An Experimental Study on Flow Characteristics of R134a in a Small Diameter Tube

The flow characteristics of R-134a in a small diameter tube was investigated experimentally. An experimental apparatus was consisted of a magnetic gear pump, an evaporator, a sight-glass, a condenser and a measurement instruments. The sight-glass for flow pattern observations was located at the inlet and outlet of the evaporator. The experiment was carried out to show the flow characteristics of R-134a in a small diameter tube. Mass flux of refrigerants was ranged from 100 to 1000

. In the flow patterns during evaporation, the annular flow in a 2 mm inner diameter tube occurred at a relatively lower quality and mass velocity, compared to that in a 8 mm inner diameter tube. The evaporation flow pattern in a small diameter tube has been shown major deviations with the Baker, Mandhane and Taitel-Dutler's flow pattern maps but it was similar to the Dobson's flow pattern map.

When the mold is cooled suddenly to reduce the time for forming work and improve the quality of jar50ml which is different highly at rib thickness by a series of various curvature radii, the poor quality of void, flow and deformation happens. Calibration of Laser Scribe Force Using Finite Element Method

Accurately controlling the shape of the read/write head structure is critical in the performance of a modem hard disk drive. The sliders investigated are composed of alumina and titanium carbide(AITiC) and act as an air bearing when passing over the disks. Controlling the curvature of the slider is of primary importance. A laser scribing system that produces curvature by inducing residual stress into the slider can be utilized. Predicting the curvature created by a pattern of scribes is of great importance to increase the control over the sliders' shape. The force system that produces stresses similar to the laser scribing is applied to the finite element analysis model. The curvatures created by the force system are calibrated to experimental measurements.
Temperature characteristics of condenser and evaporator of Air-conditioner applying variable capacity compressor under cooling condition

In order to investigate the cooling capacity of an air-conditioner applying a variable capacity compressor and the temperature characteristics on a condenser and an evaporator, the experiment on the operation characteristics of the air-conditioner was performed along a compressor operation ratio and an indoor/outdoor temperatures, under a cooling operation mode. The system characteristics were measured by the psychrometric calorimeter. The cooling capacity increased with decreasing the outdoor temperature and increasing the indoor temperature. Also, it increased with increasing the compressor operation ratio. The temperature of the condenser was more sensitive for the variation of the outdoor temperature and the temperature of the evaporator was more sensitive for the variation of the indoor temperature. The operation characteristics of the cycle used in this present were also analyzed by a pressure-enthalpy chart.

This preliminary simulation approach may improve the efficiency of construction engineering and enhance technical competitive since many budgets are involved in the manufacturing of zig.
Performance and Heat transfer Characteristics of Louver Fin-tube Heat Exchanger for Simultaneous Cooling/Heating Heat Pump

An experimental study has been performed to investigate the performance and heat transfer characteristics of the heat exchanger for simultaneous cooling/heating heat pump. The heat transfer performance was measured using an air-enthalpy calorimeter and a constant temperature water bath, to obtain the performance evaluation and analysis of a fined tube heat exchanger. Six finned tube heat exchangers with louver fin were tested under a heating condition. Air-side heat transfer and friction were presented in terms of j-factor and f-factor. The heat transfer coefficient increased with decreasing the fin pitch, j-factor and f-factor on the fin pitch and the number of tube rows decreased with increasing Reair.
Charging/Discharging Modeling of Lithium Secondary Battery for Estimating Cycle Characteristic

Secondary batteries become more important in our lives as the use of portable electric devices, such as camera, cellular phone, laptop, etc. Especially, because of their high energy densities and high voltage, lithium-ion batteries are being used in many systems. For the optimum design of such systems which include lithium-ion batteries, virtual prototype is required generally. However, since the complex chemical and physical processes are involved, the behavior of battery becomes harder to be predicted compared with that of electric and mechanic devices. This paper, proposes a new static model of lithium secondary battery, which accounts for nonlinear equilibrium potentials, rate and temperature dependencies, thermal effects, lifetime characteristic. The results of the simulation of the model are analysed and compared with experimental data to inspect their validity.
A study on Photovoltaic System to Considers a Solar Position Tracker for Air Conditioner a Clinic room

In this paper, these setting can be useful in the microprocessor and sensor that designed to improve the efficiency of the photovoltaic system the photovoltaic position tracker device, and compared the normal photovoltaic system of fixed form with the photovoltaic system of solar position tracked form. Moreover, this is compared the catalogue of solar cell module and the simulation through a mathematics modelling with the solar cell's characteristic interpreting and that is composed an power conversion system with boost converter and voltage source inverter. This device can be used to the constant voltage control method for maximum power point tracking in boost converter control. Experiment Results is shown that using a SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) control method in inverter control.

In order to utilize renewal energy such as solar power and wind power, high performance battery charge-discharge controller is essentially needed. In this paper, a PIC microprocessor-based battery charge-discharge controller for solar power system is designed and implemented. The PIC16C711 microprocessor and CCS-C compiler are used to realize stable and accurate operation of the battery controller. The proposed controller is designed to utilize the charged battery power during daytime to provide convenience to user. Current control function is included in proposed controller to cope with various type of new material energy system coming in the near future.

A charged particles layer control and driving of Charged Particle Type Display

The charged particle type display have characteristics of high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle, quick response time. We used the yellow(-) and the black(+) colored particles, which is respectively addressed to the cells of upper and rear panel by using electric field. Our independent addressing method has strong points compared to the mixed particle putting method. After addressing, we packaged two panels and did aging process, and then panel is driven by matrix method of four channel electrodes. Layers of particles are controlled by height of cell barriers and needed minimum two layers. When positive voltage is applied to the upper electrode, the yellow particles with negative charge move toward the upper substrate and the black particles with positive charge move toward opposite direction.
Design of Tension Control System in a Textile Process based on Microprocessor

Up to now, various continuous-processing systems are used in many industrial applications such as textile machines, paper-making machines, printing machines, and so on. In these applications, the tension forced on the products in the control volume can be changed according to the velocity difference between the feeding roll and the delivery roll. Specially, the tension variation generated by the velocity difference, or the inertial effect can decreases the quality of the products in the textile process. In this paper, the tension control problem in a circular knitting machine system is treated to cope with these problems. Firstly, the tension relationship in the winding mechanism of general continuous-processing systems is modeled. Next, to effectively drive the feeding and delivery rolls in the circular knitting machine system, a new tension control method is presented by considering the inertia compensation and the velocity difference between the feeding roll and the delivery roll. Through the experimental works, it is shown that the proposed tension control method can be used to improve the performance of tension control in the control volume of the given circular knitting machine system.

The Microprocessor Based Laboratory Systems(MBL) with the remote access functional could put basic science experimental facilities together by providing a modem platform that the students can utilize simultaneously to learn basic physics, chemistry and biology, Our educator target platform combines a highly integrated 8-bit embedded Atmega128 processor and real time embedded OS (operating system), allowing plenty of headroom for follow-on basic science projects for students. The proposed MBL-NUTOS (Microprocessor Based Laboratory-NUT/OS) employed in the lab are available with internet base simulation capabilities, on public servers and students personal PCs, enabling the students to study at home and increasing the opportunity of accessing for the science laboratory facility.

Secure access control is a hot issue of large-scale organizations or information systems, because they have numerous users and information objects. In many cases, system developers should implement an access control module as a part of application. This way induces difficult modification of the module and repeated implementation for new applications. In this paper we implement a Java API library for access control to support system developers who use Java. They can easily build up access control module using our library. Our library supports typical access control models, and it can offer new types of access control. Furthermore, it is able to run multiple access control models at the same time.
Automatic Gain Control Algorithms for MB-OFDM UWB System

In this paper, we propose various types of AGC algorithms for implementing the OFDM communication systems. For the high-speed packet transmission, in this paper, we assume the OFDM system with relatively long and repeated preambles. We propose the maximum sample value counter for counting the number of maximum sample. In the maximum sample value counter, we use the buffer for the digital signal buffering. Finally, the counting value of the maximum sample value counter controls the gain control signal generator by using gain control table automatically.
Throughput analysis of DCF protocol for packet applied to the nonmarkov process in the wireless LAN

This paper analyzes the throughput of DCF protocol at the MAC layer in the 802.11a wireless LAN. The throughput of DCF protocol is related on probability of backoff, depends on retransmission of each terminal. This paper applied to nonmarcov discrete model for each terminal BER in the base station versus the packet throughput is progressing with the data rate of 6,12,24,54 Mbps, We find the fact that the less the data rate be the higher the throughput. We also find from the throughput calculation by means of traffic intensity in OFDM wireless LAN.
Image Compression Using Edge Map And Multi-Sided Side Match Finite-State Vector Quantization

In this paper, we propose an algorithm which implements a multi-sided side match finite-state vector quantization(MSMVQ). After extracting the edge information from an image and classifying the image into edge blocks or non-edge blocks, we construct an edge map. We subdivide edge blocks into sixteen classes using discrete cosine transform(DCT) AC coefficients. Based on edge map information, a state codebook is made from the master codebook, and side match calculation is done for two-sided or three-sided current block of image. For reducing transmitted bits, a decision is made whether or not to encode the non-edge blocks among the pre-coded blocks by using the master codebook. Also for reducing allocation bits of codeword indices to decoder, a variable length coder is used. Considering the comparison with side match finite-state vector quantization(SMVQ) and two-sided SMVQ(TSMVQ) algorithm about Zelda, Lenna, Bridge and Peppers image, the new algorithm shows better picture quality than SMVQ and TSMVQ respectively.

An Implementation of Travel Information Service Using VoiceXML and GPS

In this paper, we implement a distributed computing environment-based travel information service that can use web(internet) and speech interface at the same time and can apply location information, using voice and web browser-based VoiceXML and GPS, to escape the limitations of traditional web(internet)-based travel information services. Because of IVR(Interactive Voice Response) of traditional call center has operated to a pre-installation scenario, it takes much a service time and has the inconveniences that must repeat speech recording according to the revised scenarios in case change response contents. However, suggested VoiceXML and GPS-based travel information service system has advantages that reorganization of system setups is easy, because it consists of the method to update server after make individual conversation scenarios by file format(document), and can provide usefully various travel information in environmental restriction conditions such as the back regions environment, according as our prototype find user's present location using GPS information and then provide various travel information service by this information.
High Speed Construction Method of Panoramic Images Using Scene Shot Guider

A panorama image is constructed by merging several overlapped images to a big one. There are two kinds of methods, feature based and direct method, in the construction. Feature based one has a merit of processing speed faster than direct one. But, it is difficult to be implemented under slower processing environments such as mobile device. This paper proposed high speed construction method of a panorama image. The algorithm extremely improved matching speed by reducing the number of matching parameters using scene shot guider, and additionally adapted local matching technique to reduce matching error caused by the fewer matching parameters. Design and Implementation of Monitoring Solution for Improving Productivity

Today, domestic and foreign manufacturing industries have to cope with obsolescence of manufacturing equipment because the shifting market trends drive the rapid changes in the production process resulting in stressful operation. Quality control process for manufacturing and production involves a familiar step - when the production process is completed, every item is subjected to various routine tests to determine that it meets the minimum quality standards. Typically, when a faulty product is found, the production line has to be stopped and the current batch is marked for further inspected and exhaustive testing. In this research, we propose a quality monitoring system for productivity enhancement. Our approach aims to reduces the operational down time in the production line of a car-component factory. The proposed monitoring system for productivity enhancement is designed to collect the data through testing at each phase of the assembly line and uses predictive methods on the collected data to achieve early detection of faults in the production process and minimize the number of products in a faulty batch thus minimizing the losses incurred from defective products. More importantly, this system aims to forecast and proactively detect faults and activate warnings when they are detected thus minimizing items in the defective batch, reducing the damage to manufacturing equipment and ultimately reducing the operational downtime or the delay in the resumption of normal factory operation.
The Influence of Logistics Information System Utilization under Ubiquitous Environment on Business Performance

This study set up a hypothesis that the main variables (business environment, business strategy, business policy, logistics information system) of logistics information system utilization under ubiquitous environment would contribute to business performance, and then verified the relation between each variables that have an effect on business performance. The analysis results between each main variable can be summarized as follows. First, among main variables under ubiquitous environment, business environment closely made influence on business performance. Second, business environment, business strategy, and business policy were meaningful among other variables, whereas logistics information system was not meaningful. But, it is known that corporate performance is only meaningful to business environment and business policy. In conclusion, business performance is not achieved by each variable of business strategy, business policy and logistics information system. It is recognized that business performance is influenced by business environment that combines a given condition of business strategy, business policy and logistics information system.
A Development of Remote Control System using PDA based WINDOWS CE .NET

This study implemented a remote control system using PDA based on WINDOWS CE. NET. In existing remote control systems, the user generally controls remote objects and obtain data using a computer, which is a local system connected to the internet, and the remote objects are connected to server computers. In order to control remote objects, the user has to have a computer, a space to use the Internet, and wired internet. The system proposed in this study uses an embedded board as a server and PDA as a client. Thus, the user can control remote objects at any place as long as wireless internet is available. In addition, because an embedded board is used as a server, the system has the characteristics of high performance and low power consumption. The proposed system provides not only remote control environment using PDA but also conventional control environment using a computer as a client. In case PDA is not available, remote objects still can be controlled from any place as long as there are wired internet and a computer.
Design of CTS for Graduation Album Production

Due to proliferation of Digital cameras and high-speed digital printers, anyone can do easily digital photo shoot and print services, but album manufacture for celebrating the graduation or marriage, and a hundred days needs a lot of capacity of image files and requires high quality, therefore that is working in the photo studio's to the whole responsibility. In this paper, we show all album process to product album manufacture quickly and accurately using high-quality template and variety of libraries, and propose CTS(computerized typesetting system) to build album, which separates a role of photo studio, processing laboratory and printing house and can revolutionize a working process.
Design and Development of Patient-aware System using Mobile Device

The purpose of this paper, as a part of healthcare research, is to design and development Patient-aware System that will support EMR(Electronic Medical Record) in hospital. A mobile device-based system that can use database of existing EMR, replace existing paper-type chart, and identify patient fast and correctly was developed. To identify patient, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) was used, and through interworking RFID and the system, it is possible to identify patient automatically. The developed system was tested in the test bed, and the possibility of faster diagnosis and treatment than existing paper-type chart was tested.

This paper suggests that the gate control system which is based on RFID middle ware is realized to prevent the district and facility for security. The indication of this paper is that algorithm (which is to certificate Users' enterance through RFID EPC code) is proposed and realizes the user certification module, the control module of the gates' opening and closing, the maintenance module of the gate, the display module of coming and going information, test program ect. through RFID technology.

This paper describes a design and implementation of diabetes management system based on PDA in the wireless Internet. Our system is a 3-Tier Client/Server model with client, server, middleware, and DB. The client has each PDA for patients and for doctors related to diabetics. The one is used for patients to manage this disease by themselves with, and the other is used for the doctors to monitoring the patients' data with. The server receive the daily data measured by the patients through wireless network, middleware mediate between an client(PDA) and server. As the result of implementation of the system, we expected that it manages to diabetic patients continually and systematically.
Authenticated Mobile IPv6 Binding Update Protocol for Micro/Pico Cell Environments

In this paper, we propose the fast and secure binding update protocol as handoff or handover in the micro and pico environment based on mobile IPv6. The nodes or routers on participating in this protocol generate their addresses from cryptographically generated addresses (CGAs) method unlike previous address generation method. The mobile node (MN) includes in home network or home link has limited power and computational abilities. So the home agent (HA) of the MN executes key agreement protocol with the correspondent node (CN) on behalf of the MN. The CN then creates a ticket on including session key, lifetime of ticket. and so on. It then transmits it to the MN via the HA of the MN. The ticket is used to communicate directly between the MN and its CN. In performance analysis, we analyze security of proposed binding update protocol under various attack scenarios and efficiency by comparing proposed protocol with prior binding update protocols. Finally we make a conclusion of this paper and present future works.

In this paper, automatic shot panorama construction method is presented. For construction of panorama image, conventional panoramic techniques manually took two panorama members, but the proposed method automatically takes panorama members according to moving camera and constructs panorama image. The panorama members are automatically selected and taken by tracking region over image stream form camera. Matching region for panorama including the tracking region in the members is selected and applied by invariant feature panoramic method. Our method can automatically shot panorama members and has merit of high processing speed. Design and Development of a PDA mobile banking System

In this paper, a mobile banking system which can provide banking services is introduced. Since a PDA has excellent features like a small-size computer and provides mobility, it has been widely used by salesmen. Therefore, if general banking services can be provided with PDA by using wireless technology, it will be very useful. In addition, it is easy to develop and maintain the client software of PDA because it uses Windows-based operation systems. In this paper, a PDA banking system is introduced. The system is designed and developed based on the techniques of wireless network, security and PDA programming to be used for mobile banking and a prototype system is developed. Moreover, we used the object-oriented modeling technique, UML and Java Beans for programming.
An analytical study on behavior of the girder panel in simplified composite deck under construction loadings

In this study, based on a I-roll embedded steel composite deck, it is suggested a new type of simplified composite deck and analyzed under construction loading. Using ABAQUS, it's estimated effects of welding amount of steel plate and I-section, existence of a hole of I-section's flange, and a location of hole. For a reasonable verification of modeling, compare Euler-Beam theory with F.E.M models. In result, it is verified that change of welding amount increase more maximum bending tension stresses at the central part's section of span when elements are partial-welded. Also, verify that deflection is slightly increased when a hole existed compared with no hole.

The purpose of this study is to verify the technical possibilities and advantages of web GIS system, and its practical implementation for space management and information service accessible from anywhere. at anytime using ArcIMS on behalf of university facility management. It is found that the integration of GIS and web technology, in terms of its administrative and public service capabilities, carries many advantages in the aspects of time, cost, and effort saving. Finally, practical system architecture is proposed with its database structuring method for space management of university facility.
Character for Spatial Distribution of Velocity Using Simple Hydraulic Data

In this study, Chiu's velocity distribution equation recently developed from the probability and entropy concepts is used to establish a linkage between the mean velocity obtained from the Manning's equation and the corresponding velocity distribution in a channel cross section. The linkage to be established enables computing the velocity distribution along with the mean velocity, from simple hydraulic data such as Manning's n, hydraulic radius and channel slope irrespective of including sediment or not.

Staring from 5-Iodo-2'-deoxyuridine(1), a four-step sequence, consisting of the Pd(0)-catalyzed Heck-type C-C coupling with acetylenic group, protection of 5'-hydroxy group, generation of acetylenic hydrogen, and Glaser oxidative coupling reaction leads to the dimeric oligodeoxyribonucleotide(5).
Decomposition Characteristics of Non-Degradable Liquid Waste under High Temperature and High Pressure Conditions

The specified wastes consist of waste acid, waste alkali, waste oil, waste organic solvent, waste resin, dust, sludge, infectious waste, and others. Among these specified wastes, a great portion is liquid phase wastes. The purpose of this study is to develop the high temperature and high pressure (HTHP) treatment system for decomposition of the liquid phase specified waste (LPSW). For this, we analyzed the physical and chemical properties of the LPSW such as density, proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, heating values, and designed 0.3 ton/day HTHP treatment system. The LPSW tested in this experiment were prepared by adding TCE(trichloroethylene) and toluene to liquid phase waste which was brought into the commercial waste treatment company. The average density of waste oil (25 samples), waste resin (5 samples), and waste solvent (12 samples) was 0.99 g/mL, 0.91 g/mL, and 0.93 g/mL, respectively. And the average lower heating value of waste oil, waste resin, and waste solvent was 8,294 kcal/kg, 5,809 kcal/kg, and 7,462 kcal/kg, respectively. The DRE (Destruction & Removal Efficiency) of TCE and toluene were 99.95% and 99.73% at atmospheric pressure conditions and that were 99.99% and 99.82% at pressurized conditions, respectively. These results showed that TCE/toluene mixtures were properly decomposed over about 99.73% of DRE by the HTHP treatment system and pressurized conditions were more effective to destroy those pollutants than atmospheric pressure conditions. Also these systems could be directly applied to industries which try to treat the liquid phase specified waste within the regulation limit.

The major findings in this study could be summarized as follows: First, males are described as formal workers and females are mostly seen as housekeepers; second, jobs of males are diversified than those of females; third, gender role discrimination which gives the clues to segregate two sexes tends to be greatly reduced in the 6th EAPGP than in the 3rd, the 4th, and the 5th EAPGP.
A Study on the Management Output Creation Stages of ERP System

For the latest 10 years, many companies have introduced the ERP system competitively. There have been many evaluations of the system, but most of them have made general evaluation and few of them studied output creation. The output of the introduction of the ERP system cannot be uniform, and the stages of output creation also vary. Accordingly, the present study purposed to examine when the management output of the ERP system is created in Korean companies that adopted the ERP system in order to predict the management output of such companies and to provide opportunities to change ERP operation methodology. Balanced scorecard was used as an indicator to measure the outcome of ERP. In addition, we conducted correlation analysis for determining the correlation between ERP system activation factors and management output, and performed frequency analysis to examine the stages of management output creation according to the stage of ERP system.

This thesis is researched on Forming Rapo, which is important due to demand of change in business environment, to apply in the real market and increase the sale. The study applied on Enneagram that is proven to be the most effective tool for teach required passion and leadership within human personality system, and it explains nine different type of human personality. The used methodology was to set the hypothesis from selecting features that can be judged to apply on the sales field in the nine different type of personality. In addition, to support and prove the appliance of the hypothesis, one conduct the survey to 375 people, who found their personality type at KESI (Korea Enneagram Spiritual Institution).

In this paper, influences of financing method on management accomplishments for KOSDAQ listed venture firms has been objectively verified. The results of this study revealed that explanatory variable had significant influences on management outcomes of firms, and some part of pecking order theory has not gotten the supported result and other part has gotten the supported result. Also, it was analyzed that fixed asset investment had significant influences on management accomplishments.

"To invest or not to invest?" Most business leaders are frequently faced with this question on new and ongoing projects. The challenge lies in deciding what projects to choose, expand, contract, defer, or abandon. The project valuation tools used in this process are vital to making the right decisions. Traditional tools such as discounted cash flow (DCF)/net present value (NPV) assume a "fixed" path ahead, but real world projects face uncertainties, forcing us to change the path often. Comparing to other traditional valuation methods, the real options approach captures the flexibility inherent to investment decisions. The use of real options has gained wide acceptance among practitioners in a number of several industries during the last few decades. Even though the options are present in all types of business decisions, it is still not considered as a proper method of valuation in some industries. Mining has been comparably slow to adopt new valuation techniques over the years. The reason fur this is not entirely clear. One possible reason is the level and types of risks in mining. Not only are these risks high, but they are also more numerous and involve natural risks compared with other industries. That is why the purpose of this study is to deal with a more practical approach to project valuation, known as real options analysis in mining industry. This paper provides a case study approach to the copper mining industry using a real options analysis. It shows how companies can minimize investment risks, exercise flexibility in decision making and maximize returns.

The purpose of this study is to understand how the reality show program spread into global with a variety effects on social and cultural phenomenon, and textual analysis of TV reality show program 'Scandals' with a specific status. As a result of this study shows that TV reality show program 'Scandals' involves in a characteristic and a diversity of TV genre. On the other hand, textual analysis of TV reality show program 'Scandals' is about understanding the situation which create meaning in TV industry with a negative aspects of phenomenon. More over, TV industry creates lower cultural aspects of situation relate in someway to the target audiences to whom they are aimed.
International Marketing Strategies for Chungbuk's U-Health Industry

Recently, various industries have appeared which are applied ubiquitous technology. Particularly, health and medical fields, have been focused as future's industry, have been combined with ubiquitous system. This is what we called' u-Health industry. Korean government has encouraged local governments to develop specialized high value-added industries along each local's circumstance. According to the policy, I had an assumption that u-Health industry is Chungbuk province's specialized high value-added industry and studied marketing strategy for the point of penetration into markets. I presented STP strategy for international markets. This strategy referred to developed countries' aging index and based on Modigliani's life cycle hypothesis. Finally, considering none of u-Health has been released, I presented strategies of marketing mix to be utilized when u-Health items march into the markets.

In this work, we first summarized the concept of the u-Learning where the architecture of various u-learning areas has been identified. Then we investigated the current status and problems of the u-Learning industry. Through the SWOT analysis, we have extracted the political strategies that will be essential for the rapid industrialization of u-Learning which will, in turn, contribute much to enhance the competitiveness of national economy.

There are a lot of factors working to facilitate the decline of Korea's traditional markets including large-scale discount stores, convenience stores, businesses of new types such as non-store retailing, and fiercer competitions among retail shops. The changes to the business environment are never favorable to them, either; the consumers have developed more diverse tastes and altered their purchasing styles; and the trading areas around traditional markets have withdrawn in size and power as new towns attract more businesses. In a word, every factor and situation seems to push traditional markets down the slope. Reacting to the problems, the Korean government enacted and enforced the "Special Law for the Promotion of Traditional Markets and Shopping Streets" to provide proper financial and management support. The shop owners of traditional markets formed merchants and prosperity associations and took various initiatives to increase the competitive edge of their traditional markets. All those efforts on the part of the government and the merchants, however, do not seem to be enough to revive traditional markets. This study set out to compare and analyze the management of shop owners of traditional markets based on the support projects by the government, to conduct an empirical research and analysis of their management conditions, and to suggest a better policy model by making improvements for the government's support system and making revisions to the current directions.
A Study on the Influential Relationship of Job Stress in R&D Personnel on their Organizational Effectiveness -Focusing on IT Enterprises in Seoul-

This study is a research on the influential factor of R&D (Research and Development) personnel's job stress on their organizational effectiveness, and defined its purposes as the following in order to find out in detail what effect the R&D personnel's job stress has and what difference it makes with respect to the relation with their organizational effectiveness. As a result of testing the relation between organizational members' job stress and their organizational effectiveness through this empirical research, the following results were derived. First, job stress according to demographic characteristics has an important effect on organizational effectiveness. Second, it was revealed that job stress has a significant effect on organizational effectiveness according to organizational members' personal characteristics. Third, it was found that organizational members' job stress has a negative effect on organizational effectiveness. Finally, it was found that each variable such as role-conflict, role-ambiguity and career development has a negative effect on organizational effectiveness independently.
