. Periodical generation of maximum entropy are introduced in this paper to reduce overfitting. Maximum entropy model can be considered as a periodical generalization in intensified process of intellectual web searching.
Efficient Learning of Bayesian Networks using Entropy

Bayesian networks are known as the best tools to express and predict the domain knowledge with uncertain environments. However, bayesian learning could be too difficult to do effective and reliable searching. To solve the problems of overtime demand, the nodes should be arranged orderly, so that effective structural learning can be possible. This paper suggests the classification learning model to reduce the errors in the independent condition, in which a lot of variables exist and data can increase the reliability by calculating the each entropy of probabilities depending on each circumstances. Also efficient learning models are suggested to decide the order of nodes, that has lowest entropy by calculating the numerical values of entropy of each node in K2 algorithm. Consequently the model of the most suitably settled Bayesian networks could be constructed as quickly as possible.
Binary and Halftone Image Data Hiding Technique using Run-Length

In this paper, we proposed that a novel method base on a binary image that technique is proposed for data hiding into binary images and halftone image. A binary image is bitmap image and halftone is composed by two-tone value in a limited region in an image. For this reason, it is not easy to hide messages in binary images. PWLC is a new method to hide a message in binary images. However, it yields images of unacceptable quality, unless you should change very few of it. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, we used run-length method into binary images. That is, we find a proper region to hide messages. In this paper, we proposed new method to hide messages in binary images. In addition, we proved that our algorithm is better than PWLC through the experiment.

Characterization of iron oxide scale films using radio frequency waves

This paper deals with the analysis of characteristics of the scale non-uniformly formed on the surface of the steel during the steel production processes. The steel made at the high temperature contacts with the oxygen in the air, so forms the scale immediately. The scale has a role to protect the surface of the steel product as a oxide-layer, but the scale formed non-uniformly spoils the exterior of the steel product and occurs the problems about the next processes. There is a pickling process to remove the scale of the steel products, but the real situation is that the pickling process is not also based on the analysis of the characteristics of the scale. Therefore, this paper describe the procedures of the analysis of the scale more effectively using the radio-frequency wave. Using the radio-frequency wave, this paper introduce the experimentations to analyze the distributions of scale, the junction characteristics between the surface of steel and scale and the distributions of scale on the produced steel coil. Also, according to the simple simulations, this paper proves the proprieties about the above contents.
A Study of Automatic Ontology Building by Web Information Extraction and Natural Language Processing

The proliferation of the Internet grows, according to electronic documents, along with increasing importance of technology in information retrieval. This research is possible to build a more efficient and accurate knowledge-base with unstructured text documents from the Web using to extract knowledge of the core meaning of LGG (Local Grammar Graph). We have built a ontology based on OWL(Web Ontology Language) using the areas of particular stocks up/down patterns created by the extraction and grammar patterns. It is possible for the user can search for meaning and quality of information about the user wants.
Link Adaptive MAC protocol for Wi-Fi

A novel protocol is proposed to achieve sub-carner-based rate adaptation in OFDM-based wireless systems. The protocol requires the addition of one OFDM symbol to the Clear-to-Send (CTS) packet defined in the IEEE 802.11 standard_ When receiving a Ready-To-Send (RTS) packet, the receiver determines the number of bits to be allocated in each sub-carrier through channel estimation. This decision is delivered to the sender using an additional OFDM symbol. That is, bit-allocation over sub-carriers is achieved using only one additional OFDM symbol. The protocol also provides an error recovery process to synchronize the bit-allocation information between the sender and receiver. The protocol enhances the channel efficiency in spite of the overhead of one additional OFDM symbol.

In this paper, we propose component modeling method using object-oriented design information. it will be supplied to simplify and specify the relationship between informations that to be developed technology based on clustering, encapsulation and inheritance concepts. Also, we propose abstraction method, it will be support to understanding information relation, and it can modeling on system level without particular domain through dividing common service by reuse unit. Thus It is possible reusability and scalability by this concept, and shorten development period and enhance quality.
The Design of Circulation System of Digital Music Contents in P2P Service

In this paper, we propose a new design of circulation system of digital music contents in P2P service. It has functions of contents recognition, management of copyright DB, clearing house to perform payment system of P2P service. In P2P service each user provides his music contents, but in other circulation system, service providers provide their music contents. Therefore it is very difficult for each provider to recognize whatever the quality of distributing contents are good or not. Most circulation systems use hash technology or contents recognition technology for the recognition of contents. For the usability and efficiency this proposed system provides the combining technology of hash processing and contents recognition.
Advanced Fast Handover Scheme for Reliable Multimedia Communication in IP-based Wireless/Mobile Networks

The Internet Engineering Task Force (lETF)proposed the Mobile IPv6 protocol to provide host mobility in IPv6-based network and to offer a standardized technology. However, Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) is not applied in actual network because of long handover latency and packet loss problems. Therefore, to compensate these drawbacks, many studies are in progress and FMIPv6 (Fast handover for Mobile IPv6) is one of the studies that has been proposed to supplement the shortcomings of MIPv6. But there are problems occurred in using router tunneling which causes packet loss and out of sequence problems. In this paper, we propose an Advanced Mobile IPv6 (AMIPv6) protocol to minimize the handover latency when Mobile Node frequently moves in each subnet. We compared the performance analysis of AMIPv6 handover latency with MIPv6 handover latency in the same network environment to prove that AMIPv6 is more efficient.
A Study on Fast Handover Scheme for Seamless Multimedia Transmission in Wireless Networks

Since the use of wireless communication instruments was standardized, users expect to be provided with seamless information whenever and wherever they use the instruments. Also, some technology is required to satisfy the users' needs which will cover their mobility. To support the mobility of host, the Internet Engineering Task Force (lETF) Mobile IP Working Group proposed a protocol called MIPv6 (Mobile IPv6). But in the case of the existing MIPv6, sometimes Mobile Node cannot receive data packet if Handover occurs although it is a temporal phenomenon. For solving these Handover problems, there are many methods like FMIPv6 (Fast Handover for Mobile IPv6) and HMIPv6 (Hierarchical Mobile IPv6) have been suggested. This paper suggested the use of Dual Buffer of Access Point and an effective way of registration as a way of reducing delayed time caused by Handover. Also, it analyzed and compare the existing MIPv6 with a proposed scheme concerning delayed time of Handover. Finally, the main objective of this paper is to proposed scheme that can reduce the delayed time of Handover compare to the existing MIPv6.
Comparative study of OFDMA cooperative relaying methods in Rayleigh fading channel

Recently, the relay communication is focused for the power saving and coverage extension of ad-hoc networks. For the high date rate transmission, it is proposed to adapt OFDMA relays. In this paper, we assume the 2 hop cooperative OFDMA relays between the source and the destination. The performance of 3 different relaying methods are derived and compared. We noticed that the selective OFDMA relaying method has the best performance followed by opportunistic OFDMA relaying and repetition-based OFDMA relaying method under the same threshold mutual information rate.

In these days, world economic crisis is getting worse and most of us are having difficulties in handling financial balance. By noticing that credit card is the most important payment method of individuals, we developed e-receipt system, which helps a person easily keep track of credit card spendings by showing purchase and transaction details in real-time. We've used embedded software engineering techniques in developing the e-receipt system. The system we developed here will benefit most of us by preventing over-spending of credit cards and will lead to healthy spending habits.
Multi-Level Prediction for Intelligent u-life Services

Ubiquitous home is emerging as the future digital home environments that provide various ubiquitous home services like u-Life, u-Health, etc. It is composed of some home appliances and sensors which are connected through wired/wireless network. Ubiquitous home services become aware of user's context with the information gathered from sensors and make home appliances adapt to the current home situation for maximizing user convenience. In these context-aware home environments, it is the one of significant research topics to predict user behaviors in order to proactively control the home environment. In this paper, we propose Multi-Level prediction algorithm for context-aware services in ubiquitous home environment. The algorithm has two phases, prediction and execution. In the first prediction phase, the next location of user is predicted using tree algorithm with information on users, time, location, devices. In the second execution phase, our table matching method decides home appliances to run according to the prediction, device's location, and user requirement. Since usually home appliances operate together rather than separately, our approach introduces the concept of mode service, so that it is possible to control multiple devices as well as a single one. We also devised some scenarios for the conceptual verification and validated our algorithm through simulations.
Development of Cooling/Warming System Using Thermoelectric Device

The thermoelectric effect is the direct conversion of temperature differences to electric voltage and vice versa. A thermoelectric device creates a voltage when there is a different temperature on each side. Conversely when a voltage is applied to it, it creates a temperature difference. This effect is used in this paper to cool objects or to heat them. A cooling/warming system with thermoelectric device is introduced and controlled with PC and LabVIEW.

Through the development of techniques, robots are becomes smaller, and many of robots needed for application are greater and greater. Method of coordinating large number of autonomous robots through local interactions has becoming an important research issue in robot community. Swarm Robot System is a system that independent autonomous robots in the restricted environment infer their status from preassigned conditions and operate their jobs through the coorperation with each other. Within the SRS,a robot contains sensor part to percept the situation around them, communication part to exchange information, and actuator part to do a work. Specially, in order to cooperate with other robots, communicating with other robot is one of the essential elements. In such as Bluetooth has many adventages such as low power consumption, small size module package, and various standard procotols, it is rated as one of the efficent communcating system for autonomous robot is developed in this paper. and How to construct and what kind of procedure to develop the communicatry system for group behavior of the SRS under intelligent space is discussed in this paper.
System Developement of Iron Plate Defects Detection System using Image Processing and Multi Thread Method

The purpose of this research is to propose a system to detect a strip defect on a iron plate using an image processing, one way of finding defects on an iron plate. An existing way of image processing is using a light source which release a light energy in a certain frequency and a light absorbing display which responds to the light source. This research attempts to detect defects by using a image processing and multi-Tread which handles an illumination, without depending on characteristics of light frequency. One of the advantages of this method is that it makes up for the weakness of the existing method which was too difficult for users to notice a defect. Also this method makes it possible to realize a real-time monitoring on a plate of iron. The other advantage of this method is that it reduces the price of hardwares on demand to match the frequency of light emitting display and light absorbing display because this method only needs a hardware which is easy to buy in any market.
A study of Metadata design for Digital Content Marketplace based on Interactive Media

Digital Content Marketplace based on Interactive Media is defmed as the marketplace for content service between contents supplier and consumer through iDTV environment. This Marketplace is increasing interest to u-Life service with Digital Environment. To Interactive Media, it can contribute to enhance its effectiveness by developing various contents and service model in the initial phase of broadcasting-communication convergence. This study designed metadata using Digital Content marketplace based on Interactive Media. Specially the matadata designing include recommendation-tag for supply supplementary content. It can support self-directed action. Through basic metadata with weight value, it is designed to support supplementary content customer to want on the marketplace. Recommendation-System can be built by many method and to recommend the service content including explicit properties using collaborative filtering method can solve limitations in existing content recommendation.
An Efficient P2P Service using Distributed Caches in MANETs

With rapid growth of Mobile Ad-Hoc network(MANET) and P2P service technologies, many attempts for integration of MANET and P2P service and development of such applications are actively introduced recently. The implementation of stable P2P service, however, is very difficult challenge because of the high mobility of mobile users in MANET. In this paper, we propose an efficient mobile P2P service, which shares and manages multimedia data files efficiently in mobile environment, uses distributed caches to store files considering their popularities in order to achieve high performance. The performance of proposed P2P service is evaluated by an analytic model and compared with those of existing DHT based P2P service in peer-to-peer network.
A study on the electrical switching properties of oxide metal

We have investigated the electrical properties of oxide metal thin film device. The device has been fabricated top-top electrode structure and its transport properties are measured in order to study the resistance change. Electrical properties with linear voltage sweep on a electrodes are used to show the variation of resistance of oxide metal thin film device. Fabricated oxide metal thin film device with MIM structure is changed from a low conductive Off-state to a high conductive On-state by the external linear voltage sweep. The
device is switched from a high resistance state to a low resistance state by forming. Consequently, we believe oxide metal is a promising material for a next-generation nonvolatile memory and other electrical applications.

Cognitive radio (CR), which is proposed as a technology that utilizes the frequency resources effectively, has studied to relive scarcity of the frequency resources. CR provides opportunistically unused frequency to the secondary user when the primary user is not detected. Spectrum sensing is the most important technology to detect primary user. However, in the wireless channels, according to the effect of multipath fading channel, spectrum sensing performance is compromised. Therefore, in this paper, we apply diversity scheme that is a useful technique for combating multiple fading in wireless communications. There are several classes of diversity scheme, which are time diversity, antenna diversity, muitipath diversity, frequency diversity, and so on. In this paper, we adopt antenna diversity that is a kind of space diversity. By using the proposed method, we can overcome fading effect and improve spectrum sensing performance.

In this paper the extended algorithm of valley energy was proposed In order to detect the robust features of the face The proposed energy had the variable type without the constant size of valley mask for measuring the gray value among pixels By accumulating the results generated by the various masks the information of valley energy was so diversified. Then the robust energy which is independent of the environments was maded. The various experiments proved that The proposed method showed the detection rate of 98 percentage in the features of the face region.
Study on Performance of Double Binary Turbo Code for Power Line Communication Systems Base on OFDM

Powerline communications (PLC) technology has been discussed and analyzed as a highly potential candidate of wireline access network solutions. In this paper, performance of double binary turbo coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system is analyzed and simulated in power line communications channel. In order to make power line channel environments, Bernoulli-Gaussian noise is considered. The performance is evaluated in terms of bit error probability. From the simulation results, it is demonstrated that the double binary turbo coding scheme offers considerable coding gain with reasonable encoding complexity. It is also shown that the system performance can be substantially improved by increasing the number of iterations.

As the existing backdoor worked at user mode, which is application mode, it was possible to check the existence of backdoor by the integrity check of system file. However, for the backdoor using kernel module, it is impossible to check its existence by the integrity check of system file. Even various programs were presented to protect this LKM Kernel backdoor, there is limitation in protection as they examine the changes on the system Call Table. This study, recognizing the danger of invasion through such LKM Kernel backdoor, will provide alternative for the limitation which the existing integrity check couldn't prevent intrusion through Kernel backdoor.

Especially, people are recognizing the importance of reliability within the embedded software systems(e.g. weapons and medical equipments, etc.). It makes currently mention of software reliability on ISO/IEC 9126, 12119, etc.. However, it is insufficient for the embedded software area in spite of being mentioned the generic software. To do this, we suggest our embedded software reliability assessment through extracting the embedded software meaurement items from reliability assessment items of ISO/IEC 9126, 12119 series.
Applying Design Pattern ＆ Refactoring on Implementing RTOS for the Small Educational Multi-Joint Robot

The traditional small educational multi-joint robots were developed on firmware. In these system's case, we cann't give a chance to educate good practices due on executing just robot's simple movements. But it may be possible for RTOS to control the elaborate movement of the robot with assembling each part on firmware. With this RTOS, we can enhance the efficiency of robot's movements, but too difficult to use the education as increasing the complexity of robot system. To solve the problem, we apply with Design pattern and Refactoring for the Education. Applying robot's design with Design pattern and Refactoring. There may be easily understand what and how to design RTOS for any level ones. We may easily change/upgrade RTOS for new system with this approach. This paper mentions to design RTOS with Design patterns and to apply RTOS's source code with Refactoring.

Increasing the number of the solitude old person maintain a healthy lifestyle, the research for the emergency detection and life monitoring is required. In this paper, the wireless sensor network technology is utilized to design a silver-care service model in the area of emergency silver generation activities. The service model proposed in this paper acquired by using mobile devices to access silver-care service with the network information obtained through video monitoring and sensing. Also, Proposed model, based on wide-area network connected with the best wireless network of the PDA and mobile phones for the solitude old person.
