Sensor nodes depend on batteries for energy source in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) is a representative cluster-based routing protocol designed to ensure energy use efficiency whereas the virtual cluster exchange routing (VCR) information only with its closest node to build a network. In this paper, a protocol scheme was proposed wherein member nodes are designed to compare the currently sensed data with the previously sensed one and to switch to sleep mode when a match is achieved. The design is to help improve the transmission energy efficiency too.
A Study on Reuse Technique of Software for SaaS Using Process Algebra

SaaS provides software hosted on the cloud computing in a form of service. Thus, it enables the extension of service functions by combining or reusing the existing software. As an analysis technique, this paper suggests a method of verifying the reusability of a process by analyzing it with the process algebra. The suggested method can confirm the reusability of existing software, ensure the consistency of modifications by tenants or requests, and provide probabilities of combining processes.

In oriental medicine, the pulse beats are important signals that may let us know the conditions of one's health and disease. In other words, doctors of oriental medicine can simply analyze pulse waves anywhere and anytime to treat patients without using high-priced medical appliances. However, they are largely subjective in interpreting the pulse rates and hence their reliability is far from being perfect. The current paper aims to solve this problem by using fuzzy inference rules in judging patients' health status and to develop a software kit of intelligent electronic needles.

Precision agriculture relies on information technology, whose precondition is providing real-time and accurate information. It depends on various kinds of advanced sensors, such as environmental temperature and humidity, wind speed, light intensity, and other types of sensors. Currently, it is a hot topic how to collect accurate information, the main raw data for agricultural experts, monitored by these sensors timely. Most existing work in WSNs addresses their fundamental challenges, including power supply, limited memory, processing power and communication bandwidth and focuses entirely on their operating system and networking protocol design and implementation. However, it is not easy to find the self-localization capability of wireless sensor networks. Because of constraints on the cost and size of sensors, energy consumption, implementation environment and the deployment of sensors, most sensors do not know their locations. This paper provides maximum likelihood estimators for sensor location estimation when observations are time-of arrival (TOA) range measurement.
Quality of service management for intelligent systems

A control application requirements currently used is very low, such as packet loss rate, minimum delay on sensor networks with quality of service (QoS) requirements some packet delivery guarantee. This paper is the sampling period at the end of the actuator and sensor data transfer related to the Miss ratio for each source sensor node, use the controller and the internal ANFIS. The proposed scheme has the advantages of simplicity, scalability, and General. Simulation results of the proposed scheme can provide QoS support in WSANs.
