Corrsion of Ni-Ze Electrodeposited Alloy

Corrosion behavior of 5-26wt% Ni-Zn electrodeposited alloys was investigated by means of dipping electrochmical polarization measurement and galvanic coupling test. The weight loss and anodic polarization curve of coatings were measured by means of dipping and polarization measurement respectively. The galvanic protection effect of alloy coatings was measured by galvanic coupling test and the surface morpholgy of coatings was observed after corrosion testing. Our findings support thous of previous investigations showing that
single phase coatings, while galvanic pprotection effect of dual phase coatings improved in comparison with
single phase coating. The formation of colony in coating of
dual phsae caused the localized corrsion and increased the corrosion rate of the Ni-Zn coating.
The Effect of Carbon on the Hot Corrosion of lron by Sulfur Containing Environment.

The high temperature corrosion of Fe-C alloys were studied at I atm SO gas in the temperature range 500~80
by means of a thermogravimetric analysis. The Na2SO4 induced high tempwrature corrosion rate was also measured at atm O2 gas under above the temperature renge. The reaction products were identified with the aid of X-ray diffraction technique, and micostruction of the alloy/scale interface was observed with a optical microscope and SEM. The experimental results were disussed by the themodeynamic calcutions. Under above the experimental condition. the reaction rates decrbon with increasing carbon content. The transfer of Fe ion was limited by a residue of carbon precipitated at alloy scale interface due to the oxidation of Fe-C alloys at alloy surface. The effect of cold working on reaction rate was different between the Fe containing low carbon and Fe-C Alloy containing carbon above 0,73 wt%. In a cold worked iron containing low carbon content, the crystallization of metal surface leads to the poor adherence between the alloy and the cavity formed between the alloy and scale. The outward diffusion of ion through the scale is estimated to be hindered by the cavity formed between the scale, consequently decreasing reaction rate. In the case Fe-C containing carbon above 0.73 Wt% alloy, the reaction rate was little affected by cold working, because the effect of content on reaction rats is greater than the effect of cold working.
Growth Behavior of Condutive Polyaniline Film on a Platinum by Electrochemical Oxidation(I)

To know the growth behavior of Conductive polyaniline file, the anodic oxidation of anilien on a platiunm in aqueous sulfuric acid solution has been studied. Cyclic votammetry and currenttime transisents method used to investigate the anodic oxidation of aniline to polyaniline films on a platinum. The oxidation of aniline is shown to occur in several steps dependent on the potential. it the phase growth resembles the deposition of a metal film.
A New Mechanish of Bright Plating on the Ground of Analysis of Rate Nucleafion and Growth

The bright nickel electroplatings were carried out the Watt bath containg a solobel saccharin as class I brightner and para substituted benzaldehydes as class II one. Extended Huckel MO calculation was done and polarization was measured to examine between
-electron density and the brightness. The correlation is also investigated between
-electron density of oxygen atom of aldehyde group and slope of polarization curve. As a result of the analysis of rate equation of nucleation, the surface energy of the deposited particle was obtained from the slope of the plot of
nI against 1/η2, and also the reat equation of nucleation found to influnced on the leveling on the basis of adsorption theory. We have proposed the general electroplating mechanism that is applied other to all other electroplating but nickel one. The above elucidated mechanism can be extended can be extended to the all electroplating other than bright nickel electroplating.
Review on recent ion-plating system for an industrial use
