Mining highly attention itemsets using a two-way decay mechanism in data stream mining

In most techniques of information differentiating for data stream mining, they give larger weight to the information generated in recent compared to the old information. However, there can be important one among the old information. For example, in case of a person was a regular customer in a retail store but has not come to the store in recent, old information with the shopping record of the person can be importantly used in a target marketing for increasing sales. In this paper, highly attention itemsets(HAI) are defined, which mean the itemsets generated in the past frequently but not generated in recent. In addition, a twao-way decay mechanism and a data stream mining method for finding HAI are proposed.
Secure and Scalable Key Aggregation Scheme for Cloud Storage

As the communication technology and mobile devices develop, the need for the efficient and secure remote storage is required. And recently, many companies support cloud storages to meet the requirements of the customers. Especially in the business field where various companies collaborate, data sharing is an essential functionality to enhance their work performance. However, existing researches have not fully satisfied the requirement either efficiency and security. This paper suggests efficient and secure data sharing scheme for cloud storage by using secret sharing scheme. Proposed scheme can be applied to business collaborations and team projects.

In this paper, a folded label type RFID tag antenna is designed and produecd for metellic environment over UHF band. Since performance of regular label type RFID tag is seriously degraded for the metallic environment, a folded label tag is proposed to improve the performance. Development of Smart Contents Platform for providing Digital Sinage Environment

In recent years, the advance on the high-end converging technology has improved to the changes on digital signage technology in many ways. Digital signage has to be designed to give information through systemed structure among the constituent for developing the information delivery responding to the environmental conversion, not feeding user information. Therefore, this paper proposes a smart contents platform which supplies various from of digital signage contents. In the digital signage circumstance, the smart contents platform is a way for an effective information transmission, game and the advertising interface by recognizing user interaction and the environmental information. This platform is composed of base hardware, middleware and middle device. Each component module is managed by the smart contents platform. Furthermore, it serves various live contents experiences via gathering and analyzing user and environmental information with linking various sensors and devices. It is a new way of information delivery which serves contents producing and providing circumstances in parallel.
A Simulation Study on the Performance of the RAW in IEEE 802.11ah WLANs

Restricted Access Window (RAW) has been designed to improve power saving efficiency by reducing collisions of contending stations in the IEEE 802.11ah Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). We conduct simulations in order to observe the stations' operations influencing the lengths of the Restricted Access Window (RAW). From the observation, we consider how to adjust the stations' operations for proper RAW managements.
Integral Histogram-based Framework for Rapid Object Tracking

In this paper we propose a very rapid moving object tracking method for an object-based auto focus on a smart phone camera. By considering the limit of non-learning approach on low-performance platforms, we use a sliding-window detection technique based on histogram features. By adapting the integral histogram, we solve the problem of the time-consuming histogram computation on each sub-window. For more speed up, we propose a local candidate search, and an adaptive scaling template method. In addition, we propose to apply a stabilization term in the matching function for a stable detection location. In experiments on our dataset, we demonstrated that we achieved a very rapid tracking performance demonstrating over 100 frames per second on a PC environment.
Improving the Processing Speed and Robustness of Face Detection for a Psychological Robot Application

Compared to other emotion recognition technology, facial expression recognition technology has the merit of non-contact, non-enforceable and convenience. In order to apply to a psychological robot, vision technology must be able to quickly and accurately extract the face region in the previous step of facial expression recognition. In this paper, we remove the background from any image using the YCbCr skin color technology, and use Haar-like Feature technology for robust face detection. We got the result of improved processing speed and robust face detection by removing the background from the input image.
A Performance Enhancement Scheme for Signature-based Anti-Viruses

An anti-virus is a widely used solution for detecting malicious software in client devices. In particular, signature-based anti-viruses detect malicious software by comparing a file with a signature of a malicious software. Recently, the number of malicious software dramatically increases and hence it results in a performance degradation issue: detection time of signature-based anti-virus increases and throughput decreases. In this paper, we summarize the research results of signature-based anti-viruses which are focusing on solutions overcoming of performance limitations, and propose a new solution. In particular, comparing our solution to SplitScreen which has been known with the best performance, our solution reduces client-side workload and decreases communication cost.
TFT-LCD Defect Blob Detection based on Sequential Defect Detection Method

This paper proposes a TFT-LCD defect blob detection algorithm using the sequential defect detection method. First, for every pixel, a defect possibility is determined by the intensity difference and the defect candidates are detected according to the sequential defect detection method. For detected candidate pixels, the defect probability that indicates a potential included in the defect according to the each step. By applying the morphological operation, blobs are comprised of the detected candidates and the defect blobs are detected using the defect possibility of blobs. The validity of the proposed method was demonstrated a simulated image and also then it was tested a real TFT-LCD image. By the experimental results, the proposed method is very effective in TFT-LCD detect detection.
The Effects of Body Esteem on Purchase Intention toward Online Fashion Products: The Moderating Role of Self Monitoring

Despite the growth of body-related industry has generated considerable interest in this topic among both academics and practitioners, there has been lack of studies that explore body esteem toward online fashion products leads to purchase intentions, which self-monitoring moderates the relationship between body esteem toward online fashion products and purchase intentions. To fill this gap, this study aim to propose a research model where body esteem influences on the purchase intentions, with self-monitoring as a moderator. In order to test hypotheses, response from 172 consumers were achieved, and the proposed model was estimated by using hierarchical moderated regression analysis. The empirical results showed that body esteem negatively related to purchase intentions toward online fashion products. Additionally, this study indicated that the moderating effects of self-monitoring exist between body esteem and purchase intentions toward online fashion products, thereby implying the importance of contingent role of self-monitoring in managing online channels.
An Efficient Methodology for Daily Waste Treatment Using Reverse Logistics Network: Focused on D Metropolitan City

In this paper, a methodology for effectively treating daily waste at D metropolitan city is considered using reverse logistics(RL) network. Currently, eight district offices at D metropolitan city are treating their daily wastes using each RL network. However, unfortunately, current method has a weakness such as inefficiency of RL network operation. Therefore, we propose a revised method for improving the inefficiency. In case study, we compare the performances of the current and revised methods using various real-life data. The analysis result shows that the revised method outperforms the current method.
A study on unstructured text mining algorithm through R programming based on data dictionary

Unlike structured data which are gathered and saved in a predefined structure, unstructured text data which are mostly written in natural language have larger applications recently due to the emergence of web 2.0. Text mining is one of the most important big data analysis techniques that extracts meaningful information in the text because it has not only increased in the amount of text data but also human being's emotion is expressed directly. In this study, we used R program, an open source software for statistical analysis, and studied algorithm implementation to conduct analyses (such as Frequency Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Word Cloud, Social Network Analysis). Especially, to focus on our research scope, we used keyword extract method based on a Data Dictionary. By applying in real cases, we could find that R is very useful as a statistical analysis software working on variety of OS and with other languages interface.
An Empirical Study of the Elderly's Information Literacy on Their Happiness

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of information literacy, life satisfaction, and life happiness of the silver generation, and to suggest the direction for their happy life. We conducted a questionnaire survey targeted at the Internet users of over 60 years old adults living in Daegu/Gyongbuk areas. Data were analyzed using 238 valid samples. With the results, it revealed that the silver generations' life satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between their information literacy and their life happiness. Future studies are also discussed in this paper.
