A Study on the Relationship between Online Game Rating and Average Event Period Using One-way ANOVA (One-way ANOVA를 이용한 온라인 게임이용등급과 평균 이벤트 기간과의 관계에 대한 연구 (전체이용가, 12세 이용가, 청소년이용불가 게임을 중심으로))

  • 신대영(2018, 2019)의 연구에서 RPG장르를 기준으로 T-test를 활용하여 두 게임간의 평균 이벤트 기간의 차이를 조사, 분석한 결과, 신대영(2018, 2019)의 두 연구 모두 두게임간의 평균 이벤트 기간은 차이가 없음을 알 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전체이용가, 12세이용가 그리고 청소년이용불가 게임을 선정하여 One-way ANOVA를 이용하여 세 게임간의 평균 차이를 연구하였다. 분산분석 결과, 유의수준 P값이 0.657(P>0.05)로 세 게임간의 이벤트 실시와 관련하여 평균의 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The object of this study is to empirically analyze the effects of information support quality and service quality on service satisfaction of department store. To investigate the purpose of this study, literature review and survey were conducted. for statistical analysis, factor analysis, analysis of variance(ANOVA), and regression in order by the contingency grouping method were used. In conclusion of this study are as follows First, The regression analysis had effects on information support quality and service satisfaction. Second, The Analysis of variance(ANOVA) and regression had effects on information support quality and service satisfaction as service quality factors. Result, The information support accuracy and service quality had additional effect about customer relation.

Process Optimization of Thermal-sprayed STS316 Coating (STS316 용사코팅의 최적 공정 설계)

  • In the present study, process optimization for thermal-sprayed STS316 coating has been performed using $L_9(3^4)$ orthogonal array and analysis of variance (ANOVA). STS316 coatings were fabricated by flame spray process on steel substrate, and the hardness test and microstructure observation of the coatings were studied. The results of hardness test were analyzed by ANOVA. The ANOVA results showed that the spray distance had the greatest effect on hardness of the coating, on the other hands, the effects of oxygen gas flow and spray distance were ignorable. From these results, the optimal combination of the flame spray parameters could be derived, and confirmation experiment was carried out to verify these derived results. The calculated hardness of the coatings by ANOVA was found to approximately close to that of confirmation experimental result. Thus, it was considered that design of experiments using orthogonal array and ANOVA was effective for process optimization of thermal-sprayed STS316 coating.

A study on improving leadership of reserve officers' training corps (ROTC) (학군장교 (ROTC) 리더십 향상 방안 연구)

  • ROTC is the system that selects the best students in university and implements the military training of two years and uses them as beginning commander of the army by commissioning as officers. ROTC makes up a very large portion of the army and society in Korea in terms of the size and role. Therefore, it is very important to enhance intangible combat power of the Korean army by improving leadership of primary grade officer from ROTC. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether or not ROTC candidate training program is providing the right training, so as to improve ROTC's leadership and present improvement plan. First, we divide ROTC candidate training program into three areas and take the 1st and 2nd survey. Then we compare and analyze the actual condition and recognition of investigation using statistical analysis methods such as chi-square test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. Also, we analyze the element affecting the army leader's three qualities formation which are basic elements of ROTC cadet's leadership using multiple regression analysis.

  • This study analyzes the travel behavior for short-term demand forecasting model of KTX. This research suggests the following. First, the outlier criteria is considered to appropriate twice the standard deviation of the traffic. Second, the result of a homogeneity test using ANOVA analysis has been divided into weekdays(Mon Thu and weekends(Fri Sun). Third, a cluster analysis for O/D pairs using trip frequency, traffic averages and th distance between stations was performed.

  • To find the working condition is one of the important factors in precision machining. In this study, we analyzed maximum working temperature by infra-red camera and surface roughness in side wall end milling using design of experiment (DOE): RSM(response surface methodology), ANOM(analysis of means) and ANOVA(analysis of variance) by table of orthogonal array. ANOM and ANOVA are well adapted to select sensitivity of design variables for maximum working temperature and surface roughness. The effective design variables and their levels should be determined using ANOM, ANOVA. RSM is presented 2nd order approximation polynomial of maximum working temperature and surface roughness is composed with design variables. Therefore, it is expected that the proposed procedure using design of experiment : table of orthogonal array, ANOM, ANOVA and RSM can be easily utilized to solve the problem of working condition.

  • Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is a method to analyze the data from the experimental designs comparing two or more groups or treatments at the same time, and is the most effective tool of analyzing more complex data sets with different source of variations. This article describes the logic of ANOVA, the application of the method to the analysis of a simple data set, and the methods available for performing planned or post hoc multiple comparisons between the treatments means. In addition, the common misuse of the techniques is also discussed to emphasize that an inappropriate statistical analysis is potentially far more harmful than poorly conducted research. Lastly, an example is given for illustration purposes.

Analysis of freshness of rice depending on packing materials using MANOVA (다변량 분산분석을 이용한 포장 재질에 따른 쌀의 신선도 분석)

  • This paper concerns the freshness of rice depending on packing materials using MANOVA. Freshness of rice is measured in terms of moisture content and rice flavor. Ordinary paper and charcoal-coated paper are compared as packing materials. Storing places are considered as a block. The bivariate observations of moisture content and the rice flavor are compared using MANOVA for a completely randomized block design. It is observed that there is a significant difference between ordinary paper and charcoal-coated paper. Therefore we apply ANOVA for moisture content and rice flavor, respectively. Significant differences are observed for the moisture content but not for the rice flavor.

  • 이 연구에서는 경찰공무원의 PTSD 수준을 파악하고 조직적인 특성과 PTSD 수준의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 조직적 특성에 따른 PTSD에 대한 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 조직적 특성에 따른 PTSD 수준의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 일원변량 분산분석(One-way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 그 결과 근무관서와 근무부서별 요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 차이가 발견되었다.
