An Empirical Study on the e-Service Quality of Public Administration Considered CRM

An Empirical study was done for finding the e-service quality of public administration focused on customer relationship management(CRM). The e-service quality of public administration was categorized as system quality, information quality, service quality, and CRM after doing a literature review in e-service quality and public administration. The validity and reliability of a questionnaire were examined through factor analysis and regression analysis was done using the customer satisfaction and efficiency improvement of public administration as dependent variables and the 7 factor scores from the factor analysis as independent variables. The results show for that 6 factors are not only very important in explaining the customer satisfaction but also partially important for efficiency improvement of public administration. In particular, CRM has significant effect on both customer satisfaction and efficiency improvement of public administration.
The Effects of Mobile Service on University Performance

Today most customers are networked via wired or wireless media. They receive more information than ever before so become clever with valuable information. Under ubiquitous environment, most organizations are struggling to achieve the competitive edge over other organizations. Like others, University has the same problems to meet clients' needs to become being competitive. Most universities are struggling to find the answer how to develop effective campus service systems considering existing or new information systems with very new to well-known high technologies available to them. The research is to provide meaningful thoughts by analyzing empirical data and provide meaning information for University being competitive with IS and mobile campus related decisions.
Causal Relationship between Organizational Performances and Influential Factors on Information System Ages

The e-business strategies ultimately pursue creating the maximal value for customers through the competitive advantages and business opportunities newly created on the basis of information technologies. For the realization of e-business strategies, the successful implementation and operation of e-business system must be the crucial activities in and out of an organization. Therefore, in physical world, there were lots of interests that what kind of key factors can lead the success of e-business system. Moreover, in the field of academia also, there have been many research results for investigating and finding out the key success factors for e-business system. However, the perceptual level of the significance of key success factors that organization members perceive can be changed over each phase of system life cycle such phases as introduction, growth, maturity, and decline. This study investigated that there might be significant differences in the perceptual level regarding importance of success factors among phases of system life cycle.
A Study on the Effect of the Information System Audit Fidelity on the Customer Satisfaction and Project Performance

This research is to suggest the factor which is effecting on the information system audit fidelity in the perspective of audit procurer, to develop the measure to evaluate it, to investigate the audit performance and project performance for comparison the audit fidelity between the audit teams. As the analysis results, we found that the audit service factors can be divided to the expert knowledge of auditor and the project attributes itself. It means these factors are the major measures for the audit fidelity. In this research, the hypothesis of this study model is verified throughout the factor and corelation analysis, and the structured equation model is applied. Analysis results show that all relations between the factors are significant statistically. The audit service factors has an effect on audit fidelity. Also the information system audit fidelity can be affect on the project performance, audit performance and customer satisfaction. So, in conclusion, we need to judge closely the audit service factors affecting the audit fidelity for the enhancement of the project performance, audit performance and customer satisfaction.
Design and Implementation of a Collaborative Software Development Management System

Since software development team members have been more geographically spread due to the globalization of business and Internet technologies, the management of deliverables and communication efforts for developing high-quality software products on time is becoming more complicated. Among the functional requirements for collaborative software development management, the manipulation of shared information objects is essential for the collaborative work among distributed development team members. This paper proposes an integrated information object management framework comprised of a so-called BOC (Bill Of Class) scheme and a standardized software part dictionary for managing shared information objects efficiently among distributed co-workers. In order to manage these complex information objects, the proposed framework adopt product structures represented by Bills Of Materials (BOM) as stems for integrating the various information objects. Based on the proposed framework, a collaborative software development management system (CSDMS) is implemented, and the functionalities and the structure of the system are also described in this paper. The proposed system provides sufficient functionalities for the change management of information objects and the management of their relationship to other objects rather than existing system.
Structure, Process, Relational Mechanism on IT Governance Activities in Korean Service Company: A Comparative Case

More emphasis has recently been put on the strategic application of IT, the linkage and integration between information system, and business process for value increase of a company's business. Thus, it is high time to redefine the concept of IT governance in order to effectively manage various IT services and assets. However, less attention has been paid to the practical study of domestic firms, compared to in the academic and industrial level. In this study, the current situation of IT governance setup and various factors for future development will be examined by a case study to explore activities, types, and determinants of decision making process that companies are currently conducting regarding IT governance. For the purpose of comparative analysis, two large enterprises were chosen with similar size of sales and high investment rate for IT within the same industry, and in-depth analysis was conducted based on the interviews of the concerned parties and in-house materials, from the perspective of structure, process, and relational mechanism. By the case study on IT governance of company 'A' and 'B', decision making mechanism and factors will be analyzed, which will indicate detailed characteristics of each decision-making field and its components for general application. By doing so, it is expected to be used as reference in building IT governance that fits the environment of a firm in the future.
Development of Adoption Strategy and Guideline of Business Process Management Standards: Focusing on Business Process Execution Language

The objectives of this study is to develop a strategy for the adoption of BPM(Business Process Management) standards and an implementation guideline of the BPM standard for BPM solution developers focusing on BPEL(Business Process Execution Language) which is regarded as the most important BPM standard. In the heterogeneous and distributed IT environments, every type of enterprise software requires standards to enhance interoperability. BPMS(Business Process Management System), which is a type of enterprise software requires BPM standards such as BPEL(Business Process Execution Language), BPMN(Business Process Modeling and Notation), BPQL(Business Process Query Language) and so on to achieve multi-system interoperability and component interoperability with their BPM solutions. It is quite helpful to provide the adoption strategy concerning BPM standards for each type of BPM solution vendors who need the BPM standards. Since the BPEL is conceived as the most important BPM standard and widely adopted by many BPM vendors, we have proposed a reference architecture for BPEL implementation and also developed the detail implementation guideline of core components of the BPM system supporting the BPEL standard. Using the strategy and implementation guideline proposed in this work, BPM solution vendors can establish their own standard adoption strategy and they can also develop their BPM solutions supporting the BPM standards more efficiently.
A Study on Restructuring of the Marine Products Value Chain and the Development of E-commerce Trading Systems in the Ubiquitous Environment

In general, the distribution structure of marine products is very vulnerable to the uncertainties in the process from the production to the sale, and a lot of difficulty is thus inevitable in the supply control. Such a distribution structure is a very critical issue in securing the suability of marine products through systematic quality and hygiene control of marine products, and it is thus time to discuss the method to innovate and restructuring the distribution structure of marine products. From this point of view, this study approached the flow from production to consumption in view of SCM(supply chain management) beyond the partial discussion conducted so far for the distribution structure in the field of marine products. Further, this study suggested the establishment of electronic commerce systems with a traceability system built in RFID for marine products as an alternative of redesigning distribution infrastructure in the ubiquitous environment. From the results, we assured that such an electronic commerce system would be a new measure to improve the structure currently causing inefficiency and excessive distribution cost for the distribution structure of marine products.
3 Leveled Viewed Classification and Definition of Service Type for SOA

SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) can be a technique to make compassable software from mapping business service to software component. To support effective SOA, it is important that services have to be defined or classified more independently for dynamic and reusable composition. Several methods have been issued but no ways to defined service granularities, service type or service unit. In this paper we introduce 3 level views, service level, service granularity to reuse effectively. And, we suggest service definition guidelines using them.
Design of Product-Line Architecture based-on Common Architecture

Software product line is a software product or a set of software system, which has common functions. We can develop a specific software product, which satisfies requirements of a particular market segment and a mission in a specific domain by reusing the core asset such as the developed software architecture through the software product line. Software development methodology based on the software product line can develop a software more easily and fast by reusing the developed software core asset. Developed countries of software technology select software product line as a core field of software production technology, and support technology development. In case of USA, CMU/SEI(Carnegie Mellon University/Software Engineering Institute) developed product-line framework 4.0 together with the industry and the Department of Defense. Europe is supporting the development of product line technology through ITEA(IT for European Advancement) program. However, industries in our country understand the necessity of software production technology based on product line concept for the purpose of increasing productivity, it is not sufficient to invest for this technology development. In this paper, we aim to construct the common architecture of software product line for production of the software product line.
A Study of a Scheme to Assess and Improve ESB-based SOA Applications from the S/W Architecture Perspective

In both inside and outside of our country, the interest of the new generation S/W architecture, the SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) is whooped up. We expect that the SOA will become general S/W architecture in several years, but the most compaines of S/W Industry still think that the SOA have much risk to adapt as their s/w architecture. In this paper, We performed the senario based verification of the SOA quantitatively and qualitatively, and presented the validity of the S/W architecture view and the method of adoption of the SOA.
A Case Study of SW Development Productivity Improvement by MDD/MDA Technology Application in CBD Project

MDD/MDA which recently raising its head is technology that increase software development productivity through automatic transformation form higer abstract model into lower abstract model, or from model to code. This paper analyzes the effect on productivity by measuring Function Point per MM(man-month) in a software development project which performed in CBD methodology, and introduce the method of applying MDD/MDA technology in the project.
Requirements Analysis and Verification of Guiding Robots for Visually Impaired Person

This study assumed that the best road guidance system for the vision impaired is a robot and analyzed and verified the requirements of road guidance system. In order to do so, the characteristics and inconveniences of the vision impaired as passengers and pedestrians were examined and their reactions to warnings and dangerous situations were analyzed. Users' needs and robots' functional requirements were applied to analyze the requirements of road guidance system. To verify whether the proposed requirements would be applied to robots effectively, a service scenario was used.
A Methodology for Developing RFID Applications: RAM

Most of the known RFID applications are derived from RFID technology and its functionalities not business analysis or requirements, so that companies may not obtain real competitive edges by implementing RFID application systems. Developing successful RFID applications is one of the key elements for prevailing RFID use by industries. Research objective is to propose an effective methodology for developing RFID applications based on analyzing business processes. The approach is designed to figure out both technical and business requirements related to RFID applications based on BPR (Business process reengineering) and ISP (Information strategy planning) methodologies. To verify the effectiveness of our approach, we applied the proposed approach to real field cases. As RFID technologies get flourished, the proposed approach is expected to play a meaningful role as an effective tool for developing new RFID applications.
