A Study on the Distinction of Landmine Detection Using 6 Step Creativity of the TRIZ

Landmines are a humanitarian challenge because they indiscriminately kill and maim civilians. Landmines are weapons that cannot distinguish between a soldier and a civilian, and they remain active for decades. As a result, most of the victims of mines are innocent men, women and children. For this purpose, new technologies such as a methode of landmine detection and mobile robots are needed. Our effort is to develop a small mobile robot for landmine detection, to detect landmine and to explore the landmine distinguishable method. In this paper, Specifically we detected landmines using electromagnetic sensors and distinguished metals from M14 antipersonnel mines under the ground using 6 step creativity of the TRIZ. Therefore, we proposed new method of landmine detection using the TRIZ.
Minimization of Warpage in Plastic Injection-Molded Parts Based on the ‘Pick-the-Winner' Rule and Design Space Reduction Method

This paper presents a robust design procedure for minimizing warpage in plastic injection-molded products, where the Pick-the-Winner rule based on Taguchi's Orthogonal Array experiments and the Design Space Reduction Method are integrated for optimization. Two-step optimization approach is applied to reduce warpage in the part design stage and additionally to minimize the warpage in the process conditions design stage. Taguchi's S/N ratio is introduced as a design metric to evaluate robustness against process variations. The effectiveness of proposed optimization process is shown with an example of warpage minimization problem.
A Study on Safety Estimation of Railroad Wheel

Recently, high speed of container freight cars is causing fatigue damage of wheel. Sudden failure accidents cause a lot of physical and human damages. Therefore, damage analysis for wheel prevents failure accident of container freight car. Wheel receives mechanical and thermal loads at the same time while rolling stocks are run. The mechanical loads applied to wheel are classified by the horizontal load from contact of wheel and rail in curve line section and by the vertical force from rolling stocks weight. Also, braking and deceleration of rolling stocks cause repeated thermal load by wheel tread braking. Specially, braking of rolling stocks is frictional braking method that brake shoe is contacted in wheel tread by high breaking pressure. Frictional heat energy occurs on the contact surface between wheel tread and brake shoe. This braking converts kinetic energy of rolling stocks into heat energy by friction. This raises temperature rapidly and generates thermal loads in wheel and brake shoe. There mechanical and thermal loads generate crack and residual stress in wheel. Wetenkamp estimated temperature distribution of brake shoe experimentally. Donzella proposed fatigue life using thermal stress and residual stress. However, the load applied to wheel in aforementioned most researches considered thermal load and mechanical vertical load. Exact horizontal load is not considered as the load applied to wheel. Therefore, above-mentioned loading methods could not be applied to estimate actual stress applied to wheel. Therefore, this study proposed safety estimation on wheel of freight car using heat-structural coupled analysis on the basis of loading condition and stress intensity factor.
Color Enhancement for Cubic Zirconia with Low Temperature Annealing

Colored cubic zirconia specimen made by skull melt process were annealed in vacuum at the temperature of
for 10~60 minutes to enhance the color. All the seven specimen become darker and eventually be black as annealing temperature and time increase. The black samples turned into original colors when we elevated the temperature with oxy-acetylene torch for around 10 minutes in the air. Finally, we could tune the colors of cubic zirconia either anneal in vacuum or the black samples in the air to obtain the proposed colors. Our proposed new process may be appropriate to fabricate the precious synthetic colored cubic zirconia to simulate the natural colored gem quality diamonds.
A Study on Structural Analysis for the Bellows of Automotive Exhaust System

As the space for installation of automotive exhaust system is limited, the space should be optimized with relation to the endurance and shape of the system. Geometric nonlinear analysis was used and deflection of bellows was assumed 6mm. Obtained results are as follows; (1) The Von-Mises stress of bellows is increased with increase of thickness or radius of bellows linearly. (2) As the principal stress varies according to the radius of convolution, it is necessary to decide the optimal radius of convolution.

We have studied on the frictional characteristics for mounting rubbers varieties structures on the automotive engine. This paper are using a test apparatus developed in the laboratory, friction and wear characteristics of various rubbers have been analyzed by experimental study. Frictional characteristics has been measured from the normal force and friction force under various operating conditions, such as, loads, speed and temperatures. Therefore, the rubbers are used in a several varieties structures as well as automotive, the relations between the various conditions and frictional characteristics have been investigated.

LED lights as a newly-growing industry are highly energy-efficient and have drawn lots of attention due to higher illuminance and longer life compared to other light sources. In this study, MR16 lights with one high-power LED were considered for the replacement of the previous halogen lights or LED lamps with many LEDs. Thus, fundamental experiments of LED on a MCPCB, 3-dimensional numerical analysis for heatsink design and performance tests of the prototype lights have been done and the MR16 LED lights have been successfully developed.

The probe card are test modules which are to classify the good semiconductor chips and thin film before the packaging process. In the rapid growth a technology of semiconductor, the number of pads per unit area is increasing and pad arrays are becoming irregular. Therefore, the technology of probe card needs narrow width and lots of probe tip. An industrial growth needs high quality of productivity and accuracy. So, the needs of power electronics became pressing. Recently both interest and demand about the technique of power electronics systems has been increased. Though power electronics has a lot of strong point, there are several problems which are harmonic effect, EMI(Electromagnetic Interference), malfunction of electric machinery, harmful effect on human, audible noise and so on. Because these problem are a potent influence on motor, so there needs the manufacture and redesign of motor. The real motors of industrial application have designed and manufactured on the basis of confidence. The study on motor using utility power source was verified sufficient to identify confidence of electric machinery on utility power source. However, a study on confidence is in progress about pulse source by switching device. An advanced company are studying to solve this problem. In this research, it is studied that each variables effecting motor reliability have correlation through experiment and more over forecasting the reliability of motor under inverter operation.
Design of the LDO Regulator with 2-stage wide-band OTA for High Speed PMIC

This paper presents a design of the CMOS LDO regulator with a fast transient response for a high speed PMIC(power management integrated circuit). Proposed LDO regulator circuit consists of a reference voltage circuit, an error amplifier and a power transistor. 2-stage wide-band OTA buffer between error amplifier and power transistor is added for a good output stability. Although conventional source follower buffer structure is simple, it has a narrow output swing and a low S/N ratio. In this paper, we use a 2-stage wide-band OTA instead of source follower structure for a buffer. From HSPICE simulation results using a
CMOS standard technology, simulation results were 16 mV/V line regulation and 0.007 %/mA load regulation.
A Study on the Electrical Properties of Highly Efficient Ceramic Piezoelectric Transformer

In this study, in order to develop multilayer piezoelectric transformer for high electromechanical coupling factor and mechanical quality factor. and to show the general approach to the design of inverters utilizing PT as a circuit element. The description of the piezoelectric effect is not present here and can be easily found in numerous publications as well as complex equations and formulae. What is the most important to understand is that "they are different" -one cannot just change an electromagnetic transformer (EMT) for a piezoelectric one. Several examples of PT-based circuitry will help to start and use multilayer piezoelectric transformer advantages most effectively.
Intelligent Lighting Development having Auto-Address in DMX512 Protocol

The lighting industry has become the bigger and more systemized using the semiconductor LED with each control R(Red), G(Green), B(Blue). The communication standard DMX512(ANSI E1.11) protocol of it basically needs the address which can be distinguished between the lighting terminals. The conventional method has to give the address of the lighting any methods like dip switch, EEROM and PROM. Then the lighting terminal can receive RGB data from DMX512 communication. According to electrical characteristics DMX512 protocol has to the splitter every 32 lighting terminals. If 512 lightings is all connected, maximum 16 splitters are needed. This paper is solved above weakness in DMX512 protocol using serial connection all lighting terminals. Also I developed the intelligent lighting terminal with auto-addressing. This was solved the inconvenience of the address assignment and the usage of the splitter. The developed products is applied and selled the semiconductor lighting terminals using ON-OFF control, dimming control, sequential control and rainbow control.
The Comparative Study of Software Optimal Release Time Based on Intensity Function property

In this paper, we were researched decision problem called an optimal release policies after testing a software system in development phase and transferring it to the user. The applied model of release time exploited infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process This infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The intensity function used Gompertz, Preto and Log-logstic pattern which has the efficient various property. Thus, optimal software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time.
Performance Analysis of Compensation Algorithm for Localization using Equivalent Distance Rate

In this paper, the compensation algorithm for localization using the concept of equivalent distance rate(AEDR) in order to compensate ranging error in the SDS-TWR(Symmetric Double-Sided Two-Way Ranging) is proposed and the performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed by the localization experiments. The ranging error of the SDS-TWR in the distance between mobile node and beacon node is measured to average 1m~8m by ranging experiments. But it is confirmed that the performance of the localization by the AEDR is better than that of the SDS-TWR 4 times in university auditorium and corridor, and the localization error of above 3~10m is reduced to average 2m and that of below 3m is reduced to average 1m respectively. It is concluded that the AEDR is superior to the NLOS(Non Line Of Sight) than LOS(Line Of Sight) in performance of ranging compensation for localization, and the AEDR is more helpful to localization systems practically considering the environment of sensor networks is under NLOS.
Low Computational Adaptive Expanded Block Search Motion Estimation Method

In this paper, Low Computational Adaptive Expanded Block Search Motion Estimation Method is proposed. Proposed method classifies ME blocks as Average Motion Block(AMB) and Local Motion Block(LMB) according to correlation of reference frame. It could reduce the computational complexity with performing Modified Fast Search(MFS). And accuracy of MV is also increased by 4 sub-blocks on LMB and Block Expansion(BE). The experimental results show that the proposed method has better performance that increased 1.8dB than Diamond Search and 0.6dB than Full Search with 7.5 % computation of Full Search. The proposed method could be applied to video compression and Frame Rate Conversion(FRC).

IPSec is the security protocol that do encryption and authentication service to IP messages on network layer of the internet. This paper presents the key recovery mechanism that is applied to IKEv2 of IPSec for mobile communication environments. It results to have compatibility with IPSec and IKEv2, reduce network overhead, and perform key recovery without depending on key escrew agencies or authorized party.
Heartbeat-signal Monitoring System Using Fine-pressure Sensor

In this paper, we implemented a heartbeat-signal monitoring system that can measure and check the heartbeat of a human body in any time and anywhere. The implemented prototype is composed of heartbeat measurement terminal, gateway, and server that collect and process data. The terminal compose sensor network using ZigBee protocol. And server acquire heartbeat signal through differentiating collected data two times, and store above data to database and manage it. We can understand the status of examinee's heart without restriction and self-awareness. Through experiment, we confirmed the possibility of ubiquitous healthcare system based on sonsor network using the ZigBee.

Target detection and tracking wireless sensor network must have various signal processing ability. Wireless sensor nodes need to light weight signal processing algorithm because of energy constraints and communication bandwidth constraints. General signal processing algorithm of wireless sensor node consists of de-noising, received signal strength computation, feature extraction and signal compression. Wireless sensor network life-time and performance of target detection and classification depend on sensor node signal processing. In this paper, we propose energy efficient signal processing algorithm using wavelet transform. The proposed method estimates exact target position.
TFT-LCD Mura Detection Algorithm Using Multi-point 2-D FFT

In this paper, we propose a new mura detection algorithm for TFT-LCD effectively, which is based on multi-point, 2-dimensional FFT. Since mura in TFT-LCD has a certain area shape, it is seen as a sin wave in a LCD line. Since shapes of mura can be seen a circle, horizontal oval, or vertical oval, it is shown that they can be detected by 2-dimensional FFT easily. Through simulation for test image, it is shown that proposed algorithm can detect various sizes of mura. The proposed algorithm can be utilized in automatic test equipment for effective TFT-LCD mura detection.
Cyber University e-Mentoring System with Role Modeling

This study suggests the design and implementation of an e-mentoring system, which creates more than one role models to help adult learners of cyber university to improve their academic performance and to successfully complete their education. The benefits of this system are as following; First, automatic matching system is built in consideration of mutual requests between mentor and mentee. And the system enforces all participants to actively participate in the program by sharing ideas and to improve their academic performance with specific academic goals. Second, participants are rewarded at the end of the program for their performance by an evaluation system developed for assessing role models and participants' activities. Also, the system encourages best mentors to remain in the program and help adult learners to improve academic performance.
Localization Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks using the Acceleration sensor

In an environment where all nodes move, the sensor node receives anchor node's position information within communication radius and modifies the received anchor node's position information by one's traveled distance and direction in saving in one's memory, where if there at least 3, one's position is determined by performing localization through trilateration. The proposed localization mechanisms have been simulated in the Matlab. In an environment where certain distance is maintained and nodes move towards the same direction, the probability for the sensor node to meet at least 3 anchor nodes with absolute coordinates within 1 hub range is remote. Even if the sensor node has estimated its position with at least 3 beacon information, the angle
error of accelerator and digital compass will continuously apply by the passage of time in enlarging the error tolerance and its estimated position not being relied. Dead reckoning technology is used as a supplementary position tracking navigation technology in places where GPS doesn't operate, where one's position can be estimated by knowing the distance and direction the node has traveled with acceleration sensor and digital compass. The localization algorithm to be explained is a localization technique that uses Dead reckoning where all nodes are loaded with omnidirectional antenna, and assumes that one's traveling distance and direction can be known with accelerator and digital compass. The simulation results show that our scheme performed better than other mechanisms (e.g. MCL, DV-distance).

The protocol based on password have very important qualifications that not only satisfy against attacks cause of restricting that have, but also efficiency of reducing users' workload. It has a problem of speculative attacks for the user authentication protocol based on password with most case, because users use password that can remember easily. Song and Etc. have proposed new mechanism that improved the problem of S/KEY system. The protocol proposed by Song has a problem in registration process, and user information can be abused by the malevolent server. We propose a new authentication protocol based on efficient OPT, that improved above problems.
A Study on Comparative Analysis with Existing Model to Development of Software System Reliability Estimation Model of Field Applicable to be Easy and Simply

The various models that estimate the reliability of application software system had been made. But most of the existing models are inconvenient to industrial fields because so complicated mathematic methods as method of estimation parameter have been used. The two purposes of this paper are to develop the reliability estimation model which was easily applied to industrial fields, and to prove no differences between the existing models and the developed model. Therefore the reliability of software system and handled informations are upgraded by far.

Recently, U-Healthcare is receiving attentions as a research for reducing the manpower, time in treatment, and etc. Although fundamental technologies, such as sensing, measuring, and etc. are sufficiently investigated. However, Technologies of IT/Medical convergence, which graft IT technologies to medical area, are still in germ. For this, we present a novel healthcare system, which can be applied to the middle sized medical environment, such as private hospital, home, or etc., by means of pre-verified technologies and the expert system. There exist IT element technologies are sufficiently developed in the fields, such as network, database or etc. due to the remarkable developments in IT technologies, and the healthcare is a mission-critical environment. Therefore, it is important not only to investigate novel approaches but also to utilize verified technologies for the U-Healthcare solution. Presented solution provisions automated medical services based on expert system by utilizing the measured data, such as body fat, blood pressure, blood glucose, and etc., in order to provide convenient treatment environment to doctors and nurses. In addition, since people, who do not have medical knowledge, can self-diagnose themselves, it is expected to cut medical costs in various areas. Especially, since each devices communicate with each other through standardized Bluetooth technology, Presented healthcare system is an extensible solution which can easily accept various medical devices. As a result of this, we can safely say that the self measurement and diagnosis services in U-Healthcare are now enhanced by reducing medical cost through our healthcare system.
Development of SISI Test Software based on PC

SISI(Short Increment Sensitivity Index) test is to identify recruitment phenomenon that is used to diagnose detailed lesion of sensory-neural hearing loss. This paper describes SISI test software implemented to personal computer(PC). This software supports two test modes, consisting of auto-mode and manual-mode, which are classified according to whether or not audiologist to lead test, thereby enabling cost effective test. In addition, it has been designed to perform automatic masking in case of necessity. And by supporting not only 1dB increment but also 2 and 5dB increment, SISI test program of this paper makes it possible to acquire more accurate test result.

The goal of this research is to enhance the maintenance and monitoring system of ship environment using sensor network. It is important to know the location information of sensor nodes to control the sensors and to obtain the sensor data from sensor network inside the ship. In this paper, we address the grouping and routing mechanism according to the relative distance of sensor nodes, based on LEACH and PEGASIS. We also consider the fault tolerant mechanism using the location information of sensor nodes.

Various researches have been studied on WSN(wireless sensor network) for barbed wire entanglements surveillance applications such as industry facilities, security area, prison, military area, airport, etc. Currently, barbed wire entanglements surveillance is formed wire sensor network environment. Traditional wire sensor network guarantee high data transmission rate. Therefore, wire sensor network use fast fourier transform of data of high transmission rate for extraction of feature parameter. However, wireless sensor network in comparison with wire sensor network has very low data transmission rate. Therefore, wireless sensor network doesn't use fast fourier transform of wire sensor network for extraction of feature parameter. In this paper, proposed method use 1 level approximation coefficient of DTW(dynamic time-warped) algorithms based on DWT(discrete wavelet transform) for extraction of detection feature parameter and classification feature parameter for barbed wire entanglements surveillance. l level approximation coefficient have time information and frequency information of signal. Therefore, Dynamic time-warped algorithms based on discrete wavelet transform improve detection and classification of target rather than using energy of signal.
Multiple Injection Method for Bulk Syndiospecific Polymerization of Styrene with Homogeneous Metallocene Catalyst

At the early stage of a bulk syndiotactic polymerization of styrene, the homogeneous reactant mixture transforms to a slurry state consisting of a precipitated solid syndiotactic PS and a liquid reactant mixture. As the reaction proceeds, the slurry transforms into a wet and then a dried powder if proper methods are used to prevent agglomeration. When a large amount of catalyst and co-catalyst is added to the styrene to achieve a high conversion rate, the reactant mixture becomes a lumpy agglomeration and further control of the reaction is impossible. In this study, we introduce a novel approach to avoid such agglomeration while maintaining a high conversion rate. Instead of adding the catalyst and co-catalyst at once, the total amount of the catalyst and co-catalyst is divided into several parts and added successively. This method is found to be very effective to avoid the formation of agglomerate and to maintain a fairly high conversion rate of slurry into powdery product (up to 70 %). It is also observed that this method produces syndiotactic PS of a higher molecular weigh.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the behavior of swine slurry wastewater from bogen, in the treatment of Aerobic Liquid-Composting treatment by Aerobic Liquid-Composting using a mixer and Micro Air Diffusion pH level was at the beginning and its rise was seemingly related to VFA. This research aims to develop polymer composites which can be used for PEMFC separators by injection molding process. Considering the moldability and stiffness, we used PPS(Poly(phenylene sulfide)) and PP(Polypropylene) as base resin. In order to improve electrical conductivity and physical properties, we chose glass fiber, carbon fiber, carbon black, and both expanded graphite and synthetic graphite. The 3 type composites are prepared for injection molding of PEMFC separators. and CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) analysis was conducted to optimize injection processing parameters(injection pressure, heat time, mold temperature etc.). We did successfully fabricate the separators by injection molding, and measure the electrical conductivity of the samples by using four point probe device. Conclusively, PP/SG/CB composite showed better both electrical conductivity and moldability than the others.

Copoly(ether-ether-ester)s having flexible side chain were synthesized by polycondensation. Intrinsic viscosities of polymers were between 0.42 and 0.78dl/g in tetrachloroethane. The polymer structures were investigated by
-NMR and FT-IR, and thermal and liquid crystalline properties of polymers were measured by DSC, TGA, POM and XRD. As results of investigations, synthetic copolymers exhibited lower melting temperature than homopolymers. When the biphenylene units contents in copolymer were more than 60 mol %, nematic mesophase was observed, and the mesophase of synthetic polymers was dependent upon biphenylene content.

The plate loading test(PLT) and the field density test are mainly used on the construction of embankments to control the compaction of a limited layer thickness. These two test methods are very time consuming and inefficient, but they are still commonly used as the methods of quality control for soil compaction. In the last 3 decades, many devices such as geogauge, light falling weight deflectometer(LFWD) and dynamic cone penetrometer(DCP) etc., have been introduced into the engineering market with the objective of acquiring in situ stiffness properties of the compacted soil layers. Recently, a new type of sensor, called compactometer, which in mounted on the drum of a roller and measures impact forces continuously with GPS, called as Continuous Compaction Control(CCC), has come into use in many countries such as America, Germany, Japan and so on. The main objective of this paper is to assess the potential use of these new devices as quality control and assurance devices for compacted soil layers. Based on this study, compactometer and the LFWD results werestrongly correlated with the result obtained from the PLT and the field density test.

This study is to consider a variety design methods and trends applied in the recent apartment housing design competitions for Sejong city. Because the Sejong city project housing design competitions were the most recent and foremost architectural firms and construction companies in Korea were participated in the Sejong city project. Therefore, the new design concepts should be used in the entry works of the design competitions, these analysis and valuations can be utilized for future and advanced housing estate design.

Reuse feasibility of MBR effluent of S Electronic Company's organic wastewater as a LCD process water was investigated by a
pilot-scale RO membrane process. The effects of operating pressure and permeate flux at constant 85% recovery of RO membrane process using MBR effluent were analyzed for transmembrane pressure and period for CIP by membrane fouling as well as rejection of TOC and conductivity. MBR effluent requires additional treatment to meet the LCD process water quality criteria of TOC<1 mg/L and conductivity<
which is stringent as compared with those of conventional reuse water quality criteria. The RO process operated at 85% recovery with stepwise increasing of permeate fluxes from 12.5 LMH to 22.0 LMH was able to meet LCD process water quality criteria. However, the transmembrane pressure increased and the period of CIP decreased as increasing permeability fluxes due to fouling of RO membrane. The optimum operational conditions of RO membrane process were permeate fluxes of 16.5~18.5 LMH with operating pressure of

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the capability of representative existing methods through which OCR of clayey soils can be predicted utilizing PCPT data. The existing methods include Schmertmann method, Chen and Mayne method using pore water pressures measured immediately behind the cone base
, Lunne et al. method, and the latest Abu-Farsakh method. The lab. and in-situ test results, conducted in Incheon port area, were used for the study. The predicted OCR values from the methods were compared with the reference values estimated from laboratory oedometer test. Lunne et al.(k=0.5) method provided relatively better result while all the prediction methods underestimated OCR.

Industry structure and environment of the domestic bank have been changed by an influx of large foreign-banks and advanced financial products when the currency crisis erupted in Korea. In a competitive environment, accurate forecasts of changes and tendencies are essential for the survival and development. Forecast of whether to approve loan applications for customer or not is an important matter because that is related to profit generation and risk management on the bank. Therefore, this paper proposes the method to improve forecast accuracy of loan underwriting. Processes in experiments are as follows. First, we select the predictor variables which affect significantly to the result of loan underwriting by correlation analysis and feature selection technique, and then cluster the customers by the 2-Step clustering technique based on selected variables. Second, we find the most accurate forecasting model for each clustering by applying LR, NN and SVM. Finally, we compare the forecasting accuracy of the proposed method with the forecasting accuracy of existing application way.

Korea has achieved the current economy growth based on the industrial structure which was focused on large companies. However, small businesses can be of great importance in the national economy and also the information for small businesses can promote improvement in productivity and reinforcement of the capability at a time. Currently the national policy for strengthening information capabilities of small businesses is being confronted with various difficulties including a decrease in a national budget. In this paper I will examine the present policy related to the information for small businesses and draw several issues of it. Based on them, finally I will suggest a new policy direction with three categories, which are diversification of the consumer-directed support policy, efficiency of the performance-oriented support policy and long-term dynamic force for growth.

This research is about the effect on children's brain before and after learning Baduk. The research was performed on 20 pupils attending I Baduk school with the contrast group of 20 pupils who did not take Baduk instruction. The pre-test on the brain waves before learning Baduk were measured from October 27, 2008 to November 7, 2008 and the post-test on the brainwaves after learning Baduk were measured from November 2, 2009 to November 4, 2009. The result confirmed the differences of both resistance activity quotient and emotion quotient. The result of the study suggest baduk study possibility in positively affecting the subjects' brain activation and emotion.

The intrusion prevention system solution is receiving the spotlight as the next generation security system. Recently, imitation and infringement rights of an intellectual property are being recognized as impediments to nation's industrial growth. To prevent the huge loss which comes from theses impediments, many researchers are studying protection and efficient management of an intellectual property in various ways. Especially, the prediction of patent registration is very important part to protect and assert intellectual property rights. In this study, we propose the patent document analysis method by using text mining to predict whether the patent is registered or rejected. In the first instance, the proposed method builds the database by using the word frequencies of the rejected patent documents. And comparing the builded database with another patent documents draws the similarity value between each patent document and the database. In this study, we used k-means which is partitioning clustering algorithm to select criteria value of patent rejection. In result, we found conclusion that some patent which similar to rejected patent have strong possibility of rejection. We used U.S.A patent documents about bluetooth technology, solar battery technology and display technology for experiment data.
A Study on the Estimation of Click Through Rates from Internet Search Results and their Value in the Evaluation of the Attractiveness of a Business Idea

The establishment of a successful business must be preceded by comprehensive entrepreneurial preparation and research, as well as the development of a truly attractive business idea. Research to-date has tended to be based solely on factors relating to entrepreneurial activity or business performance. Research into the development and evaluation of a business idea has been insufficient. The purpose of this research is to propose a methodology for evaluating the attractiveness of a business idea objectively. This research measures the attractiveness of a business idea by the click through rate (CTR) to a website generated by specific keyword entry into internet search engines. The attractiveness of a business idea can be presented by the formula: number of relevant keyword searches x CTR on search results. As the number of searches for individual keywords is published by the search engines and it is possible to estimate CTRs for specific search results, we can objectively evaluate the attractiveness of a business idea. By analyzing keyword search data and CTRs obtained from search engines over a one month period, 1124 keywords that relate to foreign language education have been identified. A regression formula has also been derived, predicting the click through rate for search results. This research and its findings can be used to raise the success rates of new businesses; proposing objective guidelines for business idea development and evaluation. It is particularly meaningful because it introduces a new methodology to the arena.

We developed a framework for the classification of mobile government services and examined the domestic and foreign mobile government services to identify policy implications and dynamic trends of the mobile government. In the policy perspective, we suggest customer-centric service redesign, extensive adoption of mobile service solutions, and new service development reflecting new mobile trends.

Recently, Patient Related Management(PRM) is focused to be increase the number of patients in hospitals. Therefore, the participants of this research are inpatient(104) and out patient(98) in a tertiery hospital in Seoul also, the research purpose is to analysis the relationship between hospital satisfaction and loyalty in various aspects by questionnaires. In the results, the relationship between hospital satisfaction and loyalty was very significant. Among various hospital satisfactions, the reservation satisfaction for out-patients and non-medical service satisfaction for in-patients were significant factors. In the demographic factors, the relationship between age and the hospital loyalty is significant. Therefore, we should make efforts to increase the patient's satisfaction.
Use of PC Skillreporting system for Improving Quality of Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation in Fire EMT

PC Skillreporting feedback during cardiopulmonary resuscitaion would improve the performance of chest compression and ventilation during cardiac arrest. BLS skills were measured using Laerdal Skillreporter manikin(Laerdal, Norway) connected to a Laerdal PC Skillreporting system. Ventilation volume, chest compression accuracy, velocity of compression, depth of compression, hand position and chest recoil were measured between the two groups. Ventilation volume was significantly higher in the experimental group than that of control group(p<0.002). Chest compression depth was significantly higher in experimental group than that of control group(p=0.000). The quality of CPR can be improved by the use of PC Skillreporting system.
Analysis of Factors which Affect the Medical Utilization Fee after an Increase of Health Insurance Benefits for Patients with Serious Illnesses

According to a research analysis of the factors which affect the medical utilization fee after an increase of health insurance benefits for patients with serious illnesses based on 225 patients over 6 months, both before and after the increase of benefits, from January, 1st, 2005 to June 30th, and also from January, 1st, 2006 to June 30th. In terms of genders, 67.8% of males were affected, whereas only 32.2% of females were effected, a much higher rate of men than women. Men also had higher rates before and after the increase of benefits. Out of 5 categories related to medication and treatment, radiation testing was the most expensive at about 5,300,000, operation fees were 590,000, and costs of other testing approximately 200,000 with the least expensive category being 120,000 for medication. By looking at the relationship between the fees and increase of benefits, medication was a hospital charge (p<0.01), injection fees were hospital charges (p<0.01), operation fees were hospital charges (p<0.01). Medication fees (p<0.01) and injection fees (p<0.01) were found to be related.

The purpose of this study was to analyze regional medical utilization variation of hospital inpatients and to suggest policy for the allocation of medical service in Korea. We analyzed the relationship among medical service, city size, income level and regional medical utilization variation of hospital inpatients. The patient survey report of 2005 year in Ministry of Health and Welfare was used for this study. To adjust on the factor age and sex, we used direct standardization method. Findings of the research were summarized as follows ; First, standardization discharge rate on patient was different in the district. city type, and number of beds. Second, standardization length of stay of patient was different in region, city type, and number of beds.
Effects of Case Management Program on Glycemic Control among Patients with Diabetes

The purpose of this study was to confirm the effect by case management and durability of the effect, which targeted on the 115(51 men and 64 women) people who had undergone diabetes case management through the National Health Insurance Corporation from May 1. 2007 to June 30. 2007. In order to evaluate the effect of case management and durability, the study was examined just before the case management, right after case management, after 6 months and after 12 months through classifying case management 1(Group I) and case management 2(Group II). As a result, the participants' blood glucose level in the diabetes case management improved just after the case management compare to just before one. but it had a tendency to increase once more after 6 months and 12 months case management. In addition, it was confirmed to maintain the effect by the case management in Group II compare to Group I.
Fermentation Characteristics of Wild Grape (Vitis amurensis) Wine Prepared with Reed (Phragmites communis) Root

This study investigated the fermentation characteristics of wild grape(Vitis amurensis) wine prepared with reed(Phragmites communis) root. The reed root was added to the fermentation of wild grape wine in the quantities of 0.5%, 1.0% and 2.0%. An addition of reed root during yeast fermentation of wild grape wine decreased the acidity and increased pH of fermentation culture, thus enhancing the consumption of sugar and production of ethanol. Especially, the addition of 2% reed root led to production of about 13% ethanol in 4 day of fermentation time. The sensory evaluation showed that the wild grape wine fermented with 2.0% reed root was most acceptable.
A Study on Oral Symptoms and Oral Health Behavior among Secondary Students

This study carried out dental checkup targeting 251 students in the 1st grade of S middle school and 220 students in the 1st grade of S high school in Seoul Metropolis. The results are as follows. As for the experience of dental hypersensitivity to oral symptoms in middle-and-high school students, 23.2% of high school students had experience of painful tooth when drinking or eating cold and hot beverage or food, compared to 14.3% of middle school students, and showed significant difference(
, p<.05). As for the experience of painful teeth, 9.1% of high school students had experience of being sore, aching, and painful in the teeth, compared to 4.4% of middle school students, and showed significant difference(
, p<.05). As a result of the oral health behavior in middle-and-high school students, 48.6% of middle school students were indicated to be higher than 26.4% of high school students in the experience of having ever gone to dentist for the past 1 year, and showed statistically significant difference(

Clinical Characteristics and Prehospital care in Prehospital Cardiac Arrest Patients by Paramedic's Reports

In order to report characteristics of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patient in whom 119 rescuers used prehospital care by Paramedic's Reports. 1,016 out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients were transferred to hospitals by 119 rescuers between January 1st and December 31st, 2008. Prehospital reports of 983 cardiac arrest patients by 119 were analyzed. Shockable rhythm with AED use was 20.3%(VF 18.4%, VT 1.9%), then 66.5% of shockable cardiac arrest patients was resuscitated by AED. Bystander basic life support was 14.8%. There were significant differences in the recurrent survival rates between shockable rhythm and non-shockable rhythm(13.0% vs 2.0%,7.4%, p=0.000). There was also significant differences in the recurrent survival rates between adequacy rate of AED(21.6% vs 2.4%, p=0.000). But there was no significant differences in the recurrent survival rates between done bystander CPR and none(9.0% vs 5.5%, p=0.10). The performance of bystander CPR and usage of AED, and appropriate CPR done by 119 rescuers were unsatisfactory by paramedic's reports. To improve the adequacy of Basic life Support and to increase the performance on Advanced Life Suppport, we must challenge to develop the emergency medical systems.
