Experimental Study on Cooling Performance of Multi-Heat Pump by Indoor-Unit Combination

In order to investigate the cooling capacity of multi-heat pump applying an inverter compressor, the experiment on the cooling performance characteristics of heat pump with 3 indoor units was performed under the cooling standard and cooling low-temperature conditions. The system data were measured by the psychrometric calorimeter. The operation characteristics and the behavior of the cooling cycle of the heat pump with 3 indoor units were understood from the cooling capacity, COP, and P-h diagram by indoor-unit combination. The operating load and performance of the multi-heat pump depends on the indoor-unit combination. The cooling capacity and COP of the low temperature condition were larger than those of the standard one. Also the cycle was analyzed by using P-h diagram.

Plastic materials are utilized to the most important material of automobile interior-parts due to special characteristics that it is light, good strength and do not transmute quality even if pass long time. This study presented a preliminary analysis of fill time, weld line, air trap etc. for the plastic injection molding process of automobile gearbox cover through simulation using Moldflow.
Structural Integrity Evaluation of Nuclear Seismic Category IIA 2" Globe Valve for Seismic Loads

To evaluate the structural integrity of the nuclear seismic category IIA bellows seal 2" globe valve under the seismic service conditions the seismic analysis was performed in accordance with ASME, section III, ND-3500, 1989 edition. The finite element computer program, ANSYS, Version 10.0, is used to perform both a mode frequency analysis and an equivalent static seismic analysis of the valve assembly. The mode frequency analysis results show the fundamental natural frequency is greater than 33 Hz and does not exist in seismic range, thus justifying the use of the static analysis. The stresses resulted from various loadings and their combinations are within the allowable limits specified in the above mentioned ASME code. The results of the seismic evaluation fully satisfied the structural acceptance criteria of the ASME code. Accordingly the structural integrity on the globe valve was proved.

This research aims to analyze a die for confectionery and bakery by applying finite element technique. The design of the die was done by Solidworks and the ANSYS code for 3 dimensional finite elements was applied. A new die was designed by the results of stress, strain, and total deformation. This analytical techniques brings improved productivity and saves time in the design of a die.

The magneto-rheological fluid expresses different cohesiveness according to the strength of the external electric current. The magneto-rheological fluid damper, which uses such characteristics of the fluid, generates shear force due to the fluid`s cohesiveness. The core can be said to determine the magneto-rheological fluid damper`s performance. This study uses the finite element analysis to compare the performance of different electromagnetic forces, which are affected by the shapes of the coil, and thus to find the optimum design for the core. In addition, as a step to construct a high-efficient damper, we suggest a type of damper that can control multiple coils and compares the performance of this damper and that of the standard damper by comparing the performance of their electro-magnetic fields.

The design technology to be developed in this study is technology related to the metal panel corner processing method of very high value-added, interior and exterior cladding material, in the architecture. This study is aimed at designing a Bending Die System that enables metal panel corner processing for the first time in Korea, by improving corrosion resistance (durability), weather resistance and elegances (design) for the connecting part of right angle cornering, where most serious problems occur in using metal steel plates of 2.5mm or thicker. This is used as a kind of metal ball and as architectural interior and exterior cladding material.

In this study, the ventilation system of connection passage and elevator hall of underground parking lot in apartment houses is investigated to extract the data for the installation and the application by the experimentation. In case of the elevator hall, actual air exchange rate is predicted fivefold higher than air exchange rate by infiltration and exfiltration. Ventilation system is installed good by supply air and return air. As the next best thing, it is installed by supply air because of IAQ control. The temperature of connection passage and elevator hall uniformly with
, is maintained even if the operating condition of ventilation system is different. Therefore, the installation of the preheater, which is installed at the inlet of ventilation system for the cold draft in winter, is not essential in southern area of Korea.
Experimental Consideration for Vibration Noise, Heat Evaluation on High Speed Mixer

Recently, mixers are being widely used in the display and semiconductor company in order to mix the chemical materials. The mixer normally consists of shaft, hub, reduction gear, and driving motor. It is one of the key design factors to evaluate the dynamic characteristics caused by the rotation. In this study, the dynamic characteristics of the high speed mixer, such as vibration, noise and thermal radiation, are verified by the experiment. Through the experiment, it is shown that the structural unbalance mass of high speed mixer is the important source of the severe vibrations and maximum temperature is mixer bowl.

This paper are using a test apparatus developed in the laboratory, friction and wear characteristics of various rubbers have been analyzed by experimental study. Friction coefficient has been calculated from the measured normal force and friction force under various speed operating conditions, such as, loads and temperatures. Because of good taste and quick cooking, the induction heating type pressure rice cooker is widely used. Since pressure is applied to oven structure, it should be necessary to check the safety evaluation. In this paper, strain gauge experiment is performed in order to evaluate the oven`s strain and its result is compared with that of structural analysis. And water test is performed to evaluate the oven`s permanent deformation. The result is also compared with that of structural analysis. By using these experiments and analyses the safety evaluation method of the oven is suggested.

The market of silver precious metal clay (PMC) is promising as its application for agile metal craft. The property of suitable hardness and shrinkage as well as environment-safe is strictly required as people make the final product with bare hands. We propose a silver PMC with new organic binder made of palm oil, glycolic acid and water. Then we prepared disk specimen of our proposed PMC and well-known commercial PMC. Robust control for DC motor is needed according to the highest precision of industrial automation. However, when a motor control system with PID controller has an effect of load disturbance, it is very difficult to guarantee the robustness of control system. In this paper, PID-Self Tuning control method for motor control system as a compensation method solving this problem is presented. If the PID control system is stable in the sense that the error is inside the constraint set, the supervisory control is idle. If the error hits the boundary of the constraint, the supervisory controller begins operation to force the error back to the constraint set. We prove that the PID-Self Tuning control system is globally stable in the sense that the error is guaranteed to be within the tolerance limits specified by the system designer.

This thesis is about the design of heat sink which is the obstacle in commercializing LED light fixture. It suggests a way of solving the problem by the analysis on heat radiation of LED light fixture using CF-design. As a result of the analysis, the difference of simulation value and the measured temperature of proto-type was derived as less than 6[

Development of 3D Image Processing Software using EMD for Ultrasonic NDE

This paper describes a development of Ultrasonic NDE software to analyze steam generator of nuclear power plant. The developed software includes classical analysis method such as A, B, C and D-scan images. And it can analyze the detected internal cracks using 3D image processing method. To do such, we obtain raw data from specimens of real pipeline of power plants, and get the envelope signal using Empirical Mode Decomposition from obtained ultrasonic 1-dimensional data. The reconstructed 3D crack images offer useful information about the location, shape and size of cracks, even if there is no special 2D image analysis technique. The developed analysis software is applied to specimens containing various cracks with known dimensions. The results of application showed that the developed software provided accurate and enhanced 2D images and reconstructed 3D image of cracks.

In this paper, to bring under robust and accurate control of auto-equipment systems which disturbance, parameter alteration of system, uncertainty and so forth exist, neural network controller called dynamic neural processor(DNP) is designed In order to perform a elaborate task like as assembly, manufacturing and so forth of components, tracking control on the trajectory of power coming in contact with a target as well as tracking control on the movement course trajectory of end-effector is indispensable. Also, the learning architecture to compute inverse kinematic coordinates transformations in the Plants of auto-equipment systems is developed and the example that DNP can be used is explained. The architecture and learning algorithm of the proposed dynamic neural network, the DNP, are described and computer simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning method using the DNP.

Recently, new dispersed generation systems such as photovoltaic, wind power, fuel cell etc. are energetically interconnected and operated in the distribution systems, as one of the national projects for alternative energy with the provision against oil crisis. The technical guidelines on the interconnection of dispersed generation systems have been established and conducted positively. However, protection devices (Re-closer) in primary feeder of distribution system interconnected with photovoltaic generation may cause problems with mis-operation, and then many customers could have problems like an interruption. So, this paper presents the optimal method to minimize the impact of interruption, using both the symmetric method and MATLAB/SIMULINK. And, also this paper shows the effectiveness of proposed method by simulating at the real distribution systems.

We investigated the miniaturized free electron laser(FEL) module based on microcolumn. The miniaturized FEL is composed of two parts: electron generation part and radiation emission part. The radiation emission part, called wiggler, consists of a grid plate. While the electrons are passing through the wiggler, electron trajectory shows sinusoidal curve caused by the periodically applied voltage on the grid, and then it give rise to radiation emission. We analyzed the wiggler parameters, grid width, depth, period, applied voltage and the pair wiggler space using 2-D simulation tool.

This paper propose a novel yield difference model according to layout modification. The difference of average number of faults by layout modification to increase or decrease spaces between geometries is formulated for short faults and open faults. Complex modification including wire bending with jogs is also modeled by dividing patterns into segments and redefining spaces and widths. This model can help to monitor the yield change and to generate a cost function of defect-limited yield quickly.

Recently, In order to provide ubiquitous service, we develop each middleware and interface for sensors networks, RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) and GPS(Global Positioning System). We use GPS for the location-based services, RFID for identifying the distribution logistics services, sensor networks for collecting the context data such as temperature, humidity, barometric pressure. Recently, there is increasing the need of integrated interface for using these sensor elements complexly in agriculture and livestock, construction, medical applications and, etc. This paper developments a integrated common interface for supporting efficiently process of sensing data using RFID, GPS and sensor network. This interface have the filtering function, parsing function, queuing function, interface management function, access function and, etc. We present the integrated frame structure combined with the collected context data in GPS, RFID and sensor networks and, support the open interface for providing complex ubiquitous application systems. Therefore, this interface will be efficiently used the system using RFID, GPS and sensor network, and supported many ubiquitous application services.

This paper presents a method to design CPW (coplanar waveguide) balanced amplifiers using the existing CPW wilkinson balun. In order to realize the required power dividing/combining structure for balanced amplifiers, the CPP wilkinson balun is adopted. The proposed CPW balanced amplifier has much better matching performances than the CPW single-ended amplifier. This study designed and realized a new type of RFID middle-ware based on .NET Compact Framework platform using PXA255 embedded board and Windows CE as operating system. The proposed embedded RFID middle-ware system controls via LAN a number of RFID sensors using RS-232 as interface and was designed on the basis of components of each function necessary RFID middle-ware. Application module operating in the SOA environment analyzes the data received from the RFID sensors with the embedded RFID middle-ware and in turn performs appropriate business logic. Client module to be used by end users can use RFID information in database, by web method call of application.

The PEGASIS protocol is more effective about energy consumption more than LEACH in USN environment. However, PEGASIS is weakness enemy in change of sensor network net composition because It changes BS node frequently. Therefore, we propose new routing protocol that use Sub-Cluster Chaining to solve this problem in this paper. It can reduce overhead that happen in election of middle node doing so and reduce energy consumption. Also, It can supplement limitation that PEGASIS has. A Design and Implementation of HTML Filter for Wireless Internet Service

In this paper, we propose a design and implementation of HTML Filter to provide wireless internet service efficiently. The HTML Filter translates the Web documents written by HTML into the WML documents for portable wireless equipments automatically that are suitable for the WAP environment. The HTML Filter consists of "the HTML lexical analyzer" which gathers HTML source into token units, "the HTML syntax analyzer" which takes the lexical units from the lexical analyzer and analyses grammar for the source, "the HTML abstract parser tree" which can represent meaning of HTML sources more effectively called an intermediate code, and "the target code generator" which can convert the abstract parser tree into WML documents. The proposed translating method using ordinary compiler technology provides more easy and effective than the existing converters, and will be applied to other wireless language translating methods on wireless internet.

USN Middleware plays roles of broker between sensors and applications. It collects sensor data, decides the situation and sends the result to the applications. It is not good to decide the situation from one sensor data, because it may error data or reflect small part of all. In this paper, we propose sensor `group` concept. Group is the primary unit to decide the situation. It consists of several sensors which were installed in the same place and had the same pre-defined condition to act. For example, all fire sensors in the room simultaneously trigger the ring when the same pre-defined temperature is recorded. Then, the all fire sensors are included to the same one sensor group. All operations of the intelligent USN middleware are based on the `group` unit. We studied the intelligent rules of USN middleware based on the group.

This paper studies on the read rate of UHF-band RFID tag. An RFID tag antenna attached on the high permittivity surface will be detuned that results in deteriorating the read rate. In this study, we investigate that the electrical performance for the tag antenna is detuned due to the ceramic material and the read rate is radically improved after tuning the antenna.

Flash Node Caching Scheme for Hybrid Hard Disk Systems

The conventional hard disk has been the dominant database storage system for over 25 years. Recently, hybrid systems which incorporate the advantages of flash memory into the conventional hard disks are considered to be the next dominant storage systems. Their features are satisfying the requirements like enhanced data I/O, energy consumption and reduced boot time, and they are sufficient to hybrid storage systems as major database storages. However, we need to improve traditional index management schemes based on B-Tree due to the relatively slow characteristics of hard disk operations, as compared to flashmemory. In order to achieve this goal, we propose a new index management scheme called FNC-Tree. FNC-Tree-based index management enhanced search and update performance by caching data objects in unused free area of flash leaf nodes to reduce slow hard disk I/Os in index access processes. Based on the results of the performance evaluation, we conclude that our scheme outperforms the traditional index management schemes.
Development of Reduction Methods of Thermal Stresses Due to Hydration Heat

In this paper, a program for simulating hydration heat and stresses was developed. And an effective methods were proposed for reduction of hydration heat stresses using flyash and steel fiber. It was shown that flyash replacement made reduction of peak temperature due to hydration heat. However, the effectiveness of reduction of tensile stress was not as good as it of peak temperature. Not only peak temperature but also tensile stress were reduced by the addition of steel fiber.

This paper presents an investigation on behavior of a simplified composite I-beam bridge(SCIB) based on Korea Bridge Design Specifications(2005). Simple and continuous span SCIBs are considered to determine the design cross section. A structural analysis program, MIDAS(2006), is used to obtain the stress and deflection of the SCIB. In order to evaluate the safety of the design cross section, three-dimensional analysis is performed using ABAQUS(2007). According to the verification results from stresses and deflections of the design section, the new composite bridge are safely used for developments of reasonable and economic SCIB.
A Study on the Standard Drawings of Seoul Elementary School Architecture in 1960~70s

Until 1980s, Korean elementary school architecture has been stereotyped by standard drawings. But there have been very few researches focused on this subject, especially regional one. As an attempt to improve these conditions, this study reviewed standard drawings of elementary school architecture by Education Board of Seoul in 1964 and 1975. Both standard drawings were reviewed through items such as components making a set of standard drawings, floor plan, elevation design and subsidiary facilities. They have rectangular unit classrooms, single-corridor block plan and plain exterior having no symbolic images, which are the characteristics of typical Korean school architecture until 1980s. On the other hand, they reveal the unknown characteristics such as double-corridor block plan, classrooms in basement, toilets of conventional type placed on every floor and changes in details of openings and exterior wall.

Injection molding is one of plastic forming technology which can easily mass-produce plastic parts with various and even complex shape. The technology has lots of difficulties in making a good part due to phase change of material, high applied pressure, and fast melt flow speed in the cavity. To overcome the problems, they had to make trial and error method until the CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) could be a tool for concurrent engineering. In this paper, we investigate the optimal design for a plastic DVD tray part by systematic approach of the commercial CAE program. In design, we should consider two objectives which are both dimensional stability and cost-down. The dimension of the part is crucial because the tray should carry a DVD correctly, but the part is too thin to injection-mold easily. In order to improve the moldability, the mold is designed in the form of stack mold which is a kind of 4 hot runner system. In first, we changed the stack-mold system with one hot-runner to cost down, and decided the optimal position of the gate. After that, we investigate the effect of both the layout of cooling channels and the cooling temperature on the shrinkage of the DVD tray. The treatment efficiency of rotating biological contactors (RBCs) for the high strength of dairy wastewater was investigated. Two different systems were conducted composing of a single RBC with tapered aeration reactors for the system A and a sequential RBCs following tapered aeration reactors for the system B. Experiments using dairy wastewater were conducted for 50 days period of time, in which hydraulic rates were maintained at the constant ratios of 346L per day and variable BOD concentrations were at the range from 1,358mg/L to 829mg/L, the

We analyzed the physical and chemical properties such as proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, heating values, thermogravimetric analysis, and combustion test for the organic sludge discharged from chemical and petrochemical product manufacturing industries in the industrial complex. The average combustible and ash content of organic sludges from chemical and petrochemical product manufacturing industries were 17.42%, 7.45%, and 18.25%, 4.22%, respectively. The C, H, O, N, and S compositions for chemical and petrochemical product manufacturing industries were 33.06, 4.34, 24.81, 5.18, and 0.72%. And those compositions for petrochemical product manufacturing industries were 36.58, 4.74, 26.79, 5.09, and 0.49%, respectively. Development of simulation method for heating line optimization of E-Mold by using commercial CAE softwares

To produce plastic parts that have fine pattern through conventional injection molding, a lot of difficulties follow. Therefore, rapid heating and cooling methods are good candidates for manufacturing injection-molded parts with micro/nano patterns. In this study, we adopted the E-Mold patent technology. The mold for E-Mold technology has a separate heated core with micro heaters. It is very important to optimize the lay-out of the heaters in heated core because it influences both control and distribution of mold temperature. We developed a optimization method of heating line lay-out by using commercial softwares and compared the output with the experimental results. We used Pro-Engineer Wildfire 2.0 for the mold design, ICEMCFD for mesh generation, and FLUENT for heat transfer simulation. The simulation results showed the temperature profile from
during heating and cooling process which were compared with the injection molding experiments. We concluded that the simulation could well explain the experimental results. It was shown that the E-Mold optimization design for heater lay-out could be available through the simulation.

In this study, we analyzed the physical and chemical properties such as proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, heating values, and thermogravimetric analysis for the organic sludges discharged from an industrial complex in Ulsan. The average water, combustible, and ash content of organic sludges were 72.9, 18.5, and 8.6%, respectively. And according to the ultimate analysis of organic sludges, the C, O, H, N, and S compositions were 33.9, 26.4, 4.4, 4.4, and 0.6%, respectively. According to the results of investigating the lower heating values, 6 sludges were on the range of
and 4 sludges were on the range of over 2,000 kcal/kg. Therefore, these 10 sludges could be directly applied to industries which try to use the energy by direct incineration.

The effects of the type of curing agent on the swelling of the natural rubber(NR) sponge applicable to the self-sealing layer of a helicopter fuel tank were investigated. The curing systems employed were peroxide and mixed ones of sulfur and peroxide. The NR compounds were prepared in a kneader and a roll-mill. The compounds were partially cured in a press at high pressure and subsequently cured fully with expansion in another press at atmospheric pressure. The apparent density of the NR sponge was measured and the cell structure was observed with scanning electron microscopy. The swelling experiments were performed at room temperature using toluene, iso-octane, and an aircraft fuel as a solvent. More rapid volume swelling of the NR sponge cured by peroxide was achieved than cured by sulfur and peroxide with similar amount of curing agent added in rubber compounds. The apparent density and cell structure of the sponge were extremely sensitive to the amount of peroxide, which influences again the swelling behavior of the NR sponge. It is important to control properly two reactions of decomposition of foaming agent and crosslinking of NR in the mold to obtain rapid swelling of the NR sponge on contact of the fuel.
Elemental concentrations of atmospheric particles in Cheonan during 2006

To investigate the characteristics of elemental components of atmospheric particles in Cheonan, atmospheric particles were sampled using a high volume air sampler equipped with a 5-stage cascade impactor during 2006. 16 elemental concentrations in fine and coarse particles were determined using ICP-AES and ICP-MS. The total mass concentrations of fine and coarse particles were 33.23 and

, occupying 3.8 and 8.3% of the total mass. Fe, Al, Ti were the most abundant elements in both fine and coarse particles, and the total Pb concentration was 84.55ng/m3, below the National standard. Enrichment factor for Sc, Cr, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Sn, Pb in fine particles were above 1,000. This indicates that the elements in fine particles are mainly from the anthropogenic sources including automobiles.

The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K (hnRNP K) is a component of hnRNP complexes. This protein binds strongly to cytidine-rich RNA/DNA sequences. It is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein. To investigate the functions of hnRNP K, I searched for hnRNP K-interacting proteins in HeLa cDNA library using a yeast two-hybrid screening system. One of the cDNA clones is identical to human hnRNP E1 (poly(rC) binding protein 1) cDNA (GenBank accession number XM_031585). In this study, hnRNP K is shown to specifically interact with hnRNP E1 in yeast two-hybrid system and in vitro biochemical assay.

However the treatment of Shiro-abhyanga made the decrease of Delta and Theta waves and the increase of Alpha wave in working time. Alpha wave appears while objects are comfortable and peaceful from the relaxation of body and mind. Therefore the growth of Alpha wave says that the treatment of Shiro-abhyanga has an effect on mitigation of stress.

Thirty five AD patients were treated with Phellinus linteus grown in germinated brown rice(PB) p.o., at 6, 9, and 12 g/day to the patients with their body weight for 12 weeks. A significant reduction in mean severity scores and mean symptom scores was observed after PB treatment. The mean SCORAD indices pre and post PB treatment were
(p<0.05), respectively. And the mean symptom score of pruritus assessment decreased from
(p<0.05) after PB treatment. These results suggest that PB shows alleviation of atopic dermatitis symptoms.

According to development of electronic commerce, the university`s curriculums related electronic commerce should be renewed and added some chapters. I researched on university curriculums of electronic commerce, which has required by enterprise. In particular, the electronic commerce consist of two parts; IT technology and business management. Therefore it is regarded as a convergence subject. I did a correlation analysis between management`s performance of enterprise and importance of university curriculum on electronic commerce. The questionnaire includes demands of enterprise and e-business model on electronic commerce. The result of this research indicates a necessary of changing by correlation ratio. Based on this research result, I suggest extended curriculums for electronic commerce.
A Study on the effects of one`s blood type on emotional character of children

This study is focused on the effects of one`s blood type on emotional character of children, by comparing each individual`s brain wave. Observed records are from those kids who volunteered for KRIJUS(Korea Research Institute of Jungshin Science)`s brain wave measurement from September 2005 to December 2007. The whole 3018 kids(4-7) group consists of 1322 female and 1696 male. Blood types are A>B>O>AB dominately ordered. The relations between depressive attitude and blood type of an infant couldn`t be found among female. However, male type B had the most numbers of activeness character while type O shown largest rate of depressed condition. Also, the result amongst infant had shown male type B had the most active-positive rate while type AB took large for depressed-negative. The result had shown no relative connection for activity inclination. Third, among the kids type O had highest awareness rate while type A had lowest. This study revealed meaningful relation between blood types and emotional character among several categories, while suggesting follow-up researches figuring out more detailed explanations for its effect and genetic role.

The growth of an information and knowledge based society has changed the base of education from institution-based to a learner-based system. This indicates that the educational purpose and individual characters of the learners are the primary factors for the educational success. In the information and knowledge based society, the Cyber University is a representative example of the new educational paradigm with its online communities, multi-media based education and communication among the learners. The sample of study was 1620 students of a leading cyber university in Seoul, Korea. One of the results in this study showed that satisfaction levels of learning and education do not have significant relationship with age or employment. Rather the lowering level of satisfaction after sufficient adaptation period of cyber education was raised as rising problem.

The manufacturing industry seeks for improvements in efficiency at the manufacturing process. This paper presents a method for effective real time dispatching for parallel machines with multi product that minimizes mean tardiness and maximizes the quality of the product. What is shown in this paper is that using the Rolling Horizon Tabu search method in the real time dispatching process, mean tardiness can be reduced to the minimum. The effectiveness of the method presented in this paper has been examined in the simulation and compared with other dispatching methods. In fact, using this method manufacturing companies can increase profits and improve customer satisfaction as well.
The Effect of Cultural Marketing Activities on a Corporate Brand Asset

This paper is about what is the effect of cultural marketing - which is affecting business ethics and social responsibility - on corporate image and formation of brand asset, and about which is getting more influence by cultural marketing among factors that is forming corporate image and brand asset. The results are like below. First, cultural marketing activities had an indirect influence on the corporate brand asset. Second, cultural marketing had an direct influence on the corporate brand image. Third, cultural marketing had a positive impact on reminding of the brand image. Fourth, social responsibility and business ethics had an indirect influence on the brand loyalty. Fifth, corporate social responsibility and business ethics had a positive impact on the brand image. Sixth, among the corporate social responsibility, community activities played a control variables. Seventh, regarding the characteristics of the respondents it showed that there`s perception gaps among marketing, responsibility and ethics as well as brand assets. All in all, cultural marketing had an indirect effect on formulating corporate brand asset by the means of corporate image. The result is pointing out the importance of establishing a strategic marketing plan that is taking harmony between the character of cultural marketing and media, continuous and long-term plan, connection with the type of the brand asset into account. Moreover, as people realized that corporate business activities are brining not only economic consequences, such as providing goods and services but also social consequences, such as uneven distribution of wealth, dirty links between business and politics, consumers` security, pollution, and etc., companies are reconsidering its own role in society. This reconsideration is called corporate social responsibility and this pushed the company to keep business ethics together with their business.
A comparison and analysis on amounts of physical activity between young children with mental retardation and young children with normal condition using accelerometer

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the amount of physical activity between young children with mental retardation and young children with normal condition using accelerometer. Six children (three children with retardation and other three children with normal condition) were selected as a subject on this research. And measurement of this research was done with the following items;(1)numpeaks accelerometer transverse; PAT, (2) numpeaks accelerometer longitudinal;PAL, (3)heat flux average original rate; HFA, (4) steps per minute(SPM), (5)GSR average. The amount of physical activity for young children with mental retardation shows that they move less that young children with normal condition; young children with mental retardation (PAT-
, young children with normal condition(PAT-
, and PAL-
). This suggests that young children with mental retardation lacks physical ability. And the amount of physical activity for young children with mental retardation was less compared with young children with normal condition. It is concluded that many programs for young children with mental retardation to have more interest and act fast should be introduced and developed in educating young children with mental retardation.
The Research on Job Satisfaction of Home appliances Service Engineer

This study surveyed and analysed the factors that affect the job satisfaction of a home appliances service engineer. The job satisfaction analysis was based on two separate branches: the satisfaction of the current position and the intention to work. As the result, it was apprehended that as far as the individual qualities of the engineer are concerned, personality is a factor that had an effect on job satisfaction. Concerning the organisational qualities, it was analysed that social support, allowances and welfare were factors that contributed largely; and concerning the work itself, it was acknowledged that the appropriateness of the work influenced job satisfaction. To conclude, it was analysed that to increase job satisfaction, it would be important first and foremost to employ employees who have extroversive personalities, to take good care of the allowances and welfare of the employees and to distribute appropriately the amount of work.
Effect of 1-Methylcyclopropene(1-MCP) on the Postharvest Life and Fruit Quality of Cucumber

Effects of 1-MCP(1-methylcyclopropene) on the postharvest life and fruit quality of cucumber `Baekdadaki` were investigated. Cucumber were held at room and cold chamber(
) treated with several concentrations of 1-MCP. Physico-chemical characteristics such as fresh weight and firmness were greatly varied during storage, and the treatment with I-MCP(500ppb) showed the minimal loss of the values at harvest. The peel b value representing a senescence process was higher investigated in 1-MCP(250 and 1,000ppb treatment, and led to the apparent yellowing and softening after cold storage for 15 days. 1-MCP(500ppb) showed lower decay rate and better marketability of cucumber than other treatments after cold storage for 15 days. The respiration rate was higher found in cucumber treated with 1-MCP(250ppb) than in other treatment. Ethylene evolution was most detected in cucumber treated with 1-MCP(1000ppb) after room storage for 6 days. 1-MCP did not affect the production of ethylene in cucumber during room and cold storage.
A Comparison Study on Back-Propagation Neural Network and Support Vector Machines for the Image Classification Problems

This paper explores the classification performance of applying to support vector machines (SVMs) for the image classification problems. In this study, we extract the color, texture and shape features of natural images and compare the performance of image classification using each individual feature and integrated features. The experiment results show that classification accuracy on the basis of color feature is better than that based on texture and shape features and the results of the integrating features also provides a better and more robust performance than individual feature. In additions, we show that the proposed classifier of SVM based approach outperforms BPNN to corporate the image classification problems.
