Minimal Leakage Pattern Generator

This paper proposes a new input pattern generator for minimal leakage power in the nanometer CMOS technology considering all the leakage current components (sub-threshold leakage, gate tunneling leakage, band-to-band tunneling leakage). Using the accurate macro-model, a heuristic algorithm is developed to generate a input pattern for the minimum leakage. The algorithm applies to ISCAS85 benchmark circuits, and the results are compared with the results of Hspice. The simulation result shows that our method's accuracy is within a 5% difference of the Hspice simulation results. In addition, the simulation time of our method is far faster than that of the Hspice simulation.
A Visual-Based Logic Minimization Method

In many instances a concise form of logic is often required for building today's complex systems. The method described in this paper can be used for a wide range of industrial applications that requires Boolean type of logic minimization. Unlike some of the previous logic minimization methods, the proposed method can be used to better gain insights into the logic minimization process. Based on the decimal valued matrix, the method described here can be used to find an exact minimized solution for a given Boolean function. It is a visual based method that primarily relies on grouping the cell values within the matrix. At the same time, the method is systematic to the extent that it can also be computerized. Constructing the matrix to visualize a logic minimization problem should be relatively easy for the most part, particularly if the computer-generated graphs are accompanied.
Performance Analysis of Real-time Retransmission in LR-WPAN

In this paper, we propose a real-time service based on retransmission slot in low rate WPAN. In the proposed scheme, during the communication period of the beacon-enabled mode in LR-WPAN standard, a special GTSs is dynamically assigned for retransmission of the packet that fails during a real-time service such as voice. This provides a time diversity in the severe channel error environments to support the required QoS. Analytical results show that this scheme achieves a much higher throughput and better transmission success rate per GTS slot than conventional schemes such as a common reserved scheme in LR WPAN.
Development of miniaturized dual-frequency FM transmitter

In this paper, the miniaturized FM transmitter with dual-frequency is developed, and tested in the field. In this system two frequencies 88.1 MHz and 88.3 MHz is used. The transmitter is designed with 2.6 cm^3 system size, horizontal, vertical, height respectively. The operating voltage is 3.7 V and used the built-in storage battery in order to minimize. The system can use continuously during 7 hour with once charging. The channel separation ability is 40 dB. Consequently, this system is used conveniently with short distance information transmitter system at the industry field.

Recently, as smartphones are quickly spread to the general public, there are making a difference for use of information and communication methods. In this paper, mobile-based Performance Evaluation Management System(PEMS) that can make middle and high school teachers efficiently manage tasks of performance evaluation was implemented. That were applied to the performance evaluation of teachers. As a result, the tasks of teachers in the performance evaluation was reduced and teachers are able to concentrate on the guidance for students.
Design and Implementation of The Efficient Andong Bus Route System using a Location Information

Currently various applications related to bus route are used on smart devices to obtain bus arrival times, and route information. However, applications are unable to provide various ways for users to provide their destination. This study has designed an algorithm based on user's six patterns. An Android application and a server that communicate with each other have been based on the algorithm. The applications and the server use the Google Maps service and location-based information to provide users with possible routes from the starting place to the destination. They also provide user's with users' current position and any transfer information. They provide practical and efficient information, and are easy to use.
Design of Location Based Social Network Service Model Centering around Smart Phone

Recently, LBS(Location Based Service) is expanding its service areas with the spread of smart phones and the contents of the service are more individualized according to the customer's needs. Specially, LBSNS(Location Based Social Network Service) is emerging as the most promising service of LBS. This paper introduces a LBSNS model to form a community to share common contents dynamically centering around the place of user's smart phone. The methodology suitable for implementing the effective management and the automatic update of the community of social network is presented in this paper. In addition, we describe the significant future researches of LBSNS under the upcoming mobile environment.
Implementation of a smart ticketing system using mobile devices

In general the tickets are essential to buy goods and take services, which are used in various fields of modern society, and there have been several types of tickets such as a paper and an RFID chip. However, the conventional system has a problem like a loss of ticket or forge. thus there have many efforts to compensate the problem. In this paper, by improving the conventional system through the connection between a smart-phone with a server system, a smart ticketing system without paper tickets is proposed. The proposed system can support efficient services for managers and users in terms of timesaving and reliability. The proposed system can be applied in various similar fields requiring a ticket system.
Students' information communication skill affecting relationship among technology acceptance, education service quality, relationship quality, and education service satisfaction

Considering education process in university, We will have consensus about that has not satisfied exactly individual student's needs. Because education in university has the process that one person contract diverse many people in same time. So, we consider about that if students have used more information communication technology, they have more satisfaction in education process and contents. Our research verify these hypotheses that students' high degree of technology acceptance tendency affect degree of relationship quality, education service quality, and education service satisfaction to be high. And these relationship are affected by level of students' using information communication technology. As a results, if students have high degree of technology acceptance then they have high degree of relationship quality, education service quality, and education service satisfaction. Also, enough students to use information and communication technology has moderate effect about these relationship. This study was conducted at university is located in the province's small and medium-sized cities. Therefore, future training will utilize its contents have been more effective.
Transformation from IDEF4 models to UML models

IDEF is a widely used methodology for traditional structured software development. As object-oriented softwares are widely used, an object-oriented version of IDEF, IDEF4, is developed. UML is de facto standard for object-oriented software development methods. Whereas IDEF is widely used for CALS/EC, UML is used for general object-oriented software development. Most software developers are not familiar with IDEF4 but familiar with UML. Moreover, UML has many CASE tools. So we can develop software efficiently if we convert IDEF4 model to UML model. In this paper, we transform IDEF4 models to UML models. We explain the rules and methods to convert IDEF4 model to UML model and applied the transform methods and rules to a case study.
A Study on the Factors Affecting Smart Learning -Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Learning Time-

This study was performed to figure out the effects of perceived usefulness and ease of use in Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) affecting acceptance attitude and intention to use in smart learning. In addition, the study recognized the need for differentiation of learning time by analyzing the difference of effects influencing acceptance attitude of perceived usefulness and ease of use during learning time, which is at the beginning, midterm, and at the end of the term. As the results of the study, it showed that there were differences between the factors, the learning time of which was considered, affecting acceptance attitude and intention to use. Furthermore, in order to improve the effectiveness of building a smart campus, which is currently under the construction, the study argued that universities need to consider the learning relevance and subjective norm as important factors in perceived usefulness of smart learning. Finally, the need for the design of various smart learning types became accepted considering learning time.
Field Data Collection and Failure Analysis for Durability Improvement

The purpose of this paper is to develop a reliability estimation process of agricultural machinery components using field failure data. Estimating the durability is a time-consuming in the product development process. Using the field data of tractor, failures for major parts are investigated and databases are developed. Accelerated life test using the stress analysis could improve Weibull B10 considerably. This estimation process is useful for preparing the design input and planning the durability target.
Effects of Ease of Use and Usefulness of Smart Phones on Switching Barrier, Customer Loyalty

This study focused on analyzing the effects of ease of use, usefulness on switching barrier and loyalty in the Korean telecommunication market. This study formulated a structural equational model, in which ease of use was adapted as an exogenous variable and in which usefulness, switching barrier were included as intermediate variables, having influences to the endogenous variable such as customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this study 6 hypotheses had been formulated, on which this research model was based, in order to test the significance of structured paths, suggested, in the previous articles, that having high interactive effects. This study collected the effective questionnaires of 452 respondents who had jobs nationwide and who used the telecommunication terminals and then analyzed with AMOS19 and SPSS19 to test the hypotheses. As a result, the conclusions are as follows: First, the ease of use and usefulness had significant effects on the switching barrier. Secondly, ease of use had a significant effect on the usefulness of customers, by which customers' satisfaction was influenced at low significant level. After all, the effects of ease of use and usefulness on switching barrier and satisfaction of the users of smart phones had been shown at the highest level.
An Empirical Study of ERP Systems Customizing and Performance of SMEs in Korea and China

This paper mainly focuses on an empirical study for performance analysis which is caused by customizing of ERP systems. To conduct this study, four companies are selected in Korea and China, two companies for each country. This paper actually considers four factors for performance analysis of ERP adoption such as financial performance, user satisfaction, competitiveness, and ERP systems adoption, and the analysis of utilization performance is based on nine factors in terms of customizing of ERP systems. As a result of the analyzed results, we conduct comparison analysis about ERP systems customizing of the companies in Korea and China and suggest how to optimally customize for successful ERP systems adoption and application.
Services Innovation Using Web Technology: A Case of Consumer Adoption of Family Restaurant Web Sites

Today, a web site is used as a strategic method to fulfill a company's objectives. In particular, a web site provides a service for customers to find satisfaction in visiting family restaurants, and it recently has helped to attract the interest of a variety of customers. Currently, companies that manage family restaurants operate their Web sites as strategic tools and use them to perform public relations and marketing of their restaurants. This effort influences management and helps to improve the business and profitability of family restaurants. The research model of this study is an expansion of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and examines whether ease of use and usefulness of family restaurant web sites influence the relationship of intention to use, actual use, and recommendation to use by gender. The results of this research would suggest that web sites are useful in establishing a marketing strategy for companies that operate family restaurants.
A Study on Exploring Factors Influencing Continuance Intention in the SNS

Social Network Service is a web-based service that allows the people to construct relationship among users with same interest and supports various activities such as managing personal relations and sharing information or contents. Based on the IS Post-Acceptance model and Success Model, this study examines factors influencing the continuance intention in the SNS. Questionnaires are collected from 275 students who are using the SNS. The results are following: first, the perceived usefulness and satisfaction have positive effect on the continuance intention. Second, the perceived usefulness, confirmation, system quality and information quality have positive effect on the satisfaction. Third, the confirmation has positive effect on the perceived usefulness. Fourth, the system quality and information quality have positive effect on the confirmation. Fifth, the satisfaction is the strongest predictor of the continuance intention and the perceived usefulness is the strongest predictor of the satisfaction.
A Priority Analysis on E-Commerce Security Factors - Focused on Researchers and Practitioners

In e-commerce environment, security should be considered as an essential factor for success. In this paper, we analyze security requirements for e-commerce system, and it is focused on the practical usage, not theoretical contribution, in the field of e-commerce security. To identify the security requirements being specific to e-commerce environment, the researches related to e-commerce security are surveyed and a phase of Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) are used to determine the relative importance of e-commerce security factors. Since researchers and practitioners can have significantly different views because of each different work environment, we divide the professionals into two respondents' group. This survey result can be useful security guidelines in the development of e-commerce service system from the initial system development step to the completion.
User Acceptance of Social Network Games on Smart Devices: An Extension to the Technology Acceptance Model

Today smart devices such as smart phones, smart pads and tablets have become necessities of modern people in both daily life and business as they have widely proliferated. One of the most popular application areas of smart devices is a game-related area. Among these applications social network games, played with other users through social networks, are ranked top in their popularity. Though much research of PC games and online games have been performed, little research of social network games and the factors affecting acceptance of social network games are not vigorous yet. Therefore, we aim to analyze the factors and their structural influence on acceptance of social network games. We add a couple of factors such as Social interaction, Mobility, Subjective Norm, and Flow reg arding the characteristics of social network games and analyze the structural relationships among these factors using Structural Equation Modeling. Analysis results and implications are suggested with concluding remarks.
Strategic Implications of Dynamic Causal Structure of Hype Cycle for the Sustainable Growth of Advanced IT

In order to draw some strategic implications for the sustainable growth of emerging technologies this paper attempts to dynamics underlying the 'hype cycle' ever occurring in course of coevolution of technology and society. Particularly, a series of basic questions in the context of sustainability are explored to answer by simulating the hype system structure: What makes hype cycle occur? how to enhance the tapering level at the final stage of coevolution? what are the key policy leverages and when is the right time for the policy intervention? This study perhaps give some insights not necessarily to the academics but also to the practitioners and policy makers.
A Study of Improving Project Management and Supervision Cost Estimation of Intelligent Transport Systems

Since Intelligent Transport Systems(ITS) is a complex project combining technology and system of transportation, information and communication and civil engineer, it needs a specialized management activities. However, it is difficult to judge who has responsibility for a shoddy and fault construction since the role between project management and supervision is very ambiguous. The aim of this study is propose an efficient project management and supervision for ITS reflecting the characteristics of ITS. Therefore, we suggest a statistical models using nonlinear regression model to prepare the project management and supervision compensation criteria, hence, we choose the realistic and validation statistical model.
