Classification of Interval Vectors by Interval Neural Networks

This paper proposes a pattern classification method of interval vectors by interval neural networks. The proposed method can be applied to pattern classification where attribute values of each sample are given as interval numbers. First, an architecture of interval neural networks is proposed for dealing with interval input vectors. Next, a learning algorithm is derived from the cost function. a cost function is defined using the interval output from the interval neural network and the corresponding target output. Last, using numerical examples, the proposed approach is illustrated and compared with other approach based on the standard back-propagation neural networks.
Web Site Construction Using Internet Information Extraction

In this paper, we suggest the algorithm that inserts or deletes documents into web sites without creating
tag. This algorithm uses
tag which links between documents to automatically inset or delete the web documents. This study extracts the texts in the
tag of the document to put into the structure as a type of graph creating the link as a node m of sub-node. That is, in this case of configurating new link between web documents, this algorithm allows to insert or delete the node to or from the graph without creating the
tag. In the case of deleting the document, it removes the broken link connecting the sub-nodes of deleted node newly to its parent node.
2-D Conditional Moment for Recognition of Deformed Letters

In this paper we mose a new scheme for recognition of deformed letters by extracting feature vectors based on Gibbs distributions which are well suited for representing the spatial continuity. The extracted feature vectors are comprised of 2-D conditional moments which are invariant under translation, rotation, and scale of an image. The Algorithm for pattern recognition of deformed letters contains two parts: the extraction of feature vector and the recognition process. (i) We extract feature vector which consists of an improved 2-D conditional moments on the basis of estimated conditional Gibbs distribution for an image. (ii) In the recognition phase, the minimization of the discrimination cost function for a deformed letters determines the corresponding template pattern. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme, recognition experiments with a generated document was conducted. on Workstation. Experiment results reveal that the proposed scheme has high recognition rate over 96%.
A Study of Domestic B2B e-Marketplace

The advent of the Internet and development of information technologies have changed the environment of doing business. Accordingly, they expect that the relative importance of electronic commerce in the business becomes growing more and more. Among the areas of electronic commerce, B2B marketplaces that play the roles of linking buyers and suppliers take the important place. This study examines requirements for activating domestic B2B marketplaces by analyzing the literature and the status of the marketplaces. For the analysis, evaluation factors that belong to one of the four categories (i.e., Information step, Agreement step, Settlement step, and the rest) are selected. Results of the study suggest the following activation requirements for domestic B2B marketplaces : 1. Enforcement of services for the Agreement and Settlement steps. 2. Supporting multinational languages. 3. Diversification of income sources. 4. Standardization. 5. Integrating main systems. 6. Satisfying the necessities of buyers and suppliers.
Design and Implementation an RF-state for WLL multichannel personal stations

In this paper, We designed and implemented an RF module for WLL multi-channel personal stations. Then, we experimentally evaluated in receiving sensitivity, adjacent channel interference selectivity and spurious response limit. From the measurement results on the RF module for WLL multi-channel personal stations, we observed and confirmed as follows: First, the variation in output power level was kept to be less than 30 dBm in the range of the input power level from -90 dBm to -30dBm. This measurement result confirmed the dynamic range of 60 dB. Secondly, at the output stage of the RF module, the gain flatness in the pass band was measured to be less than 2dB, which confirmed a precise control of the bandspread signals. Thirdly, at the RF module, the bandwidth and power level in transmission were measured to be 10 MHz, respectively we note that these features satisfy the design specifications.
A Multiprocessor Scheduling Methodology for DSP Applications.

This paper presents a new multiprocessor system and corresponding scheduling algorithm that can be applied for implementation of fine grain DSP algorithms such as digital filters. The newly proposed system uses one or more shared buses as the basic interconnection network between processors, and fixed amount of clock-skew is maintained between instruction execution of processors. This system not only can handle the interprocessor communications very efficiently but also can explicitly incorporate the interprocessor communication delay time into the multiprocessor scheduling model. This paper also presents a new scheduling strategy for implementing digital filters expressed in fully-specified flow graphs on the proposed system. The simulation result shows that well-known digital filters can be implemented on proposed multiprocessor in which the implementation satisfies the iteration period bound.
Multi-purpose System for Transmitting Images/voices Based on MPEG-4 Streaming

Real-time multimedia transmit services like internet broadcasting, web-based education, chatting, conference, circumference observation etc. by using internet are given a great deal of weight on most recently internet services. In these way, various internet services are presented and there applications are also gradually spreaded because of improvement MPEG and streaming processing techniques. But currently internet service is a development of system which has independent function of above services. And a research and development of system which have a multipurpose internet service are insufficiency. In this paper, we design and develop system(RealCam SUN A/V) for transmitting images and voices based on MPEG4 streaming. As a result of our research, it made possible to transmit images with 15 frame/sec in 160×120 frame size at 56Kbps and 30 frame/sec in 640×480 frame size at 512Kbps. And also we can apply this system as multipurpose function to circumference observation and internet broadcasting etc., by transmitting voices, images and control signal simultaneously.
Implementation of a Multimedia based ExamBank System in Web Environments

In this paper, we proposed multimedia based ExamBank system in web environments. In the proposed system the database was designed based on the object-relation model and the application program was implemented with Java such that independent execution would be possible to guarantee no fault for multi-client in Web environments. We defined the Exam entities as objects, and implemented those inter-relationships as user definition and type. In addition, by mapping the schema object of DBMS and JAVA class, it becomes to possible transferring the object systematically between DHMS and JAVA application server.
REDISCOVERING THE LEXICOGRAPHIC LINEAR GOAL PROGRAMMING MULTIPLEX MODEL

An alternative approach to formulating a special class of linear goal programming (LGP) models is presented. We propose a formulation of the LGP model that can include the decision variables in the objective function. We specifically propose that the position of the decision variables in the objective function be used to eliminate goal constraints whose sole purpose is to indirectly optimize decision variables. For the select group of LGP problems wherever indirect optimization of decision variables are sought, the alternative LGP model formulation is able to reduce the size of these LGP models and in turn the computational effort required for their solution.

A Study on Digital Information System for Ports Management using Image Processing

This paper is about the parts code and utility of 3d image maker that is needed in parts management of manufacturing system. This images can be viewed by internet network, that makes it possible to teach and train new workers. Other application area would be e-commerce, cyber show and e-trade.
