Safety evaluation for oven structures using parametric method

The structures of induction heating type pressure rice cooker are consisted of oven. top heater plate and locking ring. Because the pressure is applied to their structures, those should be necessary to do the safety evaluation. In this paper, structure analysis is performed for oven structures by using finite element method and as a results, optimal thickness is achieved. Especially, analysis fur anisotropic layered material is performed because oven is made of both stainless steel and aluminum. And both von Mises and Tsai-Wu failure criterion are applied for safety factor. Parametric method is used in order to get the optimal thickness for oven and top heater plate.
Vibration Analysis of a Moving Mass Travelling on the Timoshenko Rotating Shaft

The dynamic interaction between the moving mass and the rotating Timoshenko shaft is investigated. The moving speed of the mass is presented by a constraint equation related to the rotating speed of the shaft. The dimensionless equations of motion for the rotating shaft with a moving mass by using the Timoshenko's beam theory. The dynamic responses of this system are studied. influences of dimensionless parameters such as the rotating speed ratio. the Rayleigh coefficient and the dimensionless axial force are discussed on the transient response and the maximum deflection of the moving system.

The effects of exhaust gas recirculation (ECR) on smoke emissions in heavy duty diesel engine are numerically studied by using KIVA-3V CFD code. For the analysis, RNG k-
turbulence model was given as a governing equation, and mathematical models of Tab, Wave, Watkins-Park, Nagle-Strikland were applied to describe physical process of droplet breakup, atomization, wall impingement and smoke respectively.
Usage of Multiple Regression Analysis in Prediction System of Process Parameters for Arc Robot Welding

It is important to investigate the relationship between weld process parameters and weld bead geometry for adaptive arc robot welding. Howeve, it is difficult to predict an exact back-bead owing to gap in process of butt welding. In this paper, the quantitative prediction system to specify the relationship external weld conditions and weld bead geometry was developed to get suitable back-bead in butt welding which is widely applied on industrial field. Multiple regression analysis for the prediction of process parameters was used as the research method. And, the results of the prediction method were compared and analyzed.
Air Fluid Analysis between Porous PE-Plate and Glass in Air-Floating FPD Conveyor System

The FPDs(Flat Panel Displays) such as LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and PDP(Plasma Display Panel) and OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode), recently, have been substituted for CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) displays because they have a convex surface, small volume, light weight and lower electric power consumption. The productivity of FPDs is greatly dependent on the area of thin glass panel with 0.6 - 0.8mm thickness because FPDs are manufactured by cutting a large-scaled thin glass panel with patterns to the required product dimensions. So FPD's industries are trying to increase the area of thin glass panel. For example, the thin glass panel size of the 8th generation is 2,200mm in width, 2,600mm in length and 0.7mm in thickness. The air flows both in the thin glass panel and in the porous PE-plate surface were modeled and analyzed, from which a working condition was estimated. The thin glass panel on the porous PE-plate surface with self-lubricating characteristics was investigated and compared with that on the square duct floating bar surface with many holes of 1mm diameter when the thin glass panel contacts the floating bar surface due to malfunction of electric power supply.
Experimental Investigation on Air Consumption and Pressure Wave Propagation inside A Filter Bag of A Dust Collector

This experimental investigation is concerned with the relationship between the electrical-on time of a solenoid which is located on the top of a pulse valve and air consumption of a dust collector. For the air consumption per pulse would be one of major factors affecting the operating cost of a dust collector, more attention is needed on the behaviour of a pulse valve. A pulse jet is blasted into a bag filter as the diaphragm valve opens and inflates a bag filter. This air-blast breaks up the dust layer and cleans the filter by dislodging dust cake. It is interpreted in this research that the cleaning filter is done by the impulse of a pulse jet. Hence, the magnitude and fluctuation of the dynamic pressure is measured using by a dynamic pressure sensor and the impulse is obtained by integrating dynamic pressure variation against time. Through this experimental work, conclusions are drawn implementing magnitude of averaged impulsive pressure per pulse or pressure impulse per unit volume of consumed air.
Measurement of the intrinsic speed of sound in a hot melt ceramic slurry for 3D rapid prototyping with inkjet technology

3D rapid prototyping is the manufacturing technology to fabricate a prototype with the data stored in a computer, which differs from conventional casting technology in terms of an additive process. Various 3D rapid prototyping techniques such as stereolithograpy. fused deposition modeling. selective laser sintering, laminated object manufacturing have been developed but among them, 3D inkjet printing has a unique feature that materials could be jetted to directly form the body of a prototype, which could be a finished product functionally and structurally. However, this needs ink with a high solid content, which tends to increase the dynamic viscosity of ink. The increase of ink viscositytends to restrict the jettable range of ink and hence the jetting conditions should be optimized. The intrinsic speed of sound in a hot melt ink with ceramic nanoparticles dispersed is one of key components to determine the jettable range of ink. In this paper, the way to measure the intrinsic speed of sound in a hot melt ceramic ink is proposed and its influence on the jetting condition is discussed.
A Study on the Reliability Assessment Considering Interruption Cost of Load Characteristics in Distribution Systems

This paper deals with the analytical approach for the reliability assessment in radially operated distribution systems. The approach can estimate the expected reliability performance of distribution systems by a direct assessment of the configuration of the systems using the reliability indexes such as NDP(Non-Delivery Power) and NDE(Non-Delivery Energy). The indexes can consider the number and configuration of the load. but can not consider the characteristics of the load which is the one of the most important factor in the investment cost for the distribution systems. Therefore, this paper presents the new indexes considering the expected interruption cost for the load section and shows the effectiveness by simulating at the model systems.
Making for Circular Motion Table for Controller Design of Movement of Object

In this paper, a circular motion table which is able to simulate movement of object is designed and the experiment of control system using circular motion table is presented. Circular motion table is consisted of three axes changed on length and of ball splines which keep vertical centre axis of circular plate. Variable length of three axes make circular plate incline as vertical centre axis is kept on vertical center axis of circular motion table. It is designed that control system drives three servo motor, that is, make change length of axis simultaneously or independently. And this paper presents example of flight simulation using circular motion table. it will contribute toward nurture expert manpower of aerospace/robotics to popularize circular motion table and make an experiment using it.

In this paper. we introduce and investigate new architectures and comprehensive design methodologies of intelligent dimming converter and evaluate the proposed model and the system through a series of numeric experiments. The intelligent dimming converter is developed by using the regression polynomial fuzzy model. In this paper, we put emphasis on the design of electronic ballast based on intelligent dimming converter and the energy saving according to the day-light and the user setting by applying the intelligent model to a fluorescent lamp. We show the superiority of the proposed intelligent dimming converter through the evaluation of performance with conventional electronic ballast by applying the intelligent model to real systems.
A Study on the Embedded Capacitor for High Frequency Decoupling

We proposed an embedded capacitor with the unique electrode structure, which electrodes are located on the same plane and dielectric gap was formed by electrodes. We named it 'Gap type EC', and it was analyzed by the FEM(Finite element Method) program tool. The resonant frequency of Cap type EC was obtained at more higher frequency region. As internet telephony services based on Session initiation Protocol (SIP) enter the spotlight as marketable technology, many products based on SIPs have been developed and utilized for home and office telephony services. The call connection of an internet phone is classified into specific call connections and group call connections. Group call connections have a forking function which delivers the message to all of the group members. This function requires excessive message control for a call connection and creates heavy traffic in the network. In the internet cail system model. most of the call-setup messages are directed to the proxy server during a short time period. This heavy message load brings an unwanted delay in message processing and. as a result, call setup can not be made. To solve the delay problem, we simplified the analysis of the call-setup message in the proxy server, and processed the forking function distributed for the group call-setup message. In this thesis, a new system model to minimize the load is proposed and the subsequent implementation of this model demonstrates the performance improvement.

DRM system is a technology that protects and manages copyright holder's privilege by using a copyright protection technology. This paper contributes to improvement of the secret key transmission and encryption/decryption processing time base on DRM system. In this paper, we will suggest that as follow: First, we will propose the algorithm to transmit the encryption key which use Multidimensional Method more safe than the existing One-path XOR method. Second, we will provide the high quality algorithm of security than the existing system because the Multidimensional which generated from the algorithm does not saved to the server side. Third, we will support the client decryption system which can decrypt the Multidimensional with OPT in decryption with client side. Fourth, we will adopt the more safr method of transmission with the compound of Multidimensional Method and OPT.
High Performance Data Cache Memory Architecture

In this paper, a new high performance data cache scheme that improves exploitation of both the spatial and temporal locality is proposed. The proposed data cache consists of a hardware prefetch unit and two sub-caches such as a direct-mapped (DM) cache with a large block size and a fully associative buffer with a small block size. Spatial locality is exploited by fetching and storing large blocks into a direct mapped cache, and is enhanced by prefetching a neighboring block when a DM cache hit occurs. Temporal locality is exploited by storing small blocks from the DM cache in the fully associative buffer according to their activity in the DM cache when they are replaced. CFG based Korean Parsing Using Sentence Patterns as Syntactic Constraint

Korean language has different structural properties which are controlled by semantic constraints of verbs. Also, most of Korean sentences are complex sentences which consisted of main clause and embedded clause. Therefore it is difficult to describe appropriate syntactic grammar or constraint for the Korean language and the Korean parsing causes various syntactic ambiguities. In this paper, we suggest how to describe CFG-based grammar using sentence patterns as syntactic constraint and solve syntactic ambiguities. To solve this, we classified 44 sentence patterns including complex sentences which have subordinate clause in Korean sentences and used it to reduce syntactic ambiguity. However, it is difficult to solve every syntactic ambiguity using the information of sentence patterns. So, we used semantic markers with semantic constraint. Semantic markers can be used to solve ambiguity by auxiliary particle or comitative case particle.
HMM-based Speech Recognition using DMS Model and Fuzzy Concept

This paper proposes a HMM-based recognition method using DMSVQ(Dynamic Multi-Section Vector Quantization) codebook by DMS(Dynamic Multi-Section) model and fuzzy concept, as a study for speaker- independent speech recognition. In this proposed recognition method, training data are divided into several dynamic section and multi-observation sequences which are given proper probabilities by fuzzy rule according to order of short distance from DMSVQ codebook per each section are obtained. Thereafter, the HMM using this multi-observation sequences is generated, and in case of recognition, a word that has the most highest probability is selected as a recognized word. Other experiments to compare with the results of recognition experiments using proposed method are implemented as a data by the various conventional recognition methods under the equivalent environment. Through the experiment results, it is proved that the proposed method in this study is superior to the conventional recognition methods.

Nowadays, as the importance of SOA-based software is recognized, the market of SOA-based software is getting bigger. In response to this, the requirements about high reliability and quality SOA-based software is getting increased. In this paper, we clearly suggested the evaluation method by giving a specific evaluation example to evaluate the functionality quality of SOA-based software. We expect that this study can raise the objectivity and the utilization by inducing the functionality quality improvement of SOA-based software and developing the strategic technology accepting the international standard.

The environment of IT is, currently, on its developing process to the period of web 2.0 and mashup which not only enable computer and internet to be utilized like the water or the air, but also be a new motivating force for its advance. One of the biggest changes of the industry that lies ahead is consolidated transportation. However, no party outstands as the leading party for nationwide improvement of logistics, nor does the right analysis and design for it. Therefore, successful nationwide logistics model is yet to exist. This study provides individual parties, which consider consolidated transportation model as their implementation and design of the framework, with instructions for logistics information system so that they could be competitive in the market. It also helps companies collect user requirements for logistics information system consolidated transportation, and utilize it for its development. Finally, the study provides a implementation and design of pilot system for consolidated transportation model.
A Chaff Simulator for an Aircraft

This paper presents a simulator developed for effective use of chaff which is widely employing for aircraft protection. We calculate the scattered electric field based on the aircraft and the chaff RCS. Input parameters calculated using Matlab are forwarded to the input module of the presented simulator which provides a three dimensional display fur the three different scenarios.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the composition for visual character to make the process of television programs. The study can be classified as a visual communication methods into a target audiences. At the beginning of using visual character was communication method as an insufficiency of television programs. However, In recent years, television industry using visual character in many ways into television programs that it can be classified not only to developed the communication method as a function of effects, but also to changed substitute a variety of graphic pattern of visual character in television programs. As a matter of fact, this study have some implication in terms of using a visual character to making television program, therefore, the results show that different ways of using visual character into the diversity of television programs were discussed.

The US government has designed new military standard vocoder algorithm, which is called MELP algorithm, to provide robust communication performance on poor channel environment. Recently, the use of wireless fan is increased by the development of wireless communication and convenience. Moreover, it makes an issue of security threat and vulnerability of wireless tan. Therefore, the IEEE established new standard such as 802.11i in 802.11 to supplement security vulnerability of wireless tan. But the security threat that does not solve, still remains. In this paper, we proposed that the location detection algorithm, that is used Kalman-Filter, Lateration and RSSI, and the mechanism that detects security status of AP and unauthorized AP by using beacon-frame of AP in building. Finally, we confirmed performance of proposed algorithm is good in comparison of established algorithm.
A Study on Factors for Adopting of RFID Application Technology

Recently, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) application technology is the core of ubiquitous technology. this research examines the factors for adopting the RFID application technology together with factors for adopting the related information system such as ERP, SCM, EDI by researching relevant literature. this research attempts to derive the factors for adopting RFID application technology by using the Delphi Method. The factors for adopting the information technology of the above-mentioned three areas totaled 116 adoption factors. Based on these 116 adoption factors, the factors for adopting RFID application technology were to be derived. A total of 27 adoption factors were derived in the first Delphi investigation. Of the total 27 adoption factors, final 9 adoption factors could be derived by conducting frequency analysis and relative importance analysis. In other words, 9 adoption factors that were derived last were found to be the cost related to tag, relationship with customer firms, compatibility of technology, information technology-based structure, trust and coordination between business firms, intensity of competition within the industry, the standardization of RFID technology, the top management's support and participation degree of client companies. When business firms try to adopt RFID application technology afterwards, concrete and close examination from this point of view was found to be necessary.
Fuzzy Sensor Algorithm for Traffic Monitoring applied by the Analytic Hierachy Process

Traffic monitoring method is mainly loop detector and piezo sensor. But this method is only detecting the number of vehicle. Monitoring traffic volume is not checking the number of vehicle but checking the length of access road, width of road, number of passing people, passing vehicle, delayed vehicle. The traffic signal control cycle is not fixed by only passing vehicle number but all related traffic proposal. This paper proposed selecting common characteristic out of each unrelated traffic proposal through Analytic Hierachy Process and this characteristic is applied to compose fuzzy sensor algorithm which find out new traffic volume concept of confusion degree. The accumulated delayed vehicle time is shorter in new fuzzy sensor algorithm applied by AHP than other traffic method
Application of Ultrasonic Energy to Fast Consolidation of Soft Clays

Dredged fills have been widely used to secure a land for the engineering activities. Before the useful application of the area, the soils should be consolidated to acquire the aquate shear strength. Several research projects have attempted to develop a method fur accelerating the consolidation of soft clay. Our study examined the effect of ultrasonic energy on the consolidation of soft clay, Tests were conducted using specially designed and fabricated equipment that was capable of directly applying ultrasonic energy to soil samples during consolidation tests. The specimens were prepared from slurry using a centrifuge facility, and tests were conducted at various levels of ultrasonic power and treatment time. The study showed that ultrasonic energy had a considerable effect on consolidation time, suggesting that ultrasound can be used to reduce the consolidation time of soft clay.

In this paper, we investigate the static response. natural frequencies and buckling loads of functionally graded material (FGM) plates, using a Navier method. The eigenvalues of the FGM plates and shells are calculated by varying the volume fraction of the ceramic and metallic constituents using a sigmoid function, but their Poisson's ratios of the FGM plates and shells are assumed to be constant. The expressions of the membrane. bending and shear stiffness of FGM plates art more complicated combination of material properties than a homogeneous element. In order to validate the present solutions, the reference solutions of rectangular plates based on the classical theory are used. The various examples of composite and FGM structures are presented. The present results are in good agreement with the reference solutions.

The application of TBM tunneling has been progressively increased since the first entrance into Korea in 1985. In order to an apprehension and operation development of TBM method which has excellent boring in hard rock tunnel, this study has analyzed mutual relation of lose time and TBM boring from actual construction result TBM tunneling. This study compared an analyzed result with TBM tunnelling construction results of Korea, America, Japan, analyzed a primary factor of TBM boring effect and suggested operation development method from the analyzed results. accordingly this study can be used an index when similar construction apply TBM method to planning steps.

Characteristics of pyrolysis and liquid product distribution of ABS plastics have been studied in the thermogravimetric(TG) reactor and bomb microreactor. Pyrolysis reactions were performed at temperature
and yield of each pyrolytic product was obtained by the weight measurement method. The molecular weight distributions of liquid products were determined by the GC-SIMDIS method. It was observed that solid residue which could not be detected in the thermogravimetric experiments was significantly formed in the batch-type microreactor. It was found that the yield and average molecular weight of liquid products were decreased with the increase of reaction temperature and time. but the formation of styrene monomer was significantly increased. The chain-end scission rate parameters were determined to be 54.1kcal/mole far ABS by the Arrhenius plot.

This study grasped the problem by examining the consciousness of professors about the e-Learning and reached a conclusion as follows. The understanding of the e-Learning in university should be reconsidered and diffused. To activate the e-Learning in university, the education system corresponding to course of the coming education should be introduced by hold the seminar and workshop periodically and establish vision and middle-short range policy for the e-Learning. Also, university should manage by characterizing a web-based class with the major for a learner hoping to take a cyber education course and propel contents development and interchange with a foreign university by concluding a convention for taking lectures having competitive power of an advanced country to make a worldwide university.

This paper presents a state-of-the-art survey in ASP/SaaS Industry and the development strategy of ASP/SaaS business models which are issued as a new software distribution method recently. First of all, SaaS(Software as a Service) is defined as the evolutionary concept of ASP(Application Service Provider) and then the survey results of domestic ASP/SaaS providers and users are presented. In order to cope with recent and rapid If development environment, the development strategy of the ASP/SaaS business models is proposed. The development strategy suggested in the paper is used as a guideline for ASP/SaaS providers to enter into the new ASP/SaaS business and improve their competition.
