Manufacturing Ti-Alloy Frames of Classes with High-Precision Laser Beam Welding

An attempt was made to develop commercially pure titanium frames of glasses with a high-precision laser beam welding machine, in which a resonator with 12kw of the peak power and 200 W of maximum mean power has the capacity of variable in the range of 0.08~10 ms pulse width. In addition the optical fiber beam transmission with 400
of the core diameter and a weld chamber to contain specimens in the inert gas atmosphere were also designed and used. In the present study. titanium frames of glasses parts such as temple plus spring hinge. bridge and top bar were experimentally manufactured by utilizing the optimum welding parameters with the optical fiber of GI 400
, 2.9J energy per pulse, and focussing position for Tee and butt joints. The titanium welded joints with laser beam welding did not reveal any severe weld defects or weld bead appearance except some pores in the weld section.
A Study on the State feedback with Integral Control for a Variable Air Volume Unit

State feedback with integral control for a variable air volume(VAV) unit which is recently taken notice of for the energy efficiency and saving in the building is studied to investigate the performance of the digital control methodology for the possible practical application. The digital controller which acquires the targat zone temperature and the air flow rate of the supplied air to the zone controls the opening of the damper in the VAV unit. Simulation results are performed for the conditions including reference changes and external thermal variations. In the simulation. simplified conditioned zone and the damper actuator modelling is considered. and relationships between controller gain Parameters and the system dynamics are investigated.
A Study on the Development of a Hydraulic Damper using Semi-Active Viscous Damping

In this paper, hydraulic damper was studied to solve vibration problems of bridge, structures and several mechanic parts rising magnetic fluid. The damper was modeled using Magneto Rheological fluid and MR damper was manufactured on the basis of design drawing. To investigate the efficacy of magneto rheological phenomenon. experiments were performed on the several design parameters using Universal Testing Machine(UTM). Damping efficacy were examined by frequencies. displacement and electric currents through experiments.
A Study on the Flow Forming Process to Develop the Main Part of Auto Transmission of Automobile

Flow forming is a chipless metal forming method for axi-symmetric parts, which is more economical. efficient and versatile method of producing parts than the other sheet metal forming process such as stamping or deep drawing. In this study, flow forming process with 1-Roller is applied to produce auto-transmission parts of automobiles which have been produced by Press drawing process so far. It can be known that flow forming process is applicable to the flexible manufacturing system due to the low cost for the establishment and it can be combined with press forming process to promote productivity and to improve the accuracy of products.
A Study on the Improvement of Image Quality for a Thermal Imaging System with focal Plane Array Typed Sensor

Thermal imaging system is implemented for the measurement and the analysis of the thermal distribution of the target objects. The main Part of the system is thermal camera in which a focal plane array typed sensor is introduced The sensor detects mid-range infrared spectrum or target objects and then it output generic video signal which should be processed to form a thermal image frame. A digital signal processor(DSP) in the system inputs analog to digital converted data. performs algorithms to improve the thermal images and then outputs the corrected frame data to frame buffers for NTSC encoding and for digital outputs.. To enhance the quality of the thermal images, two point correction method is applied. Figures indicate that the corrected thermal images are much improved.
The Development of Absorption Elements of Ceramic Rotors for the Semiconductor Clean Room System

The Development of an Automatic Shooting Range System Using CAN

Recently, the requirement of automation in the every fields of the industrial places has been increased remarkably. The shooting range systems in the Past have been designed on the basis of static circumstance. However, Various transformation of the shooting circumstances is required, since the target for real shooting situation not static. In this study we have established for targets Per one shooting line to realize the dynamic shooting circumstance, distributed shooting order into sequence and random ones. and accommodated the shooting time variably. And, we have done an efficient communication possible, using CAN(Controller Area Network) applied to a lot of the car and the building automation. The CAN can support real-time control efficiently by connecting multiple ECU(Electric Control Unit), since it provide the high data transfer rate and the stability of communication.
The Development of a learning Control Method for the Application to Industrial Robots

In this paper, we show that our previously proposed second-order iterative learning control method with feedback is more effective and has better convergence performance than the second-order iterative learning control method without feedback, particularly in the case of the existence of initial condition errors. Also the convergence proof of the proposed method is given. And through the simulation result of applying the proposed method to the linear time-varying system, we show that our proposed method has enhanced robustness and stability in case of the existence of initial condition errors.

) . Firstly, optimum conditions for TCE degradation were examined in this study. Results showed that optimum loading amount of catalyst was 0.1 wt% and recirculation flow rate of mixture(distilled water and TCE) was 200 cc/min. Secondly, the effect of
structure on TCE degradation was examined. Results revealed that anatase structure generally has better photocatalytic activity than rutile structure. Especially, mixed structure(Degussa P25-
) has the highest activity due to small particle size and large specific surface area.

The Integrated Information System of Small Business Industry for Computerization and Automation

The area of informatization in small business industry consists of production automation. management automation, and network. This paper mainly deals with the management automation which uses management information systems. Functionally speaking, there are four broad categories such as manufacturing, marketing. human resource, and accounting. However, since most of small business industries emphasize more on the manufacturing and marketing, an integrated information system with these two core processes has been developed based on object-oriented methodology. The system, one of the important steps in the stage model this paper proposes, has not only simple and essential features ensuring easy implementation, but also friendly interface and good modularity based on the object-oriented paradigm.
The Recycling of Waste Asphalt Concrete Mixfure Using a Movable Asphalt Recycling Machine

Recently, the quantities of waste asphalt concrete at construction sites have much increased greatly. but maintaining a filling-up and final disposal place is a difficult problem. Therefore, we are faced with a worsening environmental problem brought about present illegal measures. So, safety treatment and recycling of construction waste is a very important question in the Preservation of environmental and natural resources In this study we performed fundamental investigation to manufacture the base recycling asphalt mixture by movable asphalt recycling machine. It contained waste asphalt concrete and recycling agent and its quality was equal to virgin asphalt concrete.
An Empirical Study on Variables Affecting Warrant Pricing of Japan

Warrants are often described as call potions written tv firms on their own stock. However, a call option is a pure side bet; i.e., none of the cash flows associated with the call's sale or exercise involves the firm. Issuing warrants on the other hand, can affect the firm's aggregate level of investment, composition of its capital structure. and the price of the stock on which warrant can be exercised. The problem of the warrant pricing can be solved by using of multivariate data analysis techniques, such as regression analysis or discriminant analysis, instead of OPM. The value of this approach is that we can evlauate the relative importance of each independent variable which affect a price of a warrant. This study empirically examines the Japanese warrant pricing by multiple regression analysis using a sample or 300 observations traded on Tokyo Stock Exchange during the periods between 1995 and 1996.
