Effects of Dietary Astragalus Membranaces and Dried-Onion Meal on Growth Performance and Nutrient Digestibility in Pig Diets

Repellency test of aroma insect repellent against insect vectors

The pulp fabric impregnanted 100% natural insect repellent was evaluated in an environmental chamber (laboratory, mongsanpoo beach, taejo Mt, naksan and seolak beach) for their repellent efficacy against insects. The results showed significant average repellency of 91%, 78%, 90%, and 93% of laboratory, mongsanpoo beach, taejo Mt, naksan and seolak beach, respectively, during the 1hour of exposure period.

There are fatigue fractures at the practical area. The fatigue load happens non- constantly. As it is impossible to be predicted, it can not be known when the fracture happens. Non -constant fatigue load is simulated in this study. The stability and the life of the material are analyzed theoretically by the program of Ansys workbench. These results are greatly applied as the practical structures to predict the prevention of failure and the endurance.

Electronic Commerce Framework for Content Distribution on Mobile Environment

An electronic commerce model is proposed which distributes digital content in mobile environment. This model resolves the problems caused by various digital content and complex distribution structure. The online distribution systems under the wireless environment include many different factors from the conventional offline and wired networks. Furthermore, the multimedia content may be propagated more easily and illegally. The scheme to protect the rights and profits of people related to the copyrights of digital content is needed. In this paper a framework for electronic commerce of content distribution under the wireless environment based on MPEG-21 is proposed. This model can be applied to the digital rights management system and utilized to protect the rights of trading entities in online distribution of electronic commerce.
Syntactic Analysis and Keyword Expansion for Performance Enhancement of Information Retrieval System

Natural language query is the best user interface for the users of information retrieval systems. This paper Proposes a retrieval system with expanded keyword from syntactically-analyzed structures of user's natural language query based on natural language processing technique. Through the steps combining or splitting the compound nouns based on syntactic tree traversal, and expanding the other-formed or shorten-formed keyword into multiple keyword, the system performance was enhanced up to 11.3% precision and 4.7% correctness.
Development of Perforating Die for Manufacturing Fine Multi-perforated type Nail Files

0.5mm thick steel is used to manufacture nail files. The first process is blanking and the second process is making about 300 holes of 0.8-l.0mm in diameter. This process depends mainly on etching which takes 33% of manufacturing cost and it can make manufacturing cost rise. The residual etching reagent is not environmentally friendly and the steel material is apt to rust as well. To solve these problems, researches on the following subjects are performed: proper material to prevent from rusting and strip layout strategies in stamping to replace etching process with press process which makes use of die. And new quill type punch is developed to replace the regular standard punch, one of the die parts, which frequently get broken while working. And these researches and developments lead to develop a progressive perforating die.

Digital technologies have largely changed our way of life in a time-space traditional paradigm. Information Technology(IT) has become the most primary measurement in evaluation of social value. So the efficient education for IT has a big responsibility for the better living conditions. The importance of IT education continue to grow more and more. The intent of this work is to enforce the competitive power of IT education under open-education and to develop the special model of the practical IT curriculum for industry. The proposed curriculum is consisted of various modules which can be easily adapted to real world. So someone who finished IT curriculum can be re-educated the only necessary module with this developed model.
A study on H/W generator with randomness of output random stream

It is quite difficult to create an unbiased and stable random bit stream, as required for statistical randomness, when using a random generator with only a hardware component. In this paper, we studied to reduce the statistical property of the biased bit stream in the output of a real random number generator. The proposed scheme is enhanced the randomness of output bitstream, these test items are used by FIPS 140-1.

A Study of Semiconductor Process Simulator with User Friendly Framework

In this paper, we modeling the oxidation, diffusion, and ion-implantation for semiconductor process simulation, and construct the integrated framework for efficient execution and continuous process simulation. For oxidation process, to predict the accurate LOCOS shape and stress distributions, stress-dependent viscous model was performed using SVP algorithm. For diffusion process, predeposition and OED simulation was performed using point defect theory. For ion implantation, Monte-Carlo method based on TRIM simulation was performed with various process conditions. For input to each unit process, we used the dialog boxes which are windows application's standards. This dialog box allows us to verify and minimize input error at input steps. Using the combination of compiler's function and windows's API function, simulation was done with small memory size.
Simulation of Two-Dimensional Intervalley Scattering Rate in HEMT Device

In this paper the two-dimensional scattering rates were calculated in pseudomorphic Al/sub x//Ga/sub 1-x//As/Ga/sub y/In/sub l -y//As/GaAs heterostructure systems. The electronic states of the square quantum well were determined by the numerical self-consistent solution of Poisson's and Schrodinger's equations. The numerically obtained wave functions and energy levels were used to obtain the major two-dimensional scattering rates in this structure. Polar optical- and acoustic-phonon scattering, piezoelectric, ionized impurity and alloy scattering were considered for the first two sub-bands. The results were compared to the three-dimensional scattering rates also calculated in the same region.
A Study on Performance Analysis and Improvement Plan of Campus Network

In this paper, We collected the data of communication network construction in Sangmyeong University and analyzed them. Moreover using the analysis instrument of communication network traffic, We tested a process of it, and an efficiency of each equipment. We proved the traffic flow and the load quantity during the register for class. As a result We suggested a efficient communication network design - add and change some equipments in order to break up the traffic.
Production of Green Tea Extract-containing Chungkook-jang

This study was carried out to establish the manufacturing method of green tea extract-containing chungkook-jang. One strain showed the highest protease activity was isolated, and subsequently identified as Bacillus species. The strain was designated as Bacillus sp. B1, and applied to chungkook-jang fermentation. Green tea extract(TS 0.2%) was added to chungkook-jang fermentation in the quantities of 1.25%, 2.5% and 5%. Results of bacterial growth and sensory evaluation showed that chungkook-jang manufactured from addition of 1.25% quantity of peen tea extract (TS 0.2%) was most acceptable. In investigation of volatile compounds, addition of green tea extract was effective for repression of off-odor from chungkook-jang.
A Conceptual Study on a Method of Boron Powder Direct Vessel Injection

The integral reactor is tripped by the boron injection to the reactor when the CEA(Control element assembly) is not available due to its malfunction. In general, the borated water is made by dissolving the boron powder in the water and is stored in a tank. and then injected. But, this method is disadvantageous from the view point of construction cost, operation and maintenance because it has many components and is complicated. In this study, the boron powder direct vessel injection method is adopted to improve the system. Injecting the boron powder directly to the vessel and decreasing of number of components, the system configuration, operation and maintenance is simplified and the construction cost is reduced.
A Study on the I-V characteristics of a delta doped short-channel HEMT

In this thesis, an analytical model for Ⅰ-Ⅴ characteristics of an n-AlGaAs/GaAs Delta doped HEMT is proposed. 2-dimensional electron gas density, and conduction band edge profile are calculated from a self-consistent iterative solution of the Poisson equation. Parameters, e.g., the saturation velocity, 2-dimensional electron gas concentration, thickness of the doped and undoped layer(AlGaAs, GaAs, spacer etc.,) are in good agreement with the independent calculations.
A Study on the Policy Improvement of Quantitative Management Evaluation Index of Municipal Medical Institutes

The purpose of this study is to propose the policy improvements of management evaluation system of municipal medical institutes. Management evaluation system of municipal medical institutes has been carried out every each year. This makes a great improvement in management practices. But in some respects, management evaluation system of municipal medical institutes has some problems in mechanism and measures. To overcome these, appraisal measures should be composed to improve medical efficiency. If we want to reconcile two objects which require both profit and public service, more appropriate measures should be designed. In addition, we should make measures to promote people work hard. For this purpose, we should make sure a more theoretical and practical ground back to evaluate the effectiveness of management consulting.
