forming of High Density Bevel Gear for Industrial Machinery

This study is concerned with the cold forging of sintered preform by rotary forging process and direct powder compacting process. An experiment has been carried out using the rotary powder forging press (500kN) which had been designed and equipped with the rotational conical die inclined to the central axis of the press at certain angle The effect of process variables was observed and measured by several mechanical test, such as hardness distribution density, and microstructure of the specimens. It is found that the highly densified P/M parts can be obtained and this process is very effective for improving quality of the powder products.
Thermal Analysis of Continuous Casting Welding-Coated Mold

This study is object to thermal analysis of continuous casting welding-coated mold. A two-dimen-sional transient finite element model was developed to compute the temperature distribution for continuous casting welding-coated mold. For thermal analysis using analysis result from FEM code. This thermal analysis results, many variables such as casting speed, cooling condition, film coefficient, convection and load condition are considered.
The Configuration Design of Industrial Sewing Machine Kinematic Mechanism with Expert System

The configuration design of kinematic mechanisms of industrial sewing machine has been studied using a functional approach. The configuration design methodology has been applied to shorten the development cycle time of mechanisms and to manage design data efficiently Expert system has been used to embody the decomposition of functional requirements. It has been interfaced with a CAD system through the API program to show the assembly and parts of the mechanism. Constraints also can be handled by the expert system through the rule induction and the case based reasoning process. The configuration design system includes the kinematical analysis and optimization of the mechanisms of an industrial sewing machine by the interface between the expert system and an analysis program by means of API Program supplied by expert system. The conceptual design of sewing machine mechanism can be Performed rapidly and efficiently.

Machine tool (Mother machine) is the basis of industrial development and it largely has an effect on the quality improvement and Productivity improvement of machinery products because it demands high technical abilities such as design, machining. control and assembling which reflect the technical level of a country. The Metacomputing System for CFD Program Developer

Metacomputing system is the environment, which helps the users easily and promptly deal with their jobs. with integration of the distributed computing resources and visualization device. In this research, we have developed a prototype of a special-purpose metacomputing system for simulation in CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) field. This system supports the automatic remote compilation, transparent data distribution, the selection of appropriate computing resource, and the realtime visualization. This research can be summarized as following: a study on selecting resource and the integration of component systems. In the research of selecting computing resource, we use the property of CFD algorithm. In the research of realtime visualization. we modify a popular visualizer.
A Study on the Low Noise Medical SMPS

The main noise sources in SMPS are divided into three parts: the switching devices, the rectifiers in secondary part, the output transformer and choke coil. In this paper we performed the noise analysis with respect to bobbin type and winding method, and designed an optimized transformer focusing on the transformer. For the comparison. we measured four parameters for each cases, including EMI conducted emission noise. signal from the switching devices, output ripple/noise voltage and leakage current. As the result, the transformer using a vertically-typed bobbin and a parallel, sandwich winding method showed the best performance. We confirmed that the SMPS developed in this research is satisfied with the IEC 601-1 international standard for the medical instrumentation. by testing its electrical characteristics and safety.

This study paper Presents several problems when networked virtual reality systems are implemented on commodity Internet : two problems related with 3D graphical Processing, and the other related with network bandwidth and transmission delay.
