Implementation of Policy Based Network Management System with COPS-PR for MANET

MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork), a network characterized that its moving nodes freely constructs Network topology, has other different characteristics. Because Policy based Network Management in MANET guarantees QoS between nodes, it is essential in applied areas like VANET which targets safety and convenience. In this paper, we use COPS-PR which is appropriate Policy Exchange Protocol for MANET, and implement DiffServ-based QoS in the real networks and experiment its capability.
Relay Selection Schemes in Network-Coding based Two-Way Relay Communication to Improve Performance

In This Paper, we propose relay schemes for network-coding based two-way relay communication in multi relay channel. Two-way relay channel communication is a bi-directional communication that two users exchange their data with the help of a relay. Network-coding based Two-way relay communication can achieve more throughput compared to conventional two-way relay communication. In this paper, we propose relay selection schemes to provide maximum performance considering instantaneous signal-to-noise in multi-relay channel. Simulation results show that the proposed relay selection schemes can provide diversity order according to the number of relays.
Performance Analysis of Enhanced MAC Protocol to Improve Utilization in Multimedia Service

An Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) is an economical and efficient access network that received significant research attention in recent year. A MAC protocol of the PON, the next generation access network, is based primarily on TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access). In this paper, we addressed the problems of a dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) in Fairness and QoS Performance. We augmented the advanced bandwidth allocation algorithms to support efficient resource utilization by reducing the unused remaining bandwidth made by idle state ONUs. Our new proposed advanced bandwidth allocation algorithm can allocate effectively and fairly the bandwidths between end-users.
A Study of Two Rate Three Color Maker for Differentiated Service Network

This paper addresses the design of trTCM (Two Rate Three Color Marker) described in RFC2698. It has proposed for trTCM to be used in Differentiated Service network that provides AF PHB (Assured Forwarding Per Hop Behavior). trTCM is the marker with the metering function, and consists of the token updating function and the marking function. The token updating function uses the dual token bucket. The marking function compares the token values with the length of input packet and then marks the result into IP QoS field (ToS field). In this paper, we design trTCM function and then addresses the scheme to implement it using FPGA technology.
Active Transmission Scheme to Achieve Maximum Throughput Over Two-way Relay Channel

In the two-way relay channel, the relay employ Amplify-and-Forward (AF) or Decode-and-Forward (DF) protocol, and broadcast the network-coded signal to both user. In the system, DF protocol provides maximum throughput at low signal to noise ratio(SNR). On the other hand, at high SNR, AF protocol provides maximum throughput. The paper propose active transmission scheme which employ Amplify-and-Forward or Decode-and-Forward protocol based on received SNR at the relay over Two-way relay channel. The optimal threshold is investigated numerically for switching the protocol. Through numerical results, we confirm that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional schemes over two-way relay channel.
Development of Software Mobile Controller Contents using Bluetooth Module

In this paper, we propose and develop software controllable mobile controller contents using bluetooth concepts. The main features of the propsed system are as follows. Bluetooth communication is used for between smart phone and bluetooth. We develop two kinds of programs, clients and server, in which clients requests bluetooth communication and server responds. It's controllable to move toward the previous page and next page, and GUI environments can give efficient user oriented services. The results of performance evaluation show relatively good performances in view points of prices, functions, and portability.
IPTV Based Multiplex Channel Shopping Mall Services

In this paper, we propose a multiplex channel shopping mall services using IPTV. The main idea and features are as follows. First, we suggest bi-directional conversation channel instead of conventional unidirectional channel. Currently shopping mall broadcast services are one sidedly provided by commercial company. In these kinds of methods, efficient communication of information between commercial company and users is difficult problem. In this paper, we can solve this problem by using IPTV technology. Second, we can create new profit model by using combination of both the advantages of internet shopping mall and the advantages of cable TV shopping mall.
Implementation of WiFi-to-WiBro Access Point -WiMAX CPE

This paper is to develop WiMAX CPE(wireless AP) that can provides Wi-Fi terminal with wireless Internet service by connecting to Wibro wireless network. This AP aims to support WiBro in upstream interface basically, and Wi-Fi and 100M Ethernet interface in downstream. So, we has developed the equipment for business that wireless ISP can provide many Internet customers with wireless Internet service by using Wi-Fi terminal in subway, car, ship, and so on, and the equipment for users that a user can purchase and then install in person. For the latter, multiple Wi-Fi terminals that be registered in WiBro service can be connected to Internet simultaneously.
Zone based on Wireless Sensor Network Management Protocol for Smart Home

As a core area of the new computing paradigm, the Ubiquitous Sensor Network Technology utilizes a wireless sensor networking which can be applied to the Context Information Monitoring System. When the technology is used in a poor user-environment for monitoring purposes, it can cost-effectively gather the context data on real-time basis, analyze the information gathered, effectively response to the user situation, and execute orders to create environmental factors desired by the user. This study structures a system able to monitor information in regards to a user-environment based on wireless-node sensor technology coupled with the Ubiquitous Sensor Network Technology. In this paper, the protocol in which it manages the wireless sensor network as the zone based by using the management protocol standardized at the smart home with a profile is proposed. The proposed system requires a minimal collection of data without continuous monitoring. Monitoring periodically, it can sense the user-environment more efficiently than the existing monitoring technologies based on the wire-communication technology.
Cable/Wireless Integrated Server for WiBro Contents

We researched economic efficiency and possibility of game portal service based PDA/Smart phone by popularize of next generation portable internet WiBro. PDA/Smart phone are difficult to equal level content service with PC, because of it has low CPU and memory than PC. This paper are implemented paper of integrated server of Cable or Wireless for WiBro contents. In this research, we implemented and show test result of CP killer contents in PDA. It can apply to WiBro portable internet and has required many functions in integrated server for cable or wireless. CP Killer contents for WiBro portable internet is developed by PC server base on Window XP. It can accept next generation wireless LAN, portable internet and ubiquitous issues. We expect activation of commercial use that WiBro contents and server trading.
A Tracking Service of Animal Situation using RFID, GPS, and Sensor

Recently, many researches are being carried out on monitoring animal behaviour and interactions with the environment using sensor networks and for tracing animal chain management and identifying animals using RFID techniques. And we are studying about the management and burglarproof of a pet using GPS technique. But there is a lack of study for providing users intelligence services in zoo using GPS, RFID, and sensor networks. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose a intelligence tracking service of animal situation based on GPS, RFID, and sensor in zoo. Firstly, we present a tracking service scenario of animal situation and system configuration according to this scenario. The proposed service provides users realtime animal situation information of animal like the present location, temperature, image, etc. In addition, we can chase the animals to know a location and situation of animal when the animals escapes from their cages. Next, we implement and test prototype operations of animal tracking system based on this scenario to verify the proposed service.
Omnidirectional Distance Estimation using ultrasonic in Wireless Sensor Networks

Because ubiquitous environment has come with growing IT technology, Researches wireless sensor network are actively on going in many aspects. In this paper, we proposed simple method of distance measurement for omnidirectional distance calculation in wireless sensor network. In addition, we design and implement the proposed method. Then, we verify it through experiments at real environments. when we use the proposed method, maximum distance of measurement is decreased, but we measure distance from degrees. In this paper, we show drop rate and accuracy rate of ultrasonic distance estimation with and without omnidirectional device through experiments at real environments.
Development of Wearable Assistance Suite for Interaction with Ubiquitous Environment

The wearable computer that can understand the context of human life and intelligently communicate with various electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment would be very useful as an assistant for humans. In this paper we introduce an intelligent wearable assistance suite. The proposed wearable suite can interact with both humans and electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment. The developed system can sense the interactive electronic media that a user wants to use and also communicate with it. By utilizing these interaction capabilities, it intermediates between each media and the user and offers a friendlier interface to the user who wears this system. We also show the usages of the proposed system by demonstrating its interaction with the interactive electronic media in ubiquitous computing environment.
Emergency Situation Detection using Images from Surveillance Camera and Mobile Robot Tracking System

In this paper, we describe a method of detecting emergency situation using images from surveillance cameras and propose a mobile robot tracking system for detailed examination of that situation. We are able to track a few persons and recognize their actions by an analyzing image sequences acquired from a fixed camera on all sides of buildings. When emergency situation is detected, a mobile robot moves and closely examines the place where the emergency is occurred. In order to recognize actions of a few persons using a sequence of images from surveillance cameras images, we need to track and manage a list of the regions which are regarded as human appearances. Interest regions are segmented from the background using MOG(Mixture of Gaussian) model and continuously tracked using appearance model in a single image. Then we construct a MHI(Motion History Image) for a tracked person using silhouette information of region blobs and model actions. Emergency situation is finally detected by applying these information to neural network. And we also implement mobile robot tracking technology using the distance between the person and a mobile robot.
Integrated Logical Model Based on Sensor and Guidance Light Networks for Fire Evacuation

At the present time, buildings are designed higher and more complex than ever before. Therefore the potential disasters are happened such as fire, power outage, earthquake, flood, hurricanes. Their disasters require people inside buildings to be evacuated as soon as possible. This paper presents a new disaster evacuation guidance concept of inner buildings, whiche aims at integrated the constructing of a sensor network and a guidance light networks in order to provide a quick detection of disasters and accurate evacuation guidance based on indoor geo-information, and sends these instructions to people. In this paper, we present the integrated logical model based on sensor and guidance light networks for the fire disaster management in inner building using our concept. And we verify proposed logical model according to experiments with visualization and operations on map.
Image Surveillance System using Intelligence

Today, many studies are conducted on searching for criminals in railroad stations using intelligent surveillance system. In the 1st stage, this study conducted a simulation of the system which searches for a criminal using a DB containing information on former convicts (DB on high risk former convicts), when a crime has taken place in a railroad station. Then, in the 2nd stage, this study has developed a simulation that can search for people who is wearing the same color clothes as the criminal and are found near the station, once the color of clothes of the criminal has been entered.

In this paper, we suggested new additional data transmission technology for T-DMB system using MOK-SS(Mary Orthogonal Keying- Spread Spectrum)mapping method. We applied revised watermarking method of TxID(Transmitter Identification) technology mainly had been used for conventional ATSC-DTV(Advanced Television Systems Committee - Digital TV). And proposed schemes enhanced additional data rate using MOK-SS mapping method. We certified availability of our proposed technology by using various simulation and error rate performance analysis.
A Nonlinear Regression Analysis Method for Frame Erasure Concealment in VoIP Networks

Frame erasure is one of the most difficult problems in voice over IP (VoIP) networks and is a major source of speech quality degradation. In this paper, a frame erasure concealment algorithm based on nonlinear regression analysis is presented to minimize speech quality deterioration in code-excited linear prediction (CELP) based coders. We applied the proposed scheme to the ITU-T G.729 standard and obtained improved perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ) scores compared to the conventional methods.
UWB based MODEM Technology and RFIC Property Overview for Wireless Human Body Communication

In this paper, we propose a ZCD (Zero Correlation Duration) code based Ultra Wide Band(UWB) MODEM(modulation and demodulation) technique for WBAN as a hunman body wireless communication operating in WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network) environment. We certified ZCD code based UWB schemes are available for hunman body wireless communications by various simulation and performance analysis using WBAN transmission channels. Furthermore, we suggested some possibility of RFIC implementation related to human body based UWB communication module by presenting some related examples.
Audio Signal Processing using Parametric Array with KZK Model

Parametric array for audio applications is analyzed by numerical modeling and analytical approximation. The nonlinear wave equations are used to provide design guidelines for the audio parametric array. A time domain finite difference code that accurately solves the KZK (Khokhlov-Zabolotskaya-Kuznetsov) nonlinear parabolic wave equation is used to predict the response of the parametric array. The time domain code relates the source size and the carrier frequency to the audible signal response including the output level and beamwidth to considering the implementation issues for audio applications of the parametric array, the emphasis is given to the frequency response and distortion. We use the time domain code to find out the optimal parameters that will help produce the parametric array with highest achievable output in terms of the average power within the demodulated signal. Parameters such as primary input frequency, audio source radius and the modulation method are given utmost importance. The output effect of those parameters are demonstrated through the numerical simulation.
Automatic Control System in Room using Zigbee Sensor and Microcontroller Chip

Lately, superhigh speed network infra is developing with the fast speed, is evolved by step that existent appliances are digitalised and appliances are become remote control by being gear to network. Also, gearing in Home network and superhigh speed network infra, control appliances in Internet and research that do monitering is proceed. Therefore, describe about indoor environment automatic control system that use Wireless sensor and Microcontroler in this paper. Because using that electric power, Zigbee sensor and Wireless module, embodied system that measured in the room temperature and use ATmega128 Microcontroler and use each device (temperature, illumination, humidity) back in house and control humidifier, electric fan etc. Can use variously in Home network field by this Wireless sensor and Microcontroler base, and also can apply variously to several industry fields as well as Home network field.
High Capacity Steganographic Method

This paper proposes a high capacity data hiding method using modulus function of pixel-value differencing (PVD) and least significant bit (LSB) replacement method. Many novel data hiding methods based on LSB and PVD methods were presented to enlarge hiding capacity and provide an imperceptible quality. A small difference value for two consecutive pixels is belonged to a smooth area and a large difference one is located on an edge area. In our proposed method, the secret data are hidden on the smooth area by the LSB substitution method and PVD method on the edge area. From the experimental results, the proposed method sustains a higher capacity and still a good quality compared with other LSB and modified PVD methods.
Decision of Gaussian Function Threshold for Image Segmentation

Most image segmentation methods are to represent observed feature vectors at each pixel, which are assumed as appropriated probability models. These models can be used by statistical estimating or likelihood clustering algorithms of feature vectors. EM algorithms have some calculation problems of maximum likelihood for unknown parameters from incomplete data and maximum value in post probability distribution. First, the performance is dependent upon starting positions and likelihood functions are converged on local maximum values. To solve these problems, we mixed the Gausian function and histogram at all the level values at the image, which are proposed most suitable image segmentation methods. This proposed algoritms are confirmed to classify most edges clearly and variously, which are implemented to MFC programs.

In this paper, We define convert rules objects and relation presented in object model to the state and operation domain in formal specification. we implement simulation tool in order to verification method of formal specification and to consistency verified model between user's requirement. It is possible to select the suitable model and reduce the costs and efforts on software development.
A Implementation of Iris recognition system using scale-space filtering

In this paper, we introduce the implementation of the security system using iris recognition. This system acquires images with infrared camera and extracts the 2D code from a infrared image which uses scale-space filtering and concavity. We examine the system by (i) extract 2D code and (ii) compare the code that stored on the server (iii) mearsure FAR and FRR using pattern matching. Experiment results show that the proposed method is very suitable.
Similar sub-Trajectory Retrieval Technique based on Grid for Video Data

Recently, PCS, PDA and mobile devices, such as the proliferation of spread, GPS (Global Positioning System) the use of, the rapid development of wireless network and a regular user even images, audio, video, multimedia data, such as increased use is for. In particular, video data among multimedia data, unlike the moving object, text or image data that contains information about the movements and changes in the space of time, depending on the kinds of changes that have sigongganjeok attributes. Spatial location of objects on the flow of time, changing according to the moving object (Moving Object) of the continuous movement trajectory of the meeting is called, from the user from the database that contains a given query trajectory and data trajectory similar to the finding of similar trajectory Search (Similar Sub-trajectory Retrieval) is called. To search for the trajectory, and these variations, and given the similar trajectory of the user query (Tolerance) in the search for a similar trajectory to approximate data matching (Approximate Matching) should be available. In addition, a large multimedia data from the database that you only want to be able to find a faster time-effective ways to search different from the existing research is required. To this end, in this paper effectively divided into a grid to search for the trajectory to the trajectory of moving objects, similar to the effective support of the search trajectory offers a new grid-based search techniques.
Multi-variable Fuzzy Modeling for Combustion Control of Refuse Incineration Plant

In this paper, multi-variable fuzzy model for efficient combustion control of refuse incineration plant is obtained. First, to obtain model of incineration plant which is complex and nonlinear multi-variable fuzzy modeling is performed. Obtained multi-variable fuzzy model predicts outputs of incinerator almost exactly. Then using multi-variable fuzzy model we can build simulator which is used as operation simulator for building of control strategy and training of operator.
Dynamic Load Balancing Mechanism for MMORPG

Recently, Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) has become increasingly popular, which continue to increase the number of game player. The volume of the game world also has been extended on a large scale. Existing Map-based distributed server architecture divides the game world into the rectangular regions and allocates the registered player in each region to the server responsible for that region. Players tend to concentrate in certain regions of the game world, which makes some special server overloaded. This paper proposes to change the boundary between servers to solve such a unbalanced load problem. Our proposed method first finds the overloaded server and then searches for its neighboring lightest loaded server to share with the overload evenly. Finally we implemented performance evaluation to demonstrate the efficiency of this approach.
Sign Language recognition Using Sequential Ram-based Cumulative Neural Networks

The Weightless Neural Network(WNN) has the advantage of the processing speed, less computability than weighted neural network which readjusts the weight. Especially, The behavior information such as sequential gesture has many serial correlation. So, It is required the high computability and processing time to recognize. To solve these problem, Many algorithms used that added preprocessing and hardware interface device to reduce the computability and speed. In this paper, we proposed the Ram based Sequential Cumulative Neural Network(SCNN) model which is sign language recognition system without preprocessing and hardware interface. We experimented with using compound words in continuous korean sign language which was input binary image with edge detection from camera. The recognition system of sign language without preprocessing got 93% recognition rate.
Estimation of a Driver's Physical Condition Using Real-time Vision System

This paper presents a new algorithm for estimating a driver's physical condition using real-time vision system and performs experimentation for real facial image data. The system relies on a face recognition to robustly track the center points and sizes of person's two pupils, and two side edge points of the mouth. The face recognition constitutes the color statistics by YUV color space together with geometrical model of a typical face. The system can classify the rotation in all viewing directions, to detect eye/mouth occlusion, eye blinking and eye closure, and to recover the three dimensional gaze of the eyes. These are utilized to determine the carelessness and drowsiness of the driver. Finally, experimental results have demonstrated the validity and the applicability of the proposed method for the estimation of a driver's physical condition.
Face Detection based on Pupil Color Distribution Maps with the Frequency under the Illumination Variance

In this paper, a new face detection method based on pupil color distribution maps with the frequency under the illumination variance is proposed. Face-like regions are first extracted by applying skin color distribution maps to a color image and then, they are reduced by using the standard deviation of chrominance components. In order to search for eye candidates effectively, the proposed method extracts eye-like regions from face-like regions by using pupil color distribution maps. Furthermore, the proposed method is able to detect eyes very well by segmenting the eye-like regions, based on a lighting compensation technique and a segmentation algorithm even though face regions are changed into dark-tone due to varying illumination conditions. Eye candidates are then detected by means of template matching method. Finally, face regions are detected by using the evaluation values of two eye candidates and a mouth. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve a high performance.

The security of medical information need continued research about steady and flexible security model because of privacy of patient's as well as directly relation in the patient's life. In particular, u-healthcare environment is need flexible and detailed access control by variety changes of context. Control model analyzed relation of resource and authority, and analyzed authority about all accessible resource from access point using K2BASE. The context-based access control model can change flexibly authority change and role, and can obtain resource of authority granted and meaningly connected resource. As a result, this thesis can apply flexible and adaptive access control model at u-healthcare domain which context change various.

For obtaining high speed data rate, underwater acoustic communication has several problems by the different environmental problem compared to wireless communication. To overcome this problem, the research is going steadily. In this paper, the property of underwater acoustic channel is considered, and the explanation of recently various method of transmitting and receiving and the domestic and foreign trend of underwater acoustic communication are taken into account.
