Implementation of a silicon sludge recycling system for solar cell using multiple centrifuge

This paper explained about the sludge recycling system which retrieved the silicon and abrasive from solar cell wafer slicing. The basic process of the recycling system was multiple centrifuge and secondary processes of ultra sonic agitation, addition of alcohol-water solution and heating sludge was added for raising separation efficiency. The recycling rate was about 96% and 94% for 2N, 4N silicon respectively. The SiC abrasive recycling rate was about 80%. To retrieve the high purity of 4N silicon, the heat process in vacuum furnace was added to remove remaining impurity components.
An Investigation of Haptic Interaction in Online Negotiation between different native language people

Due to the development of internet technology, the online business trade becomes an active area. Online negotiation supporting systems have been developing very actively in recent years to meet the growing needs. We have been studying on the effect that the haptic device brings about in interaction through online negotiation between two parties. In order to meet the online negotiation`s requirements, the developed interface should be able to protect user`s anonymity, convey user`s emotion and make the scene alive.In this study, we adopt haptic interaction as a means of conveying emotion in an online negotiation between Japanese and Chinese people. In this study, our goal is to investigate the effectiveness of haptic interaction in communications between Chinese and Japanese users and analyze the characteristis in operation the haptic device. We conducted online negotiation experiments with and without haptic interaction . The comparison experiments results show that the haptic feedback can help to convey the emotion and the sense of presence. The Chinese subjects` feedback for the questionaire concerning the emotional communication and the sense of presence varies slightly compared to the Japanese subjects. We also found when using the haptic device, the force feedback can influence subject`s feelings.There is little significant difference between the advanced and the medium subjects in negotiation dialogues and the haptic device`s operation, the beginner subjects are slightly at a disadvantage.
Color Recommendation for Text Based on Colors Associated with Words

In this paper, we propose a new method to select colors representing the meaning of text contents based on the cognitive relation between words and colors, Our method is designed on the previous study revealing the existence of crucial words to estimate the colors associated with the meaning of text contents, Using the associative probability of each color with a given word and the strength of color association of the word, we estimate the probability of colors associated with a given text. The goal of this study is to propose a system to recommend the cognitively plausible colors for the meaning of the input text. To build a versatile and efficient database used by our system, two psychological experiments were conducted by using news site articles. In experiment 1, we collected 498 words which were chosen by the participants as having the strong association with color. Subsequently, we investigated which color was associated with each word in experiment 2. In addition to those data, we employed the estimated values of the strength of color association and the colors associated with the words included in a very large corpus of newspapers (approximately 130,000 words) based on the similarity between the words obtained by Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA). Therefore our method allows us to select colors for a large variety of words or sentences. Finally, we verified that our system cognitively succeeded in proposing the colors associated with the meaning of the input text, comparing the correct colors answered by participants with the estimated colors by our method. Our system is expected to be of use in various types of situations such as the data visualization, the information retrieval, the art or web pages design, and so on.
A New Architecture to Offload Network Traffic using OpenFlow in LTE

Next generation cellular applications and smart phone usage generate very heavy wireless data traffic. It becomes ineluctable for mobile network operators to have multiple core network entities such as Serving Gateway and Packet Data Network Gateway in 4G-LTE to share this high traffic generated. A typical configuration consists of multiple serving gateways behind a load-balancer which would determine which serving gateway would service a end-users`request. Such hardware is expensive, has a rigid policy set, and is a single point of failure. Another perspective of today`s increasingly high data traffic is that besides it is being widely accepted that the high bandwidth L TE provides is creating bottlenecks for service providers by the increasing user bandwidth demands without creating any corresponding revenue improvements, a hidden problem that is also passively advancing on the newly emerging 4G-LTE that may need more immediate attention is the network signaling traffic, also known as the control-plane traffic that is generated by the applications developed for smartphones and tablets. With this as starting point, in this paper, we propose a solution, by a new approach considering OpenFlow switch connected to a controller, which gains flexibility in policy, costs less, and has the potential to be more robust to failure with future generations of switches. This also solves the problem of scaling the control-plane traffic that is imperative to preserve revenue and ensure customer satisfaction. Thus, with the proposed architecture with OpenFlow, mobile network operators could manipulate the traffic generated by the control-plane signaling separated from the data-plane, besides also reducing the cost in installing multiple core-network entities.

In this paper, for the cloud system by explaining how the forensic aspects of the investigation. This paper on the forensic aspects of the cloud system by proposing a crime scene investigation procedures, investigative support, and aiding in the systematic collection of data to support evidence.
Design and Implementation of the Chronic Disease Management Platform based on Personal Health Records

To propagate clinical disease management service, there should be built a ecosystem where service developers, service providers, device suppliers closely cooperate for u-Health platform. However, most u-Health platform is difficult to build an effective ecosystem due to the lack of secure and effective PHR(Personal Health Record) management, the lack of personalized and intelligent service, difficulties of N-screen service. To solve these problems we suggest the CDMP(Chronic Disease Management Platform) architecture. The CDMP is a software platform that provides the core functions to develop the chronic disease management services and performs a hub function for the link and integration rbetween various services and systems. CDMP is SOA based platform that enables a provision of reusability, expansibility and it provides open API where everybody can share information, contents and services easily. CDMP supports the multi platform system foN-screen service and the self management functions via SNS. In this paper, we design and implement the CDMP including PHR service based on hybrid data model for privacy preservation. Experiment results prove the effectiveness of hybrid model-based PHR service.
A Software Framework for Verifying Sensor Network Operations and Sensing Algorithms

Most of sensor networks are difficult to be debugged, verified, and upgraded once they are deployed in the fields, for they are usually deployed in real world and large scale. Therefore, before deploying the sensor networks, we should test and verify them sufficiently in realistic testbeds. However, since we need to control physical environments which interact with sensor networks, it takes much of time and cost to test and verify sensor networks at the level of resource-constrained sensor nodes in such environments. This paper proposes an efficient software framework for evaluating and verifying sensor networks in the view points of network and application operations (i.e., accuracy of sensing algorithms). Applying the proposed software framework to the development of a simulator for a smart parking application based on wireless sensor network, this paper verifies the feasibility of the proposed framework.
The Study of the SOA Enabled ERP Systems Implementation in Service Industry: Case Study

The primary objective of this research is to explain how to implement the Service Oriented Architecture (hereafter SOA) enabled Enterprise Resource Planning (hereafter ERP) system successfully for service industries. An implementation of the ERP system help many organizations to alleviate the difficult job of supporting inflexible or legacy systems that in most cases result in cost increases, data redundancy and inaccuracy, and various inefficiencies. However, the ERP system is losing its market share rapidly to the cloud computing system which utilizes the Software-as-a-service (hereafter SaaS) and SOA. The SOA is an approach to integrate various types of IT resources to leverage existing ERP system, while at the same time building an infrastructure that can readily respond to new business environment and offer new dynamic applications. The companies that implement this system have less of a need for the kinds of all-in-one ERP system that have dominated the back office for decades and can move freely to best-of-breed applications. This research will identify the benefits and costs of the SOA enabled ERP system through case studies and its impact on competitive priorities such as cost, quality, delivery, and flexibility.
A Study of the Measurement of the Perceived Distances among Programming Languages

Although the educational institutions of computers have evolved to train students in pace with the changes of computing, many students still believe that computer programming is hard to be mastered. The reluctance of students toward programming languages have been tied to the decrease of computer-related majors and now many countries are in short of computer programmers. By investigating the similarities among eleven popular programming languages, this research is intended to measure the relative distances and understand the dimensions that scattered the languages.
A Study on Repurchase Intention for the Products of Social Enterprise

This study investigated the effect of willing assistance and social responsibility, which motivate one to buy products from social enterprise, upon functional and emotional values, company image and repurchase. To that end, survey was conducted on the subject of customers buying social enterprise products. 178 responses were used to verify research hypotheses through covariate structural equation model. The study results are as follows: First, willing assistance and social responsibility for buying products from social enterprise were shown to have significant effects on functional and emotional values. Second, functional and emotional values were presented to have significant impacts on company image and repurchase intention. Third, company image has a significant effect on repurchase intention.
