Variable Step Size Adaptive Algorithm using Instantaneous Absolute Value Based on System Generator

As the convergence speed of time domain adaptive algorithm on the LMS(Least Mean Square) becomes slow when eigen value distribution width is spread, So variable step size algorithm is used widely. But it needs a lot of calculation load. In this paper we consider new algorithm, which can reduce calculations and improve convergence speed, uses instantaneous absolute value of average noise signal adapting the exponential function. For the performance of proposed algorithm is tested and simulated to system generator. As the result we show the variable step size adaptive algorithm in proportion to instantaneous absolute value is more stable and efficient than others.
A Study of Hangul Text Steganography based on Genetic Algorithm

In a hostile Internet environment, steganography has focused to hide a secret message inside the cover medium for increasing the security. That is the complement of the encryption. This paper presents a text steganography techniques using the Hangul text. To enhance the security level, secret messages have been encrypted first through the genetic algorithm operator crossover. And then embedded into an cover text to form the stego text without changing its noticeable properties and structures. To maintain the capacity in the cover media to 3.69%, the experiments show that the size of the stego text was increased up to 14%.
An Empirical Evaluation Analysis of the Performance of In-memory Bigdata Processing Platform

Spark, an in-memory big-data processing framework is popular to use for real-time processing workload. Spark can store all intermediate data in the cluster memory so that Spark can minimize I/O access. However, when the resident memory of workload is larger that the physical memory amount of the cluster, the total performance can drop dramatically. In this paper, we analyse the factors of bottleneck on PageRank Application that needs many memory through experiment, and cluster the Spark with Tachyon File System for using memory to solve the factor of bottleneck and then we improve the performance about 18%.
Performance Comparison of BCS-SPL Techniques Against a Variety of Restoring Block Sizes

Compressed sensing is a signal processing technique for efficiently acquiring and reconstructing in an under-sampled (i.e., under Nyquist rate) representation. Specially, a block compressed sensing with Smoothed Projected Landweber (BCS-SPL) framework is one of the most widely used schemes. Currently, a variety of BCS-SPL schemes have been actively studied. However, when restoring, block sizes have effects on the reconstructed visual qualities, and in this paper, both a basic scheme of BCS-SPL and several modified schemes of BCS-SPL with structured measurement matrix are analyzed for the effects of the block sizes on the performances of reconstructed image qualities. Through several experiments, it is shown that a basic scheme of BCS-SPL provides superior performance in block size 4.
Design of a Photovoltaic PCS with Compensation Control of Reactive Power and Unbalance Current in Three-phase systems

Development of the distributed energy resources such as photovoltaic, wind, and fuel cell has increased rapidly due to the rising demand for clean energy utilization. On the other hand, the distribution system became complex and has problems such as degradation of power factor and current unbalance caused by power converters, reactive power and unbalanced loads. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a 3-phase 4-leg type power conditioning system with compensation control algorithm for the reactive power and unbalance current in distribution system using photovoltaic resource. It is simulated in PSCAD/EMTDC and the effectiveness is confirmed.
Research on Methods for Processing Nonstandard Korean Words on Social Network Services

Social network services (SNS) that help to build relationship network and share a particular interest or activity freely according to their interests by posting comments, photos, videos,
on online communities such as blogs have adopted and developed widely as a social phenomenon. Several researches have been done to explore the pattern and valuable information in social networks data via text mining such as opinion mining and semantic analysis. For improving the efficiency of text mining, keyword-based approach have been applied but most of researchers argued the limitations of the rules of Korean orthography. This research aims to construct a database of non-standard Korean words which are difficulty in data mining such abbreviations, slangs, strange expressions, emoticons in order to improve the limitations in keyword-based text mining techniques. Based on the study of subjective opinions about specific topics on blogs, this research extracted non-standard words that were found useful in text mining process.
Evaluation and Analysis of Web Accessibility for the Responsive Web Sites

Recently, research and development for the responsive web is increasing. However, studies of responsive web accessibility evaluation is insufficient. In this study, we evaluated and analyzed the accessibility of Responsive Web site. As a result, accessibility errors were found including providing alternative text of image contents, keyboard access and usage, logical move of the focus and providing the title. These errors can also be responsive web errors. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement and modify them.
An Empirical Study on the Relationships among Job Satisfaction of Employees, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction in Military Logistics

Even though the Korean military continued to develop military logistics support systems, sufficient research on logistics service has not been conducted. The main purpose of the research is to examine employees' job satisfaction of logistics units by logistics functions (the ordnance, the supply, the food), and further the relationship between the job satisfaction of logistics units and service quality of the user(combat) units. Some results are as follows. First, the job satisfaction among logistics units was significantly different by functions. Second, the tangible among service quality factors of user units was been significantly different among functional units. Finally, through the post hoc analyses, some meaningful results on service quality were also identified.
