Analysis of fire hazard of karaoke utilizing the fire simulation

In this study, 2-zone model CFAST software was used to predict the fire hazard of karaoke. Model is a three-dimensional unsteady state. Accuracy of CFAST is verified by comparing result of CFAST analysis with result of real fire experiment. For analysis results, the oxygen concentration were reduced to 10% within 5 minutes in room 5, the carbon dioxide concentration were increased to 5%. Therefore, at the enclosed space like karaoke, we can predict that dangerous situation would occur and people be suffocated because of toxic gas.

As the production of electronic goods increases, poor products increase. Smart phone lens has much probability of breakage due to vibration happened at machine during the procedure of production. At this study model of smart phone, robot installed at guide rail is applied by various load according to its mass and investigated with vibration analysis. The analysis result in this study is thought to supply the material necessary at safe design and development on manufacturing machine system of smart phone lens by assembled automation.
Theoretical approach on the heating and cooling system design for an effective operation of Li-ion batteries for electric vehicles

This study is aiming to suggest the effective thermal management system design technologies for the high voltage and capacity battery system of the electricity driven vehicles and introduce the theoretical designing methods. In order to investigate the effective operation of the battery system for the electricity driven vehicles, the heat generation model for Li-ion battery system using the chemical reaction while charging and discharging was suggested and the thermal loads of the heat sources (air or liquid) for cooling and heating were calculated using energy balance. Especially, the design methods for the cooling and heating of the battery system for maintaining the optimum operation temperature were investigated under heating, cooling and generated heat (during charging and discharging) conditions. The battery thermal management system for the effective battery operation of the electricity driven vehicles was suggested reasonably depending on the variation of the season and operation conditions. In addition, at the same conditions under summer season, the cooling method using the liquid and active cooling technique showed a relatively high capacity, while cooling method using the passive cooling technique showed a relatively low capacity.
Numerical Simulation of Bullet Impact for Fuel Cell of Rotorcraft using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics

Military rotorcraft should be designed taking into account the condition of the fuel cell bullet impact. The internal fluid pressure, stress of metal fitting and fuel cell, bullet kinetic energy can be included as the design factor for the fuel cell. The best way to obtain the important design data is to conduct the verification test with actual product. But, the verification test requires huge cost and long-term effort. Moreover, there is high risk to fail because of the sever test condition. Thus, the numerical simulation is required to reduce the risk of trial-and-error together with prediction of the design data. In the present study, the bullet impact simulation based on SPH(smoothed particle hydrodynamics) is conducted with the commercial package, LS-DYNA. As the result of the numerical simulation, the internal pressure of fuel cell is calculated as 350~360MPa and the equivalent stress caused by hydro-ram effect is predicted as 260~350MPa on metal fittings.
Conceptual Design of Safety Step System in Urban Railway Platforms

Recently, safety accident by misstep at the gap between the platform and railway vehicle have frequently occurred to the mobility handicapped including disabled person, children etc. in metropolitan subway region. Particularly, because the curved platform's gap from platform to railway vehicle is max. 260mm it is important to securement of the passenger's safe mobility right. So it is necessary to platform safety step equipment for needs technology to interface gap between the platform and railway vehicle. In this study we examined the function & production requirements of platform safety step and performed the conceptual design considering the crash safety and maintenance easiness. Moreover, considering various performance requirements we suggested step's operation procedure & control flowchart.
Development of Cutting Jig using Separation of PCB component

In the present study, we aimed to obtain multi jig that PCB sheet with several PCB component can cut in a short time as to the Separation of PCB component. PCB supporter designed safely at the base frame and each model can be separable. it completed the neodium magnet for the fixing of the upper part laser transmission hole of the both. One of the development, the cutting working with one base frame which PCB component of various standard, fixing of module and bridge connected to PCB component could be possible. and it reduced the inconvenience which has to replace the base frame and PCB sheet fixed member. It compared to other press up about 70% of accuracy and a reduction in investment cost was about 400%.
Effects of pilot injection timing on the Combustion and Emission Characteristics in a Common Rail Diesel Engine with Bio-diesel blended fuel

An experimental study was performed to investigate the characteristics of combustion pressure and exhaust emissions when the pilot injection timing and EGR rate were changed in a CRDI 4-cylinder diesel engine using bio-diesel blended fuel. The pilot injection timing and EGR rate have a significant impact on the combustion and emission characteristics of diesel engine. In this study, the pilot injection timing and EGR rate variation were conducted to 2000rpm of engine speed with fuel of bio-diesel blended rate 20%. In these experimental results, IMEP was shown maximum pressure at pilot injection timing BTDC
combustion pressure and heat release rate were decreased in proportion to increase of EGR rate under the same pilot injection timing conditions. The NOx emission was decreased with increasing the EGR rate without influence on pilot injection timing. However, soot emission was reduced to a minimum at pilot injection timing BTDC
A Study on Securing Ship Survivability focused on a Cost and Effectiveness Analysis for Air Defense Performance

It is crucial to set up early the required performance of surface ship for preventing the risk factors such as an excess of performance, cost and period in development stage. In this study, MOP and MOE are proposed to establish the method for deriving alternatives, MOP represents the defensive effect for anti ship missiles and MOE is the ratio of cost and performance. The 16 engagement scenarios which selectively install RF decoy, RF jammer, CIWS and anti air missile are suggested. The simulation results by using NORAM tool operated by ROK Navy show that the ship survivability is 0.605~0.975 and MOP is 0.301~0.887. The analyzed results represent the operating scenario with RF decoy, RF jammer and short range anti air missile is the best cost and effectiveness measure.
Analysis of the Effect on the Process Parameters for the Thin Ceramic Plate in the Ceramic Injection Molding

Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM) is one of wide used processes in industry field and the applications are gradually being expanded to parts of medical and electric devices. In this study, the CIM process were analyzed with FEM and process parameters were studied and analyzed the effect on product quality. The shape of simple flat plate was compared to the shapes with the hole, with the round corner portion or with the side wall portion. If there are holes then the hole around the uneven density distribution and the defects such as weld lines could be occurred. The Large radius of the corners of the product give good formability and fluidity. Not only the shape parameters of product but also the process parameters during CIM are studied. The simulation results showed that the process parameters of temperature, initial fractions and velocity are important design parameters to improve the quality of products.

As environmental awareness increases, regulations on exhaust gas of automobile, which is a cause of air pollution, have been strengthened. In order to meet emission regulation, automobile companies and engine manufacturers have actively developed the related technologies. Because the emission control has become severe, the systems using electronic motor or solenoid valve for high precise control are needed. For this reason, it is required not only the optimization of composition of components for improving performance and efficiency of the system but also the development of optimal design technology of electronic control system by securing the designing and manufacturing technology of the components. In this paper, it is proposed the position characteristics for electronic EGR valve module through the applied control logic and experiment results.
Statistical Modeling of Joint Distribution Functions for Reliability Analysis

Reliability analysis of mechanical systems requires statistical modeling of input random variables such as distribution function types and statistical parameters that affect the performance of the mechanical systems. Some random variables are correlated, but considered as independent variables or wrong assumptions on input random variables have been used. In this paper, joint distributions were modeled using copulas and Bayesian method from limited number of data. To verify the proposed method, statistical simulation tests were carried out for various number of samples and correlation coefficients. As a result, the Bayesian method selected the most probable copula types among candidate copulas even though the candidate copula shapes are similar for low correlations or the number of data is limited. The most probable copulas also yielded similar reliabilities with the true reliability obtained from a true copula, so that it can be concluded that the Bayesian method provides accurate statistical modeling for the reliability analysis.
Study on Performance Evaluation of Mixing Section of Ejector using CFD simulation

An ejector is a kind of pump which is using pressure energy of high pressure fluid. This study aims to investigate performance influencing according to change the ejector mixing section shape using CFD simulation by Finite Volume Method. Optimum conditions were suggested 3 kind of variable such as nozzle diameter, nozzle length, distance from nozzle tip to the diffuser inlet. The results, It was confirmed that the diameter of the nozzle was the greatest effect in performance of the ejector. The diameter of the nozzle get smaller, mixing ratio was increased. On the other hand, nozzle length, distance from nozzle tip to the diffuser inlet had little effect on performance. It was proposed specific Mixing section, Nozzel diameter 23.8mm using the Artificial Neural Network.
Analysis Study on Vibration Durability on Lens Manufacturing System of Camera

In this study, the critical frequency happened at system is analyzed when the motor of camera manufacturing system is working on the direction of Z axis. Configurations of modes at natural frequencies happened at two models are investigated by the study result through modal analysis. The range of natural frequency in this study system is from 100 Hz to 500 Hz. At this range, the maximum equivalent stress in case of 20 kg weight becomes 6.2335MPa and this stress is shown as 50 times more than in case of 10 kg weight. The working safety of system can be investigated through the analyses of natural frequency and harmonic response of this camera manufacturing system.
Experimental study on the heat transfer characteristics of woofer speaker unit

The objective of this study is to experimentally investigate the heat transfer characteristics of 200W woofer speaker unit with the input voice signals such as 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 3000 Hz. The temperature and heat transfer characteristics of the woofer speaker unit were evaluated with the input signals. As results. the temperature of the voice-coil for woofer speaker unit increased with a decrease of the input signals and the temperature differences between parts of the tested speaker unit increased with the decrease of the input voice signals. In addition, the voice-coil temperature for the input signal of 500 Hz showed 48.4 % lower than that of 3000 Hz during 18000 sec.
Heat transfer characteristics with materials of the filler and flow path in vehicle washer heater system

Vehicle washer heater system is more widely adopted to defrost a window or to clear the windshield glass in winter season. The washer heater system should be designed to heat up washer fluid rapidly to the target temperature for only a short time. A numerical analysis has been carried out to analyze the heat transfer characteristics with materials of inside parts in vehicle washer heater system with filler and flow path. ANSYS - FLUENT software is employed for the analysis. The axial symmetry model is three-dimensional and unsteady. It applies to the coupled method which is one of pressure based. Through this result, it was obtained to find the optimal material condition for the filler and flow path in washer system. For material of filler, the air with lower density was heated more rapidly rather than silicon carbide(SiC). For material of flow path, copper with the heat transfer coefficient of approximately four times greater than the nickel gives us higher efficiency. That is the reason why the heating time of methanol was reduced to make uniform temperature in washer heater system.

Also their abundant experiences and know-how made their own music into Fusion Jazz. They always tried to make new approach specializing Fusion Jazz genre, which makes us realize that they are the front runners of Contemporary Jazz mixing music with the situation of the time. This paper analyzes harmonic parts and arranged parts these two guitarists show and studies the musical meaning and characteristics their representative albums have. Also this paper focuses on some developments and growth by examining the relationship between these two guitarists.
A study on ecosystem model of the magazines for smart devices Focusing on the case of magazine business in foreign countries

In the smart media environment, magazine industry has been experiencing a transition to ecosystem of value network, which includes high complexity and ambiguity. Using case study method, this article conducts research on digital convergence, the model of magazine ecosystem and adaptation strategy of global magazine companies. Research findings have it that the way of contents production of global magazines has been based on collaborative production system within communities, expert communities, creative users, media contents companies and magazine platform. The system shows different patterns and characteristics depending on magazine-driven platform, Platform-driven platform or user-driven platform. Collaboration system has been confirmed in various cases: Huffington Post and Zinio which collaborate with media contents companies, Amazon magazines and Bookish with magazine companies, Huffington Post and Wired with expert communities, and Flipboard with creative users and communities. Foreign magazine contents diverge into (paper, electronic, app and web magazine) as they start the lively trades of their contents on the magazine platform. In the area of contents uses, readers employ smart media technology effectively such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence and module individualization, making it possible for the virtuous cycle to remain in the relationship within communities, expert communities and creative users.
The Effect of Dance as a Healing Art influential to Elderly Women's Brain Function

This study is analized with how Dance as a healing art influence to elderly women's brain function measured by 2 channel system EEG(Electroencephalogram). The objects in this study are 60 aged over 65years in K city. The study started from March to July in 2013. The treatment was conducted by ones a week, 60minutes a time for 16 weeks. Participants are 30 of the experimental group and 30 of the control group checked by EEG before and after treatment. The result in experimental group is indicated as followed. The Basic Rhythm Quotient Lt(79.11/89.56, p<.015), wave length Rt((8.33/9.37, p<.003), amplitude Lt(39.87/47.19, p<.006), amplitude Rt(40.09/49.87, p<.000) did show statistically higher score after treatment. Therefore, dance as a healing art is to be proved the value and efficiency of the practical use for activating elderly women's brain function.
The Impact of Names upon the Stress and Self-esteem Before and After Renaming

This study aims to analyze the impact of names on stress and self-esteem, comparing before and after renaming. A survey was published and conducted on a renaming club website for the period from 1 April 2013 to 31 May and there were 161 participants. The invitation to survey was limited to members who had changed their names at least six months before the survey and the impact was measured by comparing before and after the first renaming. For the analysis of the data, frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and correlation analysis were performed. As a result, the level of stress caused by one's name was lowered after renaming, and one's self-esteem significantly went up compared to before renaming. Therefore, the stress from one's name is believed to affect one's self-esteem, and the study shows that there is a negative correlation as the lower the stress from one's name becomes, the higher one's self-esteem goes up. Therefore, this study is considered to be able to contribute to reducing stress caused by names, as it has proved that the self-esteem increases and the level of stress is lowered after renaming.

These days, there is increasing those who like spicy food, people release stress by eating spicy food. But, when you eat spicy food, there is a difference but, we visually can be found red facial color to change. In this paper, when you eat spicy food, we carried out experiment which comparison and analysis color change of facial area depending on Sasang constitutional type. To this end, we organized test subject group by Sasang constitutional type according to survey result for Sasang constitutional type. And then we carried out interrelationship analysis between spicy food and facial color depending on facial color to apply Lab color system based on facial image which is before and after eat a hot spicy pepper.

The purpose of this study is to examine the explanatory power of factors similar change to see what the value of the child's father give faith, grow, grow what kind of participation in the developmental characteristics of infants affected. 1,802 people infants born in 2010, the study is his father, I used the data for the next fiscal year 3 Panel Korea Policy Institute childcare children that target it. Analysis of the data, we have carried out frequency analysis using SPSS18.0, The value of the infant's father a child problem-solving skills, fine motor activity been found to affect the activity. Muscle activity for the father of the infant did not influence variables are. And the infant's communication, personal-social variables that affect the independence turned out to be a father involved in parenting.
An Analysis on Supply-Demand Outlook of Korean Omija(Medicinal Plant)

This study analyze the impact of omija(maximowiczia chinensis) market by Korea-China FTA and review the change of mid and long term supply-demand from 2014 to 2018. A scenario is also imported to simulate and measure the impacts of the Korea-China FTA. The scenario is that tariff rates for Chinese product(omija) will be zero after 5 years from 2014. A partial equilibrium model of Omija is specified to forecast mid and long term supply-demand and prices. Equations in the model were estimated by using econometric techniques. The results based on scenario are compared with the results by the baseline case(maintenance of current situation). Our study show that when the tariff rates for Chinese product(Omija) will be zero after 5 years from 2014, the cultivated area of Omija is forecasted to decline until 3,370ha in 2018, and the consumption is forecasted to increase up to 12,040.8MT in 2018, and also total revenue of about 9.8 billion korean won will be decreased during 5 years(2014-2018).

This study was conducted in order to the investigate factors associated with turnover intention and the relationship among nursing professionalism, job satisfaction and turnover intention of nurses working in a small and medium-Sized hospital. The Effects Long-Term Orientation and CSR Activities on Business Performance in Social Enterprise

The purpose of this study is examine the factors influencing performance of long-term orientation and Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) activities. This model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to social enterprise, CSR activities and long-term orientation. The proposed model is analyzed to target 115 social entrepreneurs with Smart Partial Least Square(PLS) 2.0. The result of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, long-term orientation positively influence community responsibility, environmental responsibility, and product(service) responsibility. Second, community responsibility positively influence financial and non-financial performance. Third, environmental responsibility positively influence non-financial performance, but does not significantly influence financial performance. Finally, product(service) responsibility does not significantly influence financial and non-financial performance. The results of this study will provide various implications to improve performance, long-term orientation, and CSR activities in social enterprise.

This study adopts an ecological perspective to empirically navigate the issues surrounding the impact of parental abuse on the emotional development of adolescents. The data is used from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2011 (KCYPS 2011), which was conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute (n=2,270). Path models were constructed in which adolescents' environmental mediators (i.e., the relationship with parents, friends, and teachers; and school life) control their negative emotions (i.e., aggressiveness, negative physical symptoms, social weakness and depression); in turn to compare the difference between two groups based on parental abuse by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). As with the non-abused group (n=1,644), all the environmental mediators remained significant to control their negative emotion; whereas, the abused group (n=626) showed no significant pathway from their relationship with teachers and school life to negative emotion. This indicates that the abused group have limited number of the mediators to control their negative emotion than those of the non-abused group. For the non-abused group, the mediator with the highest total effect to control their negative emotion was the relationship with their friends; on the other hand, the abused group's mediator that showed the highest total effect to control their negative emotion was the relationship with their parents. Although the relationship with teachers remained significant as a mediator to affect school life for the both groups, teachers were not significant to control the negative emotion of the abused group. These findings suggest that the negative relationship with teachers in the abused group is a factor to threat the school adaptation of adolescents, which also leads to problems that are related to the emotional development of adolescents.
Simulation Analysis to Optimize the Management of Military Maintenance Facility

As the future national defense plan of government focus on advanced weapon system, military maintenance facility becomes more important. However, military maintenance facility has been managed by director's experience and simple mathematical calculation until now. Thus, the optimization for the management of military maintenance facility is suggested by more scientistic and logical methods in this study. The study follows the procedure below. First, simulation is designed according to the analysis of military maintenance facility. Second, independent variable and dependent variable are defined for optimization. Independent Variable includes the number of maintenance machine, transportation machine, worker in the details of military maintenance facility operation, and dependent variable involves total maintenance time affected by independent variable. Third, warmup analysis is performed to get warmup period, based on the simulation model. Fourth, the optimal combination is computed with evolution strategy, meta-heuristic, to enhance military maintenance management. By the optimal combination, the management of military maintenance facility can gain the biggest effect against the limited cost. In the future, the multipurpose study, to analyze the military maintenance facility covering various weapon system equipments, will be performed.
An Empirical Study of Foreign Direct Investment and Economic Growth in Developing Countries

For the past decades, role of foreign direct investment has increased. Specially, East Asia and BRICs has experienced rapidly economic growth by FDI. Nevertheless, most of developing countries suffer from poverty. This paper empirically explores the impacts of FDI on economic output using a cross-country analysis based on data from 88 developing countries for the years 1990-2011. To this end, FDI is explicitly included in production function as production factor. Cross-country regression of income level is estimated with the country's human development, population growth, physical accumulation, and FDI as explanatory variables. Main finding of this paper is that FDI has a positive and significant impact on economic growth.
Correlations between Sensory Processing Abilities and Safe Driving Behavior in Older Adults

The research was conducted to understand the correlation between sensory processing ability and safe driving behavior of over 65. Questionnaires regarding sensory processing ability and safe driving behavior were given to 31 people who are in their 65 or over and Pearson Correlation Analysis was carried out on the survey. The result of the research indicates that there is interrelationship between total score of sensory processing ability and safe driving behavior, and sub factors. According to the findings, over 65 showed certain difficulties in sensory processing ability and safe driving behavior due to aging. Therefore, it would be necessary to evaluate their driving behavior and arbitrate appropriate operation therapy.

The purposes of the study are to understand how multicultural efficacy is different and to affecting the multicultural efficacy. To achieve the goals, the study conducted surveys to examine an interrelation of multicultural efficacy on 272 elementary school students in Namyangju-si with questionnaires. First, the results showed that multicultural efficacy of elementary school students scored 2.84 on five point scale. Second, the elements that affected multicultural efficacy of elementary school students include 'openness', 'acceptance', 'respect' of elementary school student toward multiculture awareness, at the same time, elementary students' indirect experience of multiculture and direct experience also make significant influence. The study suggests to develop multiculture-related educational programs, in order to enhance multicultural efficacy and multicultural awareness of elementary students.

A research on differential effects of task and relationship conflicts claims positive effects of task conflict on innovation performance and negative effects of relation conflict on innovation performance. Yet, given the intimate interconnectedness of task conflict and relation conflict, task conflict, which has a beneficial impact on innovation performance, may have adverse effects on innovation performance as it goes through the process of being transferred to relation conflict. That necessitates the need for a way of management that can undermine the process of transference of task conflict to relation conflict, and team identification, which is a social identity of an individual and also a sort of positive, affective or cognitive bonds of such individual toward the team, can be an effective way of managing conflict. The research, which was conducted based on materials collected from 213 employees, confirms that such theory holds true for the real-life business environment. Based on the findings, this study suggested implications and directions for future research.
A Study on the uTradeHub Acceptance Factors Effecting upon the System Usefulness and User Satisfaction

This research herein aims to assist maximizing performance of introduced systems by managing the acceptance factor of uTradeHub that is easily overlooked in the system installation process by trading companies aiming to install uTradeHub system in future by conducting the two following things: i) grasping factors affecting system usefulness and user satisfaction derived from uTradeHub acceptance factor, and ii) analyzing the effect relationship of system usefulness on user satisfaction at an inspection level of system usefulness and user satisfaction, since the uTradeHub system introduced for mid- and small-sized trading companies in export and import works in mid-2008. Proof analysis was conducted by using SPSS 19.0 statistic package on data of 112 effective responses collected through questionnaire surveys, whose results are as follows. First, the uTradeHub acceptance factors having a significant effect on system usefulness are relative advantage, easy of use, task adaptedness, support of CEO, maturity of IT infrastructures, and degree of education/training. Second, the uTradeHub acceptance factors having an effect on user satisfaction are relative advantages, task adaptedness, support of CEO, maturity of IT infrastructures, and degree of education/training. Third, system usefulness showed a significant effect on user satisfaction.
Influence of Employment Stress and Psychological Well-being on Career Decision Efficacy in University Students'

The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that stress for getting a job and psychological well-being affect career decision efficacy of college students. In order to accomplish the purpose, survey was conducted on 447 college students in the city of I. The results were first, college students' stress for getting a job, psychological well-being, and career decision efficacy didn't have difference by the distinction of sex. Second, some significant difference was present on college students' stress for getting a job, psychological well-being, and career decision efficacy by grade levels. Third, some meaningful correlation was shown on college students' stress for getting a job, psychological well-being, and career decision efficacy. Fourth, college students' stress for getting a job and psychological well-being have a positive impact on their career decision efficacy. As seen in such results, in the course of career search and choice, stress for getting a job and psychological well-being was shown as positive variables. When college students are making a decision on their career, their career decision efficacy can be an important factor of career counseling.
Relationships of Job Stress, Fatigue & Depression among one Ship-building Supply Workers

This is a descriptive correlation study to identify job stress, fatigue, and depression among ship-building supply workers. The subjects were 175 ship-building supply workers at one small & medium-sized ship-building supply company in K city. The data were collected from February 1st throughout 28th, 2013. The collected data were analyzed using the SAS program through mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. There was a positive correlation between job need and job insecurity of the job stress underlying factors and fatigue respectively (r=0.15, p<.05; r=0.17, p<.05). There was a negative correlation between organizational system factor and fatigue (r=-0.19, p<.05). Also there was a positive correlation between workplace culture factor and depression (r=0.15, p<.05). In conclusion, it could be needed for organizational managers to develop strategies for improving the workers' psychosocial workplace environment.

This study was to predict health promote behavior reinforcement with investigation the relationship between health-perception, health-concerned, and health promote behavior among adult male. For this purpose, the data were sampled from people who participate in exercise at least more than once a week, and analyzed. The results are as follows: the group who participate in exercise 4 times a week had higher health-concerned and health promote behavior than other groups. However the health- perception did not affect on exercise level. In the result of structural equation modeling analysis, the highly health-perception was diminished the health promote behavior. In particular, when health-concerned came highly, the health promote behavior was increased. Therefore, these results are discussed based on preceding research.

This study investigated the mediating role that subordinates' job satisfaction might play in influencing the relationships between abusive supervision and subordinates' organizational identification and workplace deviance behavior(WDB-O). With data gathered from employees(N=281) representing a wide array of organizations, structural equation modeling was used to test hypotheses. The results showed that abusive supervision is negatively related to job satisfaction and consequently organizational identification, positively associated with organizational deviance behavior through job satisfaction indirectly and has a direct effect on WDB-O.

This study was carried out to define gazelle industry through preceded research for gazelle firm & gazelle region, in order to discover high-growth industries. As team based organizational structure is commonly spreading, many employees perform as a team member. This situation increases not only team commitment but also conflict to team members. But there are not many researches about the relationship between conflict and team commitment. This research proves the mediation effect of team efficacy and communication satisfaction when conflict have effect on team commitment. We have the following results. First, task conflict and relationship conflict have negative effect on team commitment. Second, team efficacy mediates task conflict and team commitment. Third, communication satisfaction mediates relationship conflict and team commitment.

The society experiencing the industrialization and urbanization has got over the socio-demographic change. these changes make the number of the population around the world, and this phenomenon is flowing into the whole country. Korea has became a Aging Society since 2000 and will be turned into the aged society by the 2018. therefore, the importance of preparing elderly living life such as silver town is getting emphasized. the purpose of this study is aimed at analyzing the decision elements of the preliminary demanders' intention who selecting Elderly Housing. Based on this study, it was broken down by the type much more. Binary Logistic Regression Analysis of Factors affecting the Elderly housing choices were subdivided. Through this process, improvement and the implications of this study was derived. this study deducts 3 kinds of implications. First, the preference for the development of elderly housing are different with each type of characteristics. Second, the indicators along with the individual characteristics account for the most part of the surface. so the specific investigation for the demand must be required to check the indicators. Third, when it comes to development of urban elderly housing, it requires to have a part of a local government plans securing the land. Fourth, when it comes to development of suburb elderly housing, it is required to arrange the living environment around the suburbs to let user classes living in Gyeonggi-do flow into elderly housing and live their new-life in the suburbs. Finally, when it comes to development of rural elderly housing, a variety of production, leisure and other programs should be made and put into there.
A Study on Job Satisfaction and Stress in Relation to Job Features of Nursing Assistants - Case Study with Nursing Assistants in Seoul Metropolitan City -

The present study aims to examine job satisfaction and stress in relation to features of jobs taken by nursing assistants. The subjects for study are 469 nursing assistants active at work in various medical clinics and hospitals in Seoul Metropolitan City, engaged in a study conducted from May 1, 2013 through September 4, 2013. The positive analysis was verified at a significance level of five percent, and SPSS/WIN18.0 was used for statistics process. The analysis of frequency, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple regression analysis were conducted, and was then analyzed by multiple range test for statistics. The analysis reveals that job satisfaction level marks significant variance in accordance to the year of nursing assistant certificate acquired, age, and their final academic backgrounds. As to the job satisfaction variances in accordance to job features, the location of working places, fields of jobs, and the mode of jobs mark the highest. The study indicates that standardized directions for tasks in specific fields of jobs and education programs should be implemented for consistent management are requisite for improved efficiency of nursing assistants and professional nursing workforce.
The Effect of Overseas Export Factors of ICT Companies on Non-Financial Performance

In this study, I empirically analyzed the factors affecting export performance with domestic ICT companies. I set up 3 variables - companies' factors, marketing factors and factors of export supporting system - as the factors affecting export performance, based on findings of precedent studies; and I set up non-financial performance as a dependent variable. As a result of analysis, I found out that companies' factors(market orientation of CEO, competitiveness in export, experience of export) and marketing factors(diversification of overseas market, barriers to marketing), among the variables affecting export performance, were the variables affecting non-financial performance, set up as the export performance; but the factors of awareness, availability and difficulty, set up as the detail factor among factors of export supporting system, do not affect non-financial performance.
The Effect of Depression and Suicide Prevention Program for Vulnerable Community-Dwelling Elderly Women

The purpose of this study was to develop a program to prevent depression and suicidality in vulnerable community-dwelling elderly women, then to furthermore demonstrate the effectiveness of the program in a community setting. The researchers designed the depression and suicide prevention program by combining a cognitive behavioral theory model with prospective research data. The effects of the program were measured by time-series design based on survey results from 12 vulnerable community-dwelling elderly women. The depression and suicide prevention program was implemented and feelings of depression, suicidal ideation, and hopelessness were measured 4 weeks before implementation, prior to implementation, immediately following implementation, and 4 weeks after implementation. Although there was no statistically significant difference in feelings of depression, suicidal ideation, and hopelessness immediately after implementation of the program, there was a statistically significant difference in all parameters 4 weeks following the implementation of the program. Therefore, we recommend the implementation of our program in community mental health care centers or welfare facilities.
A study on Career decision-making patterns based on Sense of Values of undergraduate students majoring in Cosmetology

The purpose of this study is to offer data for developing a guide that can help cosmetology majors with career decision-making and career guidance by identifying their values and career paths and analyzing the correlation between the two. This study was conducted on 474 college students with cosmetology-related majors nationwide. First, their values had an effect on their career decision-making. Second, there were differences in their values and career decision-making depending on their concentrations. According to the research, the values of cosmetology majors were divided by type and their correlation with career decision-making was analyzed. The results will be helpful for cosmetology students to explore and decide upon their careers if professors comprehend students' individual tendencies, explain the characteristics of cosmetology-related jobs, and provide them the chances to have practical work experience in the field, based on the findings of this study.
The Effects of Aroma Inhalation Method with Roll-on in Occupation Stress, Depression and Sleep in Female Manufacture Shift Workers

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of aroma inhalation method with roll-on in occupation stress, depression and sleep in female manufacture shift workers. The study was a nonequivalent control group pre-post test design. The subjects in this study were female manufacture shift workers who were from K-do area; 26 in the experiment group and 26 in the control group. Data was collected from April 1 to May 25. The questionnaires about pre and post occupation stress, depression and sleep were used to identify the effect of aroma inhalation method with roll-on. The data was analyzed using SPSS Win 18.0 version program. The homogeneity between two groups of general characteristics was analyzed by Chi-square test and independent t-test. The homogeneity of occupation stress, depression and sleep were analyzed by independent t-test. The difference of pre-post occupation stress, depression and sleep were analyzed by independent t-test. The finding of this study were as follows: The first research hypothesis that the occupation stress of the experimental group might get less than the control group was rejected(t=-0.37, p=.717). The second research hypothesis that depression of the experimental group might get less than the control group was accepted(t=-6.11, p<.001). The third research hypothesis that sleep of the experimental group might get less than the control group was accepted(t=3.15, p=.003). Based on the above-mentioned findings, Aroma inhalation method with roll-on can be utilized as an effective intervention for depression and sleep in female shift workers in the manufacturing industry. and The multiple nursing intervention should be needed to decrease on occupation stress in female manufacture shift workers.
Risk factors and effect of screening for gastric cancer in a university hospital

To study the risk factors and effect of gastric cancer screening, case-control study was conducted. From June 2007 to December 2011, 580 newly diagnosed gastric cancer (342 advanced gastric cancer, 171 early gastric cancer) patients were enrolled at the department of general surgery in a university hospital. History of gastric examinations and possible risk factors were collected through interviews with structured questionnaire and reviewed medical chart. Comparing advanced cancer and early gastric cancer were analysed by chi-square test and logistic regression. The results showed that aged 70 and over (OR 2.393; 95%CI 1.329-4.310), Ex-smoker (OR 1.612; 95%CI 0.970-2.680), blood type A (OR 1.784; 95%CI 1.035-3.075), and H. pylori infection (OR 1.699; 95%CI 0.905-3.191) were important risk factors for advanced gastric cancer compared to early gastric cancer. Weight loss (OR 2.752; 95%CI 1.333-5.684) and indigestion (OR 1.574; 95%CI 1.069-2.319) were also important sign and symptom. Although the results cannot find effect of screening, national policies on early cancer detection must conduct.
The relationship between lifestyle and sodium intake in Korean middle-aged workers

This research was conducted to grasp the characteristics of excessive sodium intake and its related factors in Korean middle-aged workers to help prevent and manage cardio-cerebrovascular disease. Study subjects were 40-59-year-old workers (n=1,438) who took part in the 2010 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Subjects were divided into: 1) a group that ingested more than 4,000 mg of sodium per day and 2) a group that ingested less than 4,000mg of sodium/day. We analyzed the relationship between general characteristics, sodium-related disease, health behaviors, and frequency of eating out with excessive sodium intake. The proportion of subjects with sodium intake of more than 4,000 mg/day was high in men, smokers, and drinkers. As educational level and frequency of eating out went up, so did the proportion of subjects with sodium intake more than 4,000 mg/day. It's necessary to educate the public and create policies regarding sodium reduction in middle-aged men for the prevention and management of cardio-cerebrovascular disease, and various approaches are necessary to reduce overall sodium intake in the restaurant environment.
Speech Rate and Pause Characteristics in Speaker with Flaccid Dysarthria

The purposes of this study were to investigate the characteristics of speech rate and pause in patients with flaccid dysarthria. For this purpose, 15 patients with flaccid dysarthria and 15 normal speakers matched in gender and age participated as subjects. The overall speech rate, the articulation rate, the inter-sentence and the intra-sentence pause duration and pause frequency were measured during reading the standardized passage "Autumn"(Kim, 1996). As a result, the overall speech rate and articulation rate of patients with flaccid dysarthria were significantly slower than normal speakers and intra-sentence pause duration and frequency of patients with flaccid dysarthria were significantly higher than normal speakers, but those of inter-sentence weren't. The results from this study provides the speech rate index of flaccid dysarthria and indicates that to control the speech rate of flaccid dysarthria have regard to not only the overall speech rate and the articulation rate but also the intra-sentence pause duration and the frequency.

This study was conducted to describe the relationship of Career Identity, Major Satisfaction and College Adaptation of nursing freshmen. The participants were 202 nursing freshmen in K city from October 15 to November 4. The data was collected by questionnaires and was analyzed using SPSS 20.0. There was a significant positive correlation among Career Identity, Major Satisfaction and College Adaptation of nursing freshmen. It was found that the effect of Career Identity and Major Satisfaction on College Adaptation was 45.0%. The results of this study provided a foundation to recognize importance of College Adaptation and to develop intervention program to improve College Adaption of nursing freshmen.
A Study of Cognitive Function and Driving Status of Elderly Owner Driver

The purpose of this study is to provide some basic information for elderly driving safety, by analyzing the current state. This study analyzed 128 survey questionnaires given to senior welfare center user in P city and evaluated Montreal Cognitive Assessment Korean Version(MoCA-K) and Neurobehavioral Cognitive Status Examination(NCSE) for checked 41 owner drivers by questionnaires. 32% of total elderly persons was owner driver, and 56.1% of elderly drivers was driving everyday. 56.1% of elderly persons was driving for 1-2hours per day. 46.3% of elderly persons was using a car for leisure activity and 31.7% of elderly drivers was experienced a car accident. As cognitive function evaluation, some elderly drivers showed scores lower than average in subcategories of cognitive functions for driving a car. So, methodical evaluation system for accurate evaluation of deficit ability and driving re-education system will be required for safety driving of elderly person. In future, a legal approach of government as driver licence management and renewal system will be required for safety driving of elderly person.
Integration of Application Program for Dementia Diagnosis using Biometric Sensor and Oxygen Chamber

Dementia once occurred is known to be mostly irreversible but can be treated only if it is detected early; especially vascular Dementia. Thus, in this paper we have developed Dementia diagnosis and care application through inter-working between biometric sensors and smart phone. With developing serious game for the demented elderly, we proposed ons-stop solution for Dementia; smart-phone application with diagnosis, prevention and mitigation of Dementia. Since the proposed game for mitigating Dementia requires sense of space and balance using both arms instead of operating simple arrow button, a treatment effect for Dementia will be doubled. If we tried to forestall, ease and cure Dementia with the proposed application. the social losses from Dementia would be minimized as a result.
The Relationship among Gender-Role Identity, Gender Stereotype, Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention of Male Nurses

This study was conducted to investigate of gender-role identity, gender stereotype, job satisfaction and turnover intention in male nurses. The data were obtained from 86 male nurses with from August to December 2012.The data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The results showed that gender-role identity types were androgyny(33.7%), Undifferentiated(30.2%), feminity(19.8%) and masculinity(16.3%). Androgyny style was appeared that higher job satisfaction(
=12.80 p= .005) than other. There were statistically significant correlation between gender stereotype and turnover intention(r=.22, p=.044), job satisfaction and intention(r=-.36, p<.001). It is needed to improve their job satisfaction about that low gender-role identity type of male nurses and reduce employee turnover in the field of nursing.
Effects on the Risk of Cardiovascular Disease in Breast Cancer Patients Received Postoperative Adjuvant Anticancer Therapy

To find the risk of cardiovascular disease for breast cancer patients received postoperative adjuvant anticancer therapy, this study was investigated the change of serum lipid profile (total cholesterol and trigyiceride) and the 10 year risk score of ischemic heart disease. Medical data of 432 breast cancer patients diagnosed at the breast cancer center in an university hospital from January, 2003 to December, 2006 were collected and analysed. The results showed that the levels of total cholesterol and triglyceride were increased at the points of 2 and 5 years after operation. The margin of increase of total cholesterol was higher in the patients without endocrine therapy compared to them with endocrine therapy, however there were no changes in the level of triglyceride regardless of endocrine therapy. There were also no significant changes in total cholesterol and triglyceride levels between chemotherapy, radiotherapy and endocrine therapy. 10 year-risk score of ischemic heart disease was increased by 0.44%p in the final observation compared to that of a baseline.
Reliability and Validity of Korean Version of the SWAL-QOL

The Purpose of the this study was to identify reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Swallowing Quality of Life questionnaire(KSWAL-QOL). The study was performed in 71 patients diagnosed dysphagia by videofluoroscopy and 80 healthy swallowers. The reliability was good with a Cronbach's
and intraclass correlation coefficient of .86~.96 and .80~.93, respectively. The Pearson product moment correlation coefficients between KSWAL-QOL scales ranged from .17~.74 which was showed significant correlation. Healty swallowers scored higher than dysphagic patients on all scales and statistically significant differences were observed across all the scales between healthy swallowers and dysphagic patients(p<.01). Tube feeders scored lower than non-tube feeders on all scales and statistically significant differences were observed in all the scales except sleep(p<.05). There are significant difference between diet steps in all scales except eating desire, communication, fear and people on diet fourth step feeding had the highest scores on the all scales(p<.05). Because KSWAL-QOL seems to be a reliable and valid tool, it is considered to be appropriate as a tool to measure quality of life of patient with swallowing disorder.
Analysis of Kinematic Parameters of Gait in Normal Subject

This study was to performed to get the reference data of the kinematic parameters for normal subjects according to the arm movement type. Forty-five normal subjects participated in this study and preformed four sequence according to the arm movement type : normal arm movement, one arm movement, no arm movement, fitness arm movement. The study data was collected from June to August 2010. The kinematic data were measured using Vicon motion system 6MX3 cameras while each subjects walked through a 10m walkway. There were significant differences according arm movement type in the kinematic parameters such as range of motion (ROM) of the right pelvic, hip in sagittal plane, and ROM of the pelvic, hip, lumbar in coronal plane and ROM of the pelvic, thoracic, lumbar in transverse plane. This study can be utilized as the basic reference data in gait analysis for patients with pathologic gaits.
The Association of Self-esteem and Social support with Depressive symptoms in College Students

The purpose of this study was to estimate self-esteem, social support and depressive symptoms among college students, as well as to reveal its related factors. The self-administered questionnaire was filled out by 471 students from university located in Daejon city and Chungnam during two weeks from April 23, 2013. As a results, lower the self-esteem is, the depression level comes out to be higher. Also weaker social support is the factor to give rise to depression. Self-esteem and social support showed negative correlation with depression. Social support showed positive correlation with self-esteem. According to hierarchical multiple regression analysis, following factors influence depression level with explanatory powers of 23.8%: sex, age, stress for body shape, perceived economical status, studying time, self-esteem, and social support. In the conclusion, this result imply that depression level of college students is closely related to self-esteem and social support. Especially, social support showed higher correlation with depression.
Evaluation of validity of three dimensional dental digital model made from blue LED dental scanner

The objectives of this study was to evaluate the validity of 3D digital models made from blue LED dental scanner. Twenty same cases of stone models and 3d digital models were manufactured for this study. Intercanine distance, intermolar distance, two dental arch lengths(right, left) and two diagonal of dental arch lengths(right, left) were measured for evaluation of validity. The nonparametric Wilcoxon rank sum test was used for statistical analysis (
=0.05). Although stone models showed larger than digital models in all measured distances(p<0.05), none exceeded the clinically acceptable range.
Analysis on Satisfaction of Nursing Services for Elderly hospitalized in Attended Ward and General Ward

This study is to provide basic data for the improvement of nursing services. A survey was done of 135 patients over the age of 65 in a general ward and an attended ward of a hospital in Seoul from December 5 to December 31, 2014 in order to assess their satisfaction with the nursing services. It was found that appropriately staffed nursing services as in attended wards showed greater patients' satisfaction than ordinarily staffed nursing services in general wards(t=3.45, p=.001). Significantly higher satisfaction levels were shown with the nursing services of the attended wards in the subcategories: professional technic(t=2.96, p=.004), training(t=.30, p=.001), and confidence(t=3.79, p<.001). Among the subcategories, confidence was the highest satisfaction factor followed by professional technic and education. The results suggest the need of securing an appropriate number of nursing staff in a ward to enhance patients' satisfaction.
The Influential Factors on Premenstrual Syndrome College Female Students

This study was conducted to figure out the influential factors on premenstrual syndrome(PMS) of college female students which are to be utilized as the basic data to develop and apply programs for preventing and controlling such symptom. The subjects were 330 college female students. The data were collected from April 2, 2012 to April 6, 2012. From the results, There has been significant correlation between stress and PMS(r=.36, p<.001) and the attitude to menstruation has appeared to have significant positive correlation with PMS as well(r=.34, p<.001). Multiple regression analysis has been employed to identify the influential factors on PMS and the result has shown that menstrual attitude, grade point average for stress, smoking and dysmenorrhea have been the most significant influential factors with 27% of explanatory power. The level of significance has been high in menstrual attitude(
=.28, p<.001), grade point average for stress(
=.27, p<.001), smoking(
=.20, p<.001) and dysmenorrhea(
=.15, p<.001) respectively. In conclusion, it needs to find nursing interventions for PMS related to psychosocial factors and suggest a narrative study for improving quality of life of women with PMS.
Development and Application of Integrated Nursing Practice Program preceded Role-play related to Clinical Communication Situation

For this study, we developed and applied the integrated nursing practice program preceded role-play related to clinical communication situation to 115 nursing students and compared their communication ability, clinical competence and problem solving process scores between before and after the program. Integrated nursing practice program is composed of 6 role-play scenarios related to clinical communication situation, 3 role-play scenarios related to clinical situation and 3 core nursing skill practices. This program was conducted 4 hours a week for 8 weeks. Data were collected using self-report questionnaire before and after the program from March to June, 2013 and analyzed using descriptive analysis and t-test with SPSS/WIN 19.0. There were significant increase in communication ability, clinical competence and problem solving process scores after the program. These results indicate that this program is effective nursing practice education method. Therefore, this program would be used for other students.
Effects of EAI and VAS on perceptual judgement and confidence rating by listeners for voice disorders

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of 7-point interval scale(EAI) and visual analogue scale(VAS) on perceptual judgement and the reliability of severity on voice problems by dysphonic speakers. 30 undergraduate students studying communication disorder were enrolled in the perceptual evaluation. Those listeners judged overall voice severity within the anchored(condition 1) and non-anchored scales(condition 2) for vowel prolongation and reading tasks by 25 speakers with voice disorder. The results of this study showed that the scores by VAS was significantly higher than EAI in both condition 1 and condition 2 for vowel prolongation and reading task. However, the scores by EAI method was higher than by VAS method on voice severity of vowel prolongation (condition 1) and reading task(condition 2). These results suggest auditory-perceptual scaling procedures must be more studied in the aspects of clinical application of voice disorder.
Correlation Study of Nutrient Intake and Oral Health Status -Based on the 5th primitive data of Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey-

This study investigated the correlation of three indexes such as DI, DMFT, DMFI which implemented by an article of a dental inspection inquiry in materials and nutrient amount of intake based on the 5th primitive data of objective national health nutrition survey. The results showed the DMFT decreased as the intake of fat and riboflavin increased, And the DMFT also increased as the intake of crude fiber and niacin increased, In addition, as the intake of food increased, DMFI also increased in a relationship of influence with DMFI. As the intake of crude fiber, sodium, potassium, niacin increased, decay also increased. On the other hand, as the intake of moisture, fat, phosphorus and riboflavin increased, the DMFI decreased.
Effects of a Health Promotion Program on College Students Who are on the Brink of Dyslipidemia, Based on Cox's Interaction Model

This experimental research is aimed to apply a health promotion program based on Cox's interaction model to such college students as are on the brink of dyslipidemia, so as to investigate the effects of the program on the subjects' blood lipid indexes including total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and low-density lipoproteins (LDL). The subjects are 39 in all including the experimental group comprising 20 and the control group comprising 19. The analyses applied include descriptive statistics using SPSS WIN 18.0,
-test, independent t-test, and paired t-test. By means of nursing interventions which are an element of client-professional interaction, the following were offered including health information (exercise management, dietary management, health education), emotional support (sharing of experiences, encouragement, self expression), decision-making controlling (counselling by phone), and professional/ technical abilities; and blood lipid indexes were measured before and after the interventions. The results of this research found that TC, TG and LDL decreased significantly and HDL increased significantly in the experimental group, which indicates that the health promotion program was effective.
An effect of using internet health information of University students according to their internal and external health control

It's now time for adopting u-Health according to development of internet. It is judged that it needs to research on effect of using internet health information targeting University students who are the most sensitive of internet health information. So we analyzed effect of using internet health information according to internal and external health control materials with 300 University students. As a result, If a rate of investment to the health is high, an effect of internet health information also increases as B=.004, rate of internal health control is high, it decreases as B=-.027 and rate of external health control is high, it increases as B=.037. For a University student who has steady faith about health and can control their internal health more easily, the effect of using internet health information has decreased. And for a University student who has high inclination of external dependence about health and can control their external health more easily, the effect of using internet health information has increased. So it needs to raise credibility, accuracy and accessibility of internet health information.
DUAL BAND SLOT COUPLED MULTIPLE PATCH ANTENNA WITH BROAD BANDWIDTH AND HIGH DIRECTIVITY FOR WIRELESS ACCESS POINT

We implemented a dual-band slot-coupled patch (SCP) antenna for the external access point (AP) of the wireless local area network (WLAN) band. The antennas consist of two radiators on three layers. The first radiator is a slotted bow tie antenna operating at the 2.4-2.483 GHz band. The second radiator is a patch antenna with parasitic elements operating at 4.095-5.845 GHz. The high gain and broad bandwidth is important element of wireless access. To enhance the bandwidth, a coupled feeding was used in the first radiator and a parasitic patch was used in the second radiator. We used a parasitic patch and chock to improve the directivity and isolation in both radiators. The porposed antenna was designed by EM simulation tool and measured. The S11 of the antenna was less than -11dB (VSWR 1.8:1) at operating frequency. The peak gain was more than 6 dBi in the first antenna and more than 8 dBi in the second antenna.
The Study on Advanced Frequency Up Converter

This paper suggests a power level controllable frequency up-converter which is designed and fabricated using both the filtering technology consisted with only passive devices and a multi-level digital attenuator. The suggested frequency up-converter simultaneously realizes the low power consumption and the low cost model. Because of the possibility for controlling power levels, it is possible to use the suggested frequency up-converter for wide spectral range. According to the experimental results, the average gain value of 0.75dB is obtained for the bandwidth of 160MHz at the center frequency of 1,200MHz. Especially, it is confirmed that the power level can be controlled from 10 to -21.5dBm through the digital attenuator.

The FTP that provides file transfer capabilities to/from another station cannot provides data confidentialities. The FTPS and SFTP can support a security functionalities. The FTPS needs a SSL layer and SFTP use a functions of SSH. And therefore the FTPS or SFTP needs an additional modules such as SSL or SSH. In this paper, we propose a new Secured FTP protocol that can support the security functions without extra security system. The Secured FTP uses Diffie-Hellman key agreement algorithm for shared secret key generation and AES-Counter algorithm for data encryption algorithm. Our designed Secured FTP is implemented in Linux environments and the proper operations of implemented Secured FTP is verified.
Goldschmidt's Double Precision Floating Point Reciprocal Computation using 32 bit multiplier

Modern graphic processors, multimedia processors and audio processors mostly use floating-point number. Meanwhile, high-level language such as C and Java uses both single-precision and double precision floating-point number. In this paper, an algorithm which computes the reciprocal of double precision floating-point number using a 32 bit multiplier is proposed. It divides the mantissa of double precision floating-point number to upper part and lower part, and calculates the reciprocal of the upper part with Goldschmidt's algorithm, and computes the reciprocal of double precision floating-point number with calculated upper part reciprocal as the initial value is proposed. Since the number of multiplications performed by the proposed algorithm is dependent on the mantissa of floating-point number, the average number of multiplications per an operation is derived from some reciprocal tables with varying sizes.
Power Monitoring System with Multiple Input Channels Using the Definition of IEEE Standard 1459-2010

This paper develops power measurement system with multiple sensor input channels (voltage-8 channels and current-10 channels) that simultaneously can monitor power components for both supply and load side of power system. The hardware implementation of the proposed system is based on TMS320C42 DSP and signal processing program algorithm to calculate power components use the definition of IEEE Standard 1459-2010 related power quality. The performance of the developed system is tested by using standard ac power source device, and the test results showed that accuracy of the developed system is less than 0.2 %. Also, field test of the proposed system in the three-phase and four-wire power system was implemented. Simultaneous multiple channel measurement and analysis of power components in commercial and industrial electrical power system using the proposed system will be necessary to reduce power quality problems.
Analysis of a Dipole Antenna Using Maxwell-SCHRÖDINGER Equation

We present a quantitative analysis of a dipole antenna and its characteristics from the viewpoint of quantum mechanics. The method makes use of a Maxwell equation used in an existing antenna propagation formula. This includes radiation resistance, input reactance, and antenna efficiency as functions of frequency and antenna length. Particular attention is paid to the Schr
odinger equation. We accomplish E-field and H-field analyses of a dipole antenna by combining the Maxwell and Schr
odinger wave equations. When comparing the existing Maxwell wave equation with the Schr
odinger wave equation, quantum-electric movement is more accurate than using the Maxwell wave equation alone.
A Study on the Characteristic of Energy Harvesting Mechanism for Batteryless Wireless Switch

Wireless emergency call switch used in industry, the most important thing is the sustainable power supply. This paper describes the development and performance test results of a compact electromagnetic energy harvesting mechanism for batteryless wireless switch. This paper summarizes proposed structure design and magnetic field analysis results of the mechanism to generate an induced electromotive force using 2mm stroke of a single push action. This analysis results show the power output of the proposed mechanism up to VDC
and it can hold up to 65ms of the power generation with greater than 2.5V.
Detection Mechanism against Code Re-use Attack in Stack region

Vulnerabilities related to memory have been known as major threats to the security of a computer system. Actually, the number of attacks using memory vulnerability has been increased. Accordingly, various memory protection mechanisms have been studied and implemented on operating system while new attack techniques bypassing the protection systems have been developed. Especially, buffer overflow attacks have been developed as Return-Oriented Programing(ROP) and Jump-Oriented Programming(JOP) called Code Re-used attack to bypass the memory protection mechanism. Thus, in this paper, I analyzed code re-use attack techniques emerged recently among attacks related to memory, as well as analyzed various detection mechanisms proposed previously. Based on the results of the analyses, a mechanism that could detect various code re-use attacks on a binary level was proposed. In addition, it was verified through experiments that the proposed mechanism could detect code re-use attacks effectively.

In many communication systems, intersymbol interference, DC and impulsive noise are hard-to-solve problems. For the purpose of cancelling such interferences, the concept of lagged cross-correlation of probability has been used for blind equalization. However, this algorithm has a large burden of computation. In this paper, a recursive method of the algorithm based on the lagged probability correlation is proposed. The summation operation in the calculation of gradient of the cost is transformed into a recursive gradient calculation. The recursive method shows to reduce the high computational complexity of the algorithm from O(NM) to O(M) for M symbols and N block data having advantages in implementation while keeping the robustness against those interferences. From the results of the simulation, the proposed method yields the same learning performance with reduced computation complexity.
Design of a Size-reduced Ring Hybrid Coupler Using an Artificial Dielectric Substrate

This paper describes the design of a size-reduced ring hybrid coupler for microwave band using an artificial dielectric substrate(ADS). ADS structure adopts the second substrate on which has lots of the metalized via-holes. The effective capacitance and effective dielectric constant per unit length of ADS increases compared to the normal substrate due to the via-holes. This enables the physical length of microstrip transmission line to be reduced by adopting ADS instead of the normal substrate. In order to present an example of size-reduction of microwave wireless circuit by ADS, a size-reduced 3GHz ring hybrid coupler is designed, fabricated and measured in this work. The designed coupler has the smaller size from the normal one by 65% due to the ADS, while no critical degradation from ideal performances is observed. The measured power division ratio at two output ports are -3.05dB and -3.135dB, respectively. In addition, the phase differences are 3o for in-phase division and 176o for out of phase split. The measured performances are so similar to ideal ones, and prove the design of size-reduced ring hybrid coupler using ADS is successful.
The Analysis of Subcontracting Trade in the IT Industry located in Gyeonggi-Do

This paper investigates the determinants for the controlling power and the concentration of the subcontracting trade between the downstream producer and the upstream supplier using a survey data for the IT industry in Gyeonggi-Do. The estimation results of the ordered logit and least square analyses are as follows. First, a firm. s controlling power across the downstream producer and the upstream supplier in the subcontracting trade would grow bigger when the company is bigger, more manufacture-oriented, and has higher ratio of export in sales. Second, the analysis for the upstream suppliers indicates that the higher dependent ratio of the subcontracting trade in the sales, the lower the concentration ratio of the R&D in the sales. Lastly, the analysis of the downstream producers indicates that the higher the dependent ratio of the subcontracting trade in the sales, the higher the concentration ratio of the R&D in the sales, which is distinctively contrast with the analysis result of the upstream suppliers. The overall estimation results are, hence, unsupporting to the transaction cost theory which predicts the increase of R&D investments in both downstream producer and upstream supplier.

Children in schoolzone accidents occur frequently in order to actively respond to the situation on the module for automated recognition research. By the vehicle penetration such like schoolzone, child object recognition, and GPS coordination information, the monitoring scenario can be constructed, and if an event occurs corresponding to strategic scenario so that suitable reaction can be provided to increase safety level to the schoolzone. In this paper, a GPS sensor and the image sensor and the monitoring server on the network based on the integration of context-aware methods have been studied. The image sensor section and the GPS section through analysis of the situation analysis and recognition of the object based on the scenario can actively cope with the situation according to the methods proposed.

In this paper, we have established the procedures for
emission estimation BIM libraries by using the material takeoff function that BIM tools fundamentally provide, and verified its availability by applying to steel structures. The BIM library set-up procedures were made up of
emission coefficients and parameter extraction, project unit setting, parameter setting, and
emission quantity calculation formula set-up. We used Revit Architecture 2013 as BIM tool, and established the steel members' family libraries as BIM libraries. It is possible to calculate the
emission quantity by following the proposed BIM library set-up procedures, and users have only to input the
emission coefficients and unit weights of steel members being used. We expect that the results contribute to practical use of BIM in field, and vitalizations of the eco-friendly construction.

In the early 1920s Japan, a new concept of architecture emerged abruptly. Comprised of six new college graduates, Japanese Secessionist Architects, so called Bunriha Kenchikukai, proclaimed that they reject any historical baggage that Japan had so far inherited, and decided to build a brand new way for modern Japanese architecture. Their modernism differed from eclectic measurement done by earlier generations. For them, contemporary modern Japanese architecture was only copious to historic monuments of Western civilization. Bunriha architects' statement not only advocates an escape from nationalist historicism and Westernization, but also intends to resolve the dilemma in that it substitutes a technical syncretism inherent in all avant-garde movements. This paper intends to elucidate that Japanese Secessionist architecture is greatly indebted to German Expressionist architecture in terms of its formal language and avant-garde utopian idealism.

It is essential to effectively manage facilities because operating and maintenance cost for them accounts for more than 83% of lifecycle cost. This study developed BIM Object-based classification list to manage information required to operating and maintenance phase of them from design and construction phase. In order to develop this classification list, Construction Information Classification System, Design Criteria for Architectural Electrical Installations, commodity list classification of PPS(Public Procurement Service) were analyzed. and problems for consisting of object classification list were drawn. And each materials is classified that drawings discipline code (KSF 1540:2010 (Principle and criteria for CAD Drawing) was classified as level 1 to cover main areas and construction information classification system was classified as level 2 to cover elements also UNSPSC was classified as level 3 to cover objects for devices and equipments. this classification criteria was given code. This study is expected to be useful to exchange and share information in operating and maintenance phase by offering object point of view classification in design and construction phase. besides, it is looking forward to effective operating and maintenance of facilities by enabling management of devices and equipments by function, space, use.
Properties of Components for the Dapogye of Hipped and Gable Roof Wooden Buildings

This study has its purposes on analyzing specific features of the elements according to scales of 32 main buddhist sancta among wooden temples with gable roof that are nationally designated as cultural assets, and analyzing influences and proportional relations between main and submaterials, so that it could be basic and objective data for restore and repair cultural assets in the future. Results of the study are following. First of all, the average plane proportion of doritong (facade) and yangtong (side) in 3-room building is about 1.31:1, while it is 1.70:1 in 5-room building. Secondly, as a result of analyzing the locational proportion and thickness of pillars at each location, floor room turned out to have wider space between pillars than that of edge room or side room in both cases of 3 and 5-room buildings. In the mean time, for the average thickness of the pillars in 3-room building, it was 491mm for corner pillars, 433mm for general pillars in cases of 3-room building, while it was 595 and 511mm respectively in cases of 5-room building. The reason why corner pillars are 60~80mm thicker than general ones in average, is determined to considered structural stability and optical illusion. For the third, as a result of analyzing the influences on pillar thickness, eaves projection and eaves height according to the scale(dimension) of buildings, 3-room buildings have outstanding correlation as its scale(dimension) goes bigger, while 5-room ones are not very much influenced by its scale(dimension). For the fourth, as a result of the relation between pillars and eaves, both of 3 and 5-room buildings have longer-projected and higher eaves as their pillars go taller; especially height of eaves turns out to have very close relation between length of pillars. In addition to that, both of 3 and 5-room buildings have much projected eaves as the eaves go higher.

Development of Automated Model of Tree Extraction Using Aerial LIDAR Data

Currently, increase of greenhouse gas has had a signigicant impact on climate change in urbanization. As a result, the government has been looking for ways to take advantage of the trees that generate oxygen and reduce carbon dioxide for the prevention of climate change. It is essential to extract individual tree for calculating the amount of carbon dioxide reduction of trees. Aerial LIDAR data have three-dimensional information of building as well as trees as form of point clouds. In this study, automated model was developed to extract individual tree using aerial LIDAR data. For this purpose, we established a methodology for extracting trees and then proceeded the process of developing it as an automated model based on model builder of ArcGIS Software. In order to evaluate the applicability of the developed model, the model was compared with commercial software in study area located in Yongin City. Through the experimental result, the proposed model was extract trees 9.91% higher than commercial software. From this results, it was found that the model effectively extracted trees.
Analysis of the Spatial Structure of Kazuyo Sejima & Ryue Nishizawa's House Designs

This paper analyzes the house designs of Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa from the 1900s to the early 2000s' works. By analyzing the degree of space integration of each house using the Convex Map of the Space Syntax Theory, this study arrived at the following conclusions in the respects of private space and public space. First, from period 1 (the 1990s) to period 2 (the first half of the 2000s), the differences between average integration values of private space and public space in their works have decreased. Over time, in general, average integration values of private space have increased, and, on the other hand, those of public space have decreased, leading to smaller differences between two sets of values, which means that, as the integration degrees of private and public spaces have become similar, the boundary which divides spaces becomes blurry. Second, in terms of private space, average integration values of private space in S-3 (House in a Plum Grove) and S-4 (House in China), works of period 2, are the highest among those values of their all 10 works. We can identify that, closure degrees of private space in their works have fallen over time. Third, in terms of public space, average integration values of I-2 (Villa in the Forest), I-5 (S-House), and I-6 (Weekend House), works of period 1, are the highest among those values of their all 10 works. Public space has become more central and open from period 1 to period 2.
Schematic Regeneration Strategy of Old Downtown, Myeongdong, in Cheonan

After 1970-80's rapid economic and urban development, nowadays the old downtown suffers from the deterioration of physical environment, outflow of its function and cavitation of population. And this phenomenon makes urban regeneration as a new paradigm in urban development. This is the case of Myeongdong area (Jungang-dong, Monsung-dong), old downtown of Cheonan around rail station, in the same way. City government has tried many regeneration/ redevelopment projects on this area but all failed due to lack of feasibility. This study intends to suggest new viable strategic regeneration scheme of this area through research and analysis of TOD development, existing condition and problems. As a result, the area needs to be considered as a node that links bus terminal complex and central market place with walkable street. For regeneration of this area, a strategic development scheme of this area is suggested deploying private capital invested rail station, underground shopping mall, transfer center, culture complex and nature park with Myeongdong street mall.
Impact of individual traits, urban character and urban form on selecting cars as transportation mode for work travel

This study aims to draw a correlation in the choice of automobiles as the preferred mode of personal transport in relation to three factors: 5Ds, urban form and individual-level characteristics. The analysis result shows that the control at the individual level is required to analyze effective urban character and urban form elements to decrease the car choice and the 5Ds demonstrate meaningful relation to decreasing the car choice. However, it may be concluded that the density and the diversity, well-known elements in decreasing the car choice among Western cities do not show relatively large impact on Korean cities.
Flexural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Beams Considering Steel Corrosion

This paper presents experimental and analytical research results to predict nonlinear flexural behavior of corroded reinforced concrete beams. For this purpose, a series of test and an analytical simulation using the Maaddawy's model were carried. Test specimens of total 12 RC beams were placed in accelerated corrosion status using salt water spray test chamber for 5 months and 10 months, after they were preloaded up to 30% and 60% of the maximum load corresponding to nominal flexural strength. The test results showed that flexural strength and ductility decreased to 5.4% and 43% at the most respectively due to breakdown of bond at the steel-concrete interface. Comparative study between the analytical predictions and the experimental results showed that the Maaddawy's model can be applied to predict a real corroded RC flexural members.
Influence of Housing Market Changes on Construction Company Insolvency

The construction industry has strong ties with other industries, and so construction company insolvency also has a strong influence on other industries. Prediction models addressing the insolvency of construction company have been well studied. Although factors contributing to insolvency must precede those of predictions of insolvency, studies on these contributing factors are limited. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of changes in the housing market on construction company insolvency by using the Vector Error Correction Model. Construction companies were divided into two groups, and the expected default frequency(EDF), which indicates insolvency of each company was measured through the KMV model. The results verified that 10 largest construction companies were in a better financial condition compared to relatively smaller construction companies. As a result of conducting impulse response analysis, the EDF of large companies was found to be more sensitive to housing market change than that of small- and medium-sized construction companies.
Determination of CSOs Treatment Capacity considering the Pollution Load

Many researches has been conducted as extreme rainfall in hydrology and extreme rainfall analysis is not proper for determination of CSOs treatment capacity. In this study, runoff is calculated by tranformation from rainfall to runoff according to Interevent Time Definition. The capacity of sewage treatment plant is designed by 3 times of DWF(Dry Weather Flow) and the efficiency of present sewage treatment plant is very low becauseat at present. Also, The sewage treatment plant can not control CSOs. In this research, the pollution load is calculated by EMC(Event Mean Concentration) and pollution concetration of total runoff is a standard deciding suitablility of present sewage treatment plant. Finally, CSOs treatment capacity is determinated considering pollution load.

Total chl-a concentration were high at the zone I, which can be characterized as a semi-enclosed eutrophic area, and it were low at the zone III, which is influenced by low nutrients of surface warm water current from offshore of the bay. The high concentration of COD was observed at inner bay during the four seasons and the water quality level was kept to be bad condition during spring season at the zone II, which is influenced by Seomjin River water. The highest colony form of E. coli was recorded to be 3550
during summer at station 1 (zone I), whereas it was relatively kept low level during all seasons at the zone III. As a result, the E. coli was correlated with water temperature (r=0.31 p<0.05) and salinity (r=-0.55 p<0.05), implying that those parameters have play an important crucial role in proliferation of E. coli. Consequently, our results indicated that the E. coli can be significantly promoted within pollutant sources including the high nutrients supplied by rive discharge during spring and summer rainy seasons in semi-enclosed area of Gwangyang Bay.

Developent of a new technique removing paint from recycled car-bumper

In order to recycle the waste bumper, techniques removing coated paint on a bumper is crucial. Chemical methods are known to be much more effective in removing the paint compared to physical methods. However, the chemical methods generally use toxic solvents and consequently cause environmental pollution. In this study, we tested a new method which combines the chemical and physical method to reduce the amount of solvent and increase the paint removal efficiency. We found that mechanical stirring increases the paint removal efficiency in soaking stage of solvent. When solid particles as a stress transfer media are incorporated into the solvent and high mechanical stirring is applied, the paint removal efficiency is very high. It was proved that the combined method can accomplish high level of the paint removal efficiency maintaining low amount of solvent consumed.
A Study on the Volatile Change of Essential Oils Addition on to the Vegetable Fatty Acid Hard Soap

In the saponification to manufacture plant fatty acid hard soap, the drying process is required for its water evaporation and hardness. This study mixed it with essential oil(E.O) with high volatility instead of adding synthetic flavor. And it comparatively observed the duration of flavor changing to the additive (
) and the drying period of the major flavor component (Linalool, Linalyl acetate) in the essential oil (Lavender E.O) contained in the soap during the soap manufacture by using GC-MS. For the sunscreen development from natural resources, a possible usage of microalgal extracts or mycosporine-like amino acids (MAAs) was investigated. Sunscreens containing 7% of microalgal extracts or MAAs derived from microalgae, Chlamydomonas hedleyi, were prepared and they were applied to human research. Through this clinical research, the values of Sun Protection Factors, Sun Protector Factor (SPF) and Protection Factor of UVA (PFA), of sunscreen containing microalgal extracts or MAAs were determined: SPF values of microalgal extracts and MAAs indicated 9.07 and 9.42, respectively, while PFA ones did 2.43 and 2.41. Due to more than 2 of PFA value in both sunscreens, they can be classified into [PA+]. Taken together, although sunscreen containing microalgae-derived extracts or MAAs does not effectively protect UV irradiation, its capacity can be satisfied if inorganic UV-protecting compounds are added.
Equilibrium Kinetics and Thermodynamic Parameters Studies for Eosin Yellow Adsorption by Activated Carbon

Eosin yellow is used a dye and colorant but it is harmful toxic substance. In this paper, batch adsorption studies were carried out for equilibrium, kinetics and thermodynamic parameters for eosin yellow adsorption by activated carbon with varying the operating variables like pH, initial concentration, contact time. Equilibrium adsorption data were fitted into Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherms. By estimated Langmuir constant value,
=0.067-0.083, and Freundlich constant value,
, this process could be employed as effective treatment for removal of eosin yellow. From calculated Temkin constant, value, B=1.868-2.855 J/mol, and Dubinin-Radushkevich constant, value, E=5.345-5.735 kJ/mol, this adsorption process is physical adsorption. From kinetic experiments, the adsorption process were found to confirm to the pseudo second order model with good correlation coefficient(
=0.995-0.998). The mechanism of the adsorption process was determined two step like as boundary and intraparticle diffusion.
A comparative study on the simulation of single-stage and multi-stage refrigeration cycle using propane as a refrigerant

In this study, comparison works have been performed for single-stage and multi-stage refrigeration cycle using propane as a refrigerant in order to cool down the natural gas stream. A comparative analysis has been performed for a single, two, three and four stage refrigeration cycle using propane as a refrigerant for cooling the natural gas stream. For the simulation, natural gas feedstock properties supplied by KOGAS were utilized and Peng-Robinson equation of state model was used. As the number of compression stages increase, the condenser heat duty is decreased. The refrigeration heat duty for a four-stage refrigeration cycle is decreased by 20.36% compared to that for a single-stage refrigeration cycle. Moreover, the total refrigerant circulation rate for a four-stage refrigeration system is was reduced by 14.53% compared to the single stage refrigeration cycle. The total compression power for a four-stage compression was reduced by 41.61% compared to the single stage compression.

The purpose of this study is small scale coagulation module is developed and demonstrated through a lab-scale test. Recent as a sewage treatment rate increases, have heightened the interest in the necessity on the nonpoint source and developing a small processing unit has been increased. Coagulation sedimentation module in this study is additional growth of floc through swirling in the outside zone, reduction of microstructure floc number and the internal settling zone through vertical/level flow complex sedimentation method after the coagulation process precipitation method as an effective high separation efficiency can be divided was also assessed. Coagulation sedimentation module can increase the load factor was 4.4 times compared to conventional clarifier base on the same volume and surface area through vertical/level flow. In this study, this process was selected formation and maintenance of swirling and uniform flow distribution in the internal settling zone as an important design factor, to derive its FLUENT was used to characteristics of the flow model. Distributional characteristics of phytoplankton and nutrient limitation during spring season in Jinhae Bay

We investigated to assess the relationships between the major nutrients and phytoplankton dynamics during the spring season in 2010 and 2011 at 23 stations in Jinhae Bay, Korea. The bay is divided into four different zones based on pollutant sources and geographical characteristics. Nutrient limitation (>80%) was significant in Zone II, which is located in central bay and is influenced by the water well mixed from outer bay. The limited nutrient was followed in Zone III and IV that was occupying between 17% and 83%. However, the low levels are being kept below 35% in Zone I, which is characterized by the semi-enclosed eutrophic area of Masan and Haegam bays. Based on the PCA (principle component analysis) analysis, the nitrogen (N) sources in 2010 were particularly dominant and it may be due to the water mixing and wastewater formed from bottom layers and sewage. In 2011, major nutrients including nitrogen, silicon and phosphorus were dominant in the bay and are supplied by the river discharge after rainfalls with low salinity conditions. In particular, the N nutrients being supplied in 2010 are correlated with pennate diatoms Pseudo-nitzchia spp. and is not related to the phytoplankton population densities in 2011. The present study suggests that N sources play an important role in the proliferation of diatom, and the rapid nutrient uptakes by them are potential nutrient limitation factors in the bay.
Study on compatibility of cellulose ester/poly(ethylene-co-isosorbide terephthalate) solution blends

Recently, Importance of studying based on biomass materials have increased due to the concern about plastic waste problems. Cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) is a potential alternative to petroleum-based plastics because of its biodegradable property. Poly(ethylene-co-isosorbide terephthalate) (PEIT) is bio-based plastic, produced by isosorbide monomer. In this study, CAB/PEIT blends were prepared by solution blending to improve thermal stability of CAB. CAB and PEIT were dissolved in chloroform, and then precipitated in ethanol. To evaluate the compatibility of CAB/PEIT blends, the morphology and glass transition behaviors were analyzed by FE-SEM and DMA, respectively. TGA results revealed the improved thermal stabilities of the PEIT-rich and 50:50 compositions. No new or changed crystal structures were observed in the XRD result. Finally, CAB/PEIT solution blends showed good compatibility in overall compositions.
