The Development of a New Distributed Multiobjective Evolutionary Algorithm with an Inherited Age Concept

Recently, several promising multiobjective evolutionary algorithm such as SPEA. NSGA-II, PESA, and SPEA2 have been developed. In this paper, we also propose a new multiobjective evolutionary algorithm that compares to them. In the algorithm proposed in this paper, we introduce a novel concept, “inherited age” and total algorithm is executed based on the inherited age concept. Also, we propose a new sharing algorithm, called objective classication sharing algorithm(OCSA) that can preserve the diversity of the population. We will show the superior performance of the proposed algorithm by comparing the proposed algorithm with other promising algorithms for the test functions.
Design of Intelligent State Diagnosis System for TMS Using

We design the intelligent diagnosis system for deciding on operation of TMS Analysis in this paper. We propose the method to model the neuro-fuzzy model for diagnosing the operation state of analyzer by using input and output signals of TMS and Expert's experiment data. Validity of the proposed system is asserted by numerical simulation.
Neural Network System Implementation Based on MVL-Automate Model

Recently, the research on intelligence of computer has actively been under way in various areas and gradually extended to adapt to uncertain and complex environments. In this paper, we propose the MVL-Neural Valued Logic. Also, we verify that the MVL-Automata can be implemented to Neural Network and the MVL-Neural Network Model can be a simulator by MVL-Automata. Therefore, we propose that the MVL-Neural Network Model can be widely used in such area, as intelligent system or modeling of brain. In particular, the MVL-Neural Network is expected to be used as core technology of next generation computer.
The Decision Algorithm for Driving Intension Using Moduled Neural Network

Recently, most vehicles has the Automatic transmission system as their transmission system. The automatic transmission system operates with fixed shift patterns. In the opposite of manual operation, it is easy and convenient for driving. Though these merit, the system can not evaluate the driver s intension because of usage of fixed shift pattern. To consider driver s intension, we must consider both the driving intensity of driver and the status of vehicle. In this paper, we developed flexible automatic transmission system by using the proposed moduled neural networks which can learn the status of th vehicle and driver s intensity. As a results, we compare the transmission system using fixed shift pattern and the proposed transmission system and show the good performance in the change of shift position.

On the Derivation of TSK Fuzzy Model for Nonlinear Differentical Equations

Derivation of TSK fuzzy model from nonlinear differential equation is fundamental issue in the field of theoretical fuzzy control. The method which does not yield affine local differential equations at off-equilibrium points is proposed in this paper. A prototype TSK fuzzy model which has triangular membership functions for linguistic terms of the antecedent part is derived systematically. And then GA is used to modify the membership functions optimally. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed method.

A Study on the Spread Spectrum Watermarking Method

In this paper, we propose the new audio watermarking method and can be used on line processing. Instead of the wavelet transform, we use the integer wavelet transform for the reduction of the computational load. The watermark associated with the chi-square distribution is inserted into the signal on the integer wavelet domain. When extracting the watermark, the spread spectrum methods are used with the coefficients associated with the covariance sequence. We show that the chi-square distribution is a good tool for the spread spectrum method on the wavelet domain. This watermarking technique may be sued for the control of the electrical product which can be controlled with the hidden signals and can be moved according to the audible signals simultaneously.

In this paper, we consider performance assessment methods of mathematics and investigate some difficulties which teachers have been grading of performance assessment of mathematics. And also, using fuzzy theory, we define fuzzy grade sheets for performance assessment of mathematics and discuss some usefulness and simple examples of this new definition.
A Study on Embodiment of Evolving Cellular Automata Neural Systems using Evolvable Hardware

In this paper, we review the basic concept of Evolvable Hardware first. And we examine genetic algorithm processor and hardware reconfiguration method and implementation. By considering complexity and performance of hardware at the same time, we design genetic algorithm processor using modularization and parallel processing method. And we design frame that has connection structure and logic block on FPGA, and embody reconfigurable hardware that do so that this frame may be reconstructed by RAM. Also we implemented ECANS that information processing system such as living creatures'brain using this hardware reconfiguration method. And we apply ECANS which is implemented using the concept of Evolvable Hardware to time-series prediction problem in order to verify the effectiveness.
A Design of GA-based TSK Fuzzy Classifier and Its Application

In this paper, we propose a TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-Kang)-type fuzzy classifier using PCA(Principal Component Analysis), FCM(Fuzzy c-Means) clustering, ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) and hybrid GA(Genetic Algorithm). First, input data is transformed to reduce correlation among the data components by PCA. FCM clustering is applied to obtain a initial TSK-type fuzzy classifier. Parameter identification is performed by AGA(Adaptive GA) and RLSE(Recursive Least Square Estimate). Finally, we applied the proposed method to Iris data classificationl problems and obtained a better performance than previous works.

Design and Implementation of a PCI-based Parallel Fuzzy Inference System

In this paper, we propose a novel PCI bus based parallel fuzzy inference system for transferring and inferencing the large volumes of fuzzy data in high speed. For this, the PCI 9050 interface chip is used to connect a local bus design as a PCI target core using FPGA to the PCI bus. We design and implement the PCI target core by using VHDL to be processed in parallel by considering the points of parallelyzing each element of the membership functions and each block of the condition and/or consequent parts. The proposed system can be used in a system requiring a rapid inference time in a real-time system or pattern recognition on the large volume of satellite images that have many inference variables in the condition and consequent parts.
Missile Adaptive Control using T-S Fuzzy Model

In this paper, in order to control uncertain missile autopilot, an adaptive fuzzy control(AFC) scheme via parallel distributed compensation(PDC) is developed for the multi-input/multi -output plants represented by the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy model. Moreover adaptive law is designed so that the plant output tracks the stable reference model(SRM). From the simulations results, we can conclude that the suggested scheme can effectively solve the control problems of uncertain missile systems based on T-S fuzzy model.
