Development of Web Application Based on N-screen for Play Activities of Children with Developmental Disorder

In the modern society, instructional methods using diverse media have appeared thanks to the development of Information & Communication Technology, and applicability of such instructional methods has been fully corroborated. However, customized contents allowing for disabled children's environment are still insufficient. Hence, this study produced educational contents of play activities for children with developmental disability, through applying N-screen technology, IT technology that can provide the same contents via a variety of digital media. The produced contents allow programs to be set up according to a child's individual characteristics and be carried out anywhere and anytime via an Internet-enabled digital device. Further, the developed contents were produced so that they could be accessed from a child's various environment (home, school, etc.) via a PC, a smart phone, a portable from a child's various environment (home, school, etc.) via a PC, a smart phone, a portable device, etc. and that the same educational program could be conducted in linkage at home, school, etc. Three children with Intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder were applied to the manufactured content. As a result, Content interaction between interaction between teachers and students in play training could use as a medium.In addition, the children's ability to select the appropriate components and reinforcements, special education professionals have used the content of the interviews are helpful in mediation than the existing content.
I/O Performance Analysis about Memory Allocation of the UBIFS

Flash memory is mostly used on smart devices and embedded systems because of its nonvolatile memory, low power, quick I/O, resistant shock, and other benefits. Generally the typical file systems base on the NAND flash memory are YAFFS2, JFFS2, UBIFS, and etc. In this paper, we had variously made an experiment regarding I/O performance using our schemes and the UBIFS of the latest Linux Kernel. The proposed I/O performance analyses were classified as a sequential access and a random access. Our experiment consists of 6 cases using kmalloc(), vmalloc(), and kmem_cache(). As a result of our experiment analyses, the sequential reading and the sequential rewriting increased by 12%, 11% when the Case 2 has applied vmalloc() and kmalloc() to the UBI subsystem and the UBIFS. Also, the performance improved more by 7.82%, 6.90% than the Case 1 at the random read and the random write.
The development of fall detection system using 3-axis acceleration sensor and tilt sensor

The problem of elderly people with weak physical health has become a very important issue in the aging society. Elderly people with very low judgment and decision-making skills often falls because of the degradation of the strength and balance. Due to the fall triggered off fractures, parenchyma damage, and casualties, generally fast emergency treatment is needed. In this paper, an automatic fall detection system consisting of a triaxial accelerometer and tilt sensor. Using the fall system, the performance of the system was analyzed in many situations. The experimental results showed more than 92% analytical skills.
Music Mood Classification based on a New Feature Reduction Method and Modular Neural Network

This paper focuses on building a generalized mood classification model with many mood classes instead of a personalized one with few mood classes. Two methods are adopted to improve the performance of mood classification. The one of them is feature reduction based on standard deviation of feature values, which is designed to solve the problem of lowered performance when all 391 features provided by MIR toolbox used to extract features of music. The experiments show that the feature reduction methods suggested in this paper have better performance than that of the conventional dimension reduction methods, R-Square and PCA. As performance improvement by feature reduction only is subject to limit, modular neural network is used as another method to improve the performance. The experiments show that the method also improves performance effectively.
A balance maintain system of Stewart platform using AHRS

A balance maintain system of Stewart platform using AHRS(Attitude and Heading Reference System) sensor is introduced. The Stewart platform is used for controlling a standing plate to keep up horizontal level at any slopes. To know current leaned degrees, AHRS sensor is used. We made feed-back system that AHRS sensor sends current status and the Stewart platform revises top plate to be equilibrium state.
A Design of Protocol Management System for Aggregating Messages based on Certification between Vehicles

This paper proposes the design of protocol management system for aggregationg messages based on certification between vehicles which not only prevents the messages between vehicles from being forged and altered by Sybil attack by authenticating the them, and but also provides the efficient communication by aggregating the redundant vehicle messages which frequently happens when communicating. For this, the proposed system proposes the SKLC(Session Key Local Certificate) design which is a local certificate based on a session key, and the MAP(Message Aggregation Protocol) design which aggregates the redundant vehicle messages. Therefore, when the proposed system checks the certificate of vehicle, it provides the reliable information securely by verifying the integrity of vehicle with a hash function operation, and improves communication efficiency by reducing the processing time.
Improvement of detecting speed of small target using SAD algorithm

We propose a method for improving detection speed of small target detection system using SAD algorithm. First, the proposed method deletes clutters using a median filter. Next, it does closing and opening operation using various size of structure elements, and extracts candidate pixels for a target with subtraction operation between the results of closing and opening operation. It finally detects a small target using a gaussian distance function from the candidate pixels. To improve detection speed, it detects a target performing SAD algorithm only for the predicted target areas for next every 7 frames. The proposed method not only enables a real time process because it considers only predicted area but also shows detecting rate of 97%.
The Exports and Economic Growth in the 8 Manufacturing Industries: Cointegration and Error Correction Models:1975-2010

The relationship between export growth and economic growth in developing countries has been one of the main issues in the growth theory field. Many of empirical studies have been done during the last three decades in order to investigate the export-led growth hypothesis using either time-series or cross-sectional data mainly in developing countries. This paper applies cointegration and error correction models to test causal relationship between export growth and economic growth in the Korean 8 manufacturing industries using the industrial time-series quarterly data over 1975-2010. The export-output relationship is tested by including industrial capital stock and the industrial labor force as exogenous variables. The cointegration and error-correction modelling technique with industrial export and output data have showed the strong evidence that there is a bi-directional causality between industrial export and industrial output in 6 manufacturing industries except wood & pulp and nonmetallic industries.
Design and Implementation of an Intelligent System for Personalized Contents Recommendation on Smart TVs

Recently, smart TVs have widely spread in our daily lives. However, it is difficult for users to find proper TV contents among a lot of TV and application contents because of inconvenience of input devices compared with those of smart phones or smart pads, so there are some problems with very low utilization of the smart functionalities of smart TVs. We suggest a personalized contents recommender system on smart TVs to resolve these problems and help for users to search appropriate contents easily and quickly in this research. We design and implement an intelligent system for personalized contents recommendation on the smart TVs based on multi-dimensional analysis considering user profiles and preferences, watching patterns of TV programs, and TV contents use statistics of TV users.
Development of Web Accessibility Evaluation Algorithm-Based upon Table Element

Due to the development of IT technologies and the Internet penetration, the importance of Web accessibility has greatly increased and accordingly been studied a lot. This study noticed that the current evaluation algorithm for "Table Elements," which are used for data and layout tables, has many problems. Based on the Web Accessibility Guidelines, this study presents an improved evaluation algorithm for "Table Elements" and verifies its validity.
