Formation of TiN films by PVD method and the DC and RF sputtering deposition method can be applied, the injected gas to generate plasma ionization rate of the film forming speed is slow away, anything to increase the adhesion between films limitations have. Intake-Air Flow and Distribution Characteristics of the Gasoline Engine Intake-Manifold

Intake-air flow and distribution characteristics of the 1600cc gasoline engine intake manifold have been studied using the computer simulation. Simulation has been conducted using both one-dimensional performance simulation and three-dimensional CFD software. Steady state flow simulation result of the intake manifold shows good distribution characteristics that the standard deviation of flow coefficients is below 1.0 percentage for both one- and three-dimensional simulation. Even though one-dimensional simulation result slightly overestimates compared with three-dimensional simulation result, both results show very good agreement in flow coefficient trend. Also, unsteady state simulation result shows consistent distribution characteristics with that of steady state. It is shown that unsteady state distribution characteristics might be able to be predicted through the steady state mass distribution result.
Study on the Optimal Control of the Plunge Grinding for Valve Parts in Batch Production

This paper proposed the algorithm to select optimal grinding condition for plunge grinding in the batch production unit. In order to apply to the proposed algorithm, the state variable for plunge grinding process was defined and the optimal grinding condition for each cycle in batch production was decided by genetic algorithm. Based on the optimized grinding condition in each cycle, the optimal grinding condition for whole batch production was selected by dynamic programming. The proposed algorithm was evaluated by computer simulation.
A Study on Performance Improvement of Light and Low-Noisy Standing Grinder with Vacuum Dust Collection Using a Cyclone Separator

A standing grinder with a vacuum dust collection, which works grinding a surface and collecting dust occurred simultaneously, is needed to clean the surface before painting, or to remove a weld bead burr in the industrial field. In recent it trends to be compact and potable with high grinding and dust collection power, and low noise. As increasing these grinding and dust collection power, the noise and weight of standing grinder occurs an important problem. To solve these problem, an efficient cyclone separator was designed and developed by Ansys-CFX analysis and experiments. A weight of the developed grinder part was 5.9kg, which can be easily handled on standing by workers. and a noise level of the developed prototype was measured 69.9 dB(A).

This study proposes the system of new small sluice gate operated without the upper concrete structure. The new mechanism is composed of hydraulic system, driving mechanism to feed the floodgate up and down, hydrological locking device, safety device and etc. The hydraulic pumps and control systems away from the location of the sluice gate systems are installed and controled in place. The feed device with the hydraulic rack, pinion and hydraulic actuator is installed on the side of the sluice gate. The following results take the advantages of cost reduction, operation safety and compact product.
Response Characteristics of the HIL System for Passenger Diesel Engine

A HIL(hardware-in-the-loop) system was established and the simulation was carried out to determine whether the system operates normally. The system consists of turbocharger test bench, HIL platform with real time S/W and DAQ, and engine model using Matlab/Simulink. In the simulation the supplied fuel rate is changed step-by-step from 1.8944 kg/h to 4.7360 kg/h. The change of air-fuel ratio is analyzed and observed whether the air-fuel ratio follow the target air-fuel ratio 32. When the supplied fuel rate is changed, the air-fuel ratio is converged to the target air-fuel ratio after about 20 seconds. And the vane duty ratio of turbine and the boost pressure of compressor are also changed properly. Therefore this HIL system can be used to develop the new turbocharger and improve the performance of the modified turbocharger.

This study investigates the plastic suspension assembly which is installed on inside of vehicle seat and support passenger's back to supply the comfortable ride performance. It aims to develop the structural design in order to support driver's back uniformly and assemble seat back frame with plastic suspension effectively. The part of suspension is designed by considering the body pressure distribution of driver and it has the same size as the practical model on simulation analysis. It is confirmed that the analysis result of plastic suspension approaches the practical measured values and the better body pressure distribution can be obtained as compared with the existing wire type.
Korean Skin Care on Japanese Tourist's Satisfaction and Revisit

The purpose of this study to identify Japanese tourist's satisfaction and revisit after they were treated Korean skin care. The questionnaire was administered to 319 Japanese who had experience to take Korean skin care. The result of empirical study were as follows. First, the result of choice property toward the visit-motivation of skin care salon, it has difference by the visit-motivation type. Second, the result of affection on client's satisfaction, choice property is affected client's satisfaction. Third, the choice factor of affection on intention about revisit after skin care is related on facility, image and side-service factor than service and price. Forth, choice property after they visited skin care salon, client's satisfaction is affected revisit.
Organizational Commitment and Its Related Factor among Medium Hospitals of Nurses

This study intends to investigate the organizational commitment and Its related factors among medium hospital of nurses. The collected data were analyzed descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS 19.0 Program. The score of level of organizational commitment was statistically significant difference according to working period, marital state, monthly income, personality, night-duty. The score of organizational commitment level correlated positively with job satisfaction and burnout. Stepwise multiple regression analysis for organizational commitment level revealed that the most powerful predictor was burnout, job satisfaction and night-duty explained 49.5% of the variance. Therefore, It suggested that goal of increasing nurses' organizational commitment in hospital should be helped them raise job satisfaction and decrease nurses' burnout and night duty.

Recently a rapidly changing business environment, business strong ability and operating an integrated information system is actively made. However, the result of the success factors affecting the overall project, but a study to analyze the project's success is not enough. In this study, the project implementation and operation of the critical success factors that can occur in the analysis of research and practice leading to the combination of variables derived from empirical studies find and isolate the success factors were over. Present study came from existing projects that can be the integrated system, representation factors affecting the implementation and operation of business processes in order to analyze the elements and procedures, performance capabilities of the organization, consultants and professionals involved with other related variables were analyzed by injecting. In this study, the consultants and experts showed that the variables are very significant rather than the organization's ability to perform business processes and procedures. This study will give a guideline as future success factors for building an integrated system of professional experiences.
A Feasibility Study for Evaluation Measurement of IT Outsourcing Service Quality applied on KS-SQI

The purpose of this study to develop IT Outsourcing service quality evaluation measurement have been frequently used to apply a model KS-SQI in the service industry. Primary needs fulfillment, unexpected benefits, reliability, individual empathy, positive assistance, accessibility and physical environment were selected as independent variable, they evaluate IT outsourcing service quality in order to verify their suitability as a tool for IT outsourcing service evaluation measurement, to analyze how that affects IT outsourcing satisfaction, and to investigate whether affecting IT outsourcing satisfaction on recontract intentions. To validate the hypothesis by path analysis conducted between variables using LISREL, primary needs fulfillment, reliability, individual empathy, positive assistance, accessibility and physical environment have significant effect on IT outsourcing satisfaction, but unexpected benefits don't have effect on IT outsourcing satisfaction, and IT outsourcing satisfaction showed significant effect on recontract intentions. Six Measurement tools has been proved to be suitable as a IT outsourcing service quality evaluation tool. Contribution of this study to evaluate the quality of IT outsourcing services, KS-SQI model developed by applying the measuring tool was achieved theoretical extensions and practical aspects of a recontract with the provider of IT outsourcing and IT outsourcing services for as a tool to assess the quality of can be used.

The purpose of this study is to present and review the possible effect of the learning paradigm shift from traditional method to ubiquitous learning, the societal issues that need to be address in order to design a new pedagogical platform trending from e-learning to m-learning and now the u-learning. That without the proper study of how learning environment may affect the learning process of an individual will lead to poor quality of education. This new era of learning environment offer a big opportunity for "anytime, anywhere" learning. Thus, Lifelong learning is at hand of everyone. Maximizing the benefit of new trend will be a great help and addressing the limitations will lead to quality education. The components that comprise the ubiquitous learning are also discussed together with the technologies that will make it possible. The research learning domains that are in progress which shows that the interest in pervasive or lifelong learning attracted the interest of many research institutions. In this paper has been developed a process model for the international technical cooperation. Model consists of five steps: Beginning phase, Partner search phase, contract phase, execution phase and exit phaseInthe beginning phase. The industries need to know about their own require and in the partners search phase they have difficulty navigating partner and to find the fit partner. In agreement phase the industries have problme with international law and in the execution phase they have cultural difficulties. Therefore, the government may need to seek support programs for each step.
The Effects of Internal, External Environment and Entrepreneurship on the Performance of Social Enterprise: Focused on the Network Activity

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors influencing performance of internal, external environment and entrepreneurship in the social enterprise with network activity. This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to performance of social enterprise, internal, external environment, entrepreneurship and network activity. The proposed model is analyzed to target social entrepreneurs. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, organizational culture positively influence entrepreneurship. Second, environmental uncertainty positively influence entrepreneurship. Third, entrepreneurship positively influence managerial and social performance. Finally, organizational culture to entrepreneurship for high group of network activity is significantly larger than those for low group of network activity. In addition, environmental uncertainty to entrepreneurship for low group of network activity is significantly larger than those for high group of network activity.
The Effects of Continued Usage Intention of Rural Tourism Social Media

This study aimed to reveal the relationship between the rural tourism social media use motivation and satisfaction, trust, continued usage intention. In order to carry out the empirical study 310 survey questionnaires were collected in rural tourism social media users, PASW18 and Lisrel 8.54 Statistics package were utilized for analysis of SEM. The study results were as follows: First, social media use motivation had a positive influence upon satisfaction, Secondly, satisfaction had a positive influence on trust, continued usage intention. Thirdly, trust had a positive influence upon continued usage intention. The study findings can provide the rural tourism with social media as well as practitional foundational upon which to establish effective marketing strategy.
The Effects of Character Pattern on Stress Resistance -of Elderly People-

This study tried to find out whether character patterns of elderly people are related to stress resistance using brain waves, personal physiological index of cranial nerves. The data were gathered by 1,108 seniors(age 65 and over) who were requested to check brain waves from September, 2007 to December, 2010 in Korean Institute for Research of Psychiatry. 552 of the subject showed the propensity to positive behavior, 556 of them showed the propensity to negative behavior. 735 of the subject showed the propensity to cheerful emotion, 373 of them showed the propensity to depressed emotion. As a result the propensity of emotion was significantly related to the stress resistance, but not the propensity of behavior. In other words, the propensity to cheerful emotion showed higher average stress resistance index than the propensity to depressed emotion. So the person who has the propensity to cheerful emotion can cope with stress better. This study shows the propensity to emotion is related to stress resistance. The influence of the propensity to emotion and how it works should to be studied.
The Modification of Serial Cadastral Map and Its Applications to Notification of Topographical Maps

This study examined the method of making high-quality serial cadastral map with field surveying, the renewal and applications of serial cadastral map which is made for the application of notification of various topographical maps, and related legal and institutional contents. The results of the study are as follows. First, we suggested the way of modification that enables preexisting methods to connect with field surveying in order to improve utilizability of serial cadastral map that is not utilized properly. In addition, we came up with legal grounds from a current law, 'act on surveying watercourses survey and cadastre' for the modification. We also examined legal and institutional factors, the renewal and application of various notifications of topographical maps for efficient application, and the application of modified serial cadastral map for field surveying. Once the current cadastral map is modified based on the results of our study, it is possible that notification of topographical maps gets more accurate, and serial cadastral map can be used for field surveying. In addition, the modification can be utilized for a step-by-step strategy that reduces the existing cadastral map managed as 3 types into the cadastral map managed as 1 type.

Europe outlined its technological development strategy in the "EU 2020 Strategy". The goal is to lift the EU's technological level above that of the United States or Japan. In particular the EU 2020 Strategy aims to make the EU the world's leading knowledge society. The research purpose of that article is to focus on international technological cooperation. Chapter two examines the EU's international technological cooperation approach. Chapter three analyses the EU 2020 Strategy in terms of development, background and content. Chapter four looks at the involved countries for technological cooperations and scrutinises possible policy alternatives. In chapter five is given a conclusion.
Difference of Conflict Levels of Nurses and Nurse-aids against Doctors

This study seeks to measure the level and root causes of occupational and interpersonal conflicts between nurses and nurse aids against hospital doctors, in order to help increase motivation of both groups in their workplace and enable more effective nursing care to patients. 271 nurses and nurse-aids working in small- and medium-sized hospitals were therefore given a series of surveys on topics such as conflicts with doctors, communications, cause of conflicts and solutions. Analysis of the survey result shows that both nurses and nurse-aids share relatively similar level and causes of conflicts in their place of work; however, nurse-aids felt more stress when their responsibilities seem to be duplicated or blurred from those of doctors and nurses. When conflicts actually occur with doctors, both groups would first try to avoid it one way or another. Then, nurses would make others cave in or file complaints through union, while nurse aides would seek help from supervisors or try to meet them half way.
A study on the general health status related hypertension and oral health status of rural elder

Purpose: The aim of the study was to identify the oral health status and general health status of rural elder in order to develop of oral health management program and improving quality of life. Methods : 150 elder participated in the study, lived in GoRung Gun city, visited public health center, from 1st July 2009 to 30st July 2009. Results: The majority elder had hypertension and took medicine for hypertension regularly. The subjective oral health status was bad and the majority of experience of scaling and oral examination were none. General health management was influenced by education and economic status and oral health status was influenced by age, education and economic status. Age and economic status were effect for oral examination. Conclusion: These results may contribute to a better understanding of general health status, oral health status and management of rural elder. The relation between oral management and general health management was influenced. These findings are basis to development of oral health management program including scaling and oral examination for rural elder.
Relationships among Health behavior, Social Support, Behavior Pattern, and Self-Efficacy of Hospital Nurses

This study intends to investigate the health behavior, self-efficacy, behavior pattern and social support among hospital of nurses, to provide the basic data for self-efficacy promoting program and social support promoting program. The self-administered questionnaires were given to 202 nurses employed in hospital during the period from June 10 to June 26, 2011. As a results, the score of level of self-efficacy was statistically significant difference according to educational status, working period, marital state, place of duty, religion, night-duty, distribution of household labor, exercise and stress management. The score of level of social support was statistically significant difference according to place of duty, religion and distribution of household labor, alcohol drinking, smoking, and stress management. But the score of level of behavior pattern was not statistically significant difference according to self-efficacy and social support. In correlation, the score of self-efficacy level correlated positively with social support and not with behavior pattern.
Context-Awareness Technology for Location Based-Service for Ubiquitous Learning

In this paper, we defined constructivism and ontology theory and associate it in Location Based Service ubiquitous learning. And this paper aims to provide a clear vision about location based service (LBS) ubiquitous learning. The typical ubiquitous learning involving the Context Aware Intelligent system was presented. Also the Architecture for learning environment including the key idea and technical concept is being presented in this paper. Guided with these principles and with the advancement of information and communication technology the context-awareness based on Artificial intelligence for Location based Service for ubiquitous Learning was conceptualized. U-learning for Location Based Service is presented here and the concept behind this new learning paradigm. The learning environment architecture which comprises the entire component is illustrated here.
Preliminary Analysis of the Relationship between Language Use and Subjective Well-being

Individuals' language use has been hypothesized as a useful tool for the analysis of psychological aspects. This study examined relationships between language use and their subjective well-being, which consists of life satisfaction and feeling about life. For this, 126 college students wrote an essay and responded to the subjective well-being scale. Then we analyzed their writings through KLIWC (Korean Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count) and compared language use between the high and the low groups of subjective well-being. We also examined the relationships between KLIWC factors and the two sub-factors of subjective well being. The results shows that various individual factors of KLIWC reflect participants' subjective well-being and provids preliminary descriptive data on language use and subjective well-being.

The study confirms that management innovation infra has an influence on the HRM practices. As for data processing, this research made a frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis were utilized. The results using structural equation model indicated that servant leadership had directly positive effect on job satisfaction. and servant leadership had directly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, job satisfaction had directly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The implications of the study suggest that sports organization administrator should strengthen servant leadership to build up effectiveness management.

Impact on Job Satisfaction to Job Stress of Physician Assistant Nurses

This study aims to investigate the factors influencing job satisfaction to job stress of physician assistant(PA) nurses. This research design was a descriptive study. The subjects in this study were 104 PA nurses. Data were collected from September 1, 2010 to January 10, 2011, and analyzed by SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program. The mean score of men on the job stress was 43.47(
), The mean score of women was 45.07(
). The mean score of job satisfaction was 2.72(
). There was no statistical difference between general characteristics and job satisfaction. There were statistical difference between unmarried subjects and organizing system(p<.05), inadequate compensation(p<.01). In the results of multivariate regression analysis, adjusted
value was 0.567. The model fit was 56.7%. Job satisfaction was low in the insufficient job control and inadequate organizing system. It is hospital policies for the reduction of job stress(particularly, insufficient job control, and organizing system stress).
Microbiological Evaluation for HACCP System Application of Green Vegetable Juice Containing Lactic Acid Bacteria

This research performed to evaluate a production processes reporting by the HACCP system of green vegetable juice products, containing lactic acid bacteria, stage of processing raw materials agricultural products and production facilities of general bacteria and pathogenic micro organism. General bacteria are found from four samples of storage of agricultural products at process stage and water was detected 8.67~14.67 CFU/ml. However, all samples were detected less than 105 CFU/ml as a legal standards after the process of UV sterilization. For the outcome of experiment of E.coli, E.coli O157:H7, B.cereus, L.moonocytogenes, Salmonella spp, Staph.aureus as the food poisoning bacterial, E.coli was detected until UV pre-step process in storage process and B.cereus was detected partly till 1st washing. Since all bacterial, Yeast and Mold are detected in main materials, pre-control method is a necessary to establish for decreasing with a number of initial bacteria of main materials and it is considered to establish the effective ways of washing and sterilization such as production facilities for cross contamination prevention of bacteria and Sthaphylococcus. Based on above results, the process of UV sterilization should be managed with CCP as an important process to reduce or eliminate the general and food poisoning bacterial of green vegetable juice products, including lactic acid bacteria. Therefore, it is considered to need an exhaustive HACCP plan such as control manual of UV sterilization, solution method, verification, education and training and record management.
Drinking Culture Among Korean College Students

The purpose of this study was to conduct a survey of general status of drinking culture among college students in Korea. Three hundred college students answered the self-administered questionnaire from May 6 to May 10 in 2009. The questionnaire consisted of drinking-related behavior by gender, recognition and need for moderation in drinking program, and the reason for stopping drinking by gender. The statistical method was done by SPSS WIN version 14.0. The first drinking time was high school comprising 41.0% of the respondents. The reason for drinking was to get the personal relationship. The experience of blackout was 50.3% in twice a year and 26.0% in twice per six months. The reasons for stopping drinking were health problem(36.9%), personal relationship(34.5%), and financial difficulty(20.8%). These results will make it possible to establish the right drinking habit, prevention of sexual violence and vehicle accident and health promotion of the students.

Related Factors and Oral health Status of Some Manufacturering Workers

The Purpose of this study was to examine the factors affecting oral health status of some workers. Answer sheets for questionnarie for 178 workers at Changwon city, Korea, were collected and analyzed using SPSS 19.0. The number of respondents who have visited dental clinic is lower among group with dental caries than group without dental caries. The respondents who have scaling corresponds to 31.3% in the group with dental caries and a little bit lower percentage is shown in the group without dental cares(p<.05). Among those with dental caries, the respondents who experienced tooth pains are to 51.3% and those who had frequent blooding in gum 48.7% and those who had ordors inside the mouth 53.8%. The number of respondents who had scaling within last one year among the group with gingival inflammation is lower than those without it(p<.001). In the group with gingival inflammation, no smokers are corresponding to 13.9%(p<.01) and those with more than 3 times brush of tooth 4.7% and those with oral hygiene devices are to 5.9%. Important variables which have effects on dental caries are understood as self-evaluation for dental health, dental floss or interdental brush, ordors in the mouth. Also variables related with gingival inflammation are considered as tooth brush before bed time, tongue pain, orders in the mouth, the cold as ice tooth and tooth scaling experience. In summary, Oral health education is needed to increase the motivation of industrial workers to control their basic dental disease.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Socioeconomic factors on medical information resources when medical consumer choose inpatient or outpatient services. The target population was 12,249 people aged above 19 in Chungcheongbuk-do. The sample was accrued for the period of 3 months in 2008 by face to face interview of direct visiting from systematic sampling method. There was a significant difference in the use of personal informer and public informer by sex(p<0.001). There was a significant difference in the use of experimental and professional informer by living area(p<0.001). In conclusion, the results suggest that there is relationship between medical information resource and socioeconomic factors of medical consumer.
Effect of Thyroid Cancer on Ultrasonographic Intention

This study was attempted to identify the effect of thyroid cancer on ultrasonographic intention. Data was surveyed using interview and questionnaires by 205 subjects in a general hospital who was located in Seoul from December 13, 2010 to January 31, 2011. The results were as follows ; First, in the good self-conscious health status, 85.5% of the subjects had an intention for thyroid cancer ultrasonography according health habit was significantly higher than 70.0% of the subjects didn't have an intention for thyroid cancer ultrasonography(
=6.73 p<.01). Secondly, the odds ratio of subjects with a good self-conscious health status was 2.53, had a higher intention to participate in thyroid ultrasonography than subjects with a poor self-conscious health status(95% Cl=1.39-12.7). In conclusion, we need to provide education to subjects in poorer health so that they will also participate in thyroid cancer ultrasonography. Active promotion should also be performed to elevate knowledge about the prevention of thyroid cancer.
Factors Related to Knowledge, Health Belief and Sick Role Behavior to the Coronary Artery Disease among Patients with Coronary Artery Disease

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of knowledge, health belief and sick role behavior, and the influencing factors on them among the patients with coronary artery disease. The study subjects were 168 patients diagnosed as having coronary artery disease at a university hospital during the period from July 1st, to August 31th, 2010. As a results, Based on the mean scores of knowledge about coronary artery disease according to the general characteristics, they were significantly higher in males than in females(p=0.033). The mean scores of health belief were significantly higher according to age decrease(p=0.043). The mean scores of sick role behaviors were significantly higher in females than in males(p=0.006), with their increasing tendency in the age range from 40's to 60's and decreasing tendency in the age over 70's(p=0.015), the group with religion were significantly higher than the one without(p=0.050). In terms of the mean scores of knowledge and sick role behaviors about coronary artery disease according to the related characteristics, there was a significant difference with the time period elapsed after diagnosed as coronary artery disease, frequency of admissions, perception about the disease, information gathering through mass com. but in terms of those of health belief, there was a not significant difference in all the variables. The significantly influencing factors on degree of knowledge by multivariate regression analysis included degree of perception about a disease, scores of sick role behavior, presence of coronary artery diseases in a family or friends, and the time period elapsed after diagnosed as having coronary artery disease. Those on health belief included age and scores of sick role behavior, and those on sick role behaviors included score of knowledge, perception about a disease, age, BMI, and religion. The results showed a significant difference with their general characteristics or coronary artery disease-related factors.
Analysis of the Influence of Physical Function and Social Support on Depressive Symptom in the Community Elderly Using the Structural Equation Model

This study was performed to determine the levels of depressive symptoms among community elderlies and to reveal its related factors, specifically aimed at revealing factors such as social support, family support and physical function. The interviews were performed, during the period from April 1st, to June 30th, 2010, to 995 elderlies in Daejeon city. As a results, social support, family support, ADL and IADL was found to be in a positive correlation with depressive symptoms. With the analysis of covariance structure, social support was more influential on the level of depressive symptom than family support and physical function. It was found to have the inter-relational effects that the greater the social support, family support and physical function, the lower the level of depressive symptoms.
A feasibility study on new stimulation method in fMRI language examinations using custom designed images

The purpose of this work is to know the validity of a new stimulation method in cognitive functional imaging using custom-designed images correspond to words or syllables improving the shortcomings of existing method using text. From March 2011 to May five Subjects in need of language related functional MRI scanning were selected and both of text stimulating method and image stimulating method sacanning were carried out three times each. Using 3.0T Philps MRI machine and Invivo Co's Eloquence system, data acquisition was performed with EPI-BOLD technique. Post processing was performed with SPM 99 while the activated signals were determined within 95 percent confidence level.The number of activation clusters and the activation ratio inside ROI were compared. As as result, all of the subject showed activation inside Broca area but it did not have statistical significance. In conclusion, the image sitimulation method has potential because image itself is a common means of recognition and it can be recognised easily even if there language barrier. This stimulation method can be applied to replacing the exising scanning method especially in the elderly, infants, foerigners who may not fully understand about the examination.
The resistance rate of anti-tuberculosis drug isolated from initial tuberculosis patients at a general hospital in Daejeon area

According to the nationwide survey of tuberculosis from 1965 to 1995, the incidence and drug resistance rate of tuberculosis have been decreased in Korea, but the prevalence of multidrug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis is still a serious problem. The purpose of this study is to investigate the drug resistance rate and pattern of tuberculosis in Daejeon from 2001 to 2008. Of the total 581cases where the drug susceptibility test was performed, resistance to at least one anti-TB drug was found in 104 cases(17.9%) of these, 68(11.7%) were resistant to at least INH and 41(7.1%) were resistant to at least RFP. Single-drug resistance was found for isolates from 37(6.4%) ; 18(3.1%) of these were resistant to INH and 5(0.9%) to RFP. Multidrug resistance, where TB was resistant to at least isoniazid and refampin, was found in 35 cases(6.0%). and Factors associated with MDR-TB included age under 40-60.The drug-resistance rate of pulmonary TB, especially MDR-TB, is higher in the initial treated patients at a private referral hospital than in those in the pubulic sector. Initial drug resistance is common and the drug susceptibility test is informative for pulmonary TB patients who have not received previous TB treatment. The need for an improved control program, coupled with early diagnosis of MDR-TB, to reduce the spread and development of resistance. Multidrug resistance rate is still problem in korea. Efforts to decrease multidrug resistance rate either independently or in cooperation with the pubulic sector will be needed.
Effect of the increased sympathetic outflow on the changes of muscle tone and central nervous system excitability in chronic stroke patients

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the increased sympathetic outflow on the changes of muscle tone and central nervous system excitability in the chronic stroke patients. This study was conducted from October 12th 2009 to December 4th 2009. 30 patients with chronic hemiplegia for at least 6 months were participated. Before and during the mental arithmetic, static handgrip and post-handgrip ischemia tasks, the central nervous system action potentials and global synkinesis level were compared. The central nerve action potentials were measured with H/Mmax ratio and V/Mmax ratio. To obtain global synkinesis level, surface electromyography data were digitized, processed to root mean square. In our study, The global synkinesis level during knee flexion and extension was decreased in the mental arithmetic and in the post-handgrip ischemia task(p<.05) but not in the grip task. Also, V/Mmax ratio was decreased all in the three task(p<.05). In conclusion, we know that the central nervous system excitability and the muscle tone in chronic hemiplegic patients were decreased by the increased sympathetic outflow.
A Study on Acculturation of North Korean Defectors in South Korea

The purpose of this study was to analyze a qualitative research on the essential structure of the acculturation of North Korean defectors, who settled in South Korea. The participants in this study were nine North Korean defectors who had resided in the city of D, South Korea, for three years or more after defecting from North Korea. After an in-depth interview, collected data were analyzed by applying Colaizzi's phenomenological method. As a result, their acculturation were classified into three categories : 'heterogeneity coming from different cultures', 'undergoing various sufferings after defection', and 'trying to tide over the difficulties in the actuality'. And 11 clusters of theme were selected. It's basically meant in this study to find out problems North Korean Defectors encountered and their process of overcoming the difficulties in an effort to step up the acculturation of the new settlers and ease their difficulties. And it's suggested that adjustment programs should be provided for them to fit into South Korean society.
Relationship between Impaired Fasting Glucose and Periodontal Health among Adults

This aim of this study is to assess the association of between glucose level and periodontal diseases in Korea adults. The data for analysis were obtained from Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2009. A total of 7,062 subjects who aged 19 years and above, underwent a medical and dental checkups. The prevalence of undiagnosed diabetes group was 27%, and the prevalence of impaired fasting glucose(IFG) group was 41.2%, diabetes group was 43.6% with periodontitis. IFG and diabetes had significantly higher prevalence of periodotontits compared to those having normal after adjusting confounding variables; the odds ratios were 1.35 (95% confidence interval: 1.17 to 1.55) and 1.27 (95% confidence interval: 1.02 to 1.58), respectively. This study has suggested that diabetes increases the risk of periodontal disease. Proactive, preventative dental and diabetes self care, as well as regular dental and diabetes assessment, are important management strategies for impaied fasting glucose and periodotnal health.
A Study on the Awareness of medical and Health-Related Majors on Drinking Culture

The purpose of this study was to examine the drinking awareness of medical and health-related majors in a bid to find out the impact of their drinking awareness on drinking. The subjects in this study were 153 students who were selected by rendem sampling from colleges located in two different cities in the province. Data collection was performed from may 1 to september 20, 2011 with total 153 college students. Out of them, 86 students majored in medical departments, and 67 students were in the health-related departments. After a self-administered survey was conducted, the following findings were given: A great deal of the students who accounted for 75.8 percent were ever disturbed in daily routine life by drinking over the past year. As for the influence of drinking awareness on the amount of drinking, the amount of drinking was under the significant influence of the following five items. The first was that alcohol was an energizer(p<.001), and the second was that drinking led to a sound sleep(p<.01). The third was that I drank too much with my close friends often(p<.05), and the fourth was that alcohol used as a hangover-chaser was conducive to a hangover(p<.05). The fifth was that alcohol had the largest impact on the liver(p<.05). All the variables made a 43.4% prediction of the amount of drinking. In conclusion, the medical and health-related majors who learned about the impact of drinking on the human body in a firsthand or secondhand manner had a tendency to drink a less amount of alcohol and do less binge drinking. It's advisable to take advantage of the knowledge of medical and health-related majors on the human body and drinking as resources of anti-drinking education.
A Study on the Oral Health Behavior Status and Oral Health Awareness of Pregnant Women -Demographic Socialogical Variables-

The purpose of this study is to emphasis the fact that the oral cavity should be well-managed as it is where the intake of the valuable nutrition for the baby is made, among many other important factors and changes that the pregnant women go through as they prepare for the birth of a human being for 10 months. For this, we surveyed the management of the oral hygiene and the awareness of oral health by the pregnant women. The result showed that the nauseating during the brushing of the teeth and the use of the oral hygienic products varied among different standard of lives with statistical significance. As for the standard of living, those in higher level showed also a higher level of the use, while the middle and low standard of living showed lower level of usage of the oral hygienic products. In case of the dental treatment during the pregnancy, most of the interviewees answered they do not receive dental treatment during pregnancy in the fear of bad influence on the baby and the potential risk of congenital anomaly. The perceived necessity of the education on the oral health was generally high. And, for the contents of such education, they preferred the timing of the dental treatment, the content of the treatment, and misunderstandings regarding the dental treatment.
Decrease in Intrinsic Objectionable Odors and Change of Gastrodin Contents in Lactic acid Treated Gastrodia elate Blume

This study was carried out to decrease intrinsic objectionable odor, bitter and fishy taste and change the biobeneficial components (gastrodin and p-hydroxybenzyl alcohol) of Gastrodia elate Blume. First of all, Gastrodia elata Blume. was dipped in the rice-washed water and rice-bran solution fermented with Lactobacillus brevis and Lactobacillus plantarum. The objectionable odor, bitter and fishy taste were decreased considerably with the treatments. Gastrodia elata Blume. was also dipped in organic acids (10 different varieties). The result showed that the most effective treatment to reduce objectionable odor, bitter and fishy taste of Gastrodia elata Blume. was treated with 1.0% lactic acid. Eleven different kinds of volatile components such as acetaldehyde, formic acid ethyl ester, acetic acid ethyl ester, 4-methylphenol and 3-hydroxy-2-butanone were separated from Gastrodia elata Blume when treated with or without 1.0% lactic acid. 4-Methylphenol, which is an objectionable odor in Gastrodia elata Blume, decreased with the treatment of lactic acid. Foot-and-mouth disease occurs in cattle or wild animal with two hooves such as cow, pig, sheep, goat, and deer. In this study, survey on knowledge, awareness, and lifestyle about foot-and-mouth disease was performed on 398 elementary school in 5 regions in Gyeonggi-do. 49 people (92.5%) from the group who have been educated about the foot-and-mouth disease replied that they have heard of foot-and-mouth disease and 139 people (68.5%) from the group who have not been educated about the disease replied that they have not heard of the disease. This study attempted to identify the relationship of functional health status, satisfaction of customized home visiting health service, and quality of life in vulnerable elderly. This research people 399 total in the object. Data gathering period was from June to September of 2010 and measurement tool used for this study was the house visiting health service recording sheet, recommended by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients with SPSS/WIN 17.0 version. Functional health status and satisfaction of customized home visiting health service positively correlated with quality of life. Functional health status not correlated with satisfaction of customized home visiting health service. Results of this study can be leveraged as complementary information for the effective management of customized home visiting health service subjects.

The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health status and knowledge of dental laboratory technology student for the community to improve oral health and oral health education to help. The subjects in this study were 160 students in dental laboratory technology at the University located in Chung-cheong and surveyed from November 2010 to December 2010. The finding of the study were as follows: The differences in oral care knowledge according general characteristics of subjects was statistically significant to the gender was higher in men than women, age was higher and higher the grade was higher in grade level(p<0.05). The differences in oral care knowledge according oral health status of subjects was statistically significant to regarding the frequency of tooth brushing was highest rate in five times, method was on the side tooth higher and using the dental floss and interdental brush are used by the higher availability(p<0.05). Thus, in the classroom oral health education and continuous learning from the people know that oral health care could differ. Oral health education in local communities to increase opportunities and people will need to improve oral health.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the balance reaction characteristics of dementia patients. Under the object of 30 dementia patients, they were divided into moderate group and severe group and examined the correlation among Clinical test of sensory interaction and balance(CTSIB), Berg balance scale(BBS) and Bathel index(BI) according to perceptional function. As a result, CTSIB was no significant difference between severe group and very severe group and BBS was significant difference between severe group (

Risk Factors for Recurrence of Gastric Cancer after Curative Resection in One University Hospital

In order to investigate recurrence rate and risk factors for recurrence of gastric cancer after curative resection, we examined blood biochemical profile and clinicopathological features of 386 gastric cancer patients by using medical charts and data of hospital cancer registry from September 2010 to May 2011. Chi-square test and logistic regression analyses were performed to identify risk factors. The recurrence rate of all gastric cancer patients was 2.6%; The recurrence rate by gender was 3.45% in male and 0.89% in female, and that was 4 times higher in male than in female. On univariate logistic regression analyses, lymph node metastases(OR=8.793), Helicobactor pylori infecton(OR=6.495), abnormal total cholesterol(OR=14.333) were related to recurrence. On multivariate logistic regression analyses, lymph node metastases and H. pylori infection were very important risk factors for recurrence of gastric cancer. In conclusion, lymph node metastases, H. pylori infection, and total cholesterol control were very important to prevent recurrence of gastric cancer, and it needs to monitor blood biochemical (C-reactive protein, carcinoembryonic antigen, etc) for the early detection of gastric cancer recurrence.
Validity and Reliability of the Korean Version of the London Handicap Scale

The purpose of the this study was to identify validity and reliability of the Korean version of the London Handicap Scale (K-LHS) measuring participation restriction for stroke survivors within outpatient rehabilitation setting. 54 stroke patients participated. The reliability was good with a Cronbach's
and intraclass correlation coefficient of .791 and .983, respectively. The results of exploratory factor analysis was that the K-LHS was constructed two factors and explanation power was 72.32%. There are significant correlation between K-MBI and subitems of K-LHS (r=-.454 ~ -.819)(p<.01), except economic item. Because the K-LHS seems to be a valid and reliable, thus, it is considered to be appropriate as a tool to measure participation restriction of stroke patients in clinical practice.

In this paper, multiplexing automation system will be proposed for the automobile electromotive mirror using CAN(Controller Area Network) protocol which has been known that it has a high reliability on the signal in the various network protocols. To do this, a master controller and two (input/output) slave controllers (H/W) are being made and application layer (S/W) is being programmed for effective going and communicating between subsystems. The possibility of the effectiveness of application and control ability will be shown when the system has minimum electrical lines by testing the experimental systems which was made up of the automobile electromotive mirror.

Research and development for the technology, that is about maintenance and accidents prevention of underground power distribution line, are demanding. The precise detection of leakage point of underground power line is very important, because it is difficult to detect the exact location of a fault in underground power line and to repair faults. When earth electric potential is measured to detect underground electric leakage point after transmitting AC electric pulse wave to underground power line, it must be measured in a specific half period of AC pulse wave because the distribution of the electric earth potential varies with the polarity of the transmitted wave. In this paper we proposed the measurement of half period modulated earth potential as a method to detect a underground leakage point. And We compared the proposed method with other methods. Through experiments we verified that the proposed method can be implemented and operated properly.

This paper investigates the dq current trajectory for maximum torque per ampere(MTPA) operation of an interior PM synchronous motor for HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle). Based on the dq current trajectory for the MTPA operation derived from the motor parameters, the change of the MTPA operating point for the variation of the motor parameters including the magnet flux and the dq inductances is considered. The dq current trajectory for MTPA operation is verified through the experiment.

A flexible mechanism is proposed in this paper to improve the dynamic response performance of a traffic flow control system in an urban area. The roads, vehicles, and traffic control systems are all modeled as intelligent systems, wherein a wireless communication network is used as the medium of communication between the vehicles and the roads. The necessary sensor networks are installed in the roads and on the roadside upon which reinforcement learning is adopted as the core algorithm for this mechanism. A traffic policy can be planned online according to the updated situations on the roads, based on all the information from the vehicles and the roads. This improves the flexibility of traffic flow and offers a much more efficient use of the roads over a traditional traffic control system. The optimum intersection signals can be learned automatically online. An intersection control system is studied as an example of the mechanism using Q-learning based algorithm, and simulation results showed that the proposed mechanism can improve the traffic efficiency and the waiting time at the signal light by more than 30% in various conditions compare to the traditional signaling system.

In this paper, using the adaptive sliding mode observer for speed sensorless vector control is proposed. Adaptive sliding mode observer of the motor stator coordinate system using the voltage equations of the rotor flux components are observed. Motor speed was obtained by the Lyapunov function is estimated by the relationship further. In order to establish such a control scheme based on the way conventional PI controller and sliding mode observer annexing characteristics of the system through simulation and experiment were compared. According to analysis by comparison with the usefulness of the system was confirmed.
Local Region Spectral Analysis for Performance Enhancement of Dementia Classification

Alzheimer's disease (AD) and vascular dementia (VD) are the most common dementia. In this paper, we proposed a region selection for classification of AD, VD and normal (NOR) based on micro-Raman spectra from platelet. The preprocessing step is a smoothing followed by background elimination to the original spectra. Then we applied the minmax method for normalization. After the inspection of the preprocessed spectra, we found that 725-777, 1504-1592 and 1632-1700
regions are the most discriminative features in AD, VD and NOR spectra. We applied the feature transformation using PCA (principal component analysis) and NMF (nonnegative matrix factorization). The classification result of MAP(maximum a posteriori probability) involving 327 spectra transformed features using proposed local region showed about 92.8 % true classification average rate.

Electric Motorcycle is one of the most promising candidates for future transportation because of its outstanding fuel economy and environmental pollution. Before prototyping a realistic electric motorcycle, a reliable simulation program is required to test the capacities of the power sources and optimize the parameters of an electric motorcycle. This process can reduce the expenses during the designing of an electric motorcycle system. In this paper, we present an electric motorcycle system simulation program implemented on Matlab, which can model drivetrain and powertrain systems in an easy, natural way within Simulink and PSAT. And the analysis of design parameters such as max power, capacity, state of charge, slope angle is carried out by the simulation and experimental method. The predicted results by the development model were a good agreement with experimentally obtained results.
Nonlinear Characteristics of Fuzzy Inference Systems by Means of Individual Input Space

In fuzzy modeling for nonlinear process, typically using the given data, the fuzzy rules are formed by the input variables and the space division by selecting the input variable and dividing the input space for each input variables. The premise part of the fuzzy rule is identified by selection of the input variables, the number of space division and membership functions and the consequent part of the fuzzy rule is identified by polynomial functions in the form of simplified and linear inference. In general, formation of fuzzy rules for nonlinear processes using the given data have the problem that the number of fuzzy rules exponentially increases. To solve this problem complex nonlinear process can be modeled by separately forming the fuzzy rules by means of fuzzy division of each input space. Therefore, this paper utilizes individual input space to generate fuzzy rules. The premise parameters of the fuzzy rules are identified by Min-Max method using the minimum and maximum values of input data set and membership functions are used as a series of triangular, gaussian-like, trapezoid-type membership functions. And lastly, using the data which is widely used in nonlinear process we evaluate the performance and the system characteristics.
The Study on the Reflection Coating Design Scheme in the Thin-Film Silicon Solar Cell

This paper presents a reflection coating design scheme in the thin-film silicon solar cell. The antireflection(high reflection) coating skill is needed in the front(back) panel of the thin-film solar cell to improve an efficiency of light absorbing. In the single structure a reflectivity is changed according to the thickness of coating for antireflection scheme and its minimum value can be obtained by controlling thickness of coating. In the symmetric multi layer structure low reflectivity can be obtained in the wide wavelength range. And we also find that high reflectivity can be obtained through multi layer structure, which has alternate layers of high and low material, for high reflection scheme in the back panel.

National Competency Standards(NCS) development related researches on the semiconductor industry were carried out partially, but the field training demand survey and analysis using that NCS were not done. The past demand survey for the job skill training had focused on personnel shortage and oversupply so it has the problems called skill mismatch. This study has the purpose to provide an alternative analysis of qualitative evaluation using the relative importance and gap of the job skill elements in the semiconductor industry. As research methods, we carried out related literature and report review, and a job skill demand survey on the semiconductor industry. We analyzed about the industry related jobs and job tasks, the qualitative demand for each job skill elements, and procurement methods for each job skills and manpower. We illustrated some related training courses to find out a relevant way for supplying the training programs.

This research is for temperature control of insulating oil inside the transformer. After I designed and manufactured various systems using Peltier element, which was thermal element, and Heat pipe, which was a cooling system, without electric power. The optimum system could be made by applying them to the temperature control for the insulating oil. I could verify that the combination type of Heat pipe 100 W+ Peltier 100W has a more outstanding capacity than pure Heat pipe 300 W within 60 degrees Celsius through experiments. Through this, I verify that the method of a proper design is prominent, and make an attempt at contribution to power saving effect and more effective control of Distributing board by using this combination type.

In this paper, an adaptive nonlinear friction compensation scheme for second-order nonlinear mechanical system with a partially known nonlinear dynamic friction is proposed to achieve asymptotic position and velocity tracking in the absence of disturbances and modeling errors. It is also shown that even with disturbances and modeling errors, in contrast to existing other adaptive control schemes, by proper adjustment of design parameters, reduced error bounds on position and velocity tracking can be achieved.

A temperature control system is very important part in many industrial applications. Typical development procedures for temperature control system consist of several stages such as conceptual system design, construction of physical system, controller design based on the mathematical model for the system, and performance test. Since the mathematical model is usually obtained with the aid of system identification technique based on repeated experiments after construction of the physical system, the above procedures require very large amount of time and cost. It takes also large amount of time in the controller design and performance test procedures. In this paper, a virtual development scheme, which can predict the performance of the temperature control system prior to construction of physical system, for rapid validation of the initial system design is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is shown by using SISO (Single Input Single Output) example.
An Accurate Direction Finding Technology Using a Phase Comparison and Time Difference of Arrival

In this paper, we proposed a new direction finding(DF) technology using TDOA(time-difference of arrival) and PDOA(phase difference of arriving signal) method. The proposed technology has a good DF accuracy without DF ambiguity. TDOA or PDOA technology is used to the most of intelligence systems in 21 century. The principle of TDOA is to receive a signal with two parallel antennas, measure the time difference of arrival signal, and converse the time difference to the direction of incident signal. Those technology make a DF system small size but the DF accuracy is low into short antenna installation distance. The principle of PDOA is similar to TDOA except measuring the phase difference of arrival signal, These technology get a good DF accuracy in short antenna installation distance but have a DF ambiguity. The proposed DF method is simulated into DF system operation environment with noise, and has a good DF accuracy.
Bandwidth Improvement of a Series-fed Two Dipole Array Antenna

In this paper, bandwidth improvement of a series-fed two dipole array(STDA) antenna applicable for mobile communication base station antennas is studied. The proposed STDA antenna consists of two strip dipole antennas with different lengths which are connected directly trough a coplanar stripline(CPS). By adjusting the spacing between the two dipoles and the length of the second dipole, the bandwidth of the STDA can be enhanced. In addition, an integrated balun composed of a short-circuited microstrip line and a slot line is utilized to minimize the area required for a feeding part, and a broadband impedance matching is obtained by adjusting the feeding point. Based on the proposed antenna structure, an STDA antenna covering the frequency band ranging from 1.75 GHz to 2.7 GHz, which includes almost all the existing mobile communication frequency bands, with more than 5 dBi gain is designed and fabricated on an FR4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4 and thickness of 1.6mm, and experimentally tested. The fabricated antenna shows impedance bandwidth of 49%(1.7-2.8 GHz) for VSWR<2, a gain higher than 5.5 dBi, and a front-back ratio better than 12 dB.
A Study on Implementation of Special-Purpose Manipulator for Home Service Robot

A specialized anthropomorphic robot manipulator which can be attached to the housemaid robot McBot II, is developed In this paper. This built-in type manipulator consists of both arms with 3 DOF (Degree of Freedom) each and both hands with 3 DOF each. The robotic arm is optimally designed to satisfy both the minimum mechanical size and the maximum workspace. Minimum mass and length are required for the built-in cooperated-arms system. But that makes the workspace so small. This paper proposes optimal design method to overcome the problem by using neck joint to move the arms horizontally forward/backward and waist joint to move them vertically up/down. The robotic hand, which has two fingers and a thumb, is also optimally designed in task-based concept. Finally, the good performance of the developed manipulator is confirmed through live test of tasks.

Technology roadmap is a powerful tool that considers relationships of technology, product and market and referred as a supporting technology strategy and planning. There are numerous studies that have attempted to develop technology roadmap and case studies on specific technology areas. However, a number of studies have been dependant on brainstorming and discussion of expert group, delphi technique as qualitative analysis rather than systemic and quantitative analysis. To overcome the limitation, patent analysis considered as quite quantitative analysis is employed in this paper. Therefore, this paper proposes new technology roadmapping based on patent citation network considering technology life cycle and suggests planning for undeveloped technology but considered as promising. At first, patent data and citation information are collected and patent citation network is developed on the basis of collected patent information. Secondly, we investigate a stage of technology in the life cycle by considering patent application year and the technology life cycle, and duration of technology development is estimated. In addition, subsequent technologies are grouped as nodes of a super-level technology to show the evolution of the technology for the period. Finally, a technology roadmap is drawn by linking these technology nodes in a technology layer and estimating the duration of development time. Based on technology roadmap, technology planning is conducted to identify undeveloped technology through text mining and this paper suggests characteristics of technology that needs to be developed in the future. In order to illustrate the process of the proposed approach, technology for hydrogen storage is selected in this paper.

Almost sensor networks have mission-critical tasks that requires very high security. Therefore, extensive work has been done for securing sensor networks from outside attackers, efficient cryptographic systems, secure key management and authorization, but little work has yet been done to protect these networks from inside threats. This paper proposed an method to select which nodes should activate their idle nodes as detectors to be able to watch all packets in the sensor network. Suggested method is modeled as optimization equation, and heuristic Greedy algorithm based simulation results are presented to verify my approach.

Seo et al. criticizes that Hu-Niu-Yang's certification scheme is not enough to satisfy the security requirements of a smart card-based certification scheme because it has a weakness of password guessing attack as well as gives attackers opportunities to be disguised as legitimate users. However, Seo et al. also has a weakness not satisfying the security requirements. This paper suggests a new scheme that contains the characteristics of certification scheme provided by Seo et al. but compensates weak points. Both Optimization and Reuse Technology are considered as core technologies handling the values of products in embedded software. Framework technology is a typical type of optimization and reuse technology. When we develop software based on framework, The effect of reusability as well as development productivity can be improved. However, currently the form of framework-based development is very poor in embedded software development. Furthermore, because framework development is also beginning stage in embedded software development, there are questions whether developing framework can bring reusability effect. In this paper, we propose metrics measuring reusability of framework which is designed for improving reusability of embedded software. As as result of applying proposed metrics into real design cases, we can obtain more effective results in framework-based design than existing design.
Website Accessibility Evaluation of the Welfare Centers for the Disabled

The Korean disabled is about 5% of the population and most of them utilize welfare centers for the disabled. The disabled have difficulties in using the welfare centers' website since many centers do not comply with the website accessibility guidelines. This paper has compared, evaluated and provided the analytical results of the observance of the website accessibility guidelines of the welfare centers for the disabled in Korean, the U.S. and Japanese. The results indicated that there are many social welfare centers which do not abide by the laws even though the welfare centers for the disabled should comply with the website accessibility guidelines as required by the Law of Prohibiting Discrimination and Right of Remedy for the Disabled in 2008. In particular, Korean welfare centers for the disabled observing the website accessibility guidelines is significantly low of 78.77% to be compared with the U.S. by 85.50% and Japanese by 86.00%. This paper will provide theoretical basis for research on evaluation of website accessibility in the future and contribute to the public awareness on the social welfare of the disabled by suggesting the future direction of website accessibility evaluation on the welfare centers which are closely linked to the everyday life of the disabled.

Semi-Automatic Construction of Morphological Pattern Dictionary using the Method of Morphological Synthesis

One approach for very high speed korean morphological analysis is to use pre-built morphological results in dictionary. It pays the high cost to build this morphological pattern dictionary manually, besides the dictionary may contain errors. This paper proposes a method to generate morphological patterns automatically using Korean morphological synthesis. The experiment shows that we automatically generate 86% morphological patterns for analyzing Korean sentences. It takes 52.68 seconds for the morphological system using the patterns to analyze 403MB Korean corpus on 2.8GHz Window system.
A Study on the Evaluation of Thermal Transmittance Performance of Aluminum Alloy Window Frame of Educational Facility considering 2 Dimensional Steady-state Heat Transfer

This study focused to evaluate thermal transmittance(U-value) performance of sliding type of aluminum alloy window frame(AAWF) with double glazing(DG) and glazing spacer and that without thermal breaker in winter and summer season by two dimensional steady state heat transfer analysis. The AAWE was installed to an existing educational facilities in Seosan area which is the southern region of the Korean Peninsula. Analysis of 2D steady-state heat transfer was performed through the use of BISCO as calculation and simulation program. U-value and temperature factors were calculated. The results are as followed. First, the isotherm simulation shows that AAWF with double glazing have serious differences from recently proposed window thermal performance standards such as Insulation Performance of Windows and Doors of Building Energy Saving Design Standards and the results of calculation of thermal transmittance performance of AAWF and DG are U=9.631 W/
, U=2.382 W/
respectively during winter and summer season. Second, the results of analysis of heat transfer analysis, calculated by simulation, shows that 225% of heat is lost comparing with thermal performance standards U=4.0 W/
of general double glazing among those standards on AAWF without thermal breaker.
A Research on the Development of a GIS-based Real-time Urban Water Management System

The ultimate purpose of this research is to propose a method to improve water supply management efficiency. As an effort to solve this comprehensive problem, the purposes of this paper are summarized into the following two main subjects. One is the development of a series of demand forecasting models targeting for each theme of urban water such as residential, commercial, industrial water. The other is the suggestion on the development and utilization plan of a GIS-based information system where the developed models are incorporated. For these, a series of efforts were performed such as evaluating and choosing of the candidate field areas, selecting a proper sensor and an installation point for each theme. Installed are sensors, a wireless communication infrastructure, and a field data acquisition and management server. Developed are a protocol for the wireless communication and a real-time data monitoring system. Nextly, the urban water facility-related and other necessary data were handled to make those into a series of GIS-ready databases. Finally, a GIS-based management system was designed and a blueprint for the implementation is suggested.

Displacement, contact pressure and moment which are developed in rigid beam on the Winkler foundation and 2 parameter Winkler foundation were derived. It can be seen that moment distribution along with rigid beam on the Winkler foundation are regardless of spring constant and the moments calculated from assuming linear spring constant were greater than those from assuming constant spring constant. Simple calculation revealed that the maximum moment developed in the rigid beam on the 2 parameter Winkler foundation was larger than that developed in the rigid beam on the Winkler foundation.
Investigation on Seismic-Response Characteristics and Optimal Design Parameters of Tuned Mass Damper Considering Site Effects

Most previous studies for finding optimal design parameters of a tuned mass damper(TMD) have been focused on the harmonic excited single-degree-of freedom system. In this study, optimal values of damping ratio and tuning frequency ratio of a TMD applied to control a seismically excited structure are investigated through numerical analyses. Considering that the structural responses due to earthquake loads are strongly dependent on the soil condition, the site effects on the optimal parameters of the TMD are studied and compared to those presented by previous studies. Numerical analyses results indicate that better control performance can be obtained by using the parameters proposed by this study in the seismic application of the TMD.

The purpose of this study is to draw the digital design curriculum in architectural design studio. For this study, works using digital design process in professional and academic projects were investigated. Digital design curriculum is consisted of 3 steps; fundamental, intensive and advanced courses. The fundamental course acquires capability for raising architectural thought through digital media. The intensive course acquires capability for raising architectural design process. Finally, the advanced course acquires capability for raising synthesis design works and professional abilities in architectural design. It is also a urgent need of unified roadmap about digital design curriculum for architectural design education in Korea.

Space Layout has been an issue in the facet of reducing the co2 in that the transportation sector has been to represent almost more than 20% of the total energy consumption for decades. Beside the development of the more efficient transportation systems, an efficient space layout makes it possible to reduce the amount of energy consumption in the transportation sector through allocating the sub-spaces in such an arrangement of minimizing the travel distances. In line with this thinking, this research aims at implementing a simulator which can calculate the vehicle-based travel distance upon a certain space layout. Based on the findings that the vehicle-based travels take place between the two functionally related sub-spaces, this research addresses a method of calculating the vehicle-based travel distance by multiplying the traffic volume of each sub-spaces by the travel distance to the other connected sub-spaces.

It becomes more and more important to develop various infiltration facilities for healthy water cycle and reduction of urban storm water runoff. In this study, a infiltration facility by utilizing tree box was developed. The developed facility is capable of reducing storm water road runoff, improving urban water cycle, and performing other sustainable and environmental functions. Because the facility can be manufactured to a smaller size than an existing runoff reduction facility, it can be installed at various road types of not only existing urban areas, but new developed areas. If the facility is applied to four-lane roadways, it is expected to reduce 65% of rainfall runoff discharge. Urban flood control improvement can be accomplished by a wide application of the developed technique.

Recently there have been the various trials going on that public facilities such as city hall, kindergarten, pubic library and so on are designed by Han-ok(韓屋) style. And it is necessary to apply Korean traditional wooden structure to such a various demands. Based on such situation and needs this paper aims to draw a example design proposal for Han-ok style elementary school which is located in Asan new town. The building scope is total 24 classes consist of 4 classes each grade. The Usual type is adopted to the lower grade classrooms which are Han-ok style using the composition of La-gung(羅宮) as a architectural precedent.
Bending Assessment of Antisymmetric Angle-ply Composite Sandwich Plates with Various Shear Deformation Functions

In this paper, we compared various shear deformation functions for modelling anti-symmetric composite sandwich plates discretized by a mixed finite element method based on the Lagrangian/Hermite interpolation functions. These shear deformation theories uses polynomial, trigonometric, hyperbolic and exponential functions through the thickness direction, allowing for zero transverse shear stresses at the top and bottom surfaces of the plate. All shear deformation functions are compared with other available analytical/3D elasticity solutions, As a result, reasonable accuracy for investigated problems are predicted. Particularly, The present results show that the use of exponential shear deformation theory provides very good solutions for composite sandwich plates.

Silica-gold composite particles were prepared by wet chemical route including impregnation method. The effect of precursor and solvent on the preparation of silica-gold particles was investigated. When spherical silica particles and PVP and hydrogentetrachloroaurate(III) hydrate aqueous solution were used as support material and precursor solution, silica-gold composite particles with light pink color successfully obtained. To introduce the antibacterial activity, ACF(activated carbon fiber) was impregnated by nano-sized Ag, Mn, and phosphoric acid. It was observed by the SEM analysis that Ag, Mn and phosphoric acid were properly impregnated at the ACF. The impregnated ACF showed lower adsorption performance than the pure ACF. It is found that ACFs impregnated by nano-sized Ag or phosphoric acid have a good antibacterial activity against bacillus cereus and salmonella entaritidis. but in the case of ACF impregnated with Mn, it have not any antibacterial effect on the bacillus cereus and salmonella entaritidis.

The computational fluid dynamics was analyzed for the pressure distribution, stream velocity distribution, stream line field, retention time and temperature distribution which are applied to the catalyst layer in the RCO reactor to derive the optimum operating condition of the heat condensing type catalytic oxidation (RCO) reactor. The results from the computational analysis revealed that the pressure loss due to the ceramic honeycomb in the catalytic bed of the reactor which is operating currently is not significant and the stream velocity (1.8~2.7 m/s) after the ceramic filter is working in stability without big channeling. To improve the stream velocity distribution of the air stream, it is necessary to extension of the connecting range between the plenum and catalytic bed inside the facility. However, the method of attaching the air stream guide vane or the perforated plate inside the reactor was not so effective.
