Content-based Image Retrieval using Variable Region Color

In this paper, we proposed a method of content-based image retrieval using variable region. Content-based image retrieval uses color histogram for the most part. But the existing color histogram methods have a disadvantage that it reduces accuracy because of quantization error and absence of spatial information. In order to overcome this, we convert color information to HSV space, quantize hue factor being pure color information, and calculate histogram of the factor. On the other hand, to solve the problem of the absence of spatial information, we select object region in consideration of color feature and region correlation. It maintains the size of region in the selected object region. But non-object region is integrated in one region. After of selection variable region, we retrieve using color feature. As the result of experimentation, the proposed method improves 10
in average of precision.
Controller for Gas Leakage Protection in Semiconductor Process Chamber

In this paper the gas leakage controller in processing chamber for semiconductor manufacturing is proposed. A pressure sensor is connected between the final valve and the numeric valve. A pressure sensor signal and a numeric valve signal are controlled by a proposed digital circuit module. Gas leakage condition, producing by 2nd plasticity in semiconductor process, display at LED. The proposed controller module is useful for monitoring the gas flow for preventing the critical process gas leakage.
Analysis of IP/WDM Traffic Engineering Model

Traffic engineering is a technology that guarantees quality of service that users want and maximize inflection degree of network resources at the same time as evenly distributing traffic to whole network. To improve performance of network at traffic and resources level, traffic engineering aims at utilizing network resource efficiently and effectively and must be satisfied performance requirement concerned with traffic. In this paper, two models to embody traffic engineering are analyzed and finally functional structure of IP/WDM traffic engineering is explained.
A Study on the Effects of Entry Barriers for the Stock Prices of Venture Businesses.

The purpose of this study is to test empirically the effects of Entry Barriers for the stock prices of Venture Business using the Ohlson Model which is modifying and extending in terms of growth and the potential growth energy. Because the traditional Ohlson model(1995) on which the firm's value is determined only based on abnormal earnings and book value have numerous limitations when we evaluate the value of venture Businesses with high technology and new emerging market. In order to overcome these limitations, We can introduce items of net sales growth ratios and industrial property-to-net asset ratios into as proxy variables of the growth and potential growth energy. In the process of analyzing these research tests, we have set three kinds of hypotheses and tested then empirically compared with KOSDAQ ordinary listing business and KOSDAQ venture businesses between long-term analysis and short-term analysis. According to the degree of concentration reflecting HHI index, our empirical research were performed in depth. Therefore, the results of this study show us that all three kinds of Hypotheses are accepted.
Effect of Die Machining Method on the Surface of Die Steel STD11

This paper has comparatively analyzed the characteristics of the machined surface of a specimen made by machining Die Steel STD11 and a specimen obtained by W-EDM steel. If a press die is manufactured through W-EDM, products of shapes that cannot easily be made through machining can be manufactured easily. However, the life of the press die is significantly reduced compared with the press die made through machining. This is believed to be caused by the deformed layer that has occurred on the surface of the press die that was made through W-EDM. The roughness of the 2 specimens was measured, and it was learned that the distribution of the roughness of the specimen made through the 1st W-EDM was rough. When the specimens were observed using a scanning-electron microscope, there was significant difference between the surface and the cross-section of the 2 specimens, while the cross section of the specimen obtained through W-EDM had the tempered and quenched surface structure which exists in the form of a deformed layer.
Calculation of capacity of solar cell and battery for stable solar system design

Solar cell and battery capacity are very important for stable design of stand-alone solar photovoltaic power generation system. If capacity computation of solar cell and battery is a wrong, operation of the solar system becomes unstable and results in breakdown. Therefore, in this paper, a solar cell and battery capacity calculation method considering the load characteristics has been proposed for the stable operation of the solar photovoltaic power generation system.
An Analysis of Wideband Digital Radio Frequency Signal Reproduction Characteristics

Digital memory circuits have been developed very fast according to the progress of semiconductor technology. But it was very difficult to memorize a wideband radio frequency signals. Many years ago, an analog frequency memory loop(FML) was used for store of radio frequency signal and the digital radio frequency memory was made according to the development of wideband amplifier and high speed sampler. We present a design of wideband digital radio frequency reproduction device using ladder circuit and the simulation results with respect to the sampling speed in this paper.

The degradation of IPA according to coating conditions was examined by
/p-25-coated aluminium metal plate. Inorganic(KR-400), inorganic
organic hybrid(TMOS) and organic(A-9540) resins were used as binder
coated surface of aluminum metal plate was clear with all binders, and the adhesion of binders was good except inorganic binder. The activity for IPA degradation appeared to range in order A-9540>TMOS>KR-400. The optimum activity was obtained when the ratio of TMOS and P-25 was 1.6:10, and when the ratio of A-9540 and P-25 was 1.0:6.0, respectly.
Study on Lateral Flow of Soft soils by Field Measurement and Numerical Analysis

In this paper, the lateral displacement of soft soil was measured in pier structure. The result was compared and investigated with the result of numerical analysis. The lateral displacement of soft soil was affected by lateral flow of soft soil due to embankment rather than settlement, and rapidly occurred at the embankment and preloading phases. The measurement and the numerical analysis showed very similar trend of lateral displacement but the magnitude was larger in numerical analysis than in measurement.
Study on Behavior of Pile Foundation in Soft Soils

In this paper, the displacement and stress of pile foundation constructed in the soft cohesive soils were measured and investigated at each construction phase. The piles belongs to compressive stress then extension due to lateral flow of soft soils. Battered piles showed different stress state according to construction direction. The lateral displacements of piles radically occurred at the embankment phase.
A study on High-Precision Position Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for Semiconductor Equipments

In this paper, the high precision position control of AC Servo motor for semiconductor equipment is studied. The control system was implemented using TI DSP TMS320F2812 which has 150 MIPS speed for next generation motor control. The controlled 100W PMSM motor has 2,500 ppr optical incremental encoder. The control system has speed controller and current controller to control the motor position. The encoder pulses are divided into 4 times, which has 10,000 ppr and the motor system has the position accuracy of 1/10,000. If the resolution of the encoder is increased, the resolution of the position control will be increased.
A Study on the Friction and Wear Characteristics with Purity on

The tribological properties of ceramics are very important in the application to engineering ceramic parts such as seal rings, pump parts, meter parts, and so on. In this study, the effects of each other purity on the mechanical and tribological properties of alumina and zirconia ceramics were investigated. Sliding distance, sliding speed, contact load. friction coefficient, the amount of worn out material at a certain time, and the prepared composites were measured. Crystalline phases and microstructure were examined with XRD and SEM. We obtained the good properties of friction coefficient and wear resistance at the purity 99.7
of alumina. However, The purity 95
were great at the wear amount of worn out material.
Data Transfer Efficiency Analysis Considering Mobility in WiBro System

As the name means, the WiBro is mobile service so that radio internet connection may be possible with high transmission speed using various terminal. Because WiBro is choosing suitable All-lP network architecture in internet service offer, structure of network is simple and the various supplementary service offer is available. This paper presented mobility model of terminal and proposed efficient way to improve existent way that transfer efficiency drops by data padding and analyze the performance by simulation.
