Study on Preform Design for Reducing Weight of PET Packaging Bottle

This study presents the preform injection molding and the blow molding of the injection stretch-blow molding process for PET bottles. The numerical analysis of the injection molding and the blow molding of a preform is considered in this paper using CAE with a view to minimize the warpage and the thickness. In order to determine the design parameters and processing conditions in injection/blow molding, it is very important to establish the numerical model with physical phenomenon. In this study, a three dimensional model has been introduced for the purpose and flow simulations of filling, post-filling and cooling process are carried out. The simulations resulted in the warpage in good agreement with the measurements. Also, from the result of numerical analysis, we appropriately predicted the warpage, deformation and thickness distribution along the product walls.

In this work, optimization analysis has been accomplished to find important process factors for realization of vertical wall around holes punched by the punchless piercing process. Taguchi method was used for optimization analysis. Lemaitre damage theory, one of the ductile fracture models, was also adopted to simulate numerically formation of vertical wall. From the results of analysis the most influencing factor that affects the vertical wall has been revealed to be `Corner Radius of Die`.

The development of the console for exterior advertizing LCD Panel(LCD Console) is the purpose of this study with regard to importance of display industry. In this study, the most important point is to develop the cooling system for LCD Console. It is developed by using systematic application techniques and statistical tests and analysis to integrate commercial components, cooling fan, heat sink, thermo electronic modules etc, of it. This study, at first, shows design/manufacturing process of the cooling system and the setting process of control factors to control through experimentation. Next, after constructing the complete console, 46 inch LCD Panel and the cooling system are built in, the performance test of it is shown through experimentation.
Mathematical Modeling for Dynamic Performance Analysis and Controller Design of Manta-type UUV

This paper describes the mathematical model and controller design for Manta-type Unmanned Underwater Test Vehicle (MUUTV) with 6 DOF nonlinear dynamic equations. The mathematical model contains hydrodynamic forces and moments expressed in terms of a set of hydrodynamic coefficients which were obtained through the PMM (Planar Motion Mechanism) test. Based on the 6 DOF dynamic equations, numerical simulations have been performed to analyze the dynamic performances of the MUUTV. In addition, using the mathematical model PID and sliding mode controller are constructed for the diving and steering maneuver. Simulation results show that the control performances of the MUUTV and compared with these of NPS (Naval Postgraduate School) AUV II.
Spectroscopic Characteristics of synthetic and natural emerald by heat treatment

The spectroscopic characteristics of synthetic and natural emeralds were investigated by UV-Vis and FTIR spectroscopy before and after heat treatment. The Mo and Co for synthetic flux and C1 for synthetic hydrothermal emeralds have been detected by X-ray fluorescence analysis. In the region of UV-Visible, the absorption of emerald from Colombia was generally increased after the heat treatment. The peak which related to C1 component in the
was shown in the hydrothermal synthetic emeralds by FTIR spectroscopy. The

was decreased after the heat treatment in the natural emerald. This was corresponded with the changes of gas element after heat treatment.
Heat Emission Characteristics on Natural Convection Radiator with Various Aspect Ratios in Heating Space

The objective of this study is to find heat emission characteristics on the natural convection radiator in a heating system when the aspect ratio of radiator is changed. In addition the computer simulation method is used in order to find the characteristics of heat transfer. When the width of the radiator is long and the height of radiator is short, the temperature difference from the floor level 0.5m to about 2.7m above the floor is small. It shows that thermal environment in heating space is good than the other case. For the future, I hope to compare the results between the computer simulation and experimental method for reliability.
Design and Structure Improvement of Ultra Low Volume Sprinkler

In this paper, structural analysis was conducted by designing a ultra low volume sprinkler applied to spray liquid and applying a ANSYS commercial code for three dimensional finite element method to the ultra low volume sprinkler. Based on this numerical structural analysis, stress, strain and total deformation were obtained and the structure improvement of the ultra low volume sprinkler was made along with improved productivity and shorten design period.
A Research on Lengthening the Life of Warm Forging Die

Rotor pole for AC(alternating current) generator is manufactured through transfer warm forging die. As soon as the material is heated at the warm manufacturing process, it is transferred to the first stage for upsetting work and then to the second stage for lateral extrusion work. The processes at the lateral extrusion work such as die block, die bushing, center punch, and side punch make severe condition and abrasion which leads to shorten the die life. This causes production decrease, long maintenance time, and low level of precision. Research on the die material selection, heat process cycle improvement, electric discharge machining trouble solution, and re-construction of main parts is expected to find a method to lengthen the die life up to 40 - 50%.
Experimental Study on the Energy Separation of the Vortex Tube for EGR Cooler

Vortex tube is the device that can separate small particles from the compressed gas, as well as compressed gas into hot and cold flow. Due to energy separation ability, a vortex tube can substitute for an EGR cooler of the automotive engine. In this study, experimental approach has been performed to analyze the energy separation characteristics of the vortex tube. Energy separation characteristics of the vortex tube has been tested for supply pressure, cold-out pressure, and hot-out pressure. As increasing supply pressure, energy separation effect increased. Maximum temperature exists about 0.85 of the cold-out-flow-ratio, and minimum exists about 0.35. Hot-out temperature of the vortex tube is affected by the hot-out and cold-out pressure. However, for the given conditions, cold-out temperature is independent of exit pressure change. The results from this study can be used for the basic design parameter of the EGR cooler substitute of an automotive engine.
LED Sensitive Light System Development by Brain-wave

The purpose of this experiment is to analyze the basic status of brain. Which are consist of rest, attention and concentration, of the brain by measuring the temperature of color by changing RGB color after manufacturing LED-illumination stand. . The results was shown that experimenter feels more comfortable and relaxation by decreasing the temperature of color. For example we can see the little increase of concentration index at
condition and we can estimate that right brain can be more activated at the
condition. But we can not find out any different at the
condition. Main cause of no difference from the color temperature was the similarity of color temperature under the general fluorescent lamp. And interface temperature of radiant heat design results LED and PCB was approximately 80 degrees to COMSOL Multiphysics, and changed until approximately 50 degrees until a floor plane of PCB, and verification as arranged chip LED to metal PCB, and it was possible, and a near radiant heat design was confirmed to an approximate value of, as a result, acid manufacture.
A Study on the Drive-less Operating Technology using Communication Based Train Control

In this paper, we verify the driverless operation possibility of MBS, which could overcome the defects of conventional track-circuit-based FBS, such as additional needs of maintenance and others problems according to short-circuit sensibility and, and which could allow the minimal interval between trains. With MBS, we can expect the reduction of headway, then the increase of transportation demand, and the protection of unnecessary speed variation because it allows the real time detection of train position from central office, and direct transmission of data between preceding trains and the following ones. In addition, it is possible to reduce the number of wayside-equipment substantially, to improve the passenger service, and to the achieve the positive economic effects by comfortable ride.
A Study on the Harmonics of Distribution Power System Interconnected with Distributed Generation

In this paper, the analysis of the harmonics of distribution power system interconnected with DG(distributed generation) is simulated by using PSCAD/EMTDC and evaluated the harmonics. The modeling system for simulation is similar to the actual distribution system, and solar power system. The simulation analyses are performed at connection points for each sector. Harmonic standards of interconnection with DG (IEEE Std 1547 and IEEE Std 519) are applied to the evaluation algorithm, converted the simulated data through FFT method, evaluated by THD and TDD separately. The harmonic contents in the case of without DG and each sector with DG are evaluated and compared. The results of evaluation showed the effect that the harmonic contents are appropriated at all sector with DG (without DG) in the distribution power systems but the large induction motor(50KW) is increased the harmonic contents.

In this paper, we developed the BMSWare(Bridge Management System Middleware) for bridge safety surveillance in real time processing. The developed system operates on web and considers the general monitoring application for bridges. In various environments in geographical location of bridge, it can obtain reliably data from various logger and sensors without re-programming. The main functions of the developed system include the acquisition, processing, backup and transmission of the collected sensor data. It was proved to be the safety and effectiveness by application of Mooyeong bridge.
A Switchable Circularly Polarized Microstrip Antenna using Asymmetric U-shaped Slotted Ground Structures

In this paper, a new microstrip antenna using asymmetric U-shaped slotted ground is proposed for a switchable circular polarization sense. The proposed antenna is achieved a circularly polarization from orthogonal E-field distributions with 90 degree phase difference due to the asymmetrical U-shaped slot. Moreover, the circular polarization sense of the proposed antenna can be easily switchable with changing the symmetric plane of the U-shaped slots. As a result, the proposed antenna is implemented by two PIN diodes with two different bias condition for ON/OFF states. The measured axial ratios are about 1.5 dB without the dependence of the polarization sense and 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth are achieved 29 MHz with respect to about 1.2 % at 2.46 GHz operating frequency.
A Study on Alarm System of a right Fecundation time for a Sow Using Ubiquitous Sensor Network(USN)

A sow has a characteristic changing in its temperature. It is a suitable time that is decreasing after sow`s body temperature increased to the highest point. We observe the variation of temperature through USN(Ubiqutous Sensor Network) system using wireless sensor inserted in the womb. The wireless sensor send massage to user`s server and its server send SMS massage to user`s cell phone. We contribute to user`s income increase as it notice to suitable fecundation.
A Design of Position Tracking System for Moving Targets with Multi-Sensors

In this paper we present a position tracking system that checks the locations of moving targets in real-time. The system confirms that unknown object invades in watch area using 2 infrared sensors and detect the distance from each sensor to object using 4 ultrasonic sensors, and calculate the position of moving object in x-y coordinate. We specially present an algorithm that decide the location of target in case of target is detected in 2 sensors because of radiation beam width of ultrasonic sensor. We established the algorithm to hardware system and tested the system within a laboratory, and confirmed that the designed system tracked an object exactly in real-time.
Design and Implementation of Web-based PLC Laboratory for Industrial Automation Training

Due to significant advances in Internet technology, there have been many e-learning courses offered by universities and academic institutes nowadays through the Internet. And these courses have benefited many students who might be constrained by distance and time. Nevertheless, most web-based courses are lecturing courses that cannot fulfill the needs for engineering technology education. In this paper, we propose the design and implementation of web-based programmable logic controller(PLC) laboratory to support learning and training for industrial automation. The proposed web-based PLC laboratory system consists of virtual labs and remote labs. This web-based PLC laboratory can be accessed by registered students to practice PLC experiments at their own home, enhancing the quality of education without much increasing in the overall cost. With the help of web cameras, the students can even have experience the live PLC experiments through the Internet.
An Efficient Method of Remote Control for Select Sequence in Process Control

When we design the control system used Programmable Logic controller(PLC), if we program a Sequential Function Chart(SFC), It is easy to understand the sequential flow of control, to maintenance the controller and to describe a program. SFC language is programmed by a single sequence, a select sequence and a parallel sequence. In a select sequence, when the select step is error, the whole process is stopped. If the error step has no connection the whole process, the loss is down when we debugging the program without stopping the whole process. Therefore, this thesis shows the efficient method of remote control for select sequence and we confirmed its feasibility through actual example.

In This Paper, at the PSPICE model is presented by Piezoelectric Transformer and CCFL and equivalent circuit of fluorescent light. Highly effective fluorescent light release for next generation is developed for 35W supremacy model three wave length T5 fluorescent lamps. Lighting a candle experiment of T5 fluorescent lamps is carried out by employing Piezoelectric Transformer power-factor improvement circuit and inverter. PLL method is used for supplying a correct frequency of Piezoelectric Transformer operating.
Spatial Reuse based on Power Control Algorithm Ad hoc Network

The MAC layer in ad-hoc network which makes network of nodes without infrastructure for a time has became an issue to reduce delay, allocate fairly bandwidth, control TX/RX power and improve throughput. Specially, the problem to reduce power consumption in ad-hoc network is very important part as ad-hoc devices use the limited battery. For solution of the problem, many power control algorithms, such as distribute power control, PCM (Power Control MAC) and F-PCF (Fragmentation based PCM), are proposed to limit power consumption until now. Although the algorithms are designed to minimize power consumption, the latency communication zone is generated by power control of RX/TX nodes. However the algorithms don`t suitably reuse the space. In this paper proposes the algorithm to improve data throughput through Spatial Reuse based on a power control method.

Abnormal SIP Packet Detection Mechanism using Co-occurrence Information

SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a signaling protocol to provide IP-based VoIP (Voice over IP) service. However, many security vulnerabilities exist as the SIP protocol utilizes the existing IP based network. The SIP Malformed message attacks may cause malfunction on VoIP services by changing the transmitted SIP header information. Additionally, there are several threats such that an attacker can extract personal information on SIP client system by inserting malicious code into SIP header. Therefore, the alternative measures should be required. In this study, we analyzed the existing research on the SIP anomaly message detection mechanism against SIP attack. And then, we proposed a Co-occurrence based SIP packet analysis mechanism, which has been used on language processing techniques. We proposed a association rule generation and an attack detection technique by using the actual SIP session state. Experimental results showed that the average detection rate was 87% on SIP attacks in case of using the proposed technique.
Turbo Coded OFDM Scheme for a High-Speed Power Line Communication

In this paper, performance of a turbo-coded OFDM system is analyzed and simulated in a power line communication channel. Since the power line communication system typically operates in a hostile environment, turbo code has been employed to enhance reliability of transmitted data. The performance is evaluated in terms of bit error probability. As turbo decoding algorithms, MAP (maximum a posteriori), Max-Log-MAP, and SOVA (soft decision viterbi output) algorithms are chosen and their performances are compared. From simulation results, it is demonstrated that Max-Log-MAP algorithm is promising in terms of performance and complexity. It is shown that performance is improved 3dB by increasing the number of iterations, 2 to 8, and interleaver length of a turbo encoder, 100 to 5000. The results in this paper can be applied to OFDM-based high-speed power line communication systems.

The industrial foundation of the inside and outside of a country has brought significant damages due to attacks from hackers. Especially, if the national primary core infrastructures(like electric power, dam, railroad, atomic energy, etc.) has been significantly damaged, it can be directly linked not only to economic problems but also to people`s lives. These national primary core infrastructures usually constitute SCADA system using Modbus RS486 communication. Because of this characteristic, SCADA system has RTU master and slave linked to RJ11 cables to directly pass commands. RJ11 is possible in data spoofing using physical connection because the transmission range of RJ11 has a wide bandwidth(almost 1km). Hence, this paper designed an idle-time measurement system for SCADA system for emerging security improvement in the national primary core infrastructures.
Development of Moving Objects Monitoring and Transforming Personal Robot System Based on Remote Controls

The moving object monitoring and transforming personal robot system based on remote controls is designed and implemented, and the performance of the system is analyzed in this paper. The major considering factors in the system design are such as 1) the control scheme design (button based and the remote control schemes); 2) the operation modes design (wheel driving mode/pedestrian mode/auto driving mode/observation mode); 3) the remote control function design; 4) the design of the monitoring function of the changes in neighbor environments; 5) the design of the detection of obstruction. From the experiments, it is assured that the developed personal robot can walk to the grounds that covered with doorsill or electric wires in indoors by control the leg articulations, and can escape from the obstruction using three infrared sensors in the 30cm*30cm obstruction styled space under the auto driving mode.
A Compressed Hot-Cold Clustering to Improve Index Operation Performance of Flash Memory-SSD Systems

SSDs are one of the best media to support portable and desktop computers` storage devices. Their features include non-volatility, low power consumption, and fast access time for read operations, which are sufficient to present flash memories as major database storage components for desktop and server computers. However, we need to improve traditional index management schemes based on B-Tree due to the relatively slow characteristics of flash memory operations, as compared to RAM memory. In order to achieve this goal, we propose a new index management scheme based on a compressed hot-cold clustering called CHC-Tree. CHC-Tree-based index management improves index operation performance by dividing index nodes into hot or cold segments and compressing pointers and keys in the index nodes and clustering the hot or cold segments. The offset compression techniques using unused free area in cold index node lead to reduce the number of slow erase operations in index node insert/delete processes. Simulation results show that our scheme significantly reduces the write and erase operation overheads, improving the index search performance of B-Tree by up to 26 percent, and the index update performance by up to 23 percent.
A hardware design of Rate control algorithm for H.264

In this paper, we propose a novel hardware architecture for Rate control module for real time full HD video compression. In the proposed architecture, QP is updated by using the rate control algorithm to every the macroblock line(120MB for Full HD, 20MB for CIF image). Since there are many complex arithmetic and floating point arithmetic in rate control algorithm of JM for H.264, it is impossible to process the rate control algorithm using the integer arithmetic CPU core. So we adopted floating point arithmetic unit in our architecture, and implemented the rate control algorithm using the floating unit. With this implemented hardware, the implemented hardware is verified to be operated in real time.

The ACR (Access Control Router) of WiBro processes location registration of the Correspondent Node and Home Agent as the Correspondent Node moves between ACRs. Therefore, the location update cost is low compared with MIPv6. However, all packets which are sent and received are sent through the ACR, so as the number of mobile nodes that are managed by the ACR increases, the cost of packet delivery also increases. Therefore, the communication state of the ACR domain remains smooth when the ACR which manages the mobile node in the ACR domain has good performance. However, network delays occur unless the ACR performs well, so the role of the ACR is important. In this paper, we analysis performance of the ACR for efficient realization of the WiBro standard. By using the Deny Probability and the Total Profit of ACR performance and apply it to the Random Walk Mobility model as the mobility model.
Influence of Traditional Play Program on physical Fitness and physical Self-Concept of Children

This study intends to evaluate the impacts of traditional recreations on children`s physical strength and self-ego on a group of 40 seven-year-old children observed twice per week for a ten week period. The results of the research are as follows. First, in the changes of the infant`s basic physical strength, according to the traditional playground program, low factors like muscular strength, agility, quickness, and flexibility shows higher in experimental group comparing to control group. Statically between two groups, there was a significant difference. Second, in the changes of the infant`s physical self-concept, according to the traditional playground program, low factors like, appearance, fitness ability, and physical strength Shows higher in experimental group comparing to control group, but statically, two groups there wasn`t any significant differences. So according to the results of the research, it clearly shows that traditional playground program has positive effects to the infant`s basic physical strength, and physical self-concepts.
Adaptive Predictor for Entropy Coding

In this paper, an efficient predictor for entropy coding is proposed. It adaptively selects one of two prediction errors obtained by MED(median edge detector) or GAP(gradient adaptive prediction). The reduced error is encoded by existing entropy coding method. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can compress higher than existing predictive methods.
Collaborative Project Curriculum applying Project-based Learning

In diverse professional fields including information and communication field, there is huge gap between required practical ability in industrial and that of graduated students actually learn in university. In this paper, we propose collaborative project curriculum applied to project-based learning in order to train affordable specialists who have a systematic problem-solving ability in industrial site. Applying this curriculum to The Cultural Technology Education Center of Jeju National University, we confirm that our curriculum improves ability of students to perform team project systematically such as skills in paper writing, presentation speech, problem solving, and collaborative work. Students are also reported high satisfaction about the proposed curriculum. Therefore, we expect that our curriculum will successfully be applied to other fields.

The manufacturing of the solid fuel using wastes has been studied on the purpose of the reduction of green house gases and the profit-making as alternative fuel, and thus, it has become as technically improved as to be used as business. However, the production of solid fuel with multi-wastes combination needs a caution while the solid fuel with one-waste has not a significant component change. This study analyzes the solid fuel components through the practical plant experiment to the various wastes. The resulted data shows a different pattern than the theoretical one in the component analysis, and it can be concluded that the adequate uniform mixing has a great influence on the manufacturing of the solid soil.

Industrial combustible waste is very valuable source for refuse derived solid fuel since its heating value is usually over 3,000kcal/kg. Especially, synthetic high molecular compound which is high of productivity and heating value is used as raw material in many cases. Film type plastic has been widely used for producing RPF because their shaping is easy and they has high heating value. On the other hand, the possibility of various type of waste as a source for RPF in this study. It has been found that resin compound drived and tire derived solid fuel showed more than 6,000kcal/kg of heating value. But the heating value decreased by adding paper and wood waste.

As the scale of domestic building construction becomes larger, more complicated and more specialized, demands for quality improvement, cost reduction and construction period shortening increase. Construction materials management becomes a main factor to perform the project successfully. Therefore, various researches using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) are being studied to manage the construction materials efficiently. This research aims to suggest the method of construction materials management using RFID in apartment housing. First, the technical properties of RFID are grasped. Second, problems are extracted by analyzing the case studies and related research using RFID in construction field. Third, construction materials are classified according to the construction process and process of materials management is analyzed. Lastly, method of construction materials management using RFID is suggested. The results of this research are expected to contribute the improvement of construction productivity through effective material management.

In this paper, an analytical and experimental study is performed in order to determine the effects of interaction between vehicle and bridge superstructure. For this purpose an improved wheel tracking machine and an adequate single span bridge are designed. Results presented in the paper show that wheel tracking machine including moving mass effects can demonstrate more accurate dynamic interaction between vehicle and structure.
A Study on the Announcement Effect of Corporate Size and Ownership Structure in the Corporate Division

We studied about the difference of division public announcements by corporation size and ownership structure from 1999 to 2005. The results is as follow : First, we found most positive numbers in division corporation`s CAR. This supports the existing research that corporation division is evaluated positively in the market. We found CAR as largest shareholders` holding more than 40%, which is greater than 0-20% & 20-40%, that shows relatively more negative CAR. So, the exceeded largest shareholders` holding rate (i.e., over 40%) can be a factor for decreasing corporations` value. Also, most positive CAR shows relatively small variation regarding corporation size knowing that big sized corporations have relatively small variation than small sized corporations. Second, we studied about relationship between corporate ownership structure and division public effects and found relatively a little effect by large shareholders, foreign investors` holding variables on division public.

Estimating the Determinants for Rate of Arrearage in Domestic Bank: A Panel Data Model Approach

In respect complication of group, rate of arrearage in domestic bank is composed of various factors. This paper studies focus on estimating the determinants of the rate of arrearage in domestic bank using panel data model. The volume of analysis consist of 3 groups(loaned patterns of enterprise, housekeeping, credit card). Analyzing period be formed over a 54 point(2005. 1~ 2009. 06). In this paper dependent variable setting up rate of arrearage in domestic bank, explanatory(independent) variables composed of the consumer price index, composite stock price index, rate of exchange, the coincident composite index, national housing bonds and employment rate. The result of estimating the rate of arrearage in domestic bank provides empirical evidences of significance positive relationships between the consumer price index However this study provides empirical evidences of significance negative relationships between the coincident composite index and the composite stock price index. The explanatory variables, that is, rate of exchange, national housing bonds and the employment rate are non-significance variables of negative factor. Implication of these findings are discussed for content research and practices.

Until now, most of the studies about the impulse buying have focused mainly on the product of off-line shop, while there have relatively been very few studies about the product in internet shopping mall. The goal of this study was to understand Impulse Buying Behavior(IBB) for digital contents in the internet. Data has been collected from 278 respondents. The questionnaire method was adopted to collect the data for this study. The research was conducted by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0. It was found that as follows: First, marketing stimulation factors, such as price, product, promotion was related positively to FLOW. Second, marketing stimulation factors was related partly positively to IBB. Third, FLOW has mediating effects in the relations between marketing stimulation factors and IBB. Finally, Self-Behavior Control and Sensation Seeking Tendancy has moderating effect in the IBB process. Thus, It also provides a core strategic Implication with Digital Contents Marketers.

The focus of this paper falls on assessing how well rule of crafting government R&D institution spin-off companies(GRSCs), legitimatized to boost up technology commercialization of government research institutions(GRIs) at Daedeok Innopolis in 2006, affect the better business performance of GRSCs, but also delivering alternatives of driving up their better business. First of all, this paper evaluate a management performance of GRSCs at the financial aspect by taking 5 different GRSCs cases among 16 to measure the overall performance of GRSCS`s Technology commercialization. Second, this paper assess the effectiveness of GRSCs to bring the better performance of technology commercialization. Third, this paper suggest soft program-centered technology commercialization model, rather institution and ceremonial-oriented one, for GRIs. Overall, the outcomes of this paper will contribute to accommodate the rule of GRSCs attaining goals set in the initial policy domain.

This paper represents the results of study on Extra High Voltage Power Cable Connection System Development. The purpose is to evaluate structural safety by numerical analysis for the relaxation of electric field concentration and by structural analysis of Carrier Pipe for easy installation of High Insulating Rubber Sleeve in the field, which is core technique of connection system. According to the results, the thickness of Carrier Pipe needs at least 9mm by optimization analysis of deformation behavior and insulating design & relaxation of electric field concentration. The result of contraction behavior of the connection part can be demonstrated with the same result of electric field relaxation analysis at the boundary of the electrode inserted into the insulating rubber sleeve.

Due to the global economic crisis and jobless growth, the problem of employment is becoming an important social issue. Fostering potential entrepreneurs with systematic education can be an alternative for resolving the jobless growth problem. Therefore, this study presents entrepreneurship subjects which are needed for designing a curriculum of the systematic entrepreneurship education. This study develops a questionnaire based on prior researches, and executes the survey of two focused groups comprised with a group of researchers lecturing subjects related with entrepreneurship and a group of executing an entrepreneurship consulting. The result of the study can be applied to design and run the curriculum in the universities, which consider introducing stage of entrepreneurship education. This study help a entrepreneurship department to bear the curriculum, and a direction of specialization.
Determining Relative Weights of Criteria for Evaluating National Quarantine Station by the Analytic Hierarchy Process

In accordance with the increasing possibility that the new and reoccurring epidemics continuously appearing abroad flow into Korea, it is very important to evaluate the efficiency of quarantine management projects of National Quarantine Station. This study adopted the pairwise comparison approach using the analytical hierarchy process(AHP) that has been recognized with its scientific adequacy for allocating the weight, the relative importance of evaluation components. AHP technique is evaluated to be distinguished in measuring the impact by making hierarchy of, simplifying and systemizing the complicated multi-criteria decision making problems. The weights by evaluation indexes were 0.2 in the organization evaluation field and 0.8 in the service and program field. The quarantine business showed the highest value, 0.45, in the service and program field. The indexes were classified into the upper category (organization evaluation field, service and program evaluation field) and lower category (input/process/result/quarantine field, inspection field, hygiene management field, pathogenic organ investigation and monitoring field, epidemics prevention promotion/education field). The evaluation indexes that were finally selected were applied to the actual businesses in National Quarantine Station. Next, the minimum evaluation indexes were selected and so the evaluation system on the businesses in National Quarantine Station was more systemized.
Job Satisfaction and Psychosocial Stress among Public Officers; and Their Related Factors

The administrative employees of government were analyzed on their levels of psychosocial stress and job satisfaction to reveal the various factors related to them. The self-administered questionnaires were performed, during the period between May 25th, 2007 and June 5th, to 550 individuals in the service of general administration located in Daejeon City. The Survey items included subjects` socio-denographic and job-related characteristics, health-related behavior pattern, locus of control, sense of self-esteem, psychosocial stresses and degree of job satisfaction. The study results indicate that the level of stress or job satisfaction is so complicatedly influenced by variable factors such as socio-demographic characteristics, job-related characteristics, health-related behaviors, or social psycologic factors like type A behavior pattern, internal locus of control, self-esteem or stress coping. Thus, the effective strategy for stress reduction and increase of job satisfaction among governmental employees requires additional programs.
Potential Effects of Nature-friendly Hill Climb Sportsmen`s Participatory Motivation and Commitment Experience upon Their Sense of Self-achievement and Living Satisfaction

The purpose of this study was to examine potential effects of nature- friendly hill climb sportsmen`s participatory motivation and commitment experience on their sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. To meet the goal, this study surveyed total 206 participants (male and female) in hill climb tournaments held at Daegwallyeong and Misiryeong, Gangwon province. For data processing, this study used SPSS 14.0 and amos 7.0 to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, descriptive statistic analysis and structural equation model analysis respectively. As a result, this study could come to the following conclusions: First, according to descriptive statistic analysis, it was found that our respondents who participated in nature-friendly hill climb sports scored relatively high points in their participatory motivation, commitment experience, sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. Secondly, this study adopted Pearson`s moment correlation analysis in order to determine potential associations among our respondents` participatory motivation, commitment experience, sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. As a result, it was found that their participatory motivation was positively correlated with their living satisfaction, while their commitment experience was positively correlated with their sense of self-achievement. Thirdly, it was found that there were certain causalities among our respondents` participatory motivation, living satisfaction, commitment experience and sense of self-achievement.

The study was conducted on a total of 146 patients who cancelled planned surgeries at a University Hospital located in Daejeon for one year from Jan., 1 to Dec., 31, 2007 with the purpose of minimizing cancellation ratio of planned surgeries and thereby improving hospital management reasonably and raising service satisfaction. Participants in this study consisted of 56.8% of male patients and 43.2% of female patients, with a higher proportion of female than male patients. The causes of cancelled planned surgeries were classified into controllable and uncontrollable cases. 60.0% of the cases that cancelled planned surgeries were classified into controllable cases based on the classification of surgical risk. From these findings, the study proposes that researchers and hospital managers establish policy directions to reduce and improve surgery cancellation ratio.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate suppression of Streptococcus mutans(S. mutans) colonization by long-term xylitol consumption among pregnant women who can easily get bad oral hygiene status during pregnancy and breast feeding. Participants were voluntarily recruited for a pregnant women`s oral health prevention program, classified into two groups(a control and a xylitol group), and then followed for 18 months. Stimulated whole saliva was collected in the afternoon(1:00-3:00 p.m.) at baseline, 6 months, 12months, and 18 months. Information regarding oral health behavior(tooth brushing frequency and regular dental visits) was obtained via a questionnaire. S. mutans counts of the xylitol group decreased considerably between baseline and the re-examinations at 6, 12, and 18 months. Although the S. mutans counts decreased for all time points compared to baseline in the control group, these differences did not reach significance except 18 months. A Study on Influence of Human Resource Efficiency of University Hospitals on Revenue and Expense

The purpose of this study is to analyze influence of human resource efficiency of 32 university hospitals on revenue and expense. This study applies DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) to evaluate human resource efficiency of the university hospitals. The results are as follows. First, university hospitals` average human resource efficiency are over 0.9 for the period 2005-2007. Second, in the relationship between revenue and efficiency, the revenue had any significant relation to human resource efficiency. Third, There is close correlation between revenue and human resource efficiency. The hospitals that are high on human resource efficiency were found to be high on revenue and expense. There is a dynamic relationship that connects revenue, expense and human resource efficiency. The higher the investment expense, the greater is the number of in-patients and out-patients which leads to higher growth and profits.
Relationship between Psychosocial Stress and Coronary Risk Factors of Employees in a Research Institute

The purpose of the present study was intended to assess psycosocial stress of male researchers working in a Research Institute, and to reveal the relationship between psycosocial stress and coronary risk factors. Data were obtained from 356 male researchers who underwent health package check-up at the health promotion center of a university hospital from May to June 2007, using by self-administered questionnaire & health check-up. For psycosocial stress, we used the questionnaire with 18 items developed as Psychosocial Well-bing Index(PWI). For coronary risk factors, systolic and diastolic blood pressure(SBP, DBP), triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol(TC), high and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL, LDL), fasting blood sugar(FBS) and % fat rate were measured. As a results, the level of psycosocial stress is influenced by socio-demographic characteristics, job-related characteristics and health-related behaviors. Especially, it was found to have the inter-relational effects that the higher the blood pressure, the higher the level of psycosocial stress.
Effects of Foot Baths on Stress and exhaustion for high school senior students -A comparative study on the aroma oil and fermentation extract-

In the twenty first century, people experience a lot of stresses by psychological, social and environmental impetus. If the stress is excessive, it can become a problem and finally lead to diseases. Foot bath makes the body warm starting with the feet, controls the blood circulations and autonomic nervous systems. This study aims at examining the effects of stress and fatigue of senior students preparing for college entrance examination by foot bath with the aroma essential oil and the fermentation extracts. The experimental period was from March 30 to April 18, 2009. The study objects were 21 senior students of C Girls` High School in Cheonan. They were divided into 3 groups and treated 20 times. The first group was a foot bath group with Artemisia Herbal fermentation extracts. The second group was a foot bath group with the blending aroma essential oil of grapefruit, cypress and cedarwood. The third group was not treated. In the case of difference of physical and psychological stress, there was a reduction of 18.43 and 16.71 for the fermented extract group and 10.71 and 9.43 for the aroma group, while a reduction of 0.43 and 0.29 for the control group, respectively. This shows that foot baths using fermented extracts and aroma had lower physical stress compared to the control group (p<.01). For the difference of fatigue, there was a reduction of 19.14 for the fermented extract group, 11.57 for the aroma group and 0.07 for the control group, showing that foot baths accompanied by fermented extracts and aroma used in this study having lower fatigue compared to the control group (p<.01). The fermented extract group (M
