Comparative Evaluation of Proximate Composition and Muscle Quality according to the Olive Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) fed Extruded Pellets and Raw Fish-Based Moist Pellet

This study was conducted to evaluate the quality characteristics (proximate composition, fatty acids, amino acids and sensory properties) of whole body and dorsal muscle in olive flounder, which is switch size from juvenile to growing fed extruded pellets (EP) and raw fish-based moist pellet (MP) for 9 months. Sample was collected at 5 and 9 months to compare with those of EP and MP. Whole body crude protein of fish fed EP at 9 months was significantly higher than that of fish fed MP (P<0.05). Linolenic acid(18:3) and n-6/n-3 ratio in dorsal muscle of fish fed EP were significantly higher than those of fish fed MP (P<0.05). No significant differences were observed in the results of the flavor, color, taste and texture of the muscle of the fish fed EP compared to those fed MP (P>0.05). Based on the experimental results, we concluded that olive flounder cultured with EP is not inferior to those fed MP for quality characteristics of whole body and muscle.
Problems and Ways of Improving on Personal Organization of Maritime Safety Tribunal

The purpose of Maritime Safety Tribunal is that experts about ship operation investigate and reveal causes of marine disasters and suggest plans to prevent recurrence in Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal which is a kind of administrative court. Despite the fact that 72% of marine disasters is fishing vessel accidents and 75% of collision accidents between vessels which most occur is related to fishing boats, it is the very serious problem that there is no any person with licenses of marine technicians for fishing vessels in judges and investigators of Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal. The operational characteristics of fishing vessels, their sizes, and shift patterns of duties in wheelhouses are completely and incommensurably different from those of merchant vessels. By the way, if the investigators and judges who just consist of merchant vessel experts investigate and judge marine accidents about fishing vessels, there could be errors in establishment of policies to investigate and reveal their causes and prevent recurrence of accidents. Especially, in case of collision accidents between fishing vessels and merchant vessels, it is thought that the marine accident interested provides causes which can be doubtful about fairness of judges. Therefore, it is thought that the ratio of judges and investigators is most desirable to compose it to be similar to the occurrence frequency of marine accidents. For this, the following solution plans are suggested. First, qualification for appointment requires first class marine technicians. But there is the only one vessel which needs the first class in fishing vessels. Therefore, it is thought that the provisory clause should be added so that the second class marine technicians can be used instead of the first class ones. Second, the marine accidents of fishing vessels reach 72% but the fact that there is no any judge and investigator with licenses of marine technicians for fishing vessels is thought to go against the purpose of establishment of Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal. Therefore, it is thought that there is, at least, one more judges and investigators in the central and local Korean Maritime Safety Tribunals. The same method should be applied to judge assistants and investigation assistants.
Telecommunication System Construction to minimize the Casualty of Fisher in the coastal Fishing Boat

For telecommunication system construction to minimize the casualty of fisher, we investigated the usability of TRS communication system and performance of GPS automatic position transmitter (APT) which can be utilized for the survival, search and rescue of the victims. The trial experiments were conducted at sea with TRS and CDMA in the East, West and South Sea of Korea from October to December. As a result, the usability of the TRS as an emergency communication system device was verified since it provided stable position and voice information to the boundary of 50km far from the coast. Therefore the system is expected to contribute to minimization of victims.
A Study on the Difference between Excellent Teachers and General Teachers through Flanders` Language Interaction System

The purpose of this study was to improve teacher`s instruction to comparative, analytic method about the excellent teachers and general teachers of Korean subject through Flanders` Interaction System. The objects for analysis were field excellent instructions which were known as the best lectures from the instruction contest in Busan city, and the normal lectures by school curriculum which were video recorded and openly released on the web. This study was limited the use of same grade, subject and period. The analytic method used the software of AF(Advanced Flanders) based on the frame of Flanders` language Interaction System. Results showed as follows: (a) The excellent teachers used more interactions with the praise and encouragement than general teachers. (b) The excellent teachers induced students asked questions and answers with voluntary. These results could provide effective self-checking tools for enhance their instruction.

This paper aims to empirically explore how the partnership between the two industries influences on the satisfaction of ship management companies. In addition, this paper intends to provide relevant information to enhance the competitiveness of ship repair companies by revealing the causalities of variations consisting of the partnership between ship management companies and ship repair companies. It revealed what characteristics are embedded in the partnership between ship management companies, and how the consisting factors of this partnership influences on satisfaction throughout prior factors. And this paper explored the variables that influence on the satisfaction of ship repair companies.

This study is to figure out how parents` child-rearing attitudes perceived by elementary school students influence on the kids` self-efficacy and social development, so that desirable nurturing attitudes can be advised for parents for the better teaching kids at home. This research shows that parents` nurturing attitudes perceived by their kids influence meaningfully on the child`s self-efficacy and social development. In particular, as the children see their parents focusing more on achievements, their self-efficacy is higher and they are more sociable. in other words, it is important and advised for parents to have achievement-oriented maturing attitude setting high goals and encouraging their kids to achieve them by working hard patiently.

The frictional pressure drop during flow boiling is predicted by using two models; the homogeneous model that assumes equal phase velocity and the separate flow model that allows a slip velocity between two phases. From the experimental results, it is found that the two phase multiplier decreases with an increase in mass flux. Measured data of pressure drop are compared to a few available correlations proposed for macroscale and mini/microscale. Among the separated flow models, the correlation model suggested by Lee and Garimella predicted the frictional pressure drop within MAE of 47.2%, which is better than other correlations.
A Study on the Recognition of University Students and Parents about Legacy Preferences

Legacy preferences has become the key issue of educational policy. The purpose of this study was to investigate the recognition of university students and parents about legacy preferences. The questionnaire which was made by researcher of this study was used as the method of this study. As a sampling, university students 360 and parents 312 were sampled. And SPSSWIN 20.0 was used as the method of data analysis. As a conclusion, this study indicates as follows. First, the ratio of disagreement of legacy preferences was higher than the ratio of agreement of legacy preferences. But higher-income class parents were tended to agree with legacy preferences. Second, many university students and parents regarded `economic advantages for tuition payments and a scholarship`, `excellences for education by helping financial deficit of university` as agreement reasons of legacy preferences. And many university students and parents regarded `reproduction of social class`, `promotion of one`s sense of values of mammonism` as disagreement reasons of legacy preferences.
The Development and Effects of a Preventative Learning Consultation Program for University Underachievers

The numbers of learning underachievers in college are gradually increasing. As a result, the need for extracurricular programs to increase learning in college is also growing. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors of learning difficulty and develop a model of learning consulting for college underachievers. This study also aimed to evaluate this model`s validity. Using both 56 subscription forms of college underachievers and three sets of focus group interviews at B university, we found that students had difficulties in goal and career setting, management of grades and tests, learning methods, time management, failure overcome ability, lack of learning habit sustaining power and learning motivation, and so on. We developed a model of learning consulting for college underachievers based on these factors and applied the model to evaluate it`s validity, testing it on 31 underachievers currently enrolled in college, five times every week. Let we say in conclusion that this model of learning consulting had positive effects on changing college underachiever`s character, emotion, motivation, and behavior towards learning.
The Effects of Transfer of Education Training on Korean Enterprise Revitalization -Focusing on Characteristics of Education Training Program and Organization Characteristics in Cyber Education-

This article starts with a review of the organization characteristics and corporate education training program, especially in relation to the cyber education. In particular, we empirically analyzed the factors affecting the characteristics of education program (e.g., relatedness of the program contents, method of education and instructor`s ability) and the organization characters (e.g., support of manager and coworker, education culture). Hence the main purpose of this article is to suggest an empirical model explaining how these factors affect the transfer of training and enterprise revitalization. Furthermore, we suggested an expanded model about cyber education training program, transfer of training, and corporate`s facilitation. We founded that the contents and method of education significantly affect the transfer of training, while instructor`s ability does not significantly affect. Supports from manager and coworkers, education culture, and transfer of training also affect the enteprize revitalization.
A Study on the Evaluation for the Safety of Passing Vessel in the Vicinity of the Seasands Gathering Area By Marine Traffic Safety Diagnostic Scheme

Recently, the supplying of basic materials for construction of building as sand is big issues due to lack of shoreside supply. For solving this problem, many suppliers attempt to gather aggregate from the sea bottom of the EEZ & west coastal area of Korea. In this regard, the `Jangantoe` which exists in the westside of the Daesan port is worth noticing as good seasand supplying areas. The Chungnam Aggregate Association have plan to gather of seasand from `Gaduckdo 5 regions & Igok 3 regions` which lies westside about 6 miles off from the Jangantoe areas. This designated area also locates upper parts of the Gadaeam TSS(Traffic Separation Scheme) which is very useful passing routes for the sailing vessels of Inchon & Daesan ports. In this study, the evaluation of the safety for passing vessels in the vicinity of the seasand gathering area was performed by various methods of radar observations & GICOMS AIS data for marine traffics and vessel traffic-flow simulation of the `Marine Traffic Safety Diagnostic Scheme`. By the results of this evaluation, I suggested comprehensive countermeasures for the safety of passing vessels in the near the seasand gathering area.
A Study on Joint Angle of Lower Extremity during Short Track Speed Skating

This study, which is conducted on two groups of skilled people and unskilled people, is purposed to analyze joint angle of lower extremity during short track speed skating in order to find out efficient body position and propose ideal training method. Short Track Speed Skating has a wide range of research areas, but their findings indicate a promising area for further research. Targeting 8 people who are skilled in short track speed skating and 8 people who are not skilled in it, this study analyzes three dimensional images using super-high speed camera to compare differences between these two groups of people. In this study, 6 sections of body positions including right foot push-off, right foot recovery, right foot basic position, left foot push-off, left foot recovery, and left foot basic position were analyzed using 8 super-high speed cameras of VICON. These body positions were analyzed in order to find out joint angles of the hip joint, the knee joint, and the ankle joint. In the section 4 of the inner and outer parts of the left hip angles showed significant difference, and most of the sections of knee joint angles also showed significant difference. In the section 1 and 2 of the plantar flexion, dorsiflexion of ankle joints showed significant difference(p<.001) It was found out that there were differences between groups of skilled people and unskilled people in terms of lower extremity`s joint angles such as angles of the hip joint, the knee joint, and the ankle joint.
On the Actual Conditions of Manpower Supply in Seaman`s Competency Certificate of Fishing Vessel Recently

The aim of this paper is to represent about the actual conditions of manpower supply in seaman`s competency certificate of fishing vessel. Data used here were based on Korea Seafarer`s Statistical Year Book(2007~2011) issued by Ministry of Land, Transport, Maritime Affairs and Alma Mater of employed Seafarer`s issued by Korea Seafarer`s Welfare & Employment Center, and concerned various laws. The results are as follows : 1. The demanding officers(DO) in the present fishing vessels as minimum boarding standard of Ships Officers Act figured up 5,929 persons totally. Those are divided into officers of 2,988 persons and engineers of 2,941 persons. 2. Comparing DO with now boarding officer members, incase of Coastal & near-ocean fishing vessels exceeded approximately 11.5%(478 persons), but Ocean-going fishing vessels were short supply about 26.7%(477 persons). 3. In spite of ships officers` lacking in Ocean-going, boarding officers until now are only 3.5%(133 persons) annually of alma members in various fisheries schools.

This Paper presented the reduction methods of
emission from ships during voyage. In order to decrease
emission during voyage the equation was established and conducted the study about the relationship between ship speed, the propulsive efficiency and its
production. The results obtained from the examinations are as follows : 1.
emission from sailing ships can be decreased by reducing specific fuel oil consumption of main diesel engine, coefficient of total resistance and ship speed and also by increasing propeller efficiency. 2. A Study on the Collision between Fishing Vessel and non Fishing Vessel using Questionnaire Analysis

The postal or group questionnaire survey was conducted to inquire into the cause of collision between fishing vessel and non-fishing vessel targeting fishing vessel personnel(FVP), non-NFVP and a person involved in a marine accident. As a result, we could verify the root cause of collision, a negligence of lookout which noted overwork for FVP and careless for non-FVP. The cause of collision by inappropriate avoid action was poor communications for FVP and non-FVP. To reduce collision, we need to be trained to take a sharp lookout, a radio communication by VHF and the collision avoidance actions by early and substantial action to keep well clear. The results are expected to contribute for the reduction of collision and victims.
The Basic Study on Improvement Bridge Layout by Link Analysis in Korean Coastal Large Trawler

The purpose of this study is to obtain a basic data on layout of the trawlers` bridge equipment. The task activities of bridge workers involved in the navigation and fishing operation were analyzed by link analysis methods. The results are as follows. It was found that the movement pattern and frequency of bridge workers are different accordance with the bridge work (navigation, casting net, towing net and hauling net). The central workstation of movement of the bridge workers was a radar workstation, a steering workstation and a trawl winch workstation in the bridge work. But the radar did not show up as the center of movement during the hauling net. Workstations related deeply to the central workstations of the movement on the bridge were as below. Radar workstation was related to a GPS plotter, a microphone location for external communication with VHF and MF/HF equipment and a steering in the case of the navigation, the steering, the GPS plotter and the net monitor in the case of the fishing operation. Steering workstation was related deeply to the GPS plotter, the radar in the case of the navigation, a speed controller, the GPS plotter, a fish finder, the net monitor and the microphone location in the case of the fishing operation. Trawl winch workstation showed deep relation with the GPS plotter and the speed control during the fishing operation. Through this study, it was found that Workstations related deeply to the central workstation of the movement of the bridge workers in accordance with the bridge work. The results of this study might be utilized as the basic data on the bridge layout to minimize the fatigue degree due to a physical movement of the bridge workers.
Critical Limits of Commercial Diving on the Construction of Tidal Current Power in Jangjuk Channel

The Korea has significant tidal current energy resources, but it is so hard to work underwater for tidal turbine installation. Therefore commercial diving work is very important for tidal current generator. Also, Jangjuk channel is vary famous as proper area to generate tidal current energy. Nevertheless, no one is studied about characteristics of commercial diving works with installation of tidal current generator. The purpose of this study is to introduce commercial diving with work types and investigate critical limits of diving working under the conditions, which are working only to minutes at slack tide during the neap tide. As the results, work types are five as like mooring installation, OMAS(Offshore Maintenance Access System), support structure installation, cable and turbine installation. Here, the original construction period is expected about 4 months, but the construction take 18 months to complete. The cause of extends construction period is insufficiency of researching tidal current conditions at the site and ignorance of slack tide which need to secure diving working time. Total diving working times are 110th during 18 months, the highest percentage of diving times is turbine installation about 43.6 %, and cable, mooring installation and support structure construction are 27.3 %, 15.5 %, 13.6 %, respectively. On the basis of this study, estimation of times of commercial diving is possible with work types of tidal current power, and has a significance as basic data to determining construction period.
The Analysis on Degree of Concerns for STEAM Education of Elementary School Teachers

This study has investigated concerns of elementary school teachers on STEAM education that is main stream of science-technology education in Korea nowadays. Emphasis on STEAM education of Ministry of education that is new policy about science-technology-refinement education for future led to teachers implement STEAM education on the field of education since 2011. The purpose of this study is to check current degree of concerns of elementary school teachers for STEAM education and explore effective ways to improve concerns of teachers about it. From this study we checked and diagnosed conditions of teachers` concerns on the current STEAM education in Korea. Through this work we found degree of teachers` concerns on the current STEAM education is very low and they are undergoing trial and error recently because of deficiency of understanding on STEAM education and insufficient time to design it and so on.
