Ion exchange behavior and property change of soda-lime-silicate glass by advanced ion exchange process were investigated. Refractive index, specific gravity and optical transmittance were changed similarly to
ion penetration depth, and amount of ion exchange increased with the increase of the time and temperature. Especially, thermal expansion decreased greatly because of the structural compaction and residual stress by ion exchange process.

A Design of an Intelligent Specialized Customer Module based on One to One Marketing

Various studies to increase customer satisfaction of a web based system are performed actively. Also in recent days an interest about the one-on-one marketing that supporting a customer viewpoint service was raised. The study that supporting the one-on-one marketing is required in a web based system. In this study, We designed the intelligent specialized customer module which supporting one-on-one marketing. The proposed system used a data mining technique as a target selling, a cross selling, and upselling so that supporting one-on-one marketing. Also, In experiment on prototype, we show a proposed system was usable in an actual Web base system applying the mining result based on the specialized customer module.

A printed antenna for WLAN applications

A printed folded-monopole antenna for portable wireless applications is presented. The proposed design is based on the folded quarter-wave antennas, which have a conductor plate having two arms. A prototype antenna is fabricated according to the simulation result. The obtained antenna can perform in 2.4GHz band and be adopted for laptop applications. All the measurements are performed in the actual test fixture.

Heat Transfer Analysis for
Micro Gas Sensor Fabricated by MEMS Technology

A flat type
micro gas sensor was fabricated by MEMS technology. In order to heat up gas sensing material such as
to a target temperature, a micro hotplate was built on the gas sensor. The temperature distribution of micro gas sensor was analyzed by a CFD program, FLUENT. The results showed that the temperature of silicon wafer base was almost similar to that of the room temperature, which indicates that the heat generated at the micro hotplate heated up effectively the sensing material and its thermal isolation was kept. The uniformity of temperature on the sensing material can be improved by modifying the shape of micro hotplate.

The aim of this study was to test the validity of the hypothesis that the karyotypes of four species of Lepilemuridae were formed spontaneously from their ancestral hybrid karyotype. Hypothetical ancestral haploid Karyotype of Lepilemuridae is composed of 18 autosomes and X chromosomes. Lepilemur mustelinus karyotype has four tandem fused chromosomes and one Robertsonian translocated chromosome pairs. Lepilemur septentrionalis septentrionalis karyotype has only two pairs of translocated chromosomes. We reconstruct and suggest ancestral karyotype of LMU(ancLMU) and LSS(ancLSS), from which all four studied species were derived. Hybrids of ancLMU and ancLSS were formed and produce differently fused equilibrated gametes via circular form arrangement during gametogenesis. Five unit of trivalent homologous chromosome pairs were engaged in a circular form to give new gamete corresponding to the karyotype of L. dorsalis, orientation of one unit of trivalent was inversed in the circle to gave new gamete corresponding to the karyotype of L. leucopus. Seven homologous chromosome pairs were engaged in circular form to give haploid karyotype of Lepilemur ruficaudatus. Only one homologous chromosome pair is dissociated and the other chromosome pairs rearranged in the circle to form haploid karyotype of Lepilemur edwardsi. The new gametes could be produced from these circular forms. When the new gamete fertilized with the same type of gamete, The new homozygote is produced as existing L. dorsalis, L. leucopus, L. edwardsi and L. ruficaudatus. These results support the theory that new species could be formed in hybrid population through activated chromosome fusion, chromosome rearrangement in circular from at zygotene stage and production of equilibrated gametes to form homozygote new species.
A Study on User Satisfaction of PDA in Postal Service

This study investigates the influential factors for the user's satisfaction in usage of PDA in Korea Postal Services. This is the case of user's acceptance of information technology that organization mandatorily implements for the sake of employee's productivity. The factors examined in this study include system quality, information quality, perceived usefulness, user satisfaction, and compatibility with work. All these factors were found significant for users satisfaction. Especially, we notice the close relationship between compatibility with work, perceived usefulness, and user satisfaction in case of nonvolitional IT usage.
Intuitionistic Fuzzy Circles

In this paper, we introduce the intuitionistic fuzzy circle with a pair of degree which are membership and nonmembership functions, and investigate the properties of them. And also we experiment with developing fuzzy geometry by limiting process of the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy circles which restricted the notion of fuzzy spheres in order to apply to 2-D image.
Efficiency of Management Education in Cyber Space

The new way of doing education in cyber space is not limited by time or locations. The students do not need to attend classroom physically on time. Networked computers allow students to study their subjects at any time and any where. This study tries to probe the relationships among demographic variables and instructional variables with students satisfaction in the management education. Pervious studies found out that the critical success factors of cyber educations are based on the demographic and instructional variables. The results of the study demonstrate that demographic variables are not significantly related with students satisfaction. Rather instructional variables such as personal interactions with professors, job related contents and careful reduction of difficulties countered during the class proceeding are more significantly related with learning satisfaction. The result shows the newly emerged internet based education system requires in-depth collaborations and coordination among professors, system engineers, education instrument designers, and students.
Separation of Organic Pollutants by Nondispersive Membrane-Solvent Extraction

Organic pollutants (Phenol, 2-Chlorophenol, Nitrobenzene) were separated from wastewater by nondispersive membrane solvent extraction, using a microporous hydrophobic hollow fiber module. The system was operated countercurrently and cocurrently with the aqueous phase flowing through the fiber lumens and the solvent flowing through the shell side. The distribution coefficients of several solvents (MIBK, IPAc, Hexane) were examined and MIBK was selected as an extracting solvent. Separation efficiency of countercurrent flow method was better than that of cocurrent flow method. Also, the overall mass transfer coefficients were determined.
Fabrication of micro structure mold using SLS Rapid Prototyping

By this time, a mold with nano size pattern was produced using a fabrication of X-ray lithography method and in a m icro size's case it was produced using fabrication of Deep UV lithography. In this paper, we produced mold with 400
depth pattern using a new technology of SLS(Selective Laser Sintering) Rapid Prototyping method. In addition to enhance strength and thermal stability, we produced Ni structure with a thickness of 300

Measuring Allocntive Performance by using DEA Model when price and cost data are available

Allocative efficiency measures the extents to which the technically efficient units falls shorts of achieving minimal cost. By using this measure manager can make decision about how to redistribute organizational resources to improve price efficiency. Allocative and overall efficiency are derived on the basis of budget line and cost minimization concept. The purpose of this study is to introduce the concept of allocative efficiency and propose two modified DEA models. Examples are provided to illustrate the similarities and the application procedure of the two model. By providing example and tracing the data application procedure, we found the same results but some cautions are needed to interpret the valuation.
