Automatic Classification of Failure Patterns in Semiconductor EDS Test for Yield Improvement

In the semiconductor manufacturing, yield enhancement is an urgent issue. It is ideal to prevent all the failures. However, when a failure occurs, it is important to quickly specify the cause stage and take countermeasure. Reviewing wafer level and composite lot level yield patterns has always been an effective way of identifying yield inhibitors and driving process improvement. This process is very time consuming and as such generally occurs only when the overall yield of a device has dropped significantly enough to warrant investigation. The automatic method of failure pattern extraction from fail bit map provides reduced time to analysis and facilitates yield enhancement. Modeling and simulation of CNP-applied network security models with application of fuzzy rule-based system

Attempts to attack hosts in the network have become diverse, due to crackers developments of new creative attacking methods. Under these circumstances the role of intrusion detection system as a security system component gets considerably importance. Therefore, in this paper, we have suggested multiple intrusion detection system based on the contract net protocol which provides the communication among multiple agents. In this architecture, fuzzy rule based system has been applied for agent selection among agents competing for being activated. The simulation models are designed and implemented based on DEVS formalism which is theoretically well grounded means of expressing discrete event simulation models.
Distributed Simulation models of Petri Nets under HLA/RTI

In this study, a distributed simulation of Petri net models under HLA/RTI framework is considered. Throughout our modeling experiences, it is recognized that the proper use of interface specification and time management services are important in order to achieve successful implementation of RTI. The interfacing tokens between Petri net models are distinguished as information entity and physical entity. Both entities are modeled as InteractionClass in order to send and receive messages. For the synchronization of local simulation clocks, a conservative method with NERA service is considered. A cell manufacturing system is modeled and implemented with RTI to illustrate the distributed simulation of Petri net models.
A QoS Management Scheme on Dynamic SLA in B3G Networks

Service Level Agreement (SLA) is a service providing scheme by a service class agreement between a user and a service provider SLA allows that a user can select an expected service class in various service classes provided from a service provider. Recently, SLA management is adapted to support the end-to-end Qos for service users in Beyond 3 Generation (B3G) networks. In B3G networks, SLA provides multiple service classes on access networks so that service classes should be managed to assure the service satisfaction for users. In this paper, we propose a dynamic Qos management scheme by IP traffic class controlling based on SLA in B3G networks. Also, to manage dynamic traffic service, we consider Differentiated services (Diffserv) mechanism for the resource management by SLA. An If service traffic class on SLA can be dynamically changed by Diffserv traffic management to support dynamic end-to-end Qos. Hence, in this paper, we consider the buffer threshold scheme for controlling traffic loads and the traffic level control scheme for implementing the dynamic traffic management by the SLA.
A study on Batch-processing in Performing Design-changes of Robot-links using Parametric Method

We developed the module of the software that robot designers can perform their work faster and more easily. The parametric modeler is founded on the virtual robot design program. The virtual robot design program is the powerful software which may be used to solve various problems of robot kinematics and dynamics. The parametric modeler in the software we developed is that all the positions of joints and links are changed automatically when the designer changes one joint or one link in the robot system. Without parametric method, robot-designers must change all the positions of connected joints and links. It might become time-consuming. However, it is very efficient for designers to use the method of batch-processing in performing design-changes of robot-links using the parametric modeler.
