CAD/CAM Script Application Techniques for Addition Axial Application of CNC M/C

In order to improve in quality and productivity using the CNC machine tools, it has been endeavored to elevate production process by adding supplementary axes(2 axes) to 2,3 axial CNC machine tools. It is because the movement between the progress of work in processed goods is remarkably decreased more than that of general CNC machine tools that productivity improvement with precision maintenance can be improved. VBScript in CAD/CAM is applied to utilize CNC machine tools added supplementary axes so that Multi-axial &Multi-process manufacturin g program can be conveniently drawn up. However, there is generally much skilful work and operation by the manual program of CAD(2.5D) and CNC machine tools in the filed. As a result of conducting an experiment by COM-filing VBScript at the spot of Insert Tip for milling Face Cutter in CAD/CAM Software(2.5D), it was not only timesaving to draw up program but also more convenient than complicated Multi CAD/CAM Software to approach and possible to program various products instantaneously.
Study on the 3D Design of Bracket with Automatic Module

In this study, the bracket for car was designed in 3D using Cimatron Die Design, one of the automatic modules. To facilitate the stamping of the product, the layout of the strip was adjusted slightly. The blank layout of the double-width, 2-line, 2-pull out inner carrier was then optimized as a single arrangement. 3D design was completed in 11 processes.

Two frequency-reconfigurable antennas have been designed and combined in a space with limited volume, i.e., 40mm
6mm. Each antenna can be reconfigured to operate at different frequency bands depending on the state of an embedded switch, which is implemented using a PIN diode. The first antenna can be switched between 0.82GHz
0.96GHz band (GSM/ CDMA) and 1.7GHz
2.17GHz band (DCS/ PCS/ WCDMA), which are cellular bands. The second antenna can be switched between 3.4GHz
3.6GHz band (mWiMax) and 2.3GHz
5.35GHz bands (WiBro/ WLAN 11a/b/g/n), which are connectivity bands. The proposed combined antenna operates both over cellular bands and connectivity bands concurrently. The choice of the operation bands is made independently by the states of the two switches.
Effects of Aging Process in Kinetic Movement of Charged Paticles

We analyze voltage characteristics of charged particle type display according to particle layers and cell gap between two electrodes and ascertain the aging effects by measuring the response time of particles with and without aging process. The threshold/driving/breakdown voltage is proportional to layers of charged particles and cell gap and the response time at driving voltage is faster than that of threshold and breakdown voltage because of different q/m of color and black particles. The analysis of response time is a method of estimation of optical characteristics, driving voltage and particle lumping and these results are promoted by aging process. We use the laser and photodiode to measure response time and optical properties. It has not been studied and reported to analyze the relationship of response time, threshold/driving/breakdown voltage, lumping phenomena, cell gap, and aging process for charged particle type display.
A design of Low Pass Filter using the equivalent circuit of T-junction microstrip line

In this paper, the Low Pass Filter (LPF) using the equivalent circuit of T-junction microstrip line is proposed. And we derived the formulas for lumped-elements of the equivalent circuit of T-junction microstrip line to solve the frequency shift characteristic. T-junction microstrip line is de-embedded by Electromagnetic simulation tool and exact lumped element value of T-junction microstrip line is calculated by the equation of Z-parameter. We can get excellent agreement between lumped-element LPF frequency response and transmission line LPF frequency response.
A study on a moving characteristics of charged particle in uniform electric field of Charged Particle type Display

In this paper, we studied on a characteristic of movement of charged particle in equal electric field. In order to fabricate a panel, we used positive charged toner particles of black and negative one of yellow. Panel was biased rectangle pulse without any overshoot. Also, panel's optical characteristics with contrast ratio and viewing angle is measured with RT-200. Response time was measure by using incident laser and detective photodiode. The distribution of m/q of particles by driving in panel throughout the contrast ratio and response time. As a results, driving voltage, contrast ratio, and response time are decided by m/q of charged particles and when m/q of charged particles in panel have regular distribution, it is induce improvement driving characteristics.
Efficient Test Wrapper Design in SoC

We present the efficient test wrapper design methodology considering the layout distance of scan chain. To test the scan chains in SoC, the scan chains must be assigned to external TAM(Test Access Mechanism) lines. The scan chains in IP were placed and routed without any timing violation at normal mode. However, in test mode, the scan chains have the additional layout distance after TAM line assignment, which can cause the timing violation of flip-flops in scan chains. This paper proposes a new test wrapper design considering layout distance of scan chains with timing violation free.

This paper proposed a tunable band pass filter. It is two-poles direct capacitive coupled resonator band pass filter which the capacitors of parallel resonators are changed by varactor diodes. The DC bias controls to change the value of capacitance in the parallel resonator for tunning the pass band. To validate the proposed design method, we fabricated the band pass filter which has tunable center frequency from 200MHz to 245MHz.
Relation between sound pressure level and auditory distance perception in anechoic room

According to a lot of investigations, distance perception is influenced by many important cues such as sound pressure level, reflections from the room surface, binaural difference (ITD and ILD), a kind of sound source, and head related transfer functions (HRTF). Two psychoacoustical experiments on auditory distance perception were conducted to examine the effectiveness of the sound pressure level loudness as one of the physical cues in the auditory distance perception under a constant loudspeaker's output level and a constant sound level at the subject's position in the absence of reflections in an anechoic room. Our experimental results showed that the perceived distance of sound image is closer than actual sound source distance with the constant loudspeaker's output level and the constant sound level. Futhermore, the perceived distance of a sound image with constant sound level increased when the actual distance increases up to approximately 2 m while the perceived distance saturated when the sound source distance exceed 2 m. On the other hand, when the condition of loudspeaker's output level was kept constantly, the perceived distance of sound image increased up to around 3m, longer than the conditions of constant sound level at the subject's position. We found that the change in the loudness as a function of distance plays an important role in the auditory distance perception in the absence of reflections..

A design method of network Topology for Integrated Management of various Networks is prposed and an example is shown. The TMN-DCN devices are assigned for each of the various networks. These devices have functions of network management. Also we propose the simple design methods of the network topology with survivability as one of the network management elements. The design methods are very simple but very useful. Because there is no general design algorithm for optimal topology with network survivability.
A Study on Efficiency Improvement of USN Logistics Management System applied Pipelining Techniques

Many studies are being applied for various parts of USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technology. The world's large retail stores and warehouses that apply logistic management are also studied. With this, USN technology is increasing in its utilization. However, to handle and process real-time data will never be never easy if these huge warehouses are using too many sensors, and real-time data correction is almost impossible. Software implementation and high-speed hardware are insufficient to solve these complex problems. To solve this problem, a key solution is to implement high-speed software. Hence, this paper suggests a USN logistics management system that applies pipelining techniques for efficiency in real-time data correction and reduces errors of generated values.
The Development of Automatic Ontology Generation System Using Extended Search Keywords

Ontologies, which are the core of the Semantic Web, are usually limited by specific domains or created by defining meanings and relationships that depend on the heuristic. However, the creation of an ontology is not only very difficult but also very time-consuming. In contrast with ontologies that are used in specific fields, an ontology for the Web entails an unlimited scope of knowledge and expression of information. Hence, it is hard to express information in the same way that is used to create ontologies in specific fields. Therefore, the automatic generation of an ontology takes very important role in the Semantic Web. In this paper, to make ontologies automatically, we suggest the methods to create and renew ontologies by expanding keywords related to the index-terms which are extracted from the search keywords which users input in the search engines by analyzing the morphemes.
Development of Auto-Masking Puretone Audiometer supporting Multiple Modes

Puretone audiometer, which is a machine used for measuring the minimum hearing threshold, can be cost-effectively implemented using computer with sound card and software. In this paper, we describe a puretone audiometer which has been designed and implemented based on a general PC with sound card. It supports air conduction and bone conduction test taking with automatic masking. It also provides multiple modes consisted of self-test, auto-test and manual test mode. Such multiple modes makes it possible to use in various environments like as home and/or hospital. Through measure of waveform of output voltage and sound pressure, we verified that puretone audiometer of this paper properly operates.
Mobile phone payment system using a light signal

In this paper, we proposed a mobile phone payment system using light signal containing payment related information. The digicard system we proposed creates virtual mobile card such as credit numbers and the created information is loaded in mobile phone. The virtual card information should be changed to pulse signal by light signal devices of mobile phone and the specific digicard system reader is able to read light signal. In recent years, a mobile phone payment system has been developed in order to provide user's convenience. But the mobile phone payment system has problems such as the production costs and complex and large size. In order to solve the aforementioned problems, we proposed mobile phone payment system being implemented by updating software without additional hardware modules. Therefore it is possible to apply the proposed digicard system to all kinds of mobile phone. Also encryption module is implemented to solve the problem of the security and privacy. According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a mobile phone payment system using a light signal containing payment-related information, comprising: a mobile phone; a photo receiver: and a control server.
Development of Analysis Software for Railway Vehicle Event Recorder

Recently, to analyze the cause of the railway accident objectively and quickly and prevent the accident, many countries are legislating for the installation of the black box what we call an event recorder, which records information about the operation of railway vehicle. Thus, the study of the event recorder has been in progress. Moreover, the analysis software that can analyze and express the stored data in the event recorder is required for the correct decision on the accident. Therefore, in this paper, we presented a design of analysis software which analyzes the data, plays the audio and video in the event recorder system. This software can quickly and accurately identify the cause of the accident and recognize the driving patterns and habits of the driver according to the operating section. In addition, by analyzing the audio and video data simultaneously in the previous accident, we expect that it is possible to prevent accidents in advance.
Implementation of Role Based Access Control Model for U-healthcare

When unapproved users access to healthcare system and use medical information for other malicious purposes, it could severely threaten important information related to patients' life, because in ubiquitous environment healthcare service makes patient's various examination results, medical records or most information of a patient into data. Therefore, to solve these problems, we design RBAC(Role Based Access Control) for U-healthcare that can access control with location, time and context-awareness information like status information of user and protect patient's privacy. With implementation of the proposed model, we verify effectiveness of the access control model for healthcare in ubiquitous environment.
A Study on Comparison of Development Productivity of Spring Framework 2.0 and 2.5 with Lightweight Container Architecture

This paper proposes an object-oriented software development guidance and an evaluation index for the productivity related to Spring Framework 2.0 and 2.5. Spring Framework is a known successful open source standard model for lightweight container architecture. However, there is no comparison research about the performance of Spring Framework 2.0 and 2.5 with same identical platform. Quantitative analysis is supported as a part of LoC(Line of Code) analysis. There is a limit to develop the updated software with no the specific evaluating index for the productivity of the software. This work proposes an specific index for evaluating the productivity of new version Spring Framework on a platform. Base on the result, the specific guidance of the developing software is obtained.
Effects of Load Carrying Capacity with Method of Application of Prestress on Long-Span Temporary Bridges

In recent bridge design, studies on application of external prestress have actively been conducted. When prestress is applied to steel structures, the limit value of elastic strain with large load increases with reduction of steels, this method is economic in cost. According to study by Brodka (1969), steel plate bridges with prestress has an effect on cost saving of about 15% compared with structures without prestress. For that reason, our country recently adopted this method in construction of temporary bridges and various engineering technologies have been developed which made stress correction, droop correction and long-span construction possible with relatively small cross sections. This study verifies the method of application of prestress in temporary steel structures, the influence of high-strength tendon arrangement and the effects of composite structures of steel plates and high-strength tendons based on existing method.

Cyanide Degradation by Two Recombinant Cyanide Hydratases

The genes of cyanide hydratase(CHT), a kind of nitrilases whichhydrolyze cyanide to formamide were extracted from N. crassa and A. nidulans, the two fungal strains. The recombinant forms of the CHT originated from N. crassa and A. nidulans were prepared with N-terminal hexahistidine purificationtags or no tags, and expressed in E. coli. The enzymes were purified using immobilized metal affinity chromatography. They were compared according to their pH activity profiles, and kinetic parameters. The N. crassa CHT has the wider pH range of activity above 50% and three-fold higher turnover rate (6.6
) than the A. nidulans, meanwhile the CHT of A. nidulans has the higher
value. Expression of CHT in both N. crassa and A. nidulans were induced by the presence of KCN, regardless of any presence of nitrogen sources. Max. 82% of KCN was degraded in 60 min for biological degradation tests.
A Study on Manufacturing Standards for Solid Type Fuel Additive

This study was performed to investigate solubility, dissolution rate and ash content of solid type fuel additive in gasoline and diesel in order to set up manufacturing standards. From the results, the unfiltered impurities were increased when the fuel additive was added on gasoline and diesel. Also, the unfiltered fuel additive was decreased with respect to increasing the pore size of the filter paper. When one gram of the fuel additive was dissolved in one liter of gasoline at room temperature, the best dissolution rate was about 2 hours. But, almost nothing was dissolved in diesel during 72 hours at
below zero. At the experiment of ash content, the gasoline which the fuel additive was melted in was showing 28 times more ash content than that was not including the fuel additive. Therefore, it seemed that almost all of ash content was caused by the fuel additive.

The effect of blending weight and fiber length on the tensile and flexural strength for Basalt fiber reinforce cement composites is discussed. The increase of physical properties is mainly affected by blending quantity of fibers instead of the fiber length. Also it is believed that the interfacial adhesion between Basalt fiber and cement matrix gives positive influence to the physical strength. Basalt fiber in saturated
solution, which is similar to the alkaline hydration environment of cement, shows very low weight loss even after 3 weeks of immersion.
A Study on the discriminating of the hospitals based on the efficient insurance conversion factor by AHP and DEA

This study is for the pursuit of the basic application of the efficient conversion factor in the fee contract. This aims to investigate the effects of DEA efficiency index and conversion factors to identify and group the 60 hospitals with intern and residents education. To achieve the aims, AHP was used to select the inuput and output variables for DEA. It was found that the more inefficient in the technical and scale side, the higher the conversion factors were. Conversion factor and DEA efficiency index can be used very effectively to group and discriminant hospitals into a specialized general hospital and a general hospital. Even if the variables used to calculate DEA efficiency are applied to discriminant analysis, The conversion factor and DEA efficiency index have a significant power to make a function modeling. So, if we can make a more conclusive proof based on the large number samples, We can imagine to introduce a efficiency concept in the insurance fee contracts about a conversion factor in Korea Health Insurance System.
A Study on the Effect of Prefrontal EEG-Neurofeedback on Development of Infants' Brain Function and Intelligence

As a study on how the Neurofeedback training effects on young children's brain function and intelligence, first, this paper aims to verity the effect Neurofeedback training brings to the function of young children's brain. Second, through K-WPPSI IQ test, analyses how Neurofeedback training influences on the development of young children's intelligence. The subjects of this study were the 60 five-year children attenging J kindergarten in Cheon-an, experimnet treatment was performed according to Neurofeedback training guidance from Aprile 21 to December 12, 2008. It analyzes the states of brain waves before and after the Neurofeedback training, and performed the statistical analysis through t-test, using SPSS for Window(V.13.0) package. As a result of analysis, it was shown that firstly Neurofeedback training was very effective on the d!evelopment of infan's brain intelligence, since the quotient to evaluate the entire brain function appeared to have a meaningful influence. Secondly, it was proved that Neurofeedback training had much influence on the object assembly-area, the maze-area, and picture completion-area, and that it had the same influence on the performance intelligence quotient too. So, such results as these one make us realize that Neurofeedback training is a very effective method to the development of performance intelligence quotient. Thirdly, they indicate that Neurofeedback training hasn't a meaningful influence on verbal intelligence quotient, since it affects only on the similarities area among verbal intelligence quotient, the total evaluative quotient.
Corporate governance and corporate value of Entertainment enterprises

This study analyzes the relationships between majority shareholders equity ratio or foreign equity ratio and corporate value within the entertainment industry. Furthermore, an analysis is conducted between majority shareholders equity ratio or foreign equity ratio and accounting index with the same industry. Both analyses are conducted after referring the records of the relationships between corporate governance and corporate value in general industries. The result of this study is summarized as follows. First, foreign equity ratio and corporate size are found to be the most important variables in explaining corporate value of entertainment enterprises. Second, corporations with majority shareholders holding higher percentages show a positive difference in CFO.
An Exploratory Development of Railway-timetable Rescheduling Model Considering Transferring Service between KTX and Conventional Train on a Double Line Track

In the railway, the delay of a train may affect the schedule of other trains. Hence, the timetable management activity involving overtaking and transferring becomes an important issue. The timetable rescheduling is the conflict resolution of the disrupted schedule and a matter of deciding the sequence of moves among trains and the place for meeting. In Korea, there are few cases where operations research models were applied to railway timetable rescheduling problem in consideration of the transfer between Korea Train eXpress (KTX) trains and conventional trains. Hence, we present a mathematical approach that can minimize the total delay of the whole trains secondly. We applied the model to the exemplary section of a double-line track, the Gyung-Boo Line, and it is confirmed that the mathematical model could effectively address the transfer service as well as the complicated railway conflicts of Gyung-Boo Line.
Failure modeling to predict warranty cost for individual markets

Warranty cost of automobile parts varies depending on the parts failure rate in a warranty region of individual markets. Parts failure rate is significantly affected by usage-rate given that other stressors of individual markets are similar. Accordingly, warranty cost can be predicted by failure modeling which reflects usage-rate and using a stochastic process. In this paper, one-dimensional approach is used by applying accelerated failure time model on the assumption that the usage-rate is linear. Such model can explain changes in parts failure rate depending on the changes in usage-rate since it can be expressed as a function of usage-rate. Therefore, acquisition of usage-rate in a new market will automatically lead to estimate of failure rate even without warranty data and warranty cost of parts can be predicted through a renewal process in replacement cases. A case study using warranty data of two real markets is presented in the application part of this paper.

This study attempts to present investment priorities and select industry for regional economic reinvigorating by analysing regional inter-industry of Chungchong area(including Chungnam and Chungbuk region) After the regional inter-industry table of Chungchong area has been made using a location quotient(LQ) method based on national inter-industry table of 2006 derived from national inter-industry table of 2003 using RAS method, various kind of impacts to Chungchong area are analysed. Manufacturing has the highest result in the result of production-inducing effect and value-added-inducing effect and hotels and restaurants has the highest result in employ-inducing effect. Sensitivity coefficient is highly analysed in mining and quarrying and influential coefficient is highly analysed in manufacturing.

This study focus on the structural relationships among business strategies, its various execution types and business performances from the viewpoint of many managerial aspects. These many kinds of management activities are carried out in order to revitalize the E-Business system. The objective of this study is to find out the structural effect of this various kinds of managerial strategies on the practice type of knowledge management such as dynamic and behavioral approach. And also the effect of knowledge management activities on the business performance. The result of this study shows that management strategy for marketing, procurement/logistics and service has positive influences on systematic, behavioral approach as well as the knowledge execution types has positive influence on the management performances.
A Study on the Forecast For the Critical Success Factor's Maturity Degree of Hotel Information System

Recently many Hotels have implemented and operated the Hotel Information System(HIS). These HIS-implementation evoke the significant changes in hotel management. So many interest and researches in HIS has received the spotlight from the hotel managements. Many researcher about HIS focused on the Critical Success Factors (CSF) from the viewpoint of HIS implementation. At this moment we need also the research about significance change of CSF with the laps of time. This kind of research are very critical for the successful operation of HIS. To achieve the objectives of this paper, the Innovation-Theory of E. M. Roger was implemented. As the result of this research we can get the various maturity point of each CSF with the laps of time. For the data gathering many major hotel in Korea were interviewed, and 84 valid questionaires were used for data analysis. The Cronbach's
was 0.7239, which means all data were significant.
A Study on the Professionalism of Estheticians

The purpose of this study was to examine the professionalism of estheticians in gusan and jeonju city, jeollabuckdo province. Total 290 questionnaires were collected. The period of research was from april 1 to 20, 2009. The findings of the study were as follows: First, when their professionalism was checked in light of the selected variables, their age, education and work years at current job made no statistically significant differences, but that was different according to life satisfaction and job satisfaction. By life satisfaction, the estheticians who found their lives satisfactory professionalism better than the others who didn't(t=2.77, p<.01) By job satisfaction, the estheticians who were contented with their job took the most positive professionalism, and those who found their job just not to be bad looked at it less positively than the others who were discontented(F=6.06, p<.01). Second, when the correlation of their professionalism of the sub-factors was investigated, there was a statistically significantly positive correlation among faith in autonomy(r=.595, p<.001), use of professional organization(r=.428, p<.001) and sense of mission(r=.492, p<.001). Their faith in services(r=-.634, p<.001) had a statistically significantly negative correlation to faith in self-control(r=-.485, p<.001).
The Manpower Assignment Design of the Train Paint Process with the Simulation and DEA Methods

This research suggests the calculation and analytic method of determining the proper numbers of manual workers with simulation and DEA methods. For this, first of all we designed and analysed the simulation model of real facility being built in Dea-Jun. Secondly, we find the solution with DEA among various alternatives built based on the results of the simulation analysis. In the simulation process, the waiting time, the number of painted trains, and utilization of main equipment are considered as main response variables. After simulation, we built DMUs(Decision Making Unit) consisting of combined results with the manpower assignment policies, the numbers of workers, and the rate of skilled operators, and calculated the efficiency of DMUs with the DEA method. Among 27 DMUs, 4 DMUs turned out efficient technically and on scale. In conclusion, through the suggested procedure, this research shows the way that decision makers can solve the problems with various factors they should concern, along the scientific process, when building a new facility.

Proteins are one of essential part of organisms; many proteins are enzymes that catalyze biochemical reactions and are vital to metabolism. Researching for 3D structure of proteins is important because functions of proteins are determined by 3D structure of them. In this study, we developed graphic tool that supports comparison and observation of the two proteins' 3D structure in the single screen. It also supports some comparison data to help researcher's easy comparison and observation works.
Identification of Developmental Related Genes in the Lab Animal

The present study was conducted to gain insights into oocyte maturation and early embryo development, SELDI-TOF-MS was used to find the protein candidates that are specifically or prominently expressed in mouse oocytes at the in vitro matured metaphase II (MIl) and germinal vesicle (GV) stages. By using selected CM10 chip, found 16 candidates which were up-regulated in GV stage oocytes compared with in MIl stage oocytes, molecular weight are 8180 (2 candidates), 10226 (5 candidates), 15767 (5 candidates) and 16770 (4 candidates) Da respectively. And 29 candidates were higher in MIl than in GV stage oocytes, molecular weight are 10832 (3 candidates), 17744(8 candidates), 20122 (3 candidates), 22131 (3 candidates), 24857 (7 candidates) and 33507 (5 candidates) Da, respectively. All (45) candidate (0.2 and 1.0 % error tolerances) were performed real time RT-PCR analysis and further selected 13 more potential candidates.
Prevalence of Fatty Liver and Its Association with Indices of Obesity, Liver Function and Hyperlipidemia among Adult Males

The purpose of the present study was to elucidate such a relationship by comparing the indices of obesity, liver function, and hyperlipidemia with & without fatty liver by using data from health check-up for the adult males in a university hospital. Study subjects were 772 adult males of 30 years and over, who underwent health package check-up at the health promotion center of a university hospital. The prevalence rates of fatty liver of study subjects were 25.5%, and this study shows that fatty liver by abdominal ultrasound has a close correlation with indices of obesity(body weight, BMI, body fat, waist to hip ratio, & waist to stature ratio), liver function(AST, ALT,& GGT), and hyperlipidemia(TG, TC, & HDL-C), and that was independent of age that was relevant.
Length-of-Stay Prediction Model of Appendicitis using Artificial Neural Networks and Decision Tree

For the efficient management of hospital sickbeds, it is important to predict the length of stay (LoS) of appendicitis patients. This study analyzed the patient data to find factors that show high positive correlation with LoS, build LoS prediction models using neural network and decision tree models, and compare their performance. In order to increase the prediction accuracy, we applied the ensemble techniques such as bagging and boosting. Experimental results show that decision tree model which was built with less number of variables shows prediction accuracy almost equal to that of neural network model, and that bagging is better than boosting. In conclusion, since the decision tree model which provides better explanation than neural network model can well predict the LoS of appendicitis patients and can also be used to select the input variables, it is recommended that hospitals make use of the decision tree techniques more actively.
