Digital Watermarking Method for User's Certification of Camera-Phone

In the event of a traffic accident, a fire accident, or a criminal act, anyone will be able to capture these important moments and use authentic photographs for evidence purposes. Digital watermarking is able to ensure that the digital photographs taken from a particular camera-phone are authentic and indeed. This paper presents a blind image watermarking technique for digital phone camera. This method is based on singular value decomposition (SVD) and wavelet decomposition. Experimental results show that the proposed technique performs well in security and robustness against JPEG compression.
Home Automation System Development for Security

This paper, in the field of home automation with increased security, is to develop a function of storing and inquiring images, which are taken by the camera of a videophone connected to DVR devices. Particularly, as soon as visitors push a bell button, the images of them are stored automatically and let us check the information of them Besides, we can monitor the status of an empty house with varieties of sensors. Information of these can be checked out through internet in real-time by home automation and web-based systems. Finally, we developed home security system that sends a homeowner a text message about the status of the house in case of strange things happening at the empty house.
Development of e-Menu embedded System using Bluetooth

In recent years, embedded applications have emerged at a fast rate and used in every field of one can think of ranging from household products such as microwaves, to automotive products such as air bags sensing and control, to industrial robots. In this paper, a wireless ordering system is developed using Bluetooth communications. The features of this system is the order is performed by the customers rather than the waiters. It can save time to wait until the attenders to take order. Also, the unintended ordering mistakes through waiters can be prevented. The developed system is connected to the kitchen and the counter for automatic checkout.
A Study on the Image Steganographic method using Multi-pixel Differencing and LSB Substitution Methods

A data hiding method based on least significant bit (LSB) substitution and multi-pixel differencing (MPD) is presented on the proposed method to improve the capacity of the hidden secret data and to provide an imperceptible visual quality. First, a sum of different values for four-pixel sub-block is calculated. The low value of the sum can be located on a smooth block and the high value is located on an edged block. The secret data are hidden into the cover image by LSB method in the smooth block, while MPD method in the edged block. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a higher capacity and maintains a good visual quality.
Authoring Tool for Mobile Contents based on LASeR

MPEG 4 Part 20 LASeR (ISO/IEC 14496 20) is a specification designed to deliver rich media services in a mobile environment. The specification is an emerging standard that can replace the MPEG 4 BIFS specification designed to deliver PC based heavyweight media contents. The specification describes the representation of scene information in a resource constrained mobile environment. Unlike the BIFS standard designed to deliver heavyweight rich media, the LASeR specification has a restricted description that conforms to the SVG Tiny 1.2 specification. Also, the specification has an advantage of allowing for the efficient conversion of one graphics format to another. In this paper, we present the design and the implementation of a LASeR authoring system that allows for fast and efficient creation of interactive rich media contents in a mobile environment. The Gill interface of the authoring system presented in this paper allows users, who do not have prior knowledge of the scene description language, to conveniently create contents and store the produced scenes using the internal list data structure. The system allows users to navigate scene objects internally stored and to create LASeR XML files in the structured XML format.
Analysis on Factors Affecting Knowledge Sharing Behavior in Virtual Community

This study focuses on identifying motivation factors affecting knowledge sharing behavior in virtual communities. To achieve this research objective, a research model has been developed through two major coordinated theories such as social cognitive theory(self-efficacy and community-related outcome expectation) and social exchange theory (codification effort, image, reciprocity, and enjoyment in helping others). 246 samples have been collected and simple regression and multiple regression methods have been used for empirical analysis. The research result is that self-efficacy has a positive influence on image, reciprocity, enjoyment in helping others, and community-related outcome expectation and thus this result reveals that self-efficacy indirectly affects knowledge sharing behavior. Among the antecedents of knowledge sharing behavior, codification effort, enjoyment in helping others and community-related outcome expectation are significant, but image and reciprocity are not. The research results help to derive practical strategic implications related to knowledge sharing to activate a virtual community.
Detecting Steganographic Contents Using EWM Statistics

For a message hiding technique to be effectual, it needs to have availability, confidentiality and integrity. Steganography is the science of hiding one message within other types of digital contents. In this case, attempt to defeat steganalysis by restoring the statistics of the composite image to resemble that of the cover, these discrepancies expose the fact that hidden communication is happening. In this paper, I present a steganography scheme capable of concealing a piece of secrete information in a host image and base on the technique's OCT, RGB, statistical restoration.
Effects of the Integration of Phased Activity and Change Management Activity of the Implementation Process on ERP Performance

Recently implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with packaged business software is growing rapidly. The purpose of this article is to provide further insights into the business process change and change management in implementation process of ERP systems. This paper examine an survey of some 146 firms' adoption and implementation of packaged ERP software. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach of business process change and change management of the implementation process. This research highlights the importance of change management for implementing ERP. In addition, we empirically reveals that the eventual success of ERP systems depends on effective business process change and change management during the ERP implementation.
An Empirical Study for the Management Performance of Primary Medical Centers

This study investigates the management performance of primary medical centers on the basis of power process perspective to suggest the direction for their competitive advantages. To do so, this study conducts the questionnaire survey to middle and top managers of primary medical centers in Seoul, Incheon, and Kyoungki Province and analyzes the data by using cluster analysis and variance analysis of SPSS statistical package. According to the results, the types of primary medical centers are determined by the interaction of power determinants variables, and the type of primary medical centers which has the strongest interaction of power determinants variables shows the highest management performance compared to other types.
ERP System Education/Training and Other Related Factors Which Have Critical Influence On ERP Implementation Success

In the 1990s and 2000s there was considerable growth in implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) Systems. It is estimated that the ERP market will grow to about $65 billion by 2009. Companies expect these systems to support many of the day to day business transactions. However, the implementation projects of ERP are big, strategic and complex projects which involve lots of time, scope and costs. Because of that, companies have to create conditions, in which they can implement chosen solution in expected time, scope and budgeted costs. This means that companies should be aware of what most critical factors for success of ERP implementations are. This study will first investigate the ERP implementation CSFs by studying prior published researches on the field of ERP implementation. Then, this study will discuss in depth some important factors of ERP implementation and represent preliminary results CSFs of ERP implementation empirical survey.
An Improvement of Image Encryption using Binary Phase Computer Generated Hologram and Multi XOR Operations

In this paper, we proposed an improvement technique of image encryption using binary phase computer generated hologram(BPCGH) and multi exclusive-OR(XOR) operations. For the encryption process, a BPCGH that reconstructs the original image is designed, using an iterative algorithm, and the resulting hologram is regarded as the image to be encrypted. The BPCGH is encrypted through the exclusive-OR operation with the random generated phase key image. Then the encrypted image is divided into several slide images using XOR operations. So, the performance of encryption for the image is improved. For the decryption process, we cascade the encrypted slide images and phase key image and interfere with reference wave. Then decrypted hologram image is transformed into phase information. Finally, the original image is recovered by an inverse Fourier transformation of the phase information. If the slide images are changed, we can get various decrypted BPCGH images. In the proposed security system, without a random generated key image, the original image can not be recovered. And we recover another hologram pattern according to the slide images, so it can be used in the differentiated authorization system.
