An Analysis on the Thermal Characteristics of a Magnetron Structure

Magnetron is applied in microwave ovens for generating microwaves. It is composed of r-fin, yoke, A/F seals, gasket base, filter box. The temperature is occurred highly, when magnetron operate in its systems. Therefore the thermal characteristics must be considered in the design of magnetron. Because of its geometric complex, it is difficult to analysis the thermal characteristics. In this paper, temperature analysis is performed for all components. The commercial software ANSYS is used to consider both conduction and convection. The analysis is carried out by adding each component. An experiment on the thermal characteristics is performed to verify the reliability for simulation.
The Study on Skin Adhesive Technology for Automotive Interior Using the Vacuum Suction Process

This study proposed the new pressing method under heat for the plastic automotive interior part in order to make embossing on the skin of the raw material of the part. The raw material is laid on the lower mold and it is pressed by the upper one with embossing shape. The air is suctioned from the inside of both molds for producing tension and making embossing shapes on the skin of the part without its breakage. The corresponding molds and test machines are made and the proposed manufacturing process is validated.
A Study on the Optimal Molding Conditions for Aspheric Glass Lenses in Progressive GMP

By the recently developed GMP(Glass Molding Press) process, aspheric glass lenses are widely used in many optical applications such as digital cameras, optical data storages and electrical devices etc. The GMP process can economically produce complex shaped glass lenses with high precision and good repeatability. This study deals the optimization of molding conditions for aspheric glass lenses in progressive GMP process through Design Of Experiment(Taguchi method). Tree main factors for molding conditions were selected based on pressure, temperature and cooling time at 1st cooling stage. From the analysis of experiments which were preformed with 3-cavity glass mold, it was revealed that the cooling time was the most sensitive parameter for form accuracy(PV) in progressive GMP process.

As a result of cold rolling of Ti-3Al-2.5V (Half Titanium), the degree of hardness increased to 221Hv, 247Hv(1st), 270Hv(2nd), etc. Therefore, it was found that proper heat treatment and multi-stand rolling process are necessary.

Today, tire performance becomes better as vehicle performance increases. Driviability, endurance, comfortability, noise, and antiwear performance is influenced by tire contour. Tire design method is developed by high-tech engineering technology. Among theses studies, tire performance improvement through tire contour optimization is performed by many vehicle investigator. Therefore, in the present study, an optimum contour design system satisfying the tire performance requirements is constructed by regression analysis and genetic algorithm by using design of experiments.
Evaluation on Welding Characteristic of Ni-Cu Sheet by Ultrasonic Machining

This paper is studied on the influence of machining conditions on weldability obtained by ultrasonic machining. The weldability estimation of dissimilar Ni-Cu sheets with the optimization of one-wavelength horn is confirmed by the use of ultrasonic machining. The optimal welding condition with tensile test by setting the ultrasonic machining parameters is suggested and the weldability is estimated by SEM observation and EDX-ray analysis. Experimental studies are worked with the measure of tensile strength and the analysis of SEM photograph after the ultrasonic machining of workpiece. Machining parameters of machining time, pressure, and amplitude are also applied to this paper.
Development of Measurement Device for Bending Stiffness of Footwear

In design of sport footwear, bending stiffness of its toe part is an important factor though it can be hardly measured. This paper introduces a device for measuring the bending stiffness. The device is simply designed with aluminum frames, one AC motor, two load-cells, one encoder and control hardwares. The mechanism measuring the bending moment of a shoe is described. Then, it was used to observe how the midsole material and design of a sports shoe affect on its bending stiffness. For the experiments, various specimens prepared, where each midsole of the specimens is different in terms of material, thickness and hardness. With those specimens, experiments were performed by using the device and then the bending stiffness was computed by applying the least square curve fitting after the bending moment data were measured. The specimen with Poly-urethane(PU) midsole has the higher bending stiffness than the one with Phylon(PH) midsole, and the midsole thickness affects more on the bending stiffness than the midsole hardness. Based on those results, it can be concluded that the measurement device can provide consistent bending stiffness data to sports footwear and the bending stiffness of a footwear measured by the developed device can be used as a major parameter in the footwear design.
Fatigue Analysis of Reduction Gears Unit in Rolling Stock Considering Operating Characteristics

To assure the safety of rolling stock, it is important to perform the fatigue analysis of reduction gear unit in rolling stock considering a variation of velocity and traction motor capability. This paper presents fatigue analysis of the damage of reduction gear unit of railway vehicle under variable amplitude loading(VAL) based on quasi-static fatigue analysis using finite element model and linear Miner's rule. The VAL for the simulation was constructed from the tractive effort curve and train run curves of railway vehicle under commercial operation condition using MSC.ADAMS dynamic analysis. The finite element model for evaluating the carburizing effect on the gear surface was used for predicting the fatigue life of the middle gear based on strain-life based approach. The results showed that the frequent high starting torque due to a quick start as well as increasing numbers of stops at station would decrease the fatigue life of reduction gear unit.
Development of Plastic Suspension System for Automotive Seat

This study aims to develop the plastic suspension assembly which is installed on inside of vehicle seat and supports passenger's back to provide the comfortable feeling. This design is the suspension structure to support the back equally and assemble seat back frame and plastic suspension effectively. The parts of suspension are designed by considering the property of body pressure distribution. As analysis values are approached to measured values by comparing the deformations in the cases of existed spring suspension and developed plastic suspension, the optimum design can be established.
Road measuring system using surface profile sensing algorithm

This paper presents the development of the surface profile sensing system (SPSS) and its application to analysis of road surface. The SPSS which can robustly reconstruct the road input profiles from the intermixed data with the vehicle's dynamic motion, is implemented using the multi-sensor system with the optimally shaped transfer function. The performance of this system is evaluated by a series of experimental works in the devised simulator. And a real car test equipped with the proposed system is performed in the proving ground over both deterministic and random road surfaces. Finally, a feasibility of the system is investigated considering the road model.
Development of Manufacturing Process of Pure Titanium Wire to make Eyewear Frame

After pure titanium Ingot(G2) with 400mm in diameter was manufactured, the analysis of its ingredients showed that the oxygen content was 0.073wt% and the iron content was 0.03wt%, which made ASTM Gr.2 standardization satisfactory. The processed titanium ingot produced 42mm wire rod, and hot rolling of 18th phase produced 9mm wire rod. The hardness analysis of 15.8mm wire rod, which was processed in hot rolling of 10th phase from the surface to the center, resulted in almost constant value with Hv150~200. The last 9mm wire rod had a different yield strength and elongation percentage depending on the temperature as it was led in to a hot roller. However, tensile strength revealed an approximate value and made ASTM B863 standardization satisfactory.
A Study on the Thermal Performance of an Oil Cooler with Dual-cell Model

Heat exchangers have been used for the automotive, HVAC systems, and other various industrial facilities, so the market is very wide. In general, high-efficiency heat exchangers with louver fins are used in the dust-free environment while heat exchangers with wavy fins are used for dusty environment such as construction site, etc. In this study, numerical analysis has been performed for typical heat exchangers, used as oil coolers or fuel coolers, with dual cell model that can handle different grids for the air-side and oil-side of heat exchangers. First wind tunnel tests were conducted to obtain one-dimensional thermal performance data of heat exchangers. Then, heat release rates with varying air flows were numerically predicted using the three-dimensional dual-cell model. The model can greatly enhance the accuracy of thermal design since it includes the effects of nonuniformity of air flows across heat exchangers.
A Study on the Durability Improvement of Movable Bracket Structures

The movable bracket structure, which is an apparatus for supplying electric power to a running electric locomotive, is applied by a repeated load during the passage of the electric locomotive. Such a repeated load becomes an excitation source that causes screws constituting the movable bracket structure to be loosened. This study was conducted on the causes and countermeasures of the bolt loosening caused by the repeated vibration using a computer simulation. As the result, a simulation model was constructed to enable the dynamic analysis of the movable bracket structure. It could be found that the principal excitation frequency range for the bolt loosening of the movable bracket structure was less than 200 Hz. In addition, the bolts are prevented from being loosened by increasing stiffness of H beams. The vibration mode of a lower band bracket is found to be triggered in a frequency range between 300 and 600 Hz. And the increase in stiffness of the lower band bracket exhibits the effect to avoid the bolt loosening at a frequency range of 200 Hz or more.
Optimum Shape Design of Bumper Beam Section using Intermediate Response Surface Models

A bumper beam plays the important role of absorbing the bulk of bumper impact energy, so it is extremely important to determine the bumper beam section during the initial stage of car development process. This paper uses the Intermediate Response Surface Models (IRSM) technique for the bumper beam section optimization. By using this method, the nonlinear impact force-deflection curve is changed to an approximated curve. This can avoid the excessive 3D nonlinear FEM analysis during the optimization process. Then, the accuracy of the IRSM models is examined by comparing their results with those of the 3D nonlinear FEM. Finally it is shown that the proposed approach is effective to design the 2.5mph vehicle bumper section.
Effects of self-management on psychological happiness in throwers

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of field athletes' self-management on their psychological happiness. The subjects of the study were 184 athletes (male=82, female=102) who participated in the 91th National Athletes Meeting. All statistical analyses and description methods were computed by SPSS window 18.0. The discriminant analysis was used to find effects of self-management on their psychological happiness, ANOVA and Multiple regression. The results of this study were as followings: Frist, there was not significant difference to The Relationship between social-demographical variables and self-management, their psychological happiness. Second, self-management had a significant effect on psychological happiness. Based on the results, Field athletes's self-management has a positive effect on their psychological happiness.
A Study on the Software Service Model Evaluation Methodology for Industry Convergence

SW-based service model is considered strategic industry in the advancement of national economic development. Also SW-based service model has Public Interest and Profitability, it should be conducted assessment considering both sides of private and public reflection. To obtain the goal of this research, firstly, based on broadly reviewing previous literature and logical reasoning in business model evaluation and feasibility of public business. Secondly, derived SW-based service model's feature through a group of experts to analyze. And AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is adopted in developing the influential factors (indexes) for the profitability of each SW-based service model and the weight score of each factor. In the result, We suggested 5 evaluation areas, and 15 evaluation items reflecting private business model, public business evaluation and SW-based service model feature. The findings of this study are thought to be useful as a practical guideline in performing evaluating the SW-based service model for private and public sector.
The Relationship between Fatigue, Stress resistance and Emotion in Korean middle aged women

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationships between fatigue, stress resistance and emotion in middle aged women under the developmental crisis using a brain wave measurement which is a cranial physiological index. From March 2005 to June 2009, women aged between 35 and 65 (N=4402) who volunteered for a brain wave test at the KRIJUS( Korea Research Institute of Jungshin Science) were monitored the brain function quotient (tension degree, anti-stress quotient and emotional quotient). Correlation and time-series linear analysis revealed significantly the relationships between fatigue, stress resistance and emotion. Also, according to the emotional propensity, cheerful propensity was higher in the cheerful and depressed propensity, positive propensity was higher in the positive and negative propensity, during the whole test, cheerful and positive propensity was higher. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the quality of life by decreasing fatigue and stress level of the middle-aged women to maintain and increase their individual health and the better family relationship.
The Ownership Choice of Leveraged Buyout Company

Leveraged buyouts (LBO) means the acquisition of a company using bonds and loans. There are the prolific volumes of LBO transactions in the international M&A markets, and its influence to the financial market is increasingly huge. However, there are very few LBO transaction in the domestic M&A market and there are also few researches in this field due to the private nature of LBO transactions. Once a company is privatized through a LBO transaction, it is not so long before it is relisted on the stock exchange or it is resold to a third-party investor. In order to repay the borrowed money, an LBO investor may decide to end a company's private status through an exit via an initial public offering (IPO) or a takeover. In this paper, we expand Kaplan's study on the organizational status of post leveraged buyout (LBO) transaction. We find that there is a significant change starting 1986. Most notably, fewer LBOs remain private, the median holding period of the LBO was cut in half to 3.2 years and of those that exit, IPO exits had significantly shorter holding periods. Regression analysis shows that good market conditions lengthen the holding period of a LBO investment whereas the size of the transaction shortens it.
An Empirical Study and Policy Implications Regarding Correlations of Korean Small Businessman's Perception of Systematization Using Cluster Analysis

In this study, association of small business is divided into four groups: Franchise, Joint Brand, Industry Association and Registered Retailer. Cluster analysis is taken to find what kind of strategic considerations associated small businesses choose when they set up new strategies. The results show that there are some differences in the perception of association, effects of association and final performance of management by gender, academic background, and age. The data also find three clusters: price competitive, marketing competitive and neither group. Implications of this study is that government should focus more on not only improving infrastructures of self-businesses but also associating small businesses, modernizing managerial systems in the future.
Perceptional Gap Analysis on Business satisfaction between Dentist and Dental Hygienist

The purpose of the study was to explore the perception of dentist and dental hygienist of Interprofessional cooperation, to identify factors influencing dentist and dental hygienist satisfaction with their cooperation. The data were collected with a questionnaire for this study from 6 April, 2009 to 27 April 2009. Data were analyzed using SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) WIN 12.0 Program to determine the perception of dentist and dental hygienist of Interprofessional cooperation and predicting factors on their satisfaction. The result shows that dental hygienist is recognized that degree of depression which is caused by dentist's condemnation and by dental hygienist's condemnation rather than dentist. On the other hands, dentist is recognized that the importance of interprofessional cooperation and mutual trust between dentist and dental hygienist.
The Effect of Neurofeedback Training on Sex differences groups in Adolescence

The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of neurofeedback training on adolescence groups that are different in sex. The experiment was carried out with 45 students who living in Yong-in of Kyonggi Province. From November 2009 to March 2010, each were under training about 20-25 times, 2-3 times a week, during 20 to 50 minutes, was conducted by limiting training. Statistical data collected were processed with the SPSS 12.0. For the purposes of t-test showed that differences in the effects of sex. The result, The effects of neurofeedback training, according to the sex differences were confirmed. only boys showed stress resistance quotient, only girls showed emotional quotient. they also have differences in some part of cerebral cortex that are responsible for stress and emotion. As a result, neurofeedback training affects the prefrontal lobe.
A Study on impact of cognitive complexity and coping flexibility of the counselor on the countertransference management ability

Based on previous studies that cognitive complexity and coping flexibility are closely related with psychological adaptibility, it can be inferred that they can influence management ability of countertransference in counselling. This study focused on the influence of counselor's cognitive complexity and coping flexibility on the management ability of countertransference in counselling. The survey was conducted on 128 (female 108, male 20) counselors of college counseling center, general counseling center, schools and hospitals. The study employed flexibility scale measures, interpersonal discrimination test, and countertransference factors inventory. The results was that the level of cognitive complexity did not influence countertransference ability whereas the level of coping flexibility influenced countertransference management ability. In multiple regression, it was evidenced that coping flexibility influence countertransference management ability more than cognitive complexity. In sum, our study indicate that coping flexibility is important to enhance the management ability of countertransference in counselling, and that related counsellor training program should be developed in the future.
The Relationship Between Leisure Experience and Job-attitude and Organizational Citizenship Behavior; The Mediating Effect of Positive Emotion

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between leisure experience and job-attitude and organizational citizenship behavior. And this study indicates how positive emotion affects the relationship between leisure experience and job-attitude and organizational citizenship behavior. The results from this study are as follows: First, leisure experience influenced significantly the positive emotion, the positive emotion was giving positive affection to job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior. Second, positive emotion mediated between leisure experience and job-attitude and organizational citizenship behavior. This study was giving us implications that positive emotion from leisure experience is more important than leisure activities themselves when we plan 'fun management'.

This paper reviews cases of leadership training program of United States of America University. Also it proposes guideline of coaching program for domestic Christian students. In according to the needs of industry, it enforces a various case analysis in center of purpose and contents of leadership training and propose coaching program case in the Korean 'B'University(IT major). This paper analysis the detailed elements, which is not reflected in Korean leadership training. The proposed paper has a view in an index of main application for elements analysis of leadership training in industry and Korean university.
Machinery Industry Study on Barriers to joint venture -Focusing on South Korea and Germany-

This article analysis the obstacles and motivating factors of joint ventures between South Korean and German companies. As a theoretical frame is used the resource based view to explain motivating as well as hindering factors that influence joint ventures between Korean and German firms. The theoretical findings are tested with a sample of approximately 200companies that operate in the machinery industry. The data were provided by the German Machinery Industry Association and the Korean Association of Machinery Industry. The results of the findings are used to derive implications for governmental policy makers.
A Study on the Emerging Technology Detection in the Field of LED Using Scientometrics

The aim of this research is to map the intellectual structure of the field of LED and optics during the period of 2000-2009. We utilize the scientometric tool of co-word analysis to reveal patterns and trends in the LED and optics field by measuring the association strengths of keywords (or IPCs). Data were collected from Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and United Stated Patent and Trademark Office (USTPO) for the period of 2000-2009. Keywords were extracted from abstracts and further standardized using thesaurus. In order to trace the dynamic changes of the LED and optics field, the whole 10-year period was separated into two consecutive periods: 2000-2004 and 2005-2009. The results show that the LED and optics field has some established research themes and it also changes to embrace new themes.
Career decision-making styles and career maturity amongst Korean undergraduate students

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in university student's career maturity according to general characteristics(for example, gender, grade, and SES) and undergraduate student's career decision-making styles. A scale measuring the career decision-making styles(Harren, 1984) and career maturity(Crites, 1978) was administered to 223 university students around the capital city. The data were analyzed using Cronbach's
tests, means, standard deviations, One-way MANOVAs, and Multiple Discriminant Analyses. The results of this study were as follows: 1. There was not significant difference by gender in career maturity. But there were significant differences by grade and SES in career maturity. Freshmen and Senior exhibited higher career decision-making attitude than sophomores and juniors. High-SES group showed higher career decision-making attitude and lower career independence. 2. There were significant differences by career decision-making styles in career maturity. 51.1% of our samples were rational decision-making styles, 30.0% of our samples were intuitive decision-making styles, and 18.8% of our samples were dependent decision-making styles. Undergraduate students with rational decision-making styles showed more positive career choice behavior and higher career independence than undergraduate students dependent decision-making styles.
A Study on analysis of severity-adjustment length of stay in hospital for community-acquired pneumonia

Our study was carried out to develop the severity-adjustment model for length of stay in hospital for community-acquired pneumonia so that we analysed the factors on the variation in length of stay(LOS). The subjects were 5,353 community-acquired pneumonia inpatients of the Korean National Hospital Discharge In-depth Injury Survey data from 2004 through 2006. The data were analyzed using t-test and ANOVA and the severity-adjustment model was developed using data mining technique. There are differences according to gender, age, type of insurance, type of admission, but there is no difference of whether patients died in hospital. After yielding the standardized value of the difference between crude and expected length of stay, we analysed the variation of length of stay for community-acquired pneumonia. There was variation of LOS in regional differences and insurance type, though there was no variation according whether patients receive their care in their residences. The variation of length of stay controlling the case mix or severity of illness can be explained the factors of provider. This supply factors in LOS variations should be more studied for individual practice style or patient management practices and healthcare resources or environment. We expect that the severity-adjustment model using administrative databases should be more adapted in other diseases in practical.
Effect of Intensive Trunk-Pelvic Stabilization Training Using Sling on Muscle Activity and Balance in Hemiplegia

This study was to investigate the effect of intensive trunk-pelvic stabilizing training using sling exercise on trunk muscle activity and balance in patients with hemiplegia. Twenty hemiplegic patients(6 month
, 1 years >) participated were divided into two groups randomly. Control group(n=10) had only general rehabilitation training and experimental group(n=10) had both the general rehabilitation training and intensive trunk-pelvic stabilizing training using sling. They were treated for 30 min./5 times/4 week. I measured ability of trunk control, muscle activity, and balance which were done before and after the intensive training using sling. In significant difference after training, show a significant difference in TIS(p<.001), in particular static(p<.05), dynamic(p<.01), coordination(p<.05) and muscle activity of RA(p<.001), EO(p<.001), ES(p<.001), Multifidus(p<.05), FMA(Balance)(p<.01), and static(p<.001) & dynamic(p<.001) balance ability on MTD-Balance system. As this study proved effective therapeutic exercise of trunk muscle activity and balance ability on intensive trunk-pelvic stabilizing training using sling, it could identify importance of trunk-pelvic stabilizing and control on balance.
A Study on the Sexual Consciousness and Values of College Students Majoring in Public Health-Related Subjects

This study is to inquire into the sexual consciousness and values of students majoring in public health-related subjects, as well as into whether there are differences between male students and female students. This study was conducted on randomly-selected students majoring in public health-related subjects at junior colleges in South Chungcheong Province. The questionnaire, used in this study, was remade on the basis of philological reviews and previous studies, and a total of 208 questionnaires were re-collected. In relation to the question about chance of sex education, 56.7% of respondents answered, '4 or more chances'. In relation to the question about the source of sex information, 37.5% of respondents referred to 'their friends.' In the case of premarital sex, 51.4% answered, 'it amounts to nothing in pairs of lovers.' In conclusion, the university authorities need to aggressively support students in order that desirable sex educations can be given to students and they can have right sexual consciousness and have the mature and responsible attitude to sex.
Postoperative Quality of Life in Patients with Papillary Thyroid Cancer

The purpose of this study was to determine postoperative quality of life(QoL), thyroid specific symptoms(TSSs), self care compliance, anxiety and depression in patients with papillary thyroid cancer and to identify factors influencing their postoperative QoL. 154 patients were surveyed using structured questionnaires and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The mean score of postoperative QoL in the subjects was 2.72 and the postoperative QoL score of social/family well being subscale showed the lowest score. Most of the subjects suffered from TSSs such as fatigue, cold intolerance, and mood swings. The most frequent activity for self care compliance was taking thyroid hormone(100%) and OPD follow up was the second activity(99.4%). Anxiety score was 45.3 indicating a medium level however 63% of the subjects were evaluated as depression status. Postoperative QoL in thyroid papillary cancer patients showed significantly negative correlations to TSSs, anxiety, and depression (r=-.573, p<.001; r=-.739, p<.001; r=-.742, p<.001). The factors influencing postoperative QoL were TSSs, anxiety, and depression, which explained about 64.9% of the variance. Thus to improve postoperative QoL in patients with papillary thyroid cancer, health care providers should relieve negative emotions related to long term cancer management, develop the support system and provide practical information to apply patients' physical, and psychological symptoms control.
Study on R&D Manpower Requirements for the Field of Pharmaceutical - An Application of Delphi Method

Since the pharmaceutical industry is a research oriented sector, the research and development capability based on the qualified R&D manpower is one of the key success factors to strengthen the national competitiveness. Securing the appropriate number of researcher needed for the research activities in these fields is an important precondition for a government policy that aims for a strongly knowledge-intensive the pharmaceutical industry growth. In this study, we conducted and analyzed a delphi survey of the experts(the principal investigators) with expertise in these pharmaceutical research areas. The current and future requirements for the pharmaceutical science research personnel including medical doctors have been evaluated, extending the year 2017. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, in 2007 the field of pharmaceutical R&D personnel is currently under-supplied as many as about 5,600 people. The rate of under-supplied is about 18.1%. Second, in 2017 the evaluation shows that the R&D personnel in this field will be more severely under-supplied as many as 13,500 people. The rate of under-supplied will be about 28.6%. As a result, the confrontation of demand and supply evaluation shows that, in general, severe shortages of R&D manpower in the field of pharmaceutical will result if there are not adequate manpower policy adjustment.

The purpose of this study was to classify subjective structure of observation experience toward delivery on nursing students. A Q-methodological approach that gives information about the way of analyzing the subjectivity of each item was used. Q population was performed for analyzing through interview and literature review. From this, ultimately, a final Q sample of 35 statements was obtained. The P sample sorted the Q sample for observation experience toward delivery. The collected data was analyzing using PC QUANL program, which revealed three distinctive types of delivery experience about nursing students. Type 1 is a sympathy towards delivery woman, type 2 is a requirement of care. And type 3 is a future of analogical inference of delivery type. In conclusion, it is needed not only to give high quality of nursing service but also to have a right job value based on proper understanding of patient. Also, it is recommended about education of nursing students for making right view of value based on the three types of delivery experience.

Analysis has parameter influence of direct vector control and indirect vector control at the Induction motor vector control. So, verified to minute control. Analyzed to simulation result and proof to validity of presented algorithm.

The Spiral coil is made considering primary, secondary side coil inductance, turn number, size, thickness, and shielding area with the litz wire-type in case of manufacturing a coil, and at this time, the semi-automation winding machine is used. When deciding on primary and secondary side coil specification and manufacturing a coil, the spiral coil of a specification varied in the various litz wire of a specification is required, and at this time, a difficulty is generated by the manufacture cost, period which during, and failure the manufacture is generated in the coil sample making. A difficulty is in the desired coil quality control of a specification. Since improving the rectifier of the secondary side in order to improve this kind of problem, the range of the coil design and the during the manufacture, various coil manufacture specifications can be comprehensively made.
Study on Plasma Treatment of electrode for CCFL

CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp)for BLU of LCD and special lighting has been widely utilized. The removal of oxide film formed on electrode of CCFL in manufacturing process is required. In this pape Plasma treatment was carried out to remove the oxide film. To ensure the optimum process, the analysis of sheet resistance, XRD, AFM and solder test was conducted. A minimum sheet resistance and the maximum percentage of the solder coverage ratio were measured in optimal process conditions such as plasma power consumption 600W and processing time of 70 seconds. As the plasma treatment is confirmed to be due to removal of copper oxide, this process is expected to be used as a treatment of electrode for CCFL.

This paper proposes a protocol integration system with multi-threading method for the ship electronic devices to solve problems with the compatibility. The proposed protocol integration system receives the different signals from each of the ships' devices through the RS-232 serial communication port and then divides the input signal into the field data. The required field data for standard signal composition are extracted from among these signal and these are combined in accordance with standard signal format. Thereafter, the protocol integration system transmits the processed standard signal to the auto pilot system through a single port.

We have investigated the characteristics of the electron beam (e-beam) in the miniaturized free electron laser module by using the commercial 3D simulation tool OPERA. The e-beam was made parallel before entering the slit-type wiggler by the negative bias applied to the central electrode of the electron lens. With respect to the different structures of the wiggler, we obtained the inner distributions of the electrical potential and the electric field, which was, in turn, used to calculate the trajectory of the e-beam in the wiggler.

XML is good at representing data with hierarchical and self-describing structure. There is no inherent semantics with XML. However, semantics of XML has come up with us as XML is used in wide and advanced applications. This paper surveyed semantics in XML data processing environment. XML semantics can be categorized into four groups according to its usage; structural semantics, relational semantics, extended semantics, and semantic web. Relational database is still a good alternative for storing and managing large volume of XML documents. We propose an extended relational semantics in order to exploit it in managing XML documents such as query processing.

In this paper, the efficient prevention of cross talk technique for basically avoiding the confusion problem between the overlapped ubiquitous network of the other object is developed within the same area. The intelligent unified wireless network remote meter reading system of the ubiquitous ZigBee base is developed based on this technology. Therefore, in this paper, each meter reading equipments managed the information of its own adjacent ZigBee channel. The intelligent network system steadily transmitting data a relay was developed based upon this information in each region through the flexible channel conversion technique.

This research is focused on an analysis on the structure of RAW image file and the development of a RAW image file viewer for an embedded device. Recently, several RAW image file formats are being used for saving and displaying the images created by various DSLR cameras, and the necessity of handing RAW images in mobile multimedia devices is increasing. For the development of RAW image decoding/encoding library applicable to WinCE-based embedded devices viewer, an analysis of RAW image file formats, such as CRW, CR2, PEF, NEF, MRW, have been performed because their formats are not released in public. By using the library, the analysis software which can extract RAW image data, 2~3 JPEG image files and other informations such as the specification of a camera and various photographic parameters from RAW image files, were developped and a RAW image file viewer which can run in WinCE-based embedded devices. The experimental result has shown that the viewer could encode and decode RAW image files successfully and it took approximately 10secs to load them to the screen in S3C6410 based embedded platform. The outcomes of this research cloud be a good information and solution to multimedia application developers.
A Secure Authentication Model Using Two Passwords in Client Server Systems

It is very important issues to protect many system resources using authorized client authentication in distributed client server systems. So it is not enough to prevent unauthorized opponents from attacking our systems that client authentication is performed using only the client's identifier and password. In this paper, we propose a secure authentication database modeling with two authentication keys such as a client authentication key and a server authentication key. The proposed authentication model can be used making high quality of computer security using two authentication keys during transaction processing. The two authentication keys are created by client and server, and are used in every request transaction without user's extra input. Using the proposed authentication keys, we can detect intrusion during authorized client's transaction processing because we can know intrusion immediately through comparing stored authentication keys in client server systems when hackers attack our network or computer systems.

The TPM(Trusted Platform Module) is a hardware chip to support a trusted computing environment. A rightful user needs a command authorization process in order to use principal TPM commands. To get command authorization from TPM chip, the user should perform the OIAP(Object-Independent Authorization Protocol) or OSAP(Object-Specific Authorization Protocol). Recently, Chen and Ryan alerted the vulnerability of insider attack on TPM command authorization protocol in multi-user environment and presented a countermeasure protocol SKAP(Session Key Authorization Protocol). In this paper, we simulated the possibility of insider attack on OSAP authorization protocol in real PC environment adopted a TPM chip. Furthermore, we proposed a novel countermeasure to defeat this insider attack and improve SKAP's disadvantages such as change of command suructures and need of symmetric key encryption algorithm. Our proposed protocol can prevent from insider attack by modifying of only OSAP command structure and adding of RSA encryption on user and decryption on TPM.

This paper designed 3D animation in consideration of human characteristics to stimulate their interest and to be more understandable to them. It was also confirmed that, using the 3D animation contents, general people came to recognize the problem of environment pollution and developed desirable attitude and behavior for protecting the environment. Furthermore, this paper suggested the ruins original form restoration technique of the residential environment and the natural environment of Hanyang in the Joseon Dynasty period using the 3D virtual reality digital recovery techniques.

The SLA (Service Level Agreement) is once determined between service provider and users in B3G networks so that the network service must be provided as QoS management. Here, the network situation is changed as the time flow, and the service environment is also altered. Hence, dynamic QoS management scheme should be considered. In this paper, we propose a handover scheme for dyanamic QoS as the network situation in B3G networks. The heterogeneous networks can be used for dynamic QoS management in B3G networks.

The request of interrupt accompanies a context switching. If the interrupt is frequently requested, this overhead of context switching can reduce seriously the performance of embedded systems. In order to reduce processing overhead due to frequently requested communication interrupts at Asynchronous Serial Communication, this paper introduces the method of Expanded Asynchronous Serial Communication with the Interrupt Coalescence(IC) that accumulates a fixed number of interrupts and processes them in one time. we implement the existing Asynchronous Serial Communication that requests communication interrupts by one byte at an LN2440SBC embedded board with a uC/OS-II and compare interrupt processing time for the performance evaluation about proposed method. As a result, the communication interrupt processing time of proposed method appears in case of low speed(9,600 bps), the decline of an average 25.18% at transmission, the decline of an average 41.47% at reception. and in case of hight speed(115,200 bps), the decline of an average 16.67% at transmission, the decline of an average 25.61% at reception.

In this paper, a low-area symbol timing offset synchronization structure for WLAN Modem is proposed. Using CSD(Canonic Signed Digit) coefficients and CSS(Common Sub-expression Sharing) technique for the filter implementation, efficient structure for multiplication block can be obtained. Function simulation for proposed structure is done by using the preamble with timing offset. Through Verilog-HDL coding and synthesis, it is shown that the proposed symbol timing offset synchronization structure can be implemented with low-area semiconductor.

Abstract In this paper, we describe client/server puretone audiometer supporting video chat. Our system makes it possible for one audiometrist to concurrently assess multiple subjects. An audiometrist in remote place can monitor assessment procedure through video and/or result of each assessment step. This system also provides a video chat facility to lead audiometrist without a hitch whenever there occurs any problem during assessment. The one-to-many model of this system makes subjects to reduce not only expense but also waiting time.

However, cloud service users(enterprisers) are very concerned about the risks created by the characteristics of cloud computing. In this paper, we discuss major concerns about cloud computing environments including concerns regarding security. We also analyze the security concerns specifically, identify threats to cloud computing, and propose general countermeasures to reduce the security risks.
A Framework for Digitalizing Handwritten Document using Digital Pen and Handwriting Recognition Technology

Business still relies heavily on pen and paper for legal reasons or convenience. The handwritten document is to be converted into digitalized document for IT system to manage and process in real time. Because the previous document digitalization systems convert the handwritten documents into digitalized documents by scanning and post-processing the documents, it is difficult to seamlessly proceed the work process. This paper proposes the LiveForm, a framework for digitalizing handwritten document using digital pen and handwriting recognition technology. To prove the applicability of the proposed LiveForm, we also implement a LiveForm based service in industrial gas distribution process and analyze effects of the system. The LiveForm generates the same digital image as the handwritten document by writing up the paper with absolute coordinates by digital pen and converts the handwriting data to digital text to insert the information into back-end system. The LiveForm based system eliminates scanning for document digitalization and data input with keyboard into back-end system in paper-based information gathering. Therefore, it is possible for the LiveForm to improve work process in various business areas.

Currently, efforts towards pursuit of standardization of u-Health technology and for development of our own source technologies and functions in Korea are being made continuously. Accordingly, base technologies in the area of u-Health software as well as trends in and standards of u-Health software market were investigated, and this Study aims to develop reliable evaluation model for u-Health software. For this purpose, characteristics and service types of u-Health software were examined, and u-Health technological trend and standards were analyzed. On the basis of these preliminary research, reliable evaluation model for u-Health software was developed.
A Theoretical Study on the Ground Water Flow Adjacent to Buried Pipe

A theoretical study on the ground water flow adjacent to buried pipe was conducted. Incompressible and irrotational flow were considered in analytical study. Ground water flow were defined by complex potentials. Firstly, uniform flow without buried pipe was analysed and then the effect of buried pipe was considered by superposition via circle theorem. Although two kinds of flow can be added by linearity of complex potentials, investigation of the singularities of the complex potentials should be done in advance. Finally, ground water flow past a buried pipe was analysed via complex potentials and net force exerted on the buried pipe by the ground water flowing past with circulation was derived.

The purpose of this paper is to provide an understanding of building systems and to propose methods of building system analysis and integration. Building components are classified into four major systems; structure, mechanical, envelope, and interior system. There are 11 combinations between major systems. Three integration modes(physical, visual, and functional integration) and 12 integration strategies are proposed. A case study of Richards Medical Research Buildings designed by Louis I. Kahn was conducted from the perspective of building system analysis and integration.

Strength properties of cement mortar was carried out silica fume(SF) and Titanium Dioxide(

This study is on the application of TOPMODEL-topographic based hydrologic model-to the runoff analysis, The test area was the ssang-chi watershed which is mountainous catchment located in the upstream of the sumjin-gang basin and the watershed area is
. The six's hourly runoff and precipitation data was selected in the 2006 ~ 2009 year. And the model parameters are calibrated using observed runoff data by Pattern Search method. The topographic index of the ssang-chi catchment was produced by digital elevation model(DEM) of 100m grid. As a results of the analysis, the parameters of model, a decay facter(m), transmissivity(T0), and the unsaturated zone delay(TD) are sensible to hydrologic response, and the simulated runoff data are in good agreement with observed runoff data.
Study on water quality management of lake Pyeungtaek for the reduction of pollutant loadings in upstream watersheds

Water quality surveys has been performed to establish water quality improvement strategy for the lake Pyeungtaek, and WASP model was used to simulate to identify the effect of water quality improvement according to the reduction of pollutant loadings for the upstream watersheds. Assuming that present loadings was continued up to the future, the water quality of the lake was found to be getting worse resulting from the increase of pollutants due to the planned future development. In this study, we made various scenarios to predict the future water quality, scenario 6 made a large contribution to improve the lake water quality compared to others. Even the scenario 6, COD concentration of year 2016 in the lake was examined to be under the 4th rate of water quality level for the lake (COD less than 8 mg/L), similar to year 2021. Even though additional reduction of loadings for the scenario 6 was made, the water quality in lake was a little improvement, and was though to be inappropriate action in the economic point of view.
An Optimization Study on the NGL Recovery Process Using Turbo-expander

In this study, simulation and optimization works for a demethanizer column have been performed to obtain ethane and heavier products from a pretreated natural gas stream. Pretreated natural gas feed stream is partially condensed after being precooled by exchanging heat with demethanizer top vapor stream and by using an external refrigeration cycle with a propane refrigerant. Vapor stream is furtherly cooled and partially condensed through a turbo-expander and the power generated from the expansion of turbo-expander was delivered to the compressor for the residue gas compression. Liquid stream is being cooled by Joule-Thomson expansion valve and is fed to the middle section of the demethanizer. Ethane recovery percent for feed natural gas was set to 75% and methane to ethane molar ratio was fixed as 0.015. Propane refrigeration heat duty was reduced by splitting the feed stream and to exchange heat with side reboiler.
Interfacial Fracture Behavior of Epoxy Adhesives for Electronic Components

In the field of the entire electronic component industry including mobile IT products, the importance of a versatile package with the multifunctional or high capacity memories is gradually increased. Multi Chip Package which has several chips in a single package is frequently used for that purpose. In MCP, epoxy adhesive films play a major role in adhesion between the chips or between chip and substrate. A series of silane coupling agents with a functional group such as epoxy, amine, mercaptan, and isocyanate were applied to the epoxy adhesives and material properties such as wettability and reliability of the adhesives were investigated. From the results, the silane coupling agent with an epoxy functional group showed highest wettability and peel strength in epoxy adhesive. For those reasons, it lead to a superior reliability in the epoxy adhesive against interfacial fracture behaviors through moisture resistance test.
Forecasting of Heat Demand in Winter Using Linear Regresson Models for Korea District Heating Corporation

In this paper, we propose an algorithm using linear regression model that forecasts the demand of heated water in winter. To supply heated water to apartments, stores and office buildings, Korea District Heating Corp.(KDHC) operates boilers including electric power generators. In order to operate facilities generating heated water economically, it is essential to forecast daily demand of heated water with accuracy. Analysis of history data of Kangnam Branch of KDHC in 2006 and 2007 reveals that heated water supply on previous day as well as temperature are the most important factors to forecast the daily demand of heated water. When calculated by the proposed regression model, mean absolute percentage error for the demand of heated water in winter of the year 2006 through 2009 does not exceed 3.87%.
