Study on Numerical Analysis for Structural Safety Verification of Overflow Preventer System for LNG Tank

This paper proposed the design technology for the level meter of the overflow preventer system of LNG storage tank. The parts of LNG ship should be developed under considering the cryogenic environment. Therefore, we proposed the structure of level meter to prevent overflow of LNG tank using the numerical analysis method. The proposed level meter for the overflow preventer is manufactured and the performance is verified through international authorized inspection agency.

A plastic has a various advantages in engineering elements that it can be formed a curve surface without restriction of shape and product the high volume with various color and lower price. Also, it is being used for many parts of automobile as the weight of cars is getting lighter. The Door A-Fuel Filler is a automobile plastic part by injection molding production. The injected products are involved a lot of factors for the inferior goods after painting. Therefore the painted products are required to have the process of the polishing in order to eliminate the faults. Now polishing process is being worked by hands. The workers tend to evade the process of polishing because the working needs a lot of powers momentarily. This paper presents the development of auto-polishing system that can check the inferior goods by the vision system and control the polishing process by the motion system. As a result, Shorten production time (30 seconds), and decreases by 1 person to work to increase the competitiveness of the production cost was to expect improvement.
Stability Analysis of a Haptic System with a Human Impedance model using the Routh-Hurwitz Criterion

This paper presents the stability analysis of the haptic system including a human impedance using the Routh-Hurwitz criterion. The reflective force is computed from a virtual spring model and is transferred to a human operator using the first-order-hold method. The stability boundary conditions are induced and the relation among a virtual spring (

Analysis of the Edge Sealing Strength for Vacuum Glass Panel Using Design of Experiment

The vacuum-glazing panel is a panel that keeps two glasses completely sealed in a vacuum condition. It is the high function insulation material of having the wall level minimizing the heat loss by the conduction and convection heat transmission coefficient. The edge sealing is a very important process of vacuum glass on the strength, thickness and air tightness. In this study, by using the hydrogen mixture gas torch, two sheets of glass was sealing in the furnace. The thickness and strength of the glass according to the process parameters is measurement and analysis, and predicting the edge sealing strength of glass by using taguchi method of experiment. We verified the validity of the experiment by checking the error rate through additional experiment.
Study on distributing Pressure and Velocity on Exhaust Variable Valve Face of Back Pressure

Environmental emission of recent automobile is drastically enhanced that it is one of the obvious assignments of exhaust system. This study is a purpose to establish of influence distribution on maxima and minima through the location of pressure on exhaust variable valve. The experiment are checked with real angles using camera which exhaust variable valve is opened side of point. Data has extracted to opening angles with internal flow, pressure. Exhaust variable valve through the floating analysis was analyzed the characteristic of location point about pressure and velocity. The pressures indicated the reduced results internal pressure within muffler. The velocity indicated an opposite results and vibration state of valve was verified to be operated as high speed from lower section. The conclusion to obtain from this study was found out the result to make the optimum back pressure condition as more increasing pressure distribution on valve face if the velocity location attracted by bottom point in order to improve for engine performance.

Viscoelastic Finite Element Analysis of Filling Process on the Moth-Eye Pattern

Nanoimprint lithography (NIL) fabrication process is regarded as the main alternative to existing expensive photo-lithography in areas such as micro- and nano-electronics including optical components and sensors, as well as the solar cell and display device industries. Functional patterns, including anti-reflective moth-eye pattern, photonic crystal pattern, fabricated by NIL can improve the overall efficiency of such devices. To successfully imprint a nano-sized pattern, the process conditions such as temperature, pressure, and time should be appropriately selected. In this paper, a cavity-filling process of the moth-eye pattern during the thermal-NIL within the temperature range, where the polymer resist shows the viscoelastic behaviors with consideration of stress relaxation effect of the polymer, were investigated with three-dimensional finite element analysis. The effects of initial thickness of polymer resist and imprinting pressure on cavity-filling process has been discussed. From the analysis results it was found that the cavity filling can be completed within 100 s, under the pressure of more than 4 MPa.

Existing measurement methods using microscopes or surface roughness measurement instruments for surface control in manufacturing die are low in their efficiency when they are applied in industrial fields due to structural problems. Therefore, it is very important to develop a measurement and analysis system which can enhance efficiency in the measurement of different-sized manufacturing dies and provide quality control regardless of location. The object of this study is to develop an cooling control algorithm for electronics devices of the electric vehicle. In order to estimate the existing cooling control logic of the electronic devices for the small and medium sized electric vehicle, the experiments on the coolant temperature variation of the cooling system were conducted under 4 different seasons conditions. As a result, the existing cooling control logic were overcooled when it was compared with the reference temperature for a required cooling load. In addition, the newly developed optimum cooling control logic for improving the mileages of the tested electric vehicle with consideration of the ambient temperature, vehicle speed, and refrigerant temperature of the air conditioning on/off is necessary.

Liquid silicone rubber(LSR) has been applied to various products such as electronic devices owing to its excellent thermal and chemical resistance. Hyperelastic materials, however, have properties distinguished from general metal materials. Hyperelastic materials show elastic behaviors in the range of large deformation in which load has the nonlinear relation with deformation. In addition, they have characteristics of nonlinearity, incompressibility, in large scale. On account of such characteristics, there are many difficulties in design and production using these materials. In this study, the load-deformation relation obtained from tension and compression tests was applied to finite element analysis in order to design waterproof connectors for automobiles. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the finite element analysis was confirmed by comparing the results of analysis with those of performance tests.

Torque converter is a complex turbomachine used to transfer power smoothly from an engine to a transmission by lock-up clutch. A torque converter consists of the hydrodynamic clutch device and the lock-up clutch device. The retaining plate and driven plate are part of the lock-up clutch. The lock-up clutch connects directly to achieve the improvement of efficiency and fuel consumption. In this paper, using structure analysis of stress distribution on the shape of the mechanical stopper on retaining plate. The shape of mechanical stopper has effect on the stress distribution of lock-up clutch.
Experimental Cutting Performance Evaluation of LGP using Vibration Assisted High Speed Shaping

PMMA (Polymethyle-methacrylate) optical components have recently been increasingly used as one of the important part of the high precision equipments. This research presents comparatively the surface preparation of light incident plane, LIP (Light Incident Plane) of LGP (Light Guide Panel) by end milling, high speed shaping, and vibration assisted high speed shaping. From several experiments, the results show that the surface quality was improved in high speed shaping and the vibration assisted HSS show not only decreasing waviness and breakage also raising the straightness property. For applying high speed shaping and vibration assisted HSS, an additional tool post was developed and experimentally used.

Recently, the micro bonding technology comes into the spotlight as the miniaturization of the electronic product. The micro bonding technique can classify by way of laser welding and ultrasonic bonding and etc. However, the research on the micro bonding is much lacks. In this paper, carried out the cooling analysis of the 60 [kHz] ultrasonic bonding equipment to know heat effect of the piezoelectric element when the ultrasonic bonding equipment was operated. The ultrasonic horn having the natural frequency with 60 [kHz] for the dissimilar material bonding of the glass and solder tried to be designed. The parameters and response was set through the basic experiment. The dissimilar material bonding strength analysis using the 60 [kHz] ultrasonic bonding equipment was done. We carried out the bonding for improving bonding strength to using the silver paste. air thightness of bonding surface was confirmed by analysis of bonding interfaces.
Developing the Business Strategic Planning Model for Cultural Contents Industry

The purpose of this study was to understand various cultural contents industry and current status for the managerial activities of governmental agencies and business corporations. Moreover, it was to develop model that guides to establish management strategy for future sustained growth. In this study, convenient matrix model was developed. As a result of FGI of experts who works in cultual contents industry, two axes of `Industry attractiveness` and `Technology strength` were deduced as main measurement factors and twenty-nine detail factors were deduced. After that those detail factors were deduced through two-time survey aimed cultural contents industry experts. To find out importance of each factor, AHP method was used. This study suggests the model that measure present level of cultural contents industry. Furthermore, we figured out feature each faces of matrix to suggest business strategy guide for future sustained growth. Then we defined the faces of matrix and suggested activities what had to do to governmental agencies and business corporations. We figure out feature of cultural contents industry through this study and contribute management activities of related organization by suggesting business strategic planning model which is not existed until now for cultural contents industry.
A Study on the Improvement of Service Quality in Medical Tourism by Combining Service Blueprint and AHP

This study explores the way to improve service quality with the application of Service Blueprint and Analytic Hierarchy Process (hereafter, "AHP") in medical tourism. Service Blueprint has been widely accepted to identify the possible fail points in service delivery system, and AHP analysis has been recognized as beneficial method to rate relative importance in multi-criteria decision making process. We try to understand possible pitfalls to enhance Chinese medical tourists, and propose the priority in the resolution process. In the first step, we reviewed the extant literatures about medical tourism of South Korea, and built initial Service Blueprint. Experts who experienced service delivery process towards Chinese patients participated to review the proposed Service Blueprint in the second step. Thirdly, after extracting the possible fail points from revised Service Blueprint, we asked experts to guess the relative importance of Chinese patient by AHP methodology. Four domains (Arrival and Welcoming, Hospitalization, Process before, operations, and after surgery, Recovery and discharge) were emerged with detail criteria. Results show that operations and treatment is the most important domain not to lose Chinese patient`s loyalty with following hospitalization process domain. Also, we suggest the priority among sixteen criteria to prevent service failure.
The Effect of the Thinking Styles and Character Development Efficacy of Childhood Educational Teachers on Their Commitment to Teaching

This study is to examine the effect of the thinking styles and character development efficacy of childhood educational teachers on their commitment to teaching with the intention of clarifying that these two factors of childhood educational teachers are important internal variables in enhancing their dedication to teaching, and to seek ways of finding thinking styles and character development efficacy appropriate for childhood educational teachers. Childhood educational teachers at nursing schools and kindergartens located in Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk were chosen as the study objects. The results are as follows: First, it turned out that childhood educational teachers`s commitment to teaching was in close relation to their judicial, monarchy, totalitarian, internal, and liberal thinking styles. As for childhood educational teachers` character development efficacy, personal efficacy and dedication to teaching showed a high level of correlation. This indicates that as childhood educational teachers preferred certain thinking styles, their commitment to teaching also could be enhanced, and that as childhood educational teachers` personal efficacy was high, their commitment to teaching was enhanced as well. Second, as for the positive effect of childhood educational teachers` thinking styles and character development efficacy on their commitment to teaching, it turned out that such factors as judicial and internal thinking styles, common teacher efficacy, and personal teacher efficacy affected professional recognition, such factors as judicial, internal, conservative, liberal thinking styles and personal teacher efficacy influenced their affection for teaching, and such factors as legislative, monarchy, anarchic, and liberal thinking styles and personal teacher efficacy affected zeal.
A study on the Brain function specialty based on the Maladaptive Soldier by Brain waves analysis

This study focuses on observing the brain function characteristics of maladaptive soldiers, through EEG analysis. The number of subjects was 1,119 including 59 maladaptive soldiers, 60 normal soldiers and 1,000 civil youths. The EEG measurements were performed from Sep. 2013 to Jan. 2014. As a result of the study, first, the soldier group`s BRQ, ATQ, EQ, ASQ and BQ values were significantly higher than civil youth`s, on the contrary to SRQ, ACQ, CQ which were higher in civil youth group. Second, compared to normal soldiers, the values of EQ and BQ were meaningfully low in maladaptive soldiers group, as well as the average values of each 8 quotient. In conclusion, military service can be assumed to have a positive effect on brain function of all soldiers due to regular life cycle, usual physical activities and balanced nutrition, but less effect on maladaptive soldiers who are exempted from those strict life.
Analysis on value research trend and building the resource and competence based research framework for value creation

A value creation is understood as important business strategy these days in both academics and industry. But this phenomenon is not fully understood based on systematized framework. In this paper, we summarized value research trend based on exploratory research and inductive reasoning by exploring both international and domestic journals. And we built a research framework that can analyze value creation between supplier and customer. Value research prior to 2004 is primarily divided into values of goods or services and relationship values. After 2004, service-dominant (SD) logic has been outlined. There are other research trends to see the relationship value in terms of relationship benefits and relationship in the network or supply chain. 4 critical resource types (financial resource, knowledge resource, efficiency resource, and intellectual resource) and 5 competence types (relational capability, collaboration capability, innovation capability, managing capability) are constructed as principal factors for value creation from inductive reasoning based upon a resource-based view (RBV) and a competence-based view (CBV). The research framework was built based on 4 resources and 4 competences.

This paper examines whether debt ratio effects earnings management. There are various methods that estimate earnings management. This paper examines whether these methods impact on the relationship between earnings management and debt ratio. In addition, this study examines whether these relationship effects of debt type. Previous studies in this area haven`t examined the relationship between debt ratio and earnings management in Korea. These studies didn`t consider earnings management`s method to analysis for this relationship. This paper tests the relationship between earnings management and debt ratio with methods of earnings management unlike from previous studies. Results are summaried as following. First, the relationship between debt ratio and earnings management was different for these methods. Abnormal Accruals that used estimation of eanrnings management in previous studies didn`t examine these results that debt ratio effects of earnings management. However, it was significant positive the relationship between real activity management and debt ratio.
The Study of Physical Trauma on Adolescent during exercise: Focused on Judo

This study intends to investigate physical trauma in the adolescent during exercise of teenage elite judo players in Seoul. The subjects were male 67, female 14, totally 81 in middle and high school student and the data collected june the first to 28th, 2013. A data were analyzed frequency analysis, chi-square test and t-test using SPSS 16.0 program. The questionaire was contained 6 categories, experience, region, types, time, causes, intervention and preventionof sports injury. The highest results of each categories of this study is that experience of injury is 77(95.1%), region is knee 35(70.0%), type is contusion 42(54.5%), time is summer 54(70.1%), cause is body crash 40(51.9%), and intervention is going hospital 46(59.7%). To prevent physical trauma, we should recognize physical trauma durind exercise as a health problem. And to prevent physical trauma, relatives should make prevention prorgram for adolescent sports players. It will improve their quality of life.
A Comparative Study on the Information Use Patterns of Science & Technology Researchers

The purpose of this study is to suggest some improvements of information service on the Internet through a comparative analysis of information use patterns of science and technology researchers in universities, research institutes and business enterprises. We classify information use patterns into information use purpose, information use types, a frequently used/referenced portal site, the initial method of internet search, information service selection factors and the channels of off-line information acquisition. The results of this study are as follows: First, according to frequency analysis, there are some information use patterns among S & T research groups. Second, according to
analysis, there are some significant differences in ratio of information use patterns among them.
The Relationship of Ego Resilience and involvement with the Experience of Anxiety and Perceived Stress in Nursing students

This study was conducted to identify the relationship between ego-resilience, anxiety and perceived stress. The participants were 500 students of nursing college located in K city, Korea. Data were collected from September,
2013, and were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients. The result were as follows; 1) The mean scores were ego-resilience 3.36(0.50), anxiety 2.26(0.70) and stress 2.55(0.55). 2) Ego-resilience was significantly different according to gender, age, satisfaction for major, subjective career opportunity, subjective health. The score were higher at the male group than the female group, and the group who aged over 24 were higher than the group aged below 23. 3) Significant correlations were found between ego-resilience, anxiety and stress. It is a research study to look at the satisfaction of disabled persons are using a specific transportation system, and displays to see what effect the quality of life and the acceptance of disability. The survey of disabled persons in a moving vehicle assistance support Jeju vulnerable road users, using the final 81. Analysis, STS reason to use that vehicle wheelchair lift is the most common response, STS safety-related satisfaction was highest in the wheelchair. However, satisfaction of convenience associated with the use of the procedure was the lowest. The more stable satisfaction of STS is high, a positive impact on the quality of life(satisfaction and the food, clothing and housing)was confirmed. Therefore, in order to increase the satisfaction of STS and to improve the quality of life, it is necessary to improve the utilization procedures and safe operations and additional support of the wheelchair lift car to ensure rights of mobility.

The purpose of the this study is to analyze what business value orientations are more effective on the enhancement of productivity and performance indexes of IT companies. Especially we are interest in the moderate effect of business types such as IT manufacturing, IT services, and non-IT manufacturing companies. The empirical test results was somehow different from the theoretical researches. Customer orientation affects productivity directly and performance indexes indirectly. Whereas, technology innovation orientation didn`t affects productivity and performance indexes directly, except IT services companies. Corporate social responsibility affects performance indexes directly, but not productivity. We could conclude that the type of business is an important moderator between business value orientations and enterprise performance factors.

The purpose of this study was to discuss the factors according to SBCD conceptual change by literature analysis and FGI(focus group interview). It`s to identify the problem of SBCD centered around world-wide and research trends. Also this study briefly surveys the current factors considered in SBCD. The results were as follows First, SBCD is able to be classified according to national curriculum level`s acceptance degree. Second, each nation and school had a different understanding to the SBCD. Third, this study developed three domains(human, content, and environment) and nine factors(principals, teachers, students, parents, community people, regular curriculum, after school curriculum, other special programs, and school environment) based on literature analysis and FGI to develop SBCD. As observed by the above results, it will provide schools with the groundwork for discussion of increasing chances for successful curriculum development with continuous extending of SBCD.
Balanced Growth among Regional Economies : Its Implications and Polices

This paper aims to understand the meaning of balanced development among regional economies and its importance in the s0-called knowledge-based economy. It is shown that the balanced allocation of human capital is necessary to achieve the efficient allocation of physical capital among regional economies, which makes the equality of marginal product of capital. And a simulation experiment is conducted to calculate the cost of unbalanced growth. It is shown that balanced growth among regional economies may increase the growth rate of whole national economy while unbalanced growth among them reduce it. The policy implication is that for an any economy to grow at a higher rate, the efficient allocation of physical and human capital both are necessary to have the balanced growth of regional economies in knowledge-based economy.
The Effect that the Transformational Leadership of a Director of the Early Childhood`s Educational Institute Influences on the Management of Institute

This research is objective that we investigate the effects of transformational leadership type of the head of pre-school institution on its operation and management. In order to test, we selected the subject of 200 teachers at 50 preschools in Seoul city randomly and we measured leadership type of the head and the level of its operation and management to 174 pre-school teachers. Based on the collected questionnaire, simple correlation and multiple regression analyses were conducted to produce the following results: First, analyzed result, participants were higher recognition that the relationship between the institution head`s transformational leadership and its operation and management, and between the two variable were significant static positive correlation. Second, we analyzed the difference between type of transformational leadership to the institution head`s perceived by its teachers individuals variables. As a results, we found that the academic ability(a college to university graduation) was significant the ethical leadership and teachers gives a positive evaluation on the head`s transformational leadership regardless of the teacher`s background variables. Third, we analyzed the transformational leadership affect institution on its operation and management. its results, the transformational leadership was significant on its operation and management. In particular, it were affect according to the order, political leadership, educational leadership, cultural leadership. Our finding contribute that pre-school institution have to change consistently, and were asked higher quality by enhancing competition, politics and its operation and management. in order to it is important that there is transformational leadership of the head.
Effects of satisfaction with the programs of senior welfare centers on the depressive emotions and well-being of the elderly

The purpose of this study is to investigate how leisure programs are utilized by senior welfare centers, and analyze the relationship between the degree of satisfaction and the resulting effect on the depressive emotions and psychological well-being of program participants. To that end, a survey was made on 128 persons aged 65 or over who were participating in leisure programs at 2 senior centers located in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Ver. 21. The findings were as follows: First, the most satisfactory program was Sing-Along program, while the reason for using senior welfare centers was for meeting friends and the most favorite program was hobby classes; Second, significant differences were found in depressive emotions according to age and educational background and in psychological well-being according to educational background. Third, the degree of satisfaction in programs had a meaningful relationship with depressive emotion and well-being; Fourth, there was no mediating effect of psychological well-being between the degree of program satisfaction and depressive emotion.

The main purpose of this study is to explore the factors related to the performance of industry-university cooperation and determine methods for improving activation of industry-university cooperation. The data was collected by questionnaire survey mailed to the participating researcher and university professors which executed the university-industry cooperation projects. We determined cronbach Alpha Coefficient, pearson`s correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. According to multiple regression analysis, reflect of mutual needs and local industry construction have statistically significant relationships with general satisfaction of university. Knowledge and working ability of industry-university cooperation, activeness of industry-university cooperation activity, Local economy scale and local industry construction have statistically significant relationships with general satisfaction of industry. In relation continuity, activeness of industry-university cooperation activity and information exchange have statistically significant relationships with relation continuity of university. Knowledge and working ability of industry-university cooperation and activeness of industry-university cooperation activity have statistically significant relationships with relation continuity of industry. In outcome utilization, knowledge and working ability of industry-university cooperation, research establishment and apparatus have statistically significant relationships with outcome utlization of university. In conclusion, capability factors, cooperative factors, political factors and external environment factors affected industry-universiry cooperation. Knowledge and working ability of industry-university cooperation will be able to upgrade on general satisfaction, relation continuity and outcome utilization.
Study of new adsorption isotherm model and kinetics of dissolved organic carbon in synthetic wastewater by granular activated carbon

In this study, we conducted the adsorption equilibrium and batch experiments of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) in the wastewater by granular activated carbon (GAC). The components of organic compound were Beef extract (1.8 mg/L), Peptone (2.7 mg/L), Humic acid (4.2 mg/L), Tannic acid (4.2 mg/L), Sodium lignin sulfonate (2.4 mg/L), Sodium lauryle sulfate (0.94 mg/L), Arabic gum powder (4.7 mg/L), Arabic acid (polysaccharide) (5.0 mg/L),
(0.71 mg/L), The adsorption characteristics of DOC in synthetic wastewater was described using the mathematical model through a series of isotherm and batch experiments. It showed that there was linear adsorption region in the low DOC concentration (0~2.5 mg/L) and favorable adsorption region in high concentration (2.5~6 mg/L). The synthetic wastewater used was prepared using known quantities of organic and/or inorganic compounds. Adsorption modelling isotherms were predicted by the Freundlich, Langmuir, Sips and hybrid isotherm equations. Especially, hybrid isotherm of Linear and Sips equation was a good adsorption equilibrium in the region of the both the low concentration and high concentration. In applying carbon adsorption for treating water and wastewater, hybrid adsorption equation plus linear equation with Sips equation will be a good new adsorption equilibrium model. Linear driving force approximation (LDFA) kinetic equation with Hybrid (linear+Sips) adsorption isotherm model was successfully applied to predict the adsorption kinetics data in various GAC adsorbent amounts.

A Study on the Customer Satisfaction and Re-Purchase Intention on Characteristics of Social Shopping

This paper redefines the concept of social shopping as the part of social commerce and identifies the significant factors to the customer satisfaction and repurchase intention for the social shopping using the factor analysis based on the selected elements from the previous research results. Structural equation modeling(SEM) result shows that 3 significant factors to the customer satisfaction are price, convenience of web site use and fun. But Security, reliability, diversity did not affect significantly satisfactorily. From the resulting factors to the customer satisfaction, users of social shopping seems to be satisfied with site entertainment like looking around and comparison shopping. The main purpose of visiting social shopping sites is considered as not only purchase of goods or services but also entertainment in the community and cyberspace. The results of this study, it provides an indication of the aspects of marketing that can be used in social shopping practice.
Impacts of Relationship Benefits on Relationship Learning and Cooperation of Buyer-Seller in Food Material Industries

Relationship learning is very important to grow and develop interorganization. Greatly to ours regret, relationship learning study have left unexplored with regard to interfirm`s relationship. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of relationship benefits on relationship learning and cooperation of buyer-seller in food material industries. We collected statistically usable data from 228 questionnaire respondents who deal with food firms and analyzed them with SPSS 20.0 and Amos to achieve research`s goals. Analysis results revealed that, first, relational benefits of economical benefits and psychological benefit had impacts on relationship learning between buyer and seller in food material channel market. Second, the survey found that relationship learning has impact on collaboration. Third, on the other hand, relationship benefits of social benefits had no effect relationship learning. Summary and strategy implication will be mention in conclusion.
Social Capital for Korean Immigrant Children`s Education in the U.S.

Social capital is an important resource for Korean immigrant children`s successful school life in the U.S. because most immigrants are not familiar to new language and culture. However, immigrant parents and their children have limited ability to join and create social networks freely both inside and outside school. We, the researchers of this study, adopted qualitative research method: open-ended in-depth interview, coding and analysis based on grounded theory. The result of this study reveals that Korean immigrant parents utilize their coethnic networks in getting educational information and English plays important role in educational decision-making process of the parents.

It identifies the contribution of regional strategic industries in the regional economic growth even though there is somewhat difference between the sub-sectors of the industries. It also finds out some problems with the selection and implementation processes. In order to improve the regional industrial policy, it need to apply portfolio type of regional industrial development strategy on according to the typology of the industrial growth stages.
Moderating role of the vendor suitability factor for ERP introduction factors and internal performance

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the vendor suitability factor affects ERP introduction factors of domestic small and middle businesses and internal performance. When domestic firms introduce an ERP package, they mostly use the package already developed by ERP firms. Therefore, this study tried to analyze that the suitability factor of an ERP package supplier serves as a moderating role for ERP internal performance. The study result showed that the vendor suitability factor played a moderating role for ERP introduction factors and internal performance. In other words, the vendor suitability factor served a moderating role for four factors -CEO support, education/training, users` IT capability, and business standardization /formulation- and internal performance. But, it was analyzed that the vendor suitability factor didn`t serve as a moderating role for IT infrastructure and internal performance.
An Empirical Study on Continuous Usage Intention towards Mobile Social Network Game

This paper explores the framework in which MSNG(Mobile social network game) service providers` strategies to enhance users` intention of continuous usage. Users` perceived values have been considered as the key factors to solicit MSNG user`s intention. Moreover, we suggest flow(user`s psychological immersion to MSNG) as a mediator variable to inflame users` intention. Results based on 431 respondents shows that MSNG service providers` strategies(i.e., functional, emotional, and social values) directly influence users` intention to use, while those independent variables also show positive relationships towards dependent variables. So we can identify that the efforts to elaborate the users` perceived values are meaningful strategies of MSNG service providers. Also, user`s psychological change(i.e. "flow" in this study) is the essential to mediate between MSNG service provider`s strategies and building users` intention to use for that MSNG.
The effect of individual perception of team climate for coopetition on the knowledge sharing and the moderating effects of procedural justice and personal initiative

Most of the researches on coopetition are focused on the effect of coopetion on firm performance in the firm level. However, few studies attempted to find out the effect of coopetition in team and individual level. In this paper, we examined the effect of individual perception of team climate for coopetition on the knowledge sharing and the moderating effects of procedural justice and personal initiative between the two variables. Empirical results using R&D researchers in research institutes of large-firms showed that individual perception of team climate for coopetition is positively related to knowledge sharing. In addition, we also found that procedural justice has positively strengthened the effect of coopetition on knowledge sharing. Finally, we addressed implications, limitations and future research directions.

The purpose of this study is to discuss plan for the development of accreditation system for instructional materials and equipment in kindergarten. Instructional materials in early childhood education are enough importance and effectiveness is high. In addition, the commercialization of materials, a number of common trends in the development of instructional materials, and these materials and ensure a qualitative judgment of the teaching and learning are required. So that can be used easily in the field to develop the instructional materials of excellent quality, maintenance, and management of a professional certification system is a demand. In this paper, the current situation in the instructional materials authentication system to examine the books have such a system, to identify the problems, to suggest preferred direction for teaching and leaning materials certification system.
Analysis of ground reaction force contributing to horizontal velocity factors in short distance 100M race

This study was to analyze ground reaction force according to Crouching Start type at the starting point of 100M race. The subjects of this study were 8 women sprinters and we analyzed their ground reaction force by classifying the distance between start blocks as three types. The followings are the results of the study. According to maximum horizontal ground reaction force analysis result, in the left foot placed in front, BS among excellent group and MS in non-excellent group showed the biggest reaction force value. In the right foot placed at the back, MS in both groups showed the biggest reaction force value. MS in the right foot of the excellent group was the biggest (0.83 BW). According to maximum vertical ground reaction force analysis result, in the left foot placed in front, ES among excellent group and BS in non-excellent group showed the biggest reaction force value. In the right foot placed at the back, BS among excellent group and MS in non-excellent group showed the biggest reaction force value.
The Effects of the Urinary Incontinence and Quality of Sleep on Fall Efficacy of the Community Dwelling Elderly

This study was to find out urinary incontinence, quality of sleep and efficacy of fall in the community dwelling elderly and to investigate how the factors were connected to one another. Data were collected between January 3rd and 30th, 2013 from 112 elderly people who aged 65 or older. They agreed to participate in this study sampled among elders assistants in a way of responding to the questionnaire after being read. The study scales were composed of demographic characteristics, urinary incontinence, quality of sleep and efficacy of fall. A total of 45(40.2%) subjects were reported fall experienced. The results showed a positive correlation with urinary incontinence, quality of sleep and efficacy of fall. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that predictor of efficacy of fall was quality of sleep. A combination of the urinary incontinence and quality of sleep accounted for 9.6% of the efficacy of fall.
State of Orthodontic Treatment and Facial Plastic Surgery among Adult Patients

This study was designed to investigate the status of orthodontic treatment and facial plastic surgery among 389 patients who visited dental clinics located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. After the collection of data, an analysis was carried out using a spss statistical program. The analysis results are as follows. the level of satisfaction with orthodontic treatment from patients with experience of the orthodontic treatment turned out to be high(p<0.01). Women considered 3.01 to 4 million won to be reasonable cost for orthodontic treatment (p<0.05), which is higher cost recognized by men, and patients with experience of orthodontic treatment recognized 19 to 24 months as the proper orthodontic treatment period(p<0.01). In addition, women showed higher figures than men in their awareness on the need for orthodontic treatment checkups(p<0.001), and facial plastic surgery experience (p<0.01). With respect to the part of the face on which they hoped to have plastic surgery, eye plastic surgery was higher in women (p<0.01), and nose surgery turned out to be higher in patients with experience of orthodontic treatment(p<0.05). Meanwhile, women considered the eye as the most important part among other facial areas (p<0.001), and they recognized that dentist should perform plastic surgery on both jaws among facial areas(p<0.01). In conclusion, the dental medical staff should provide consultations and operate treatment systems in consideration of gender differences and needs of dental patients. In the case of orthodontic treatment for the improvement of facial appearance, especially double jaw surgery which is closely related to the oral function, professional dental medical staff needs to perform the operation, considering the special oral environment. In addition, it is determined that provision of relevant medical information and promotion of dental service is required to provide patients with correct knowledge about orthodontic treatment and facial plastic surgery.

Features of EEG Signal during Attentional Status by Independent Component Analysis in Frequency-Domain

In this paper, electroencephalographic (EEG) signal of one among subjects measured biosignal with visual evoked stimuli inducing the concentration was analyzed to detect the changes in the attention status during attention task fulfillment from January to February, 2011. The independent component analysis (ICA) was applied to EEG signals to isolate the attention related innate source signal within the brain and Electroculogram (EOG) artifact from measured EEG signals at the scalp. The consecutive accumulation of short time Fourier transformed (STFT) attention source signal with excluded EOG artifact can enhance the regular depiction of EPOCH graph and spectral color map representing time-varying pattern. The extracted attention indices associated with somatosensory rhythm (SMR: 12-15 Hz), and theta wave (4-7 Hz) increase marginally over time. Throughout experimental observation, the ICA with STFT can be used for the assessment of participants` status of attention.
Influence of Marital Intimacy, Family Support, and Fatigue on the Stress of Pregnant Woman

During pregnancy, the woman experiences physical and psycho-social changes. Such changes and other factors may become stress for the pregnant woman, making it difficult to maintain healthy and happy pregnant period. In this study, we identify factors for the stress, marital intimacy, family support, and fatigue, in order to provide the foundation for developing intervention programs and improve the quality of nursing. The subjects of there search were 185 pregnant women. Stress had a negative correlation with marital intimacy and family support, and positive correlation with fatigue. Family support, fatigue, adjustment to change due to pregnant, and breastfeeding experience were the influencing factors on the stress of pregnant women. A stress management program for pregnant women needs to be designed to help them with their physical and psychological adjustments. The program will be more effective when accompanied by the family support.
The protective effect of hypoxic therapy on paraquat-induced toxicity rat model

Paraquat (PQ) is a very effective and widely used herbicide that was commercially introduced in 1962. In this study, instead of using antioxidants like in the past, to inhibit the formation of PQ-induced ROS, we attempted to reduce the oxygen concentration by using non-lethal hypoxia therapy. Therefore, we studied the toxicity of PQ in vivo, analyzed the major effects of ROS on the targeted lung tissue and compared the results with the gross histological changes after the cell protective effect of non-lethal hypoxia therapy. In vivo studies demonstrated that low-concentration oxygen therapy (i.e., 10-12% oxygen) in rats administered with PQ was associated with a higher survival rate than in rats that received only PQ. In vivo non-lethal hypoxia treatment showed better survival and less lung tissue damage. Using a hypoxic/anaerobic incubator with integrated multifaceted molecular analysis, including MDA assay, glutathione assay, and SOD assay, we established an optimal, significantly reduced in vivo non-lethal hypoxia treatment by exploiting the PQ-induced cytotoxicity responses.

This research, used an contrast agent, which weighs about 1mmol/mL, of twice as much amount of gadolinum, per unit, for the test of magnetic-resonance shoulder arthrography. the reasearch which was carried out from January, of the year 2012 to August of the year 2013. consisted, of target of 41, patients including 20 ones, of whom an original, contrast agent of amount of 0.5mmol/mL, 21, ones of whom, a new, of amount of 1mmol/mL was used on, were the test target, in order to figure out the differences, according to the amount of gadolinum, according to the test results, the SNR of the contrast agent, of amount of 1mmol/mL, which is of high amount of gadolinum, was noticeably higher than the one of amount of 0.5mmol/mL(the percentage of joint space 38.01%, the supraspinous muscle 8.40%, head of humerus 12.78%). and CNR of the contrast agent, of amount of 1mmol/mL, which is of high amount of gadolinum, was higher than the one of amount of 0.5mmol/mL(the percentage of joint space and supraspinous muscle 48.96%, the one of joint space and head of humerus 42.00%). In conclusion, one of the methods of increasing the reducing effect of T1, is to use contrast agent of amount of 1mmol/mL, in order to increase the reducing effect of T1, acquire the visual of high testing quality.

This paper deals with system development which measures 12 channel ECG using medical analog front end(AFE) and discriminates arrythmia through signal analysis. Recently, occurrences of cardiac arrest have been increased. So the need of system that diagnoses an arrythmia which results in cardiac arrest is increasing. There are some drawbacks of conventional 12 channel ECG system that it occupies bulk and consists of complicated circuit. To improve those, we made up the system composed of medical AFE, algorithm for discriminating arrythmia and DSP for signal processing. This system can be monitored 12 channel ECG waveforms and the discriminant analysis result of arrhythmia through 7" LCD and received the input through touch pannel. In this study, we conducted normal operation test about output signal of ECG simulator(normal/abnormal ECG signal) to verify the implemented system and performance evaluation of the optimization process for applying arrhythmia algorithm to an embedded environment.
Effects of Emotional Labor, Nursing Organizational Culture on Self-efficacy in Clinical Nurses

The objective of this study was to the effects of emotional labor and nursing organizational culture on the self-efficacy among clinical nurses. The subjects of this study were the clinical nurses working at 6 general hospitals in C & D city. The self-reported questionnaires were administered to 475 clinical nurses. The levels of self-efficacy, nursing organizational culture and emotional labor of the subjects were revealed moderate to high. Self-efficacy and emotional labor, emotional labor and nursing organizational culture showed a negative correlation, Self-efficacy and nursing organizational culture showed a positive correlation. Nursing organizational culture affects the self-efficacy that is significant explanatory variables, of which variables are in general education, job satisfaction, and employee turnover experience. The findings suggested that Nurses` self-efficacy for managing environmental management programs with interventions seem to be necessary.
The Influence of Ego-resilience, Positive affect, Negative affect on military life stress in ROK air force soldiers

This study is the descriptive research tried in order to identify how the air force soldier`s ego-resilience, positive affect, negative affect of air force soldiers on their military life stress. and a survey was conducted targeting 321 air force soldiers. The results of this study found that the subjects average scores in terms of ego-resilience, positive affect, negative affect, military life stress were 3.11, 3.16, 2.26 and 1.94 points, respectively. The factors of ego-resilience and positive affect showed significantly positive correlation, but the factors of negative affect and military life stress showed some negative correlation. The ego-resilience indirectly influence on the subjects` military life stress through the positive and the negative affect, not directly influenced on them. And the positive and the negative affects directly influenced on the subjects` military life stress. Therefore it needs to reduce soldiers` military life stress by developing a program to enhance soldiers` ego-resilience and to do more positive emotional experiences.
Factors Affecting Health Status and Health Behaviors of Immigrant Women in Urban and Rural Areas

This study aimed to compare smoking, drinking, dietary management, personal hygiene, and oral care between immigrant women in urban and rural areas and to determine predictors of the overall health behaviors. With the standardized questionnaire used for community health survey data collection was performed in 128 immigrant women from November 2011 to October 2012. Rural women performed significantly higher numbers of health behaviors than urban women and residential district, education, employment status, and perceived difficulties related to cultural adaptation significantly predicted health behaviors in immigrant women. Immigrant women in urban areas may be highly vulnerable in maintaining health behaviors compared with rural women and cultural barriers may hinder positive health behavior maintenance. Therefore, careful considerations at individual, community, and environmental levels are needed when assessing immigrant women`s health behaviors and designing culturally relevant interventions to improve health status.
The Effect of Health Promotion Behavior on Fatigue and Depression among Shift Nurses

This study was a descriptive study to identify the effect of health promoting behavior on fatigue and depression and to investigate these levels among nurses. Data were collected from September 19th 2012 to September 25th 2012 by questionnaires from 243 hospital nurses of 3 hospitals in Kyungsang-Bukdo. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson`s correlation coefficients, ANCOVA, and Stepwise multiple regression. The result showed that in health promoting behavior, shift nurses had higher scores than it of non-shift nurses. The health promotion behavior predictors of fatigue were spiritual growth and stress management and the predictors of depression were physical activity and interpersonal relationship. This results suggest that development of professional health promoting program which is strengthened these parts of spiritual growth, stress management, physical activity and interpersonal relationship, is needed.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of basic clinical practice program(BCPP) on academic motivation, critical thinking and clinical nursing competence in nursing students. Thirty-hour BCPP was consisted of the essential of fundamental nursing skills and prior education in nursing lab before first clinical practice. The participants were 228 nursing students and data was collected with self-administered questionnaire during Feb. 18 to Feb. 28, 2013. Study design was one group pre-post test. BCPP was not related with critical thinking. But there were significant differences subcategories of learning motivation like academic stress, test anxiety, depression and self efficacy, and in clinical nursing competence. The results suggest that BCPP is effective to enhance clinical competence for novice of nursing clinical practice.

Stoltz`s AQP is a tool to estimate the level of adversity. The purpose of study is to test the reliability and validity of AQP. The participants were 297 nurses of tertiary hospital in Korea. Data were collected from Aug. to Oct. 2013. Resilience Scale was used as criterion of AQP. Cronbach`s alpha test, item total correlation, exploratory factor, correlation analysis, and ANOVA test were used. The study aims primarily to evaluate the resistance of antibiotics and the prevalence of these enzymes among Escherichia coli the most frequent isolate of Enterobacteriaceae producing Extended-Spectrum
-Lactamase(ESBLs), to differentiate the types of enzymes in these isolates. Total 74(26.2%) Strains of producing ESBLs among the 282 E. coli isolates were isolated from hospitals of Chungcheong area (Daejeon, Chungnam, and Chungbuk) during a 6 month-period from February to July, 2013. 282 E. coli isolates including ESBL shown resistance rates of aztreonam 30.8%, Cefotaxim 30.9%, and Ceftazidime 32.2%, 74 isolates producing ESBLs in E. coli were resistant rates to Aztreonam 58.1%, Cefotaxim 100%, and Ceftazidime 63.5% of
-lactam antibiotics. CTX-M-2 (48 isolates) was the most prevalent type of ESBLs identified. Followed the order of frequency by PER-1 (28 isolates), VEB-1 (26 isolates) and CTX-M-8 (20 isolates), of the 74 isolates, 2 isolates only showed GES-1 in Chungnam province. Accurate identification type of ESBLs would aid in hospital infection control. This would give aid to the physician to prescribe more appropriate antibiotics.

This study of 50`s women using the Automatic Micro-needle Therapy System(AMTS) aging skin to evaluate the impact. In addition, AMTS is supplied to the EGF since the 50`s women increased moisture and elasticity, pigmentation and wrinkles around the eyes to get a positive effect on the reduction of viewing purposes. In this study, 35 people who are middle-aged women October 7, 2013 from December 15, 2013 made a total of 70 days. AMTS study only the use of increased moisture(<.01) and elasticity(<.001), pigmentation(<.01) and wrinkles(<.001) were decreased. In addition, when applying active ingredients EGF better results. Thus to facilitate the regeneration of the active component, such as EGF, if used together to further increase the positive effect considered.
A Comparison Study on Multicultural Attitude and Relating Factors of Nursing College Students and Non-Nursing Major Students in Korea

The study was to investigate the multicultural attitude of nursing students and non-nursing major students. And it was explored influencing factors related with it. This study was used a descriptive comparative designed. Data were collected 3 universities in D city in from Nov. to Dec. in 2012. After receiving the agreement, 309 nursing students and 195 non-nursing major students were recruited. They were asked to fill in a self-reported questionnaire about multicultural attitude. The Korean version Munroe Multicultural Attitude Scale Questionnaire (MASQUE) was used. Cronbach`s alpha were .85. Data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0. The mean score of multicultural attitude was 4.44 of 6 points(73%) in all participants. Nursing students` multicultural attitudes scores were equal to other college students`. Piezoelectric inverter for driving CCFL is designed in this study. Of them, CCFL is generally used because it has advantages such as small size, high efficiency and good brightness characteristics. the description of the piezoelectric effect is not present here and can be easily found in numerous publications as well as complex equations and formulae. What is the most important to understand is that "they are different" one cannot just change an electromagnetic transformer(EMT) for a piezoelectric one. The simulation program supports the modeled piezoelectric inverter for this paper and the equivalent circuit. The result of the experiment shows more than 90% improvement in terms of the efficiency.

The inspection of distance to go train control system conducted only when train is in main line or inspecting line, that affects low work efficiency and hazard elements to safe operation. Before or after train operation, the interface test between on-board and wayside signal system must be conducted. In this paper, onboard signal interface inspection system based on the real-time automatic analysis of onboard system status information that is transmitted to the wayside system and the operation status check of the onboard signal device operates as a virtual train information that is transmitted to the onboard system have been proposed. And after building the inspection system to the inspecting track of Daejeon Subway Line 1, Panam Depot, the verification algorithm of proposed interface test and the results was presented. therefore, it has enhanced work efficiency to do not carry train operation of a half hour in test line to test on-board system.

Main ground net of power plant is formed to protect human body from increase in potential gradient caused by grounding current during ground fault. Calculations during ground design are generally performed according to IEEE Std-80-2000 (Kepco Design Standard 2602). However, it is difficult to apply this Standard to water environment, and a grounding technology is required to secure grounding resistance of floating photovoltaic system. Therefore the aim of this paper is to investigate and analyze ground resistivity on the water surface and underwater of reservoir using Wenner 4-pin method, a general method of measuring ground resistivity. Also, grounding resistance of floating photovoltaic systems currently in operation was measured and analyzed using the voltage drop method suggested in the international standard (IEEE Std-81) to propose a grounding method for stable grounding of floating photovoltaic system. The resistivity at 1m below the surface of water (

Measurement of Screening Effect by Metal Pipe on Induced Voltage to Communication Cable from Electric Railway

Electric railway induces interference voltage on wayside communication cable which brings about communication errors, malfunction of devices, and safety problem. The magnitude of the induced voltage depends on the electromagnetic field coupling which is affected by metallic installations such as rail and track structures. This paper provides an experimental analysis of the screening effect of metallic pipe on the inductive voltage caused on communication cable. The measurements at a high-speed rail site show that the screening effect of metallic pipe is about 20% when the separation distance between the pipe and communication cable is 1~2 m. The screening effects is less than 1% and can be neglected when the separation distance is more than 4 m. These results are useful to evaluate the screening effects of the metallic installations such as water pipe, gas pipe, and reinforcing bar.
A Study on FPGA utilization For PC-based Full-HD DVR System Implementation

The DVR system supports multiple cameras and should be able to receive images at 30 frames per channel in real time. Thus, The system is using Full-HD-grade Multiplexer and Hardware compression codec. In this paper, Describing the design and implementation for the 4-channel Full-HD-grade PC-based DVR using FPGA and GPU inside CPU without Multiplexer and Hardware codec. The existing DVR system for Full-HD-grade has drawbacks to acquire images of about only 20 frames per channel in real time. The system to acquire images of multiple channel in real time was designed using FPGA. The software for the system was implemented using Intel Media SDK. At the result of performance evaluation, It was satisfied all for the required conditions. The practicality of the system was confirmed as implementation the system without using hardware compression.
Lifetime-based Clustering Communication Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have a big potential for distributed sensing for large geographical area. The improvement of the lifetime of WSNs is the important research topic because it is considered to be difficult to change batteries of sensor nodes. Clustering communication protocols are energy-efficient because each sensor node can send its packet to the cluster head near from itself rather than the sink far from itself. In this paper, we present an energy-efficient clustering communication protocol, which chooses cluster heads based on the expected residual lifetime of each sensor node. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme increases average lifetimes of sensor nodes as much as 20% to 30% in terms of the traffic quantity and as much as 30% to 40% in terms of the scalability compared to the existing clustering communication protocol, LEACH.

The necessity for co-prosperity between large and small businesses has emerged as a top policy priority as economic polarization has been exacerbated since the 2008 global financial crisis. Against this background this paper makes a detailed analysis of differences between SMEs (Small and Medium sized businesses) and large enterprises located in Gyeong-do, in respect of growth. The data set used in the analysis is the 15 year(1996-2010) panel data of IT companies (large enterprises: 80 data and SMEs: 437 data) collected from the KISVALUE database. The estimation results of Pooled OLS indicate that the coefficients representing corporate size are less than 1, which implies that the Gibrat`s law, no correlation between the size of a firm and its growth rate, is not supported by the data. In the meantime, the estimated coefficients representing corporate age are negative, which implies that Jovanovic hypothesis, inverse correlation between the age and the growth rate of a firm, is consistent with the data. In short, SMEs, which are generally younger than big enterprises can achieve higher growth rate than the latter ones which are usually believed to be older. In addition, the more export- and innovation-oriented the firm, the higher its growth rates.
Protocol Design for Wavelength Routing in Optical Ring Access Networks

In this paper, a new data frame structure for wavelength routing in optical ring access network(ORAN) is designed and the functions of each field in the frame are defined. In addition, the IP packet transmission to the network layer corresponding to the newly proposed structure of the protocol stack is newly presented. Tha data transmission protocol design techniques of ORAN was proposed. IP packet and broadcasting packet transmission within the sub-network, and the IP packet transmission to other sub-network was shown through the process illustration. In the process, the encapsulation and framing process of the wavelength information to routing has been described in detail. And each step takes place in a packet transfer process is demonstrated. A ring type optical access network protocol is not yet research field. ORAN data transfer protocol to send/receive module structure of a subscriber node and a control node of the two rings which analyzed the results are shown. The high-speed Internet solution is proposed that by using wavelength routing the packet transport protocol for ORAN is designed.

Because each resource in LTE-Advanced system and network`s shapes such as bandwidth, error rate change variably, it is judged that it is impossible to control service continuity with procedural, artificial, and static control method applied to the existing voice service. This research suggests a QoS management mechanism to support the service continuity effectively based on policy control. It means a method in which a subscriber`s terminal collects information about its current condition and base station around, and a base station, through the data collected by monitoring inner or adjacent base station, shares related data and converges, controlling service continuity on its own.

A fish-bone type bridge is vulnerable to the torsional behavior due to the single girder system with planar zigzag conformation. The fixed connecting area between the girder and pier is the special weak point because the torsional load creates excessive stress concentration. Therefore, the method to reduce the stress concentration is required. In this study, the reduction efficiency of various reinforcing types to reduce the excessive stress occurring at the connecting area is evaluated by using numerical analyses.

Since clear span-to-depth ratio is used to define what is so called a deep beam, it is an important parameter ratio for study about deep beam. Deep beams can be designed by flexure design method, and shear provided by concrete (
) and by steel (
) for deep flexure members are provided in ACI 318-99 . But in later version of ACI (from ACI 318-02) it is not provided and deep beams shall be designed either by taking into account nonlinear distribution of strain or by Appendix A of Strut-and-Tie Models (STM). The trend of deep beam design seems to be familiar with strut-and-tie model, but ACI traditional design is not forgotten. By comparing these two method, there should a point which definitely explain the different between the two methods. In this study, 68 samples result of steel, after reinforcement arrangement, are taken to be analyzed.

This study carried out three-dimensional finite element analysis and structural safety evaluation of attachable roadside barriers. The effects of diaphragm distance and the number of bolts on displacements and maximum stresses for various parameters are studied using the LS-DYNA finite element program for this study. In this study, the existing finite element analysis of barriers using the LS-DYNA program is further extended to study static behaviors and structural safety of the barrier with module structures connected by anchor bolt inserted through concrete bridge decks. The numerical results for six parameters are verified by comparing different models with displacements and stress distribution occurred in the barrier and shows good structural performance.
A Study on Variation of Land-use in River Area caused by Levee Construction

This paper defines the hydro-geomorphological river area to estimate the change of the river function before/after levee construction, and proposes the methodology that calculates the river area by using GIS. The boundary of river area is determined by the 100-year potential flood inundation area without the levee effect of the flood protection. Firstly, 1918` land-use map was digitized and the changes were analyzed by comparing with 2007` digitized map. The result shows that urban/farmland zone in Mankyung river area were increased by 0.4%/11.6% and bare ground was decreased by 10.0% so that the effective use of floodplain due to levee construction leaded to better productivity, but the decrease of the environment function of the river was predicted as result of the reduction of the river area.

Numerical analysis with ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) Adaptive Meshing technique was performed to evaluate the pullout capacity of the embedded suction anchors (ESA) in uniform clay. The numerical method was verified by the previous study, analytical results based on limit-equilibrium theory and centrifuge tests. The pullout capacity of the ESA under horizontal, vertical, and inclined loading were evaluated, and the effect of initial rotation of the ESA on pullout capacity was also investigated. The analysis results showed that the maximum horizontal capacity was obtained at the mid-point, and the each vertical capacity gave the similar value regardless of the loading points. Furthermore, the inclined capacity was decreased as the load inclination angle increased at the mid-point of the anchor, and almost the same pullout capacity was obtained when the initial rotation angles were below 30 degrees.

The Utilization Analysis of FKP Network RTK for Site Surveying

The recent increase in the number of network RTK users has led to a longer wait time for connecting to the existing VRS service, and consequently caused inconvenience such as a longer turnaround time for surveys. To resolve such issue, the NGII has developed the FKP service that involves a one-way communication. However, it is not spreading across the market as fast as anticipated, due to accuracy problems in the field. This study uses eight unified control points for a reliability assessment to compare and analyze the survey results obtained through the VRS and FKP services in various ways. The analysis reveals that the standard deviation of the FKP service is
, which is two times larger than that of the VRS, whilst its standard errors are X:-0.025m and Y:0.011m, proving that it is reliable to be used in the field. Therefore, we expect that the FKP service is going to be more broadly utilized for field surveys in the future.

The purpose of this research is to suggest the direction of basic plan for vitalizing community center street which is stagnant by analyzing current state and results of urban design road in `Gwangcheonro`, a center of Gwangcheon community, and street environment improvement and seeking the measures of improvement. Through the on-the-site inspection and user interview of objective street, the problems were grasped to be narrowly walking road by obstacles, appearance damage by illegal advertisement facility, etc. To vitalize there as a main street for the improvement of walking environment, first is to establish street environment focusing on pedestrians, second is to improve street landscape, third is to design walking-friendly commercial complex and the final is to design street with factors through the relation with regional development factors.

A local rain that is concentrated in specific area in a short time frequently occurs due to recent abnormal weather. To prevent potential flood disasters, therefore, it is necessary to be established to the flood control system. Checking the river design standard, however, hydrologic design frequency of water gate is only marked as over 20 years, so this fact shows that the standard is unclear. The inland inundation modeling considering the stage in a river and quantitative assessment are required to reduce flood damage. The simulation for internal inundation is very complex and is time-consuming due to considering hydraulic hydrology characteristics at the same time. Using the already established river master plan, consequently, this study proposed the simple and convenient method for assessment of the internal inundation simulation. Using the proposed method in the upper and middle regions of a river, influences for design frequency or water gate location were assessed by applying the nine probability precipitation with design frequency and by targeting the water gates which are installed in five inlands.
An Experimental Study on Pullout Characteristics of Post-installed Set Anchor for Concrete under Edge Distance, Anchor Interval and Concrete Strength

In 1990s, with the increase of domestic building renovation but also increase the amount of anchor. The 45-degree cone failure theory has been used in concrete anchor bolts design, but the CCD (concrete capacity design) method was adopted as a new design method since 2000. However, the method has some problems because it is based on the experimental results of pre-installed concrete anchor bolts. In this study, the objective is to investigate the effects of anchor edge distance, anchor interval and concrete strength on pullout characteristics of post-installed concrete set anchor embedded in plain concrete.
A Study on the Specialized Classrooms of Governmental Secondary Schools in the Japanese Colonial Era -Focused on Architectural Drawings for Collected by National Archives of Korea

This study aims to review the characteristics of specialized classrooms for governmental secondary schools in the Japanese Colonial Era by analyzing architectural drawings collected by National Archives of Korea. The results of this study are summarized as follows 1) Under the influence of Japanese science promotion of that time, specialized classrooms for science were considered as one of essential facilities. Typically exclusive specialized classrooms were assigned to two major science subjects : physics-chemistry and biology. 2) To science specialized classrooms, ancillary rooms for preparation, experiment equipment and specimen were attached and science lecture room with stepped floor was planned additionally only for the lecture on theories and the demonstration of experiment. 3) Specialized classrooms for science were zoned independently of other facilities because of the special equipments and safety. 4) Art rooms were common to both boys` and girls` schools but concerning music rooms, girls` schools had special concerns, whereas boys` schools did not. 5) Specialized classrooms for homemaking subject of girls` school were as much important as those for science subjects of boys` school. 6) Some early-established Korean boys` schools had handicraft rooms which were the symbol of vocational education-oriented, unequal policy on Koreans. Though not general cases, specialized classrooms for geography-history were planned for Japanese boys` school. Restricted to governmental secondary schools but considering the uncommon state of specialized classrooms of that time, these characteristics show conditions of early time when special classrooms were introduced into Korea.
Development Method on Interface Module for IFC-Based Data Exchange of Building Structures

The purpose of this study is to propose the method to develop IFC interface module with less time and effort, which can support the IFC-based data exchange of building structures. The core of the IFC interface module is that 1) the physical and conceptual objects well suited to the knowledge and experience of the building structures are exploited and 2) no in-depth knowledge about IFC is required. The proposed method is to 1) divide the IFC interface module into public part open to the external applications and the supporting private part, 2) reorganize the IFC entities related to the building structures into the public part, and 3) reorganize the other IFC entities into the private part. In this study, the IFC interface module was developed and then verified by the application of the module to visualization, member listing, quantity take-off and interface to Tekla of an IFC file.
The Comparative Analysis on Critical Planning Methods and Application Condition of Low-carbon Green City

The main objective of this study is to find out the main fields and methods to create a low carbon green city. Through the findings, we hope to figure out the matters that must be focused on in order to realize a low carbon green city. In order to accomplish this, we organized the main fields and methods of fulfilling this accomplishment by taking a look at recorded documents and past studies related to the creation of low carbon green cities and related concepts. Then a FGI analysis was performed in order to examine suitability and deduct a planning technique. Also, through professional surveys and AHP analysis, we figured out the importance of planning techniques to understand the main characteristics of planning a low carbon green city. We also selected domestic and foreign cases, analysed the actual conditions of applying the deducted planning techniques, and compared the importance of planning techniques in order to see the difference between our plans and real results. 15 planning techniques were deducted and divided into 5 groups. The importance analysis and case analysis showed the following to be the main elements in planning the creation of a low carbon green city: compact high-density development, a traffic system revolving around pedestrians, active utilization of new and renewable energy, and establishment of a recycling system for waste.

This study chiefly aims to find out the efficient ways of designing community facility convertible to refuge in case of emergency. In order to reach this goal, this study analyzed (1) definition of terminologies regarding disaster and refuge space, (2)present situation of regarding acts and standards, (3)function and spatial specialties of existing community facilities. Besides, in order to clarify the efficient design methods of `function-convertible-type` community facility, this study executes archival research on (1)spatial requirements, (2)methods of designing futuristic community facility. When making design directives of community facilities, it is important to consider (1)vertical integration of rescue related function, (2)spatial division and architectural installation concerning privacy, (3)proper layout of locker room, shower room, toilet, etc. (4)appropriate size of unit space. It is desirable to execute the refuge function with minimum psychological anxiety in case of disaster through design guideline for `function-convertible-type` community facility.

An ERS(Embedded Rail System) has large effect on the load distribution because of its continuous rail support. Therefore, stress level of the track components is lower than that of other system. Though the ERS has various advantages, the application example in a domestic railway is rarely applied and the studies for the application of high-speed service lines are insufficient. In this paper, the vertical stiffness is derived from laboratory test and the optimized cross-section is also derived from the analytical analysis as a basic study for application of ERS on the high-speed service lines.

WeI have studied the process for synthesizing porous silica with a specific surface area of minimum
by adding surfactant [Poly Etylene Glycol(PEG) and Hydroxy Propyl Cellulose(HPC)] to the sol-gel reaction between sodium silicate and hydrochloric acid. NaCl, the by-product of the sol-gel reaction, was water cleaned and removed; when 200 ml of water was used to clean 50 g of silica gel, NaCl remaining in the silica gel was reduced to maximum 0.81wt%. The appropriate level of surfactant for silica gel synthesizing proved to be below 5%. The Effects of CEO Turnover on Stock Returns

This paper has analyzed the effects of CEO turnover and other fundamental variables on stock returns. Therefore, the major purpose of this study is to analyze CEO turnover having a systematical effect on the stock return. The paper uses panel data analysis. We find that the results of regressions say that CEO turnover, book-to-market ratio, earning-to-price ratio, cash flow-to-price ratio, and firm size can explain the differences in average returns across stocks.
