Tribological Characteristics with Concentration ZnDTP Additives in Automotive Engine

The lubricational characteristics about friction and wear has an important effect on the material quality of surface. Therefore, in the case of automobile engine oil which is used under severe running condition, or therefore, the seizure and anti-scuffing is very important. We have studied the lubricational characteristics of auto engine oil with additives using Falex wear test machine. We have obtained the studied result is as fellows. In order to more improved the surface roughness characteristics adding the P(phosphate) as additives is excellent at a low temperature. Adding the ZnDTP and Ca-phenate is excellent on the anti-wear and extreme pressure properties at the high load. Moreover, when the ZnDTP and P are added, the temperature properties is excellent because the stability is maintained in a high temperature.
An Experimental Study on the Transmission Line Pressure Control System Using Bleed Type Variable Force Solenoid

The line pressure control system for an automotive transmission in which a bleed type variable force solenoid(VFS) is applied, has been constructed and experimentally investigated. The hydraulic circuit of the system includes a line pressure control valve, a reducing valve, an accumulator, various orifices and a VFS. Static and dynamic responses of the throttle and line pressure have been monitored and discussed for various test conditions.
A Study of punch and die plate for restriking mold of structure engineering design

A Study on the Development of Grating Frame for Drain Water on Road

Grating is an installed structure on the road for drain. This paper proposes a new product which can prevent the accumulation of earth and sand through the improvement of Grating structure. There were usually harmful insects and bad smell because of accumulated garbage in the frame of previous product. The whole thing of the existing. This study is to separate grating from body. Also body structure consists of frame and box for collecting sewage. Thus, earth and sewage are prevented from accumulating in the drain main hole. The contents of this study is designed safely after structure analysis and vibration shape analysis about new products.
A Study on n FBG Weight Sensor

A fiber optic based weight sensor has fabricated using a fiber Bragg grating with a weight sensitive. The sensing concept exploits the inherent characteristics of the FBG and is based on the strain effect induced in the fiber Bragg grating through. A direct indication of the weight level is given by the shift of the Bragg wavelength caused by the expansion of the sensing material. A FBG behaves like a spectral filter which has inherent characteristics that render it very sensitive to strain and temperature. The sensing principle is also based on the strain effect induced in the FBG through the caused by the weight. The experimental setup used for the initial investigation to characterize the mass response of the sensor. The transmitted signal from the sensor was monitored using an optical spectrum analyzer with a resolution bandwidth of 0.4nm. In this paper, we presented the spectral characterization and shaping of FBG by scanning a mass element that affects a small grating fraction at a time, without permanent effects on the optical fiber when the various wavelength and strain is removed. That is, destruction when the optical fiber for weight is physically damaged.

The object of this paper is to propose a method to solve resulting heat in using numerous modulized watt-class LEDs in MCPCB as lighting device. To use LED for lighting, the chip needs to have a large capacity, resulting in extra heat in P-N connection area. To solve this problem, a Pottier Module, heat-sink panel and a fan was installed to measure variations in the temperature. Additionally, temperature variation characteristics were observed according to the heat conductor panel connecting cooling module and heat-sink panel, insulator and thermal grease. Leakage Current of Hydrogenated Amorphous Silicon Thin-Film Transistors

The variations in the device characteristics of hydrogenated amorphous thin-film transistors (a-Si:H TFTs) were studied according to the processes of pixel electrode fabrication to make active-matrix flat-panel displays. The off-state current was about 1 pA and the switching ratio was over
before fabrication of pixel electrodes; however, the off-state current increased over 10 pA after fabrication of pixel electrodes. Surface treatment on SiNx passivation layers using plasma could improve the off-state characteristics after pixel electrode process.

Modeling and Strategic Startup Scheme for Large-Scaled Induction Motors

This paper is intended to solve the technical problem that fails in large-capacity induction motor starting due to serious voltage drop during starting period. One induction motor that is established already can reach in steady-state using reactor starting method but the voltage magnitude of PCC (point of common coupling) has dropped down a little. When the same capacity induction motor is installed additionally in the PCC, where the existing induction motor is operating, voltage drop becomes more serious by starting of additional induction motor. As a result, the additional induction motor fails in starting. Therefore, voltage compensation method is proposed so that all of two induction motors can be started completely. First, modeling technique is described in order to implement starting characteristics of large induction motor. And then, this paper proposes strategic starting scheme by proper voltage compensation that use no-load transformer tap control (NLTC) and step voltage regulator (SVR) for starting of two large induction motors successfully and improving the feeding network voltage profile during the starting period. The induction motor discussed in this paper is the pumped induction motor of 2500kVA capacity that is operating by KOWACO (Korea Water Resources Corporation). Modeling and simulation is conducted using PSCAD/EMTDC software.
Reliability Evaluation Method of Software for Electronic Medical Devices

Today, medical devices is making great progress in type of the electronic medical device controlled by embedded software. So, the quality of electronic medical devices is dependant on the quality of embedded medical software. Especially, considering that medical devices closely connected to human life, we think the study about reliability of medical devices will be needed in the quality of programmable electronic medical devices. In this thesis, we constructed the reliability evaluation method based on ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO/IEC 12119, and developed the system that can applicate FMEA method, the one of the reliability evaluation method.
An Energy Saving Method using Hierarchical Filtering in Sensor Networks

This paper proposes how to reduce the amount of data transmitted in each sensor and cluster head in order to lengthen the lifetime of sensor network. This study proposes hierarchical filtering for reducing the sensor's energy dissipation. Hierarchical filtering is to divide sensor network by two tiers when filtering it. First tier performs filtering when transmitting the data from cluster member to cluster head, and second tier performs filtering when transmitting the data from cluster head to base station. This should increase the efficiency of filtering and decrease the inaccuracy of the data compared to the methods which enlarge the filter width to do more filtering.
Development of a Three Dimensional Control System for Implementing Rapid Prototyping Technology

Rapid Prototyping (RP) is a technology that produces prototype parts from 3D computer aided design model data without intermediate processing technology rapidly. CAD model data are created from 3D object digitizing systems but presented just as 2D data when they are printed as a hard copy or displayed on a monitor. However, Rapid Prototyping Technology fabricates 3D objects the same that CAD data because it transforms designed 3D CAD data into 2D cross sectional data, and manufactures layer by layer deposition sequentially. But most of all the small and medium scale companies which produce a toothbrush, a toy and such like provisions are in difficult situations to buy RP system because it is very expensive. In this paper, we propose a 3D control system adopting open source programs for implementing Rapid Prototyping Technology in order that RP system can be purchase at a moderate price.
Authenticated Route Optimization Protocol for Network Mobility Support

Network Mobility (NEMO) basic support protocol doesn't execute the process of route optimization and has not presented the particular security mechanism in other blocks except hi-directional tunnel between Mobile Router (MR) and its Home Agent (HA). Therefore in this paper we process secure route optimization courses through authenticated binding update protocol between MR and its Correspondent Node (CN) and the protocol of the competency of mandate between MR and its Mobile Network Node (MNN); its block also uses an bi-directional tunnel as the block between MR and its HA. The address of each node are generated by the way of Cryptographically Generated Address (CGA) for proving the ownership of address. Finally we analyze the robustness of proposed protocol using security requirements of MIPv6 and existing attacks and the efficiency of this protocol using the connectivity recovery and end-to-end packet transmission delay time.
The Analysis of Crypto Communication Relay Effect in the Security Framework Technique of Network Centric Warfare Environment

The policy of US DoD is moving towards implementation of Network Centric Warfare(NCW) concepts. NCW is commonly described as the integration and synchronization of four key interdependent elements such as command and control, sensor system, engagement systems and the network. Therefore the military policy of Korea military is needed to access and examine the policy of NCW communication environment and crypto communication, which is able to apply it. In this case study, We are reviewed the security framework of the concept of network centric warfare in the centering around the US. It is introduced the core technology in the network centric warfare, and it is reviewed the security framework such as, the requirements of security, the characteristics security of global information grid, joint tactical radion system, net centric enterprise services, transformational communication satellite, in the basis of core technology, and analysis the effect of crypto communication relay between command node and surbornate node in NCW environment. This report support the assistance, which is considered the elements of surrounding effects in the varied crypto communication research area of NCW.
The Effect Analysis of Communication Relay in the Network Centric Operations

Visual and Phonological Neighborhood Effects in Computational Visual Word Recognition Model

This study suggests a computational model to inquire the roles of phonological information and orthography information in the process of visual word recognition among the courses of language information processing, and the representation types of the mental lexicon. The model that this study is presenting here was designed as a feed forward network structure which is comprised of input layer which uses two Korean syllables as its input value, hidden layer, and output layer which express meanings. As the result of the study, the computational model showed the phonological and orthographic neighborhood effect among language phenomena which are shown in Korean word recognition, and showed proofs which implies that the mental lexicon is represented as phonological information in the process of Korean word recognition.
An Automation Tool for Design of Web-Based Advertisement CTS

It is now possible for the general public to publish their own publications without difficulties because of versatile Internet environments and cost-effective printing machines. However, special software design tools are still required in order to design name cards, leaflets, yellow books and free newspaper. In this paper, we present a computerized typesetting model which automates all procedures of generating business cards the most representative commercial design example. All processes in our model are performed over the Internet from application to generation. Based on our model, we also introduce a web-based computerized typesetting system which collaborates with the Adobe InDesign CS2 and generates image files in real time for user requests. Such a system is linked with an automatic payment system so that a PDF file, a target output, is generated after a user confirms his/her order.
Design of dual-band compact antenna with a deformed ground plane

In this paper, a small internal antenna for dual-band(RFID, PCS) applications is presented. The proposed antenna is a basic PIFA type and has a deformed ground plane under the main radiator. The modified ground plane is spreading the surface current and the antenna miniaturization can be achieved due to the coupling effect. The antenna is manufactured according to the simulation results and the resonance frequency move to low frequency band by 150MHz. And the surface current on the radiator and ground plane is evenly distributed so our suggested antenna can be used for better SAR and HAC performance.
Verification of Single Hardening Model

In this study, the single hardening model with stress history-dependent plastic potential, which has been most recently proposed based on the critical state soil mechanics and needs few model parameters, was verified for the normally, lightly, and heavily over-consolidated clayey specimens. The triaxial compression tests were strictly conducted. The predictions using the single hardening model generally agree with the measurement. The discrepancy exists on its main focusing on the principal stress rotation; however, the plastic work H and the principal stress rotation angle
are found to be effective indicators of loading history for the plastic potential function of the stress path dependent materials.
A Study on the Effect of Suspension of Vibro Pile Driver on Pile Driving System

Analytic solutions for pile driving system with and without suspension were presented and influences of suspension on the driving system were discussed. According to the results of analysis, magnitude of amplitude of vibratory pile driver with suspension increases as the mass of the suspension increases and soil dampening decreases. As a results of comparing power of vibratory pile driver with suspension with that of design criterion, power versus soil dampening reaches a peak value and then declines. The maximum power increases with mass ratio and the power is always below that of the Vulcan design criterion.
Unit Planning Methods of Apartment with Extra Rooms for enhancing Characteristics and Individualities

Recent decreased number of family members have caused at least one spare room which is not used as a bedroom in an apartment house. In addition, people who need an apartment house cannot be satisfied with the typical unit plan any more, and rather request more various types of living space. Based on this kind of housing needs trend, we would like to analyze and classify dwelling unit planning methods which may create particular purpose extra rooms to satisfy their unique needs and to give characteristics and individualities by means of study on various cases. As a result of this study, we could find the following planning methods which can produce extra rooms : 1) Utilization of optional plan between living room and adjacent bedrooms, 2) Utilization of optional plan on master bedroom zone, 3) Insertion of transitional space and Utilization of spare space, 4) Insertion of a space for housewives near a kitchen, 5) Positive utilization of a balcony space. This study is also trying to show many unit plan cases of which planning methods can be applied in other cases.
Analytical study on resisting moment of concrete pole installed in sloped ground

In this study, for the purpose of estimating the resisting moment of sloped ground based on level ground fall down safety equation in design specification, compute it depends on penetration depth of concrete pile applying modulus of foundation about the angle of internal friction, cohesion, unit weight of soil, classes of the ground, sandy or clay soil, and verify established study using L-Pile Plus13.8. Also, select four cases that characteristics of soil depending on the soil grade is considered and compute the 12m length concrete pile's resisting moment of the ground those angle is changing from
. In the result, identify that the resisting moment of ground decreases depending on ground slope. Thus, increasing of penetration depth is required.
A Study on the Effect of Lateral Vibration of Sheet Pile on Vibratory Driving Force

Many numerical analysis tools for predicting penetration speed of sheet pile are thought to be unreliable because they overestimate penetration speed for shallow depth of penetration. In order to overcome the defects of numerical analysis, lateral vibration model of sheet pile was suggested and energy consumption due to lateral vibration of sheet pile was estimated. Also, load reduction factor which explains reduction of vibratory driving force due to lateral vibration was introduced.

In this modern era, human beings lead their life in complex environment where there are lots of parameters such as temperature, light, smell, sound, visual stimulus etc. that play important role for quality life. These parameters affect physical and mental behavior of a human being immensely. To ensure quality life the demand for quality products is always associated with human emotion and sensibility. Due to human sensibility and emotion involvement with quality life, the design stages of any kind of product must include some certain features related with emotion and sensibility. The cues for optimizing artificial environment are the physiological responses of human in that environment. The conventional approach of environmental physiology is to measure the relationship between environmental physical parameters and human psychological parameters under artificial conditions. Using that approach we tried to design an artificial environment for our daily lives and activities associated with both physiological and psychological behavior. We developed the technique to present the mock environment and software to measure and evaluate sensibility physiologically or psychologically and a simulator to measure and evaluate sensibility that can be utilized for large scale industrial production and design of environment. Simulator to measure and analyze human sensibility (SMAS) was constructed, which was utilized to estimate human sensibility and to simulate living and office environment.
Removal of organic Carbon, Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Wastewater based on tapered Aeration with Bacillus sp.

This study was conducted to investigate an aeration tank with RBC process attached Bacillus sp. known as a suitable microorganism for the removing of organic carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus. An aeration tank was based on tapered aeration because Bacillus sp. was well grown in this like environment conditions. The biofilm process with Bacillus sp. as an advanced treatment process could be a best technology for the prominent removal of organic carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus if the mechanism in the process is verified. The operation conditions of DO in the tapered aeration tank were maintained as
in aeration tank1, as
in aeration tank 2 and less than 0.2 mg/L in aeration tank 3, respectively. Lab-scale experiments were conducted, at room temperature, internal recycle rate was from 200% to 50% and returned sludge rate was from 100% to 50%. As a result, concentration of organic carbons, nitrogen and phosphorus in Period 1 (the time of Bacillus sp. adapted to environment) were decreased gradually. Ultimately, each removal rate in this biological experiment were TCODCr 94%, BOD 87%, T-N 85%, T-P 89% in Period 2. Hence, this process showed an excellent performance of the removal of organic carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus and this is an effective system fur treating of wastewater.
Production properties of pyrolytic matter of PP and PS plastics in n low temperature pyrolysis condition

Thermal degradation characteristics of polypropylene and polystyrene have been studied in the thermogravimetric(TG) reactor and batch-type microreactor. The dynamic thermogravimetric curve of TG provided a valuable information about pyrolysis temperature. It was found that PS was thermally degraded at lower temperature of
than PP. It was found that the yield and molecular weight of liquid product in the microreactor were decreased with the increase of reaction temperature and time in the case of PP. The production of styrene monomer was significantly increased by the promotion of depolymerization with the increase of temperature and time. The chain-end scission rate parameters were determined to be 50.0 kcal/mole of PP, 45.2 kcal/mole of PS by the Arrhenius plot.
Coupling Equation of Specific Resistance to Filtration(SRF) and Capillary Suction Time(CST) of Digested Sewage Sludge

Capillary Suction Time(CST) and Specific Resistance to Filtration(SRF) were commonly used to evaluate the sludge dewatering behaviors. A coupled equation was developed through the mathematical theory which represented both CST and SRF as the physical filterability of the ultrasonically treated sludge. The model for coupling CST and SRF includes both equipment variables and variables related to sludge characteristics, and verified with the results from experiments. The results of the theoretical and experimental study showed that a good correlation relationship among dewaterability indices.

Therefore, the needs to evaluate the company value of IT business for M&A or liquidation are growing tremendously. Unlike other industries, however, IT industry has a short lift cycle and so it doesn't have not only a company value-evaluating model for general businesses but the objective one for IT companies yet. So, this thesis analyzes various value-evaluating technique and newly rising ROV. DCF, the change method of company's cash flow including tangible assets into future value, had been applied during the past industrialization economy era and has been persuasively applied to the present. However, the DCF valuation has no option but to make many mistakes because IT companies have more intangible assets than tangible assets. Accordingly, it is ROV, recognized as the new method of evaluating companies' various options normally and quantitatively, that is brought up recently. But the evaluation on the companies' various options is too subjective and theoretical up to now and due to the lack of objective ground and options, it's not possible to be applied to reality. In this thesis, it is found that ROV is more accurate than DCF, comparing DCF and ROV through four examples. As the options applied to ROV are excessively limited, we tried to develop ROV into a new method by deriving five invisible value factors within IT companies. Therefore, on this occasion, we should set up the basic valuation methods on IT companies and should research and develop an effective and various valuation methods suitable to each company like an internet-based company, a S/W developing enterprise, a network-related company among IT companies.
Pre-evaluation Methodology for Decision Making of IT Outsourcing's Feasibility

IT Outsourcing has been take place for ages and its range has expanded. The cases are also often take place more but there are a few criteria for making decision of IT outsourcing project. Companies tend to take IT outsourcing as a trend or to follow competitor's IT outsourcing project. This study suggests the criteria for IT outsourcing project before going into the project. The criteria ate to describe what function of the companies need to take outsourcing. Research model is driven by Statistics and AHP method. Also, variables are presented for clear making decision. This model allows the companies find proper IT outsourcing type and conveniences.
An Study on the Actual Conditions of Venture Business in Busan from the Venture Ecological perspective

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual conditions of Busan venture-ecosystem in mind that venture-policy is to be propelled actively for revitalization of local economy and improving the rate of joblessness in Busan. The Analytic framework is the concept of venture-ecosystem which is focused on interaction between the venture business and the environment. Because it has provided the conceptual frame of the venture-policy to make venture-friendly environment. Period of analyzing Busan venture-ecosystem is from 2004 to 2006 because venture-policy was changed greatly by participation government sailing. According to study finding, Busan venture-ecosystem is very weak in both quantitative and qualitative side. And it is estimated that the situation of Busan venture-ecosystem is high to be worsed by participation government's policy change. Also, venture policy and measures of Busan area shows that diversification of support target is urgent because of being overemphasized in IT industry.
The Analysis of the Factors and Weights for the Performance Mesurement of Hospital CRM System

Recently we can see many cases that the CRM Systems are implemented and operated in Hospitals. The reason for such situation is the management environments in medical service market is changing rapidly one hand, and on the other hand the competitions among the Hospitals became more severe. In this paper we try to present the factors and weights as index for the measurement of Hospital CRM's System Performance. To achieve this goal, we derived the primary factors for the success of the CRM Systems based on the precedent researches, and futhermore carry out the verification of the rightness of those factors. For the verification of the rightness of the factors, we employ the Structured-Model-Analysis Method of AMOS. This enhance the meaning of the analysis result of the factors. And we use the AHP method to compare the importance grade of each success factors, because the comparison of importance level of each success factor is very crucial for the measurement of the Hospital CRM's system performance. As a result, we derived the primary factors and analyzed the weights in this paper, which might be used as the guiding Index for the measurement of the Hospital CRM' System Performance.
A Simulation Study for Analyzing a LED Assembly Process

This paper introduces a simulation model regarding the process analysis of a LED assembly process. The objective of the simulation model is to evaluate the performance of various design aspects of process alternatives. To develop the simulation model, a time study is performed for each process. Next, by using ARENA, a simulation model is conducted based on the process analysis and the line balancing methodology. We found out several problems for the assembly process, and then suggest several alternatives to improve the system.
Analysis and Case Study of a K-Stage Inspection System Considering a Re-inspection Policy for Good Items

In this paper, we address a design problem and a case study of a K-stage inspection system, which is composed of K stages, each of which includes an inspection process and a rework process. Assuming the type I and II errors of inspectors and the re-inspection policy for items classified as good, we determine the smallest integer of K which can achieve a given target defective rate. If K does not exist, holding the current values of the type I, II errors, we search reversely a new vector, (the defective rate of an assembly line, the defective rate of a rework process), which can give the target defective rate. Our formulas and methodology based on our K-stage inspection system could be applied and extended to similar situations with slight modifications.

For middle & small sized metal heat treatment companies in Korea, this paper is crucial to have a systematic way of collecting and storing field data, and extracting relevant information when necessary. Therefore, it is concerned with developing a metal heat treatment program system for production technique control which is mainly focused on processing heat treatment filed data, converting the data into meaningful production technique control information, and illustrating a case study of a middle & small sized company in Busan province. Consequently, we are implemented a production information system for metal heat treatment a middle & small sized type company.

R&D institutes, supporting development in industry, are required to provide an economic basis of their R&D investments. In this paper, we apply prospective cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the economic impact of R&D investments. We compute main metrics with cost and benefit estimated via counter-factual evaluation model. Among many projects of KRISS to improve measurement reliability, three projects are evaluated by applying prospective cost-benefit analysis.
A Study of Authentication Design for Youth

Most Websites perform login process for authentication. But simple features like ID and Password have no trust because most people worry about appropriation. So the youth can easily access illegal media sites using other's ID and Password. Therefore this paper examine features be adaptable to authentication system, and propose a design of authentication system using multiple features. A proposed authentication system has two categories, such as low-level and high-level method. Low-level method consists of grant of authentication number through mobile phone from server and certificate from authority. High-level method combines ID/Password and features of fingerprint, character, voice, face recognition systems. For this, this paper surveys six recognition systems such as fingerprint, face, iris, character, vein, voice recognition system. Among these, fingerprint, character, voice, face recognition systems can be easily implemented in personal computer with low cost accessories. Usage of multiple features can improve reliability of authentication.
