A Study of Call Admission Control Scheme using Noncooperative Game under Homogeneous Overlay Wireless Networks

This paper proposes CAC method that is more efficient for RRM using game theory combined with Multiple Attribute Decision Making(MADM). Because users request services with different Quality of Service(QoS), the network preference values to alternative networks for each service are calculated by MADM methods such as Grey Relational Analysis(GRA), Simple Additive Weighting(SAW) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS). According to a utility function representing preference value, non-cooperative game is played, and then network provider select the requested service that provide maximum payoff. The appropriate service is selected through Nash Equilibrium that is the solution of game and the game is played repeated. We analyze two overlaid networks among four Wireless LAN(WLAN) systems with different properties. Simulation results show that proposed MADM techniques have same outcomes for every game round.
Design of Communication Middleware for HACCP Automation System using Lightweight Devices

In this paper, we propose a communication middleware for development of HACCP(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) automation system, which is composed of lightweight devices and a server, to support effective HACCP data management. To provide the proper HACCP data to lightweight devices, we design the communication message protocol based on HACCP management regulation model. Moreover, we develop the communication middleware that performs various functions, such as processing of communication protocols for HACCP data, analyzing of messages between devices and a server, and providing database managements tools. In addition, it takes a role to guarantee sharing consistent data among the devices and server, through the active updates for information on devices. Actually, the proposed communication middleware can be a part of critical system to develop a HACCP automation system with lightweight devices, because it implements the HACCP communication protocols making lightweight devices execute every HACCP task.
Empirical Analysis on the Industrial Productivity in the Electricity·Gas·Water Service Sector

The early studies indicated that the firm with monopoly power is likely to engage in X-inefficiency such as a managerial slack. The reflection of the X-inefficiency theory has led to the issue that the public sector may be more inefficient than the private sector. In Korea like other many countries the electricity gas water service which can be considered as natural monopoly have been provided mostly by the public sector. In order to provide the empirical evidence to the argument that the public sector may be more inefficient than the private sector this paper estimated the four types of Solow residual which is called the total factor productivity in the electricity gas water service industry with the associated empirical model and compared its productivity with one in the manufacturing industry. The empirical results do not support the argument that the public sector may be more inefficient or less productive than the private sector.

In this paper, variable rate CDR(Clock and Data Recovery) circuit adopting blind oversampling architecture is presented. The clock recovery circuit is implemented by using wide range voltage controlled oscillator and band selection method and the data recovery circuit is designed to digital circuit used majority voting method in order to low power and small area. The designed low power variable clock and data recovery is implemented by wide range voltage controlled oscillator and digital data recovery circuit. Design and Implementation a Remote Control Smart Multi-plug based on Wireless Network

With the spread of smart technology, in the personal and office equipment, many of the products are equipped with smart features. These changes have opened the era that can enforce the user`s operation from a remote location. In this study, we design and implement a smart multi-plug system to make a multi-plug installed in the home can be operated anytime and anywhere via wireless network technologies add smart feature to a multi-plug that can be seen easily around us, it is intended to complement the limitations of traditional multi-plugs. The smart multi-plug proposed in this paper, by operating the plug remotely from smart devices at anytime and from anywhere, is possible to provide services required for the weak users such as elderly and children, it is expected that the proposed system are widely used in the various areas requiring remote control of the power supply including u-Farming, terrarium, and smart home, and so on.
Estimating social and economic costs for outpatient injuries by using Korea medical panel data

An increase in patients` medical expenses for their injury. accident and intoxication is a major challenge to improve the sustain-ability of a national health security system, and increasing medical expenses need be suppressed through improving relevant systems and/or efficiently operating and managing the health insurance. At this juncture, in Korea which has a high rate of injury incidence and mortality, it is necessary to estimate social and/or economic costs for injuries with a focus on their social effects. This research has examined the results of a Korea medical panel investigation conducted in 2008, which largely surveyed of the actual conditions of outpatients` medical use for their injury, accident and/or intoxication and investigated relevant medical expenses, with a view to estimating the directly incurred costs when the patients use medical services and the production loss costs caused by an production decline and others, so that social and/or economic costs for injuries may be ultimately aggregated.
Realization of A Portable Friction Coefficient Tester

Recently in the evaluation of physical properties of a material, its surface friction characteristics is much required. This study treats the development of portable and affordable friction coefficient tester, which includes utensil design and application, measurement circuit design and layout, and microprocessor based firmware building. Also, real applicability of the present portable friction coefficient tester has been shown via performance comparisons with the existing standard tester.
Reliability analysis of multi-state parallel system with a multi-functional standby component

A redundant structure typically consists of primary component and standby component taking over the function of the primary component when the primary component fails. In this research, we consider a redundant structure in which a standby component can take over the function of more than one primary component when primary components fail. And we assume that the system has multi-state according to the states of components while all components have two states. This system is called as the multi-state redundant system with a multi-functional standby component. This type of redundant structure is frequently adapted by the system such as an aircraft in which the weight is an important design factor. In this paper, we propose new reliability model for this multi-state redundant system with a multi-functional standby component in order for evaluating the reliability of the system. Under the assumption that all components have constant failure rate, we evaluate the reliability of the system by applying Markov analysis method. And we investigate the effect of the multi-functional standby component by comparing reliabilities of the parallel system with multi-functional standby component and a simple parallel system and a parallel system with redundant structure.
A Emotional Labor and Exhaustion as a Predictor of Job Performance and Turnover Intention in Chinse Service Industry: The Moderating Role of Perceived Organizational Support

The purpose of this paper is to attempt to investigate how emotional labor strategies (i.e. surface acting and deep acting) affect job performance and turnover intention thorough emotional exhaustion. Another important objective of this study was to see whether perceived organizational support (POS) moderates the relationship between emotional labor strategies and emotional exhaustion. Structural equation modeling analysis provided support for the hypotheses from a sample of 225 China department store sales employees. The results revealed that surface acting has a positive influence on emotional exhaustion, whereas deep acting has not significant influence on emotional exhaustion. Second, emotional exhaustion has a negative influence on job performance, whereas it has a positive influence on turnover intention. In addition, the relationship between surface acting and job performance/turnover intention was significantly mediated by emotional exhaustion. Furthermore, perceived organizational supporting mitigated the negative relationship between deep acting and emotional exhaustion. The findings of this study contributed to the literature by identifying the relationship between surface and deep acting on employee outcomes (i.e. emotional exhaustion, job performance, turnover intention), especially in China. In addition, this study also confirmed the important buffering role of POS based on the norm of reciprocity between an organization and its members.
Development of a ROM Writer for Shmoo Test of a Flash Memory Integrated into the MCU

This paper presents the development of a ROM writer for shmoo test of a flash memory integrated into the MCU(Micro Controller Unit). A shmoo test is a graphical display of the response of a component or system varying over a range of conditions and inputs. Often used to represent the results of the testing of complex electronic systems such as computers or integrated circuits such as DRAMs, ASICs or microprocessors. A shmoo test and data write time(32k) of the development ROM writer is 6.4 seconds, which was improved by about 20% compared to the rate of the currently used ROM writer.
A Method of Profit Allocation for Sharing Economy among Companies Considering the Transaction Costs

Currently, many enterprises are trying to allocate the investment costs and risks through collaboration, and strengthen their competitiveness by sharing their resources and gains. Intercorporate sharing economy, a type of intercorporate collaboration, refers to the economic activity to share the idle resources of enterprises and enhance their efficiency. For a successful intercorporate economy with the participation of various stakeholders, there is a need to establish the clear allocation method of gains. Accordingly, this study suggested three methods-the MST method that can apply transaction cost incurred when forming a coalition for sharing economy; the average of transaction cost incurred by each participant, and the Shapley Value application method for the transaction cost incurred between the participants. In addition, this study also suggested gain allocation methods such as the "Equal distribution of gain" method, a gain allocation method based on the Cooperative Game Theory, the the "Proportional distribution of gain" method, and the Shapley Value method that takes in consideration the transaction costs.
