Recently, distributed control network system has been widely applied to on-board control system than conventional relay logic with control wire. This paper presents two configuration of driver's desk system using TCN(Train Communication Network). One is configured with TCN, the other is partial adoption of TCN.

19세기초 영국에서 개발된 증기 기관차로 인하여 육상교통이 큰 변혁을 맞은 이래 열차의 속도, 승차감, 신뢰도 및 안전도, 경제성의 제고 등에 대한 계속적인 기술발전과 개량으로 철도 교통은 대량수송 수단의 주역으로 경제발전과 인류역사에 크게 공헌하여 왔다. 산업발전에 따른 고속화와 전철화로 철도차량의 최고속도는 프랑스의 고속전철(TGV)이 300km/h까지 도달했으나 고속주행시의 소음, 공해등으로 인하여 21세기 인류에게 제공될 지상의 대중교통수단으로서는 여러가지의 제한점을 보이고 있다. 최근 우리나라에서도 지속적이고 급속한 대중 교통수단으로서는 여러가지의 제한점을 보이고 있다. 최근 우리나라에서도 지속적이고 급속한 산업발전과 사회복지의 향상으로 국내의 산업물동량과 산업인구의 이동이 급격하게 증가하여 우리나라 산업동맥의 중추인 경부선의 경우 일일 수송능력은 120회/일 이르렀고 철도교통수요의 증가율('84년 예측치 5.9%년)과 특급이상의 승객증가율('84년 예측 12.5%)에 비추어 볼때, 1995년경에는 완전포화 상태에 도달할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 본 소고에서는 21세기 고도사회 진입에 대비하고 국민의 생활수준향상에 부응하는 빠르며, 쾌적하고, 안전한 고속 대중 교통수단으로써 관심을 불러 일으키고 있는 고속전철을 소개하고, 현재 운행하거나 개발중인 외국의 기술현황을 기술적인 면과 운용면에서의 고찰을 통하여 한국의 교통체제, 지형, 미래의 교통구조 등을 고려한 한국형 고속전철의 개발방향을 제시하고저 한다.

The prototype of Korean high speed train (KHST), composed of two power cars, two motorized cars and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested by the domestic researchers. In this paper, the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by the experimental method. The on-line test of KHST has been carried out up to 260 km/h in the KTX line and proved that KHST has no problems in the vehicle's safety and the vibration limits at this speed. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been predicted at 300 km/h and 350 km/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

In this paper, we introduce the hardware of the measuring system for on-line test and evaluation of high speed rail. It is composed of 6 DAMs(Data Aquisition modules), 2 monitoring modules and 1 main computer. Each of DAMs is connected many kinds of sensors, such as accelerometers, thermocouples, strain gauges, volt meters, current meter, odermeter, and measures the signals from sensors, saves it and displays it on the displayer. Two monitoring modules monitor the major signals transferred from DAMs. A main computer controls 4 DAMs(DAM1, DAM2, DAM31 and DAM32) and 2 monitoring modules and also monitors the major signals transferred from DAMs.

In this paper, we introduce the software of the measuring system for on-line test and evaluation of high speed rail. This software should set and control the hardware of the measuring system, perform the analysis and calculation of measuring data and interface between users and the measuring system. For this purpose, three programs, such as a measuring program, a monitoring program and post-processing program, have developed.

In this paper, we introduce the characteristics of ride comfort for KTX(Korea Train express) and HSR 350(Korea High Speed Train project). The concept of term "ride comfort" is equivocal. Generally it is defined as the vehicle vibration. There are many studies on evaluation method of ride comfort for railway. In the case of KTX, the ride comfort has been evaluated according to ISO 2631 standard. But the ride comfort for HSR 350 has been assessed by UIC 513R. We have reviewed the ride comfort for KTX and HSR 350 by same method, such as ISO 2631 and UIC 513R, and compared the result of KTX with that of HSR 350.

경부고속전철에서 사용되는 제동시스템의 성능 및 특성을 종합적이고 효율적으로 확인하기 위하여 차량 내에 상시 계측시스템을 구축하였으며, 차량의 제동과 관련된 측정과 평가는 경부고속전철이 상업 운행을 하는 차량이므로 구성품의 변경을 가져오지 않는 범위 내에서 수행하였다. 경부고속전철의 차량 내에 설치된 계측장비와 Lab VIEW로 개발된 계측프로그램을 이용하여 제동관련 데이터를 실시간으로 감시하고 측정하였다. 또한 차후에 분석프로그램을 통해 제동시스템의 성능 및 특성을 알아보기 위해 시운전 시험 중에 제동관련 데이터를 실시간으로 저장하였다. 본 논문은 경부고속전철의 전기제동에 대한 설계치와 실측치를 서로 비교하였으며, 이에 제동시스템의 성능을 정확하게 확인하고 검증할 수 있었다.

본 연구는 '선도기술개발사업' 중 최고운행속도 350㎞의 한국형 고속전철 시스템개발 및 관련 핵심기술 확보를 사업 목표로 하는 '한국형 고속전칠 기술개발 사업' 연구과제의 하나로 수행된 과제이며, 한국형 고속전철에 적용하기 위한 한국인의 정서와 체형에 적합한 한국형 경량 Seat 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 경량 Seat 개발을 위한 기초기술 연구로서 인간공학적 Seat 설계기술 개발, 경량 소재 개발, 구조물 접합기술 개발, 난연소재 개발, A/V 내장기술 개발 등의 연구를 수행하였고, 그 결과를 토대로 하여 경량 Seat의 Prototype 설계와 검증을 실시하였으며, Mock Up Seat를 제작하였다.

전력선이나 전기철도에 인접한 통신용 동(copper)케이블에는 전력선이나 전기철도에 흐르는 높은 전류/전압에 의해 유도전압이 발생한다. 2004년 1월부터 고속전철의 상업 시운전이 시작되고 4월부터는 상업운행이 개시됨에 따라 유도전압으로부터 통신품질을 보호하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 고에서는 고속전철에 의해 발생하는 유도현상과 유도대책장치인 차폐케이블 차폐선, INT 등의 기술을 분석하였다.
