An Evaluation of Skiving Cutting Characteristics of TiCN PACVD Coating Caribide Hob

SCM420 steel tempered after performing gear hove PACVD carbide coating on the surface after the cutting surface hardness was high. Difficult-to-cut, without coating is classified as mild as large, including materials like mild, high strength that improves tool life and productivity have limited availability. Drive to improve it in the TiCN-coated carbide call for war to the finish coating on cutting a hob skiving good workability, tool wear less, 2.5-fold increase in tool life results were obtained. Experiments using CNC Skiving hobbing machine with wet cutting conditions, cutting speed and feed rate to apply a variety of the tool wear and surface roughness data were obtained. Simulation Analysis on the Compression Property of Sandwich Composite

In this study, compression analyses of sandwich composites with porous core were carried out. Finite element models of aluminum foam and honeycomb core sandwich composite material were applied solid element. In the case of aluminum foam core, valid equivalence damage model was applied. In the in-plane compression analysis, the maximum load of aluminum foam core sandwich was similar with that of aluminum honeycomb core sandwich. But in case of aluminum honeycomb core sandwich, the load support region becomes longer in comparison with aluminum foam core sandwich. In the out-plane compression analysis, compression maximum load of aluminum honeycomb core sandwich was higher than that of aluminum foam core sandwich. Through these Simulation analysis, obtains the behavior of sandwich composites.
A Study on Direct Cooling and Washing Machine for Energy Saving-Type Dyeing Machine

Due to increase in production of the domestic textile industry, energy consumption in textile industry is still growing. Traditional dyeing machine has high temperature and pressure. Accordingly, it uses an indirect cooling system that utilize a heat exchanger to cool after the dyeing. However, this indirect cooling system consumes a great deal of water, takes prolonged periods of time to process and, most importantly, because of the condensing of the dye at the cooling stage requires further energy in reduction cleaning and washing process. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a direct cooling washing machine that replaces the traditional indirect cooling system to provide coolant into the dyeing machine. The newly proposed direct cooling washing machine will still use parts of the traditional dying but will be able to skip the cooling as well as the reduction cleaning and washing process, resulting in less processing time and lower energy consumption. Also, we made a prototype. The prototype was applied to dyeing machine to test the direct cooling washing machine's ability and dyeing property. Additionally, we compared indirect cooling washing machine with direct cooling washing machine about ability, material and energy saving assessment.
Thermoluminescence Properties of Elpasolite Scintillation Single Crystal

In this paper, we determined the scintillation and thermoluminescence properties of
elpasolite scintillation crystal. The emission spectrum of
is located in the range of 300 ~ 450 nm, peaking at 377 nm and 400 nm. And, the fluorescence decay time of the crystal is composed two components. The fast component is 140 ns (94%), and the slow component is 880 ns (6%) of the crystal. The after-glow is caused by the electron and hole traps in the crystal lattices. We determined thermoluminescence parameters of the traps in the crystal. The determined activation energy(E), kinetic order and frequency factor of the traps are 0.67 eV, 1.71 and
respectively. In this crystal, re-combination rate is more dominant phenomenon than the re-trapping rate.
A study on the improvement of vehicle fuel economy by fuel-cut driving

It happens that the fuel is not injected when the driver doesn't push the acceleration pedal of vehicle with engine speed higher than 1,500rpm above the mid range of vehicle speed. This is called "fuel-cut function" and almost every modern vehicle is equipped with this function. This is activated frequently on the downhill area of highway and the quantity of vehicle-exhausted
gas can be zero on this area. With this fuel-cut function on the test highway,
gas from passenger car(2,000cc engine volume) can be reduced up to 4%. The fuel-cut function with CRUISE made in company AVL is simulated to find the most effective driving pattern on the downhill area. By simulating with CRUISE software, it is found that the lower limit of vehicle speed for fuel-cut should be raised to improve the fuel economy on the steeper downhill road. The fuel economy can be most economical when fuel-cut driving and reacceleration are completed on the section of downhill road.
Study on Vibration and Fatigue Analysis for Plastic Suspension Mat of Automotive Seat

Automotive suspension mat is installed at seat back frame. As the back part of passenger is aupported by suspension mat, it is prevented from the pressure concentration. The tired feeling at driving is minimized and the comfortable feeling is increased. In this study, vibration and fatigue are analyzed with plastic suspension mat modelled by 3 Dimension. By the analysis result, the natural frequency becomes 30 Hz with life of
cycle and safety factor of 1.6055. Development time and evaluation cost can be cut down by utilizing this analytical technique.
Study on the Performance Characteristics of the Thermosyphon Used for the Vehicle Operated at Low Temperature Conditions

The objective of this study is to investigate low temperature performance characteristics of the thermosyphon with/without wick. Thermosyphons using water as the working fluid are tested with variations of wick, charge amount of the working fluid, outdoor temperature, and heat load for the evaporator section at a low temperature. As a result, the heat transfer of thermosyphon was optimized at the charge amount of 40% and increased with the rise of the outdoor temperatures.
Performance Analysis of Oil Separators for Gasoline Engine Using CFD Simulation

Computational simulation has been conducted to analyze the oil separation performance of gasoline engine oil separators. Two models are compared to select a proper oil separator for the engine. To analyze oil separation characteristics, d50 and separation efficiency have been calculated for each separator. As a result, model A shows excellent d50 and separation efficiency, and model B shows good pressure-drop characteristics. Model B is recommended for the general gasoline engine with low crank-case pressure and low oil consumption. Model A is recommended for the engine with high crank-case pressure and high oil consumption, especially equipped with special exhaust gas treatment system, that is critical to the oil contamination.
Estimation of Empirical Fatigue Crack Propagation Model of AZ31 Magnesium Alloys under Different Maximum Loads

It is the aim of this paper to propose the empirical fatigue crack propagation model fit to describe a crack growth behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloys. The statistical data of a crack growth for an estimation are obtained by fatigue crack propagation tests under the three cases of maximum load. The empirical models estimated are Paris-Erdogan model, Walker model, Forman model, and modified-Forman model. It is found that the empirical model fit to describe a crack growth behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloys is Paris-Erdogan model and Walker model. It is also verified that a fatigue crack growth rate exponent of a empirical model is to be a material constant.

This research the impacts of the experiential marketing elements to the relationashin orientation and the results are as follow. It showed items of emotional experience, cognitive experiences, ative experience, relationshin experience positively affect to the festival brand loyalty. Through these results, first, we could suggest a new data for the development of the festival experience marketing for the enhancement of the festival brands in the future. Second, as the new research applying the festival and experiential marketing, we could found the experiential marketing through the intangible goods as like the festival could affect to the reinforcing of the relationship orientation. This is scientifically could suggest the basis to enlarge the scope of application. Also it could suggest industrially a lot of implications to establish the marketing strategy of the festival and reinforcing strategy of the relationship orientation.
A Performance Analysis of Environmental Education based on a Combined AHP and RFM Model

The environmental education is more and more important according to increasing environmental problems, but university students don't receive it actively. Actually, environmental education in university is conducted and focused on environmental engineering. In order to have an effect on environmental education for all engineering college students, the course of environmental education consists of various fields of engineering study including environmental engineering. The environmental education categories for engineering college students are determined by using an AHP technique in this study. After educating engineering college students with the developed environmental education course, we evaluated the environmental education performance using the survey on perception level and purchasing data of environmentally consciously products by statistical and RFM analysis.
A Study on Use Motivation of SNS and Communication Behavior

The purpose of this study is to explore how use motivation of SNS influences communication activity and SNS media engagement. The major findings are as follows. First, three Factors are identified from the result of scale purification through exploratory factor analysis(EFA) on use motivation of SNS. Three factors of SNS use motivation are information/knowledge acquisition motivation (IKAM), communication/relationship maintaining motivation(CRMM), opinion/information presenting motivation(OIPM). It is found that a significant difference on CRMM between sex. Second, CRMM and OIPM are statistically significant to communication activity. Third, IKAM and CRMM are statistically significant to SNS media engagement.
The Relationship between Anxiety, Anger and Fatigue among Stress factor of Nursing Students in Clinical Practice

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between anxiety, anger and fatigue among stress factor in clinical practice of nursing students. The subjects were 197 nursing students who have practiced at the hospital in T city. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, t-test and pearson's correlation coefficient. The mean score for stress was 3.82. The mean score for anxiety was 48.82. The mean score for anger was 1.17. The mean score for fatigue was 30.96. The factor of stress was a significant difference of anxiety according to conference, theory and practice, satisfaction of clinical practice. The factor of stress was a significant difference of anger according to report, theory and practice, orientation, nurse, environment. The factor of stress was a significant difference of fatigue according to conference, orientation, environment, patient relationship. In results, This study revealed that there was a significant correlation among stress, anxiety, anger and fatigue of nursing students in clinical practice.
Validation Technique of Simulation Model using Weighted F-measure with Hierarchical X-means (WF-HX) Method

Simulation validation techniques which have been employed in most studies are statistical analysis, which validate a model with mean or variance of throughput and resource utilization as an evaluation object. However, these methods have not been able to ensure the reliability of individual elements of the model well. To overcome the problem, the weighted F-measure method was proposed, but this technique also had some limitations. First, it is difficult to apply the technique to complex system environment with numerous values of interarrival time because it assigns a class to an individual value of interarrival time. In addition, due to unbounded weights, the value of weighted F-measure has no lower bound, so it is difficult to determine its threshold. Therefore, this paper propose weighted F-measure technique with cluster analysis to solve these problems. The classes for the technique are defined by each cluster, which reduces considerable number of classes and enables to apply the technique to various systems. Moreover, we improved the validation technique in the way of assigning minimum bounded weights without any lack of objectivity.
Making the Concept of city brand for using tourism contents -C city-

The focus on the tourism development after executing the local self-governing system has been changed into a software from a hardware. Especially, the local self-governing bodies in recent years have found their local attractions, and then made them into the tourist contents (branded as a kind of commercial article) which can represent their local culture and environment. They are positively making the most of the contents for their public relations. But, as the tourist contents are used as a limited form, they need to be developed as a city brand which is comprehensive and unifying. Accordingly, in this paper, the C-city was selected as an example. and a city brand of C-city was made on the basis of the tourist contents.
A Study on the Relationship of the Professors' Transformational Leadership with the Students' Departmental Identification, Study Engagement and Organizational Citizenship Behavior to School

The researchers of the organizational behavior have been interested in the performances of transformational leadership in various environments and cultures. In this study, data were collected to find out the effects of professors' transformational leadership on students’ departmental identification, study engagement and organizational citizenship behavior to school. This study also tested indirect effect between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior via departmental identification and study engagement. The results indicated significant direct relation between professors' transformational leadership and departmental identification, study engagement and citizenship behavior to school. But direct relation between study engagement and citizenship behavior was not found. Departmental identification was found as a mediator between transformational leadership and citizenship behavior. This study suggests that professors' transformational leadership is quite necessary for school, department and student.

The Influence of University Students' Locus of Control on Stress towards Employment

With rising concerns on downturn of global economy, college graduates are experiencing a serious unemployment crisis. In this reality, undergraduates preparing for employment face much stress from worries and conflicts. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to examine the influence of university student's belief of destiny on sub factors of employment stress such as environmental, physical, psychological and keen behaviors according to internal and external locus of control. 550 surveys were distributed to four-year university students in Seoul, capital area and rural area for 15 days from October 5 until October 20, 2011. 480 surveys were returned, among which 430 were effective as study subjects. As a result of this study, first, environmental influence on employment stress was high at 49% while physical influence was 7%. Second, as a result of performing correlation analysis on employment stress and locus of control, external locus of control showed positive influence in environmental, physical, psychological and keen behaviors. Internal locus of control showed negative influence in all behaviors, suggesting that more diverse career information must be provided. Since increase in career efficacy and reduction of employment stress in university students are directly linked to unemployment rate of youths, diverse and active methods are deemed necessary.
Exploring User Perceived Usability Characteristics of Applications on Smart Phones: A Grounded Theory Analysis of User Reviews

The market penetration of the smart phones has brought significant changes to the related industries. As the mobile phone market as well as the smart phone application market are growing rapidly, competition among small-size application developers has become severe. However, due to the severe competition and expensive market entry costs, the developers argue that it is necessary to develope the applications from the perspective of the users. However, studies on application development from the users' perspectives are still in the early stages and they have not provided various approaches. Therefore, based on the Open Coding method of Ground Theory, this study collected data on applications review from related communities and blogs of Korean web portal sites, and identified indices which users consider important when they use the applications. In addition, we conduct a comparative analysis between those indices by calculating their frequency of exposure. As a result, a total of 30 sub-categories of indicators such as amusement, controllability, versatility and ease of use appeared to be predominant to users and those lower categories were grouped into five categories; sensibility, design, technology, price, and social skills. The results of this study suggest to the application developers the guidelines of user oriented design and development. It can be used to develop the evaluation tool for application usability.
An Empirical Study of Factors Influencing Intention to Use Smartphone Applications

The market of smartphone applications grows rapidly. We studied to evaluate empirically how personality variables related to personal attitudes(innovativeness and affinity) and information quality(interaction, content, and contextual) can affect use intention and customer loyalty in smartphone applications. The results of the study are as follows: Innovativeness, content quality and contextual quality were found to have a positive effect on intentions to use smartphone applications. However affinity and interactivity were found to have a negative effect on use intention. And use intention was found to have negative effect on customer loyalty for smartphone applications.
Mediated effects of Hope on the Relationship between Ego-resilience and Independent Will of Adolescents in Residential Cares

This study was carried out to verify the mediated effect of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will of adolescents in residential cares. The data were collected from adolescents living in residential cares purposely selected in Chungnam province, Seoul and Incheon. Firstly, the result showed the significantly positive relationship among independent will, ego-resilience, and hope. Secondly, ego-resilience and hope of adolescents in residential cares significantly influenced independent will. Thirdly, the result also proved the mediated effects of hope on the relationship between ego-resilience and independent will.
A Study on the Meaning of life, Change to Attitude toward the Old and Hospice Perception through Hospice Education Program of Care Worker Trainees

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of the meaning of life, change to attitude toward the old and hospice perception through pre/post hospice education program of care worker trainees. Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design. The research period was from May to June, 2011. The subjects of the study were 53 care worker trainees in T city and S city. The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 17.0 program with descriptive statistics and paired t-test, mean, standard deviation. The period of this study was from May 9 to June 20 of 2011. Results: The meaning of life and hospice perception were significantly different between pre- and post-program. The attitude toward the old did not show a significant difference before and after the program. Conclusion: This study is need to improve hospice education program for comprehend meaning of life, change to attitude toward the ole and improve hospice perception.

Education and Training of Workers, Small Business men Impact on Job Satisfaction

We target small businesses workers and identified a relationship of job satisfaction and verified that training is valid in the relationship of job satisfaction. So we have an object and it is basic data for provide improvinge workers' welfare policy. In this study, effectiveness, suitability, familiarity, clarity of training, and job satisfaction levels, organizational management and welfare, turnover attitude are of job satisfaction have a close correlation. So we can maximize the efficiency of business due to adjusting sub-variables of training adequately. This study has specific meaning that is uncovering the mediating effect of education and training for workers in small businesses. Now we can do policy implications and recommendations based job satisfaction factors, training factors, and the parameters of training scores.
A Study on the Relationship between Multicultural Awareness and Multicultural Efficacy in Elementary School Students

The purposes of the study are to understand how multicultural awareness and multicultural efficacy is different and to investigate the factors of multicural awareness affecting the multicultural efficacy. To achieve the goals, the study conducted surveys to examine an interrelation of multicural awareness and efficacy on 329 elementary school students in North Jeolla Province with questionnaires. First, the results showed significant differences in the multicultural awareness and efficacy based on all the ground factors. Second, it was found that elementary school students had significant relations in multicultural awareness and efficacy. Third, the multicultural awareness among elementary school students significantly affected their multicultural efficacy. The study suggests that sustaining multicultural education shall be implemented for elementary school students to have right and positive minds and various studies shall be conducted to nurture values in their lives to live together.
The Related Factors to Perceived gastritis or Perceived enteritis in High school seniors -the 2009 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey-

This study analyzed the related factors affecting to perceived gastritis or perceived enteritis for 11,753 Korean high school seniors who participated in the 2009 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (KYHRBWS). Of the subjects, 5,685 (47.6%)were male and 6,068(52.4%) were female and 8.7% of the students responded that they had suffered from gastritis or enteritis for a long time and the females had a slightly higher attack rate of gastritis or enteritis. Survey logistic regression models and decision tree analysis were used to calculate odd ratios and 95% confidence intervals. As a result, there was affecting to their stress and health behaviors in the risk of gastritis and enteritis, and that their lower level perceived health, smoking, heavy drinking or starting drinking before they were 13 years old and a higher level of perceived stress significantly affected the risk of gastritis or enteritis in the subjects(p<.001).
A Study on the Relationship of Sociological Characteristics to Oral Health Status in Population International Marriage Migrant Women

The purpose of this study is to figure out and establish the basic data that can help improve management of oral healthcare for the international marriage migrantwomen. In this sense, we surveyed questions on 237 women out of 1,300 immigrant women, who have participated the program in operation by multi-cultural household supporting center, in a fashion of face-to-face investigation and on-the-spot direct cavity inspection simultaneously from May 1th to October 31th, 2010. Collected data were electro-statistically computerized under SPSS 17.0 program and analyzed with frequency analysis, recurrence analysis and logistic regression analysis respectively. Foundings were revealed as follows; On the nationality base, show the data in the ratio of 38.8% for Vietnamese, 29.1% for Philippine, 12.2% for Chinese and 6.8% for Japanese respectively. Current oral cavity status shows in the ratio of 60% with carious tooth symptoms, 40% without carious tooth symptom. Philippine women have irregular sets of tooth in many a case. (i.e., in short of numbers of teeth, due to removing individual tooth.) Japanese ladies are indicated to have less irregular sets of tooth, in comparison with that of the other immigrants from overseas. And lastly, high-income immigrant women in general were found having less numbers of unhealthy sets of tooth. Getting older, it appears that decayed tooth symptom is on the tendency of getting less in the field of dentistry circles. Immigrant ladies living with husbands under higher education background usually are found living a life in the less ratio of having toothache. A full-time immigrant housewives, however, are living everyday life in more times of suffering with tooth disease.
Development and Evaluation of a Dysphagia Assessment Tool and an Intervention Program for the Elderly in the Long-Term Care Facilities

The purpose of this study was to develop a dysphagia assessment tool and a intervention program for elderly in the long-term care facilities and to evaluate its effect. The dysphagia assessment tool consists of 20 items was developed through literature review, previous studies and discussion with nursing/medical members. The intervention program consisted of 72 items and participants for evaluation were 50 elders who were registered at long-term care facilities in 4 regions of Seoul. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 and Spearman's Correlation, t-test, and
-test. After the application of the dysphagia assessment tool and intervention program, the weight in experimental group was increased (t=4.913, p=.000) and the total time of swallowing was reduced (t=-4.557, p=.000) than control group. These findings were statistically significant. Considering these results, by applying the dysphagia assessment tool and the intervention program, the lives of the elderly in long-term care facilities are expected to be improved and emergency situations such as aspiration pneumonia and asphyxia will be decreased.
Relationship between University Student's attributional-style and learning Adaptation Considered in Department Selection

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factor giving effect to department selection, learning adaptation and attributional-style after entering school by selecting university students as targets and help high school students who will graduate soon and university students select department and direction. Those were analyzed by using 287 questionnaire data from June 1 to June 30, 2011. The study result revealed that 64.5% of students considered 'popularity and employment prospect' first when they select department. Generally, it was researched that when selecting department, 68.8% of women and 78.7% of health major considered 'popularity and employment prospect'(P<0.05, P<0.01). For learning adaptation and attribution trend of each major, health major showed that learning adaptation was high when motif was high and application score was high and for the relationship with attributional-style, health major showed higher internal attributional-style, showing significant difference(P<0.05). When synthesizing the results above, it is necessary to develop and use the program that can develop internal attribution trend of students on the basis of attributional-style. For planned and careful selection, it is necessary to perform synthetic consulting through direction search program that considers entrance period of middle school or high school, general affairs of university or direction guide to increase department or direction adaptation in the future.
Effects of Oketani Breast Massage on Breast Discomfort, Breast Pumping Time and Breast-milk compositions in Preterm Infants' Mothers

The purpose of this study was to measure breast discomfort, breast pumping time, and breast milk compositions, specially lipid, calorie, and creamatocrit, after Oketani breast massage program. This study is a single group pretest-posttest design. Seventeen mothers who have preterm babies were received Oketani breast massage program. To evaluate the effects of Oketani massage program, data were measured the breast discomfort by the visual analogue scale, breast pumping time, and breast milk lipid, calorie, creamatocrit by a Creamatocrit plus machine, the standard centrifuge with digital calipers. The breast discomfort was significantly reduced after two Oketani breast massage programs(p<.05). In terms of composition of breast milk, lipid, calorie, and crematocrit were significantly increased after second Oketani massage program(p<.05). The Oketani breast massage program applied to mothers who have preterm babies could reduce breast discomfort and increase lipid, calorie, and creamatocrit of breast milk.

A bioterrorism attack(BT) attack is the deliberate release of viruses, bacteria, fungi, and toxins used to cause illness or death in people, animal, and plants. Therefore, the healthcare workers are those who will take the main role in BT outbreak situations. The purpose of this study is to investigate current status of education for BT preparedness and response in health-related colleges. It is important to provide the BT preparedness and response to the health-allied students in case of unexpected BT outbreak. The questionnaires were collected from March 10 to June 10 in 2007 via mai l. Approximately 97.6% of the health-related professors answered that they had no experience of bioterrorism education. The contents of the bioterrorism curricula should contain the followings : definition and characteristics of the emergency and disaster, definition of bioterrorism, history of bioterrorism, general characteristics of bioterrorism, etiological agents of bioterrorism, bioterrorism response, systematic response, and medical response. Through these data, we will develop the disaster and bioterrorism preparedness curricula.
Effects of Vision Control Balance Training on Balance and Muscle Activities of Stroke Patients

This study aims to examine effects of vision control balance training applied to stroke patients on their balance. 26 stroke patients, the subjects of this study, were divided into an affected side 1/2 vision control group (9), a non-affected side 1/2 vision control group (9), and a non-vision control group (8). After vision control standing on Posturo-med, all of the three groups received balance training 20 minutes four times per week for 8 weeks watching themselves 1M away from a mirror. To measure their balance abilities, measurements were made on their time of balance maintenance and muscle activity prior to the intervention, four 4 after the intervention, and 8 weeks after the intervention. Vision control balance training applied to stroke patients resulted in increase in their time of balance maintenance and significant improvement in vastus medialis muscle activity (p<0.05). This study result is that vision control balance training is considered an effective exercise method for balance training of stroke patients.
Correlation Between Major Satisfaction and Further Career Choices of the Students in the Department of Health Administration College

This research, targeting the college students majoring in health administration science in Kwangju & Chonnam, is aimed at understanding their satisfaction with majors according to general, relationship, consciousness, and subject satisfaction, and looking into the correlation between the satisfaction and further career choices. This research set the 270 prospective graduates its study subjects based on convenience sampling. It was found that the number of students who want to choose their further major-related careers as medical records technician was greatest among the research subjects, of whom 62.4% were satisfied with their major subject while there existed a little difference in major satisfaction by further career. In addition, the students who want to choose the career of medical records filer showed higher satisfaction with their major subject than those who want to choose other-major-related careers. In general characteristics among the influential factors of major satisfaction in major-related career choices of a students of health administration science department, the 2nd year classes' major satisfaction was found to be 4.13 times as high as the 3rd year classes while the major satisfaction of the group choosing their major subject spontaneously was found to be 8.04 times as significantly high as the group choosing their major subject involuntarily. As a result of the analysis of the influence on major satisfaction among the sub-province of major satisfaction, it was found that the group having high consciousness satisfaction was 3.93 times as significantly high as the group having low consciousness satisfaction. A logistic analysis of the influence of major satisfaction on further career choices, the major satisfaction of those wishing to choose their major-related career as a medical records technician was 2.06 times as significantly high as those who didn't choose a medical records filer as their career choice while the major satisfaction of the group spontaneously choosing the career of a medical records technician was 4.51 times as significantly high as that of the group involuntarily choosing the career of a medical records technician. There should be a plan for enhancing major satisfaction by each major-related career in consideration of the characteristics of health administration science department having diverse career choices.
Psychosocial Stress and Related Factors among High School Students in a City

The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of psychosocial stress and its related factors. The self-administered questionnaires were delivered to 514 high school students of both sexes in Daejon city during the period from April 1 to May 31, 2011. As a results, the degree of psychosocial stress of study subjects was 6.4% in healthy group, 72.4% in latent stress group, 21.2% in high risk stress group. The high risk stress group was significantly high in the group of worse relation with friend, lower satisfaction with the school life, none of siblings and lower satisfaction with the home life. The odds ratio of the high risk stress group significantly increased in the worse relation with friend, lower satisfaction with the school life, none of siblings and lower satisfaction with the home life than their respective counterparts. Multiple regression analysis showed that the major variables of influence on psychosocial stress included satisfaction of school life, friendship with the school fellow, number of siblings and satisfaction of home life.
A Study on Dietary Habits and Obesity of the Culinary College Students

We studied about dietary habits and obesity of the culinary college students, the average age of male subject was 20.4 years, female 19.8years, male height 174.0cm, female 162.6 cm, body weight of male 71.4 kg, female 60.3 kg. Average body fat% of male was 20.5%, that of female was 30.2%, their average body fat% was at the range of overweight. Most subjects were not satisfied with their body weight and seemed to have ideal body shape as standard and lean. 51.6% of male and 35.2% of female students did not eat breakfast. Male students ratio of eating lunch every day was 41.7%, that of female was 27.0%, male students ratio of eating dinner every day was 54.8%, that of female was 35.5%. They liked to eat meal as rice type and 1-2day per week, they used to eat night snack. The first cause of not eating meal was lack of time. Under stress 56 % of male eated as much as usual, 58.7% of female eated more than usual.
Inter-regional Transport Accident Mode Comparison Using National Hospital Discharge Patients Injury Survey

The purpose of this study was to compare inter-regional accident modes using the National Hospital Discharge Patient Injury Survey. In order to determine economic status of each region, 234 cities and counties were categorized as 5 groups according to their financial self-reliance ratio. The main results are as follows. First, transport accidents had increased by the age group of 25 to 44 but decreased thereafter. Second, the frequency of car accidents was the highest among several types of transport accidents. Most common site of transport accidents was roads and highways. Third, there was significant difference in the modes of transport accident among regions. Fourth, emergency admission rate was quite different according to regional groups but it was no significant difference by economic status. Lastly, there was significant difference in injury patterns by region groups. In regions which were high economic status, there were relatively less serious injury patterns such as sprain, strain, dislocation while regions which were in low economic status had experienced serious injury including fracture, stab wound, and open fracture. We could find the difference in accident modes by regional economic status. Therefore, health authority should consider different accident prevention strategies by regional groups.

Also, this study is investigated the regenerative braking power securities of permanent magnet synchronous motors, speed detection to stop electric brake at extremely very low speed and motor control method of algorithm.
Parameter Estimation of Dynamic System Based on UKF

In this paper, the states and the parameters in the dynamic system are simultaneously estimated by applying the UKF(Unscented Kalman Filter), which is widely used for estimating the state of non-linear systems. Estimating the parameter is very important in various fields, such as system control, modeling, analysis of performance, and prediction. Most of the dynamic systems which are dealt with in engineering have non-linearity as well as some noise. Therefore, the parameter estimation is difficult. This paper estimates the states and the parameters applying to the UKF, which is a non-linear filter and has strong noise. The augmented equation is used by including the addition of the parameter factors to the original state equation of the system. Moreover, it is simulated by applying to a 2-DOF(Degree of Freedom) dynamic system composed of the pendulum and the slide. The measurement noise of the dynamic equation is assumed to be a Gaussian distribution. As the simulation results show, the proposed parameter estimation performs better than the LSM(Least Square Method). Furthermore, the estimation errors and convergence time are within three percent and 0.1 second, respectively. Consequentially, the UKF is able to estimate the system states and the parameters for the system, despite having measurement data with noise.

In this paper, we studied the design and fabrication of
array-type microstrip patch antenna to be used in wireless communication systems operating at around 5GHz band. To obtain wide bandwidth and high gain, antenna parameters such as patch size, inter patch space are simulated by HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator). From these parameters, the
array-type microstrip patch antenna is fabricated using FR-4 substrate. The measured results of the antenna are as follows: The center frequency of 5.06GHz, insertion loss of -44dB, bandwidth of 200MHz, and VWSR of 1.1.

In this paper, a number of anode and reference electrodes that are installed around the target anti-corrosion objects to monitor, appropriate to your situation of a fixed potential and polarization methods can be applied automatically in the system was developed. In particular, this system was configured with a remote electric anti-corrosion automatic control device that have automatically adjust function to uniformal anti-corrosion in all parts of target objects, a corrosion monitoring device to perform the function of corrosion potential detection and a web-based operating program to perform the function of real-time monitoring, control and prediction. Using this system, by preventing oxidative corrosion phenomena can maximize the life of the target anti-corrosion objects.
A Study on the Technical Regulation for Spurious Emission of Weak Field Strength Radio Receiver

A output strength is limited according to the frequency used in order to protect other wireless stations from interference caused by radio waves emitted from the low power wireless installations. For receivers, unwanted spurious emission is regulated, and regulations in Korea define that additional spurious emission for receivers in the low power wireless installations under 1GHz should be -54dBm, but no regulations have been established yet for low power wireless installations over 1GHz. It is presently required to set domestic standards for devices over 1GHz on account of the expansion of the communication market and its service.

Recently, as communication is evolved by leaps and bounds through wired/wireless networks, variety of services are routinely made through communication networks. Accordingly, technology that is for protecting data and personal information is required essentially, and study of security technology is actively being make progress to solve these information protection problems. In this paper, to expand selection scope of the key of elliptic curve cryptography, arithmetic items of real number based elliptic curve algorithm among various cryptographic algorithms was studied. The result of an experiment, we could know that elliptic curve cryptography using the real number can choose more various keys than existing elliptic curve cryptography using integer and implement securer cryptographic system.

In this paper, design and implementation of frequency down converter based on LC filter technic. Single frequency down converter, designed a low-noise amplifier, mixer, IF amplifier, LC filter was configured. And it is composed of DC block capacitors and RF bypass capacitor. LC filter, replace it with the IC reduced the power and realized low cost. The gain of single down converter is about 10dBm and realized by 18MHz bandwidth at 70MHz band.

This paper is the study for the directional solidification of the ingot through the thermal analysis simulation and structural change of casting furnace. With the results of thermal analysis simulation, the silicon as a whole has reached the melting temperature as the retention time 80 min. The best cooling conditions showed at the upper cooling temperature
and cooling time 60min. The fabricated wafers showed the superior etching result at the grain boundary than that of existing commercial wafers. The FTIR measurements of oxygen and carbon impurities were not in the critical value for solar conversion efficiency. The NAA analysis of metal impurities were also detected the total number of 18 different metals, but the concentration distribution showed no significant positional deviations in the same position from the top to the bottom.
Estimation of Optimal Mixture Number of GMM for Environmental Sounds Recognition

In this paper we applied the optimal mixture number estimation technique in GMM(Gaussian mixture model) using BIC(Bayesian information criterion) and MDL(minimum description length) as a model selection criterion for environmental sounds recognition. In the experiment, we extracted 12 MFCC(mel-frequency cepstral coefficients) features from 9 kinds of environmental sounds which amounts to 27747 data and classified them with GMM. As mentioned above, BIC and MDL is applied to estimate the optimal number of mixtures in each environmental sounds class. According to the experimental results, while the recognition performances are maintained, the computational complexity decreases by 17.8% with BIC and 31.7% with MDL. It shows that the computational complexity reduction by BIC and MDL is effective for environmental sounds recognition using GMM.

This study practically analyzed the relationships of safety awareness and safety practice of the day-care teacher according to the presence of CCTV and in particular, made a practical analysis about whether safety awareness have mediation effects in the relationship between presence of CCTV and safety practice. As a result of T-test analysis, safety awareness and safety practice of the day-care teacher according to the presence of CCTV is different that has been verified. As a result of regression analysis, safety awareness were positively related to safety practice. That is to say, even the mediation effects that the presence of CCTV through safety awareness related to safety practice were verified. As a result, it was concluded that safety awareness factors didn't play mediator roles between presence of CCTV and safety practice.
2D/3D image Conversion Method using Simplification of Level and Reduction of Noise for Optical Flow and Information of Edge

In this paper, we propose an improved optical flow algorithm which reduces computational complexity as well as noise level. This algorithm reduces computational time by applying level simplification technique and removes noise by using eigenvectors of objects. Optical flow is one of the accurate algorithms used to generate depth information from two image frames using the vectors which track the motions of pixels. This technique, however, has disadvantage of taking very long computational time because of the pixel-based calculation and can cause some noise problems. The level simplifying technique is applied to reduce the computational time, and the noise is removed by applying optical flow only to the area of having eigenvector, then using the edge image to generate the depth information of background area. Three-dimensional images were created from two-dimensional images using the proposed method which generates the depth information first and then converts into three-dimensional image using the depth information and DIBR(Depth Image Based Rendering) technique. The error rate was obtained using the SSIM(Structural SIMilarity index).

Because in order that the u-Healthcare service using this appeared before the footlights and the existing quality measurement reference considered the speed, error rate, and etc. just, guarantees the stability of the u-Healthcare, the quality control by service are necessary. In this paper, the quality measurement reference by mobile service considering the radio environment as the method for satisfying the quality guarantee of the u-Healthcare mobile service user and user needs was presented. The WiBro u-Healthcare wireless data service quality based system in the end user perspective was established through the main performance index and entrepreneur case presented in the international standardization institute including 3GPP, WiMAX forum, GSMA, and etc. through the related research and the validity of the quality index establishment was presented according to each service.

In this paper, as a proper authentication method, we made it authenticate a user who has unauthorized device with using authorized device received from telecommunication company using QR code. We designed a better performance protocol which can authenticate mutually using safer and uncomplicated operations than existing user authentication system. Proposed user authentication system authenticates previously authorized mobile device without any information of client who is requesting to get access from outside, so we can basically prevent attack from hackers. In the future, we can possibly use it as user authentication method in common internet environment or we could study on user unique information instead of mobile device information.

In this paper, a proposed system can be ensured safety using scrambling technique in order to protect personal information which identifies visually from the existing e-passport. This system inserts ID card number and photograph into e-passport using scrambling technique. In this system, we need user private key and CA private key to encrypt and decrypt which make it secure. And It show better performance in throughput by not encrypting or decrypting the whole e-passport.
Real-time Monitoring Systems for Malodor Compounds Sources using Ubiquitous Sensor Networks

Maintenance systems are demanded to manage malodor-information and deal effectively with the odor-related civil complaints by constructing the database for sources of malodor compounds in real time. In this paper, to carry out these tasks, a real-time monitering system for malodor based on ubiquitous sensor networks(USN) is presented. The constructed monitering system stores the malodor data collected periodically from industrial complex into the database and shows in real time the circumstances of the odor sources being emitted around the industrial complex by indicating on the map where it is taking place. Besides, by clicking an icon indicating the sensor node on the map, we can figure out what firms are located near the malodor source and possible material related with those firms. The proposed system is considered to enhance the efficiency of management of malodor-emitting firms based on the malodor-related information.

Character Region Detection Using Structural Features of Hangul Vowel

We proposes the method to detect the Hangul character region from natural image using topological structural feature of Hangul grapheme. First, we transform a natural image to a gray-scale image. Second, feature extraction performed with edge and connected component based method, Edge-based method use a Canny-edge detector and connected component based method applied the local range filtering. Next, if features are not corresponding to the heuristic rule of Hangul character, extracted features filtered out and select candidates of character region. Next, candidates of Hangul character region are merged into one Hangul character using Hangul character merging algorithm. Finally, we detect the final character region by Hangul character class decision algorithm. Experimental result, proposed method could detect a character region effectively in images that contains a complex background and various environments. As a result of the performance evaluation, A proposed method showed advanced results about detection of Hangul character region from mobile image.
A Portfolio Selection Strategy with Consideration of Managerial Efficiency and Growth Potential of Construction Corporations

This study presents a portfolio selection strategy focusing on construction corporations by taking into accounts managerial efficiency and growth potential of a company. Data envelopment analysis(DEA) methodology and dividend scoring table are adopted for evaluating the managerial efficiency and growth potential of a company respectively. In order to show the effectiveness of the portfolios selected by the strategies proposed in this study, we constructed 3 portfolios for every 4 years (2007-2010) out of 56 listed construction corporations in KOSPI and KOSDAQ, and proved that our portfolios are superior to benchmark portfolios in terms of portfolio evaluation measures.

Coastal zone management indicators are being used as an important means of decision making in the process of policy establishment for integrated coastal management and implementation, and these indicators are very useful tools that enable the evaluation of the coastal zone management from an integrated perspective, the understanding and analysis of interactions according to each department. Accordingly, most of organizations in international society and advanced coastal states tend to develop coastal zone management indicator system in order to check current coastal environment, social and economic status, also to grasp effectiveness of the coastal zone management policy. In this research, therefore, the characteristics of coastal zone management indicator system was drawn through understanding of strength and weakness, and conducting comparative analysis of the coastal zone management indicator system according to each level having classified domestic and international coastal zone management indicator system into three aspects at large: natural and environmental aspect; social and economic aspect; and network aspect. As a result, following features were drawn as the common characteristics among the cases in the advanced coastal states: the management means for realization of sustainable coastal zone management; scientific decision making tools for various stakeholders; evaluation means for effectiveness of coastal zone integrated management; and dualization of coastal zone management indicator system; etc. Lastly, based on these common values revealed in the domestic and international coastal management indicator system, a suggestion for correct establishment of the domestic coastal management indicators was proposed in the regional aspect.

This paper suggests some strategies for the regional regeneration of Baegun Railway station and surrounding area. One is the reduction of the regional unbalance in those divided into two parts, the other is multi-dimentional plan through the efficient land-use on the side area of railway. For these regional regeneration, providing integrated transit system for the passenger's convenience, connecting existing green axis and creating green zone covering the railway, modifying and improvement of residential environment are suggested.

The researches and discussion for regenerating the deprived urban residential areas are proceeding actively. But urban agriculture is regard as a simple tool for participation of resident and its value as primary industry is discussed in part. Now discussion about increasing the place capital is needed to overcome the existing urban development methods that maximizes the space capital as a new alternative. So this research is to give a theoretical basis for sustainable urban regeneration. It studies the place value improvement through urban agriculture which is applied creative industry convergence. For these, it indicates problems of the methods of existing urban development, reveal the strengths of urban agriculture applied creative industry convergence in the aspect of place value improvement, and suggests a new paradigm for urban regeneration.
Comparative Study on the Properties Estimation of the Constituents of the Natural Gas and Refrigerant Mixtures Between GERG-2004 Model and Peng-Robinson Equation of State

In this study, we compared with results simulated by EOS(Equation of State) using Peng-Robinson model and GERG-2004 model for estimating vapor pressure, latent heat of vaporation, liquid density, and binary isotherm vapor-liquid equilibrium on pure components composing natural gases. We obtained the simulated results that while EOS using GERG-2004 model is more accurate than EOS using Peng-Robinson model for estimating liquid density, but rather it is less accurate for estimating binary isotherm vapor-liquid equilibrium. On the other hand, the use of Costald model in EOS using Peng-Robinson model for increasing more accuracy to calculate liquid density is almost same as EOS using GERG-2004 model within the error of 1 % compared with experimental data. Also, we confirmed that on the estimation of binary isotherm vapor-liquid equilibrium, EOS using GERG-2004 model is more accurate than EOS using Peng-Robinson model, but they are almost same.
Toughening of PLA stereocomplex by Impact modifiers

We tried to blend PLLA and PDLA at overall compositions to form PLA stereocomplexes (SC). The presence of the SC crystalline phase in the PLLA matrix was verified by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). As a result, a various PDLA composition of the PLA SC blends can influence PLA SC formation. And the largest amount of PLA SC crystallites was formed when PLLA/PDLA ratio is 50/50. In addition, we have tried to do PLA SC toughening with two impact modifiers in 92/8, 85/15 ratio of PLLA/PDLA to enhance the mechanical properties such as impact strength. Thermal and mechanical properties of PLA SC were investigated by DSC, HDT, Izod impact tester and UTM. PLA SC formation decreased when 10-20 wt% of Strong120 (impact modifier) was added. On the other hand, there is no effect on PLA SC formation when 10-20% of Elvaloy (impact modifier) was added. HDT values dramatically increased over
with the addition of PDLA. However, HDT decreased as Strong120 and Elvaloy content increased. Finally, we could find well balanced composition of toughened PLA SC with 10wt% of impact modifier in flexural modulus and impact strength.
Production of Fluorosilicic Acid from Phosphoric Acid Slurry of a Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant

Phosphoric acid used for the production of phosphate fertilizers is synthesized by the reaction of phosphate rock and sulfuric acid. As the reaction is exothermic, yield of phosphoric acid is poor at elevated temperature. Therefore, enhancement in its yield requires the process temperature be maintained by releasing the vapor (
) containing HF and SiF4 through a vacuum cooler. However, these valuable resources; Fand Si, which can be utilized for the manufacture of refrigerant and polysilicon, respectively, are being wasted in the treatment process. We performed lab-scale experiments to estimate the amount of recoverable H2SiF6, a by-product of phosphoric acid manufacturing process. The experimental results showed a decrease of fluorine concentration by 0.12wt% in the liquid phase. Preliminary estimation showed a possible recovery of 5,509 ton/yr of fluorine considering the scale of the fertilizer manufacturing plant. Furthermore, field-scale experiment showed that H2SiF6 could be enriched in liquid phase from 0.35wt% to 7.33wt% and the vapor flow-rate from vacuum cooler was estimated at
. Anew, the efficiency of fluorine recovery in the pilot-scale experiment was found to be 76.74% and the production of H2SiF6 was estimated at 5,340 ton/yr.
A Study on Antioxidant Activity of Ethanol Extract from Rumex crispus and Metal Adsorptivity of it's Root

Antioxidant activities such as reducing power, electron donating ability(EDA) and oxidation stability of Rumex crispus extracts with ethanol were examined, and adsorption of Pb(II) and Cd(II) with dried Rumex crispus powder in aqueous solution was experimented. Extraction yields based on the soluble solid contents ranged 1.9% to 3.0%, and were inversely proportional to solvent ratio but proportional to extraction temperature. Reducing power and EDA were also increased with extraction temperature but decreased with solvent ratio. Oxidation stability of Rumex crispus extracts on the corn seed oil was 86~91.3% of butylated hydroxytoluene. Pb(II) adsorptivity of Rumex crispus was higher than Cd(II), and adsorption rate of Pb(II) was 88% in 20 ppm concentration and 60min.
A Study on the Removal of Pollutants from Wastewater by Aquatic Macrophytes

Macrophyte plays an important role in purification of wastewater. They have capacity to improve the water quality by absorbing nutrients, with their effective root system. In this study, removal of nutrient as well as organic matter was observed by some important macrophytes i.e. Pistia stratoites, Hydrocharis dubia and Salvinia sp. indepe ndently as well as in mixed culture under the laboratory condition. The highest total nitrogen removal was observed for Pistia stratoites (86.47%) in monoculture and Salvinia sp. + P. stratoites (76.11%) in mixed culture system. Corresponding figures for total phosphorous were observed for P. stratoites (75.60%) in monoculture and Salvinia sp. + P. stratoites (71.11%) in mixed culture system. Similar result was observed for ammonia removal in both systems. Additionally, P. stratoites showed the highest removal of organic matter, in monoculture system (68.46%) where as Salvinia sp. + P. stratoites showed the highest removal of organic matter in mixed culture system (82.73 %).
A study on preparation of activated carbon from waste tire
