  • Studies for structure design has conducted in many research institutions. A basic concept of Performance-Based Design for structures was presented in seismic fields. Hereafter, Demand were defined to communicate owner's demand to designer by several research institution. Performance-Based Design is guaranteed by an accurate analysis from hazard affected to structures and from social, economical and environmental effects. It is essential to define Performance Level and Performance Objective to grasp accurate demand for structures. In this study, Performance Level and Performance Objective in ATC-40, FEMA-273 and Eurocode were defined to introduce Performance-Based Design.

Requirement Analysis of Navigation System for Lunar Lander According to Mission Conditions (임무조건에 따른 달 착륙선 항법시스템 요구성능 분석)

  • The navigation system of lunar lander are composed of various navigation sensors which have a complementary characteristics such as inertial measurement unit, star tracker, altimeter, velocimeter, and camera for terrain relative navigation to achieve the precision and autonomous navigation capability. The required performance of sensors has to be determined according to the landing scenario and mission requirement. In this paper, the specifications of navigation sensors are investigated through covariance analysis. The reference error model with 77 state vector and measurement model are derived for covariance analysis. The mission requirement is categorized as precision exploration with 90m($3{\sigma}$ ) landing accuracy and area exploration with 6km($3{\sigma}$ ), and the landing scenario is divided into PDI(Powered descent initiation) and DOI(Deorbit initiation) scenario according to the beginning of autonomous navigation. The required specifications of the navigation sensors are derived by analyzing the performance according to the sensor combination and landing scenario.

  • Metal ducts for transporting air conditioning and heating inside ships have recently been replaced by cloth ducts that have the advantage of delivering air evenly to the compartments, with excellent noise reduction in major compartments, such as combat command rooms, steering rooms, and sound detector cabins. Since the performance requirements of fabric ducts for vessels are strict, and the entire length of the ducts was imported from Korea, the government wants to create economic effects through localization of fabric ducts. Air permeability and fire prevention performance tests verified the applicability to naval vessels of fabric ducts developed by Hyundai Heavy Industries and HiDact, and performance requirements presented in the POS were verified. As a result of the tests, the fabric ducts met the requirements for air permeability and fireproof performance.

  • Performance-based Project Delivery System(PPDS) is one of Project Delivery System that when owner ask for performance than constructor feel free to choose materials, technology, an engineering method. PPDS rank higher position than Performance Warranty Contract and Technical Proposal Bid. This study aims to propose Improvement Idea for PPDS that based Housing Performance Grading Indication System. 'Request-performance Checklist' is used as communication means(between owner and constructor) and a kind of corroborative facts make the procedures achievement of project like contract easier.

  • KM(Kick Motor)는 항우연에서 주관하여 개발하고 있는 3단형 과학관측로켓(KSR-III)이다. 본 연구는 이 KM에 적용되는 추진제 개발로서 추진기관에서 요구하는 성능, 밀도, 연소특성, 기계적특성, 점화성, 추진제/라이너/EFDM 접착력을 달성하고, 장기저장시 추진제에 작용하는 온도, 중력등 하중에 대한 추진제의 내구성을 확인하는 수면예측시험을 통해 KM이 사용하는 기간중 요구성능을 발휘할 수 있는 추진제 개발을 목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 KM 추진제 개발중 1차적으로 추진기관 요구성능을 달성하기 위해서 추진제 성능분석을 통한 기본조성을 설정하고, 이 기간조성을 토대로 밀도, 연소특성, 기계적 특성, 추진제/라이너/EPDM 접착력 실험 결과등을 정리하였고, 추진제 성능을 확인하는데 일반적으로 널리 이용하는 있는 표준모타(ST-8)에 적용하여 이론적 성능분석 및 실제 연소시험을 실시하여 그 결과를 비교 분석하였다.

  • A-SMGCS는 진화하는 개념으로 현재 공개된 기준이나 권고사항의 일반요건들이 모두 유효하지는 않지만, 기술요건을 도출하기 위한 방법론으로 ICAO, EUROCAE, 유럽항행안전기구 문서에서 정확한 운용, 기능, 성능상의 요건을 추출하여 이러한 요건을 아키텍처 구조에 반영하여야 한다. 타 프로젝트의 A-SMGCS 지상시스템 기술요구 문서의 성능요구사항 사례 연구를 통해 A-SMGCS 개발 시에 고려할 성능요구사항을 고찰하였다.

  • The identification of significant structural components under seismic loading through a probabilistic approach is of interest to many structural engineers. The First-Order Second Moment method can be used to achieve this goal by estimating uncertainty in the seismic demand of a structural system induced by the capacity uncertainties of each structural component. Significant structural components are those to which the seismic demand of the structure is more sensitive than it is to other ones. The developed procedure demonstrated by a ductile reinforced concrete frame shows that it is computationally effective and robust in terms of identifying significant structural components.

  • Delivering clear requirements of the military in the defense acquisition process is a key activity for successful weapon acquisition. In the field of defense, Operational Requirements Documents (ORDs) are prepared to derive and deliver the requirements of the military. In this study, we compare and analyze the form and content of the recent domestic ORD with reference to the US Department of Defense (DoD) ORD. As a result of the study, it is found that the domestic ORD form needs to be supplemented with in accordance with the purpose of the operation, while the requirement parameter, which is a core item of ORD, is insufficient. In order to address these issues, detailed contents of the ORD form suitable for the purpose of this study are presented. Also, we provide clear definitions, explanations, and examples of the operational system's key performance parameters and suggest ways to clearly communicate the requirements of the military.

항만 DGPS의 성능을 강화하기 위한 향상된 감시 기법

  • 다른 응용분야에 비하여 소략적인 성능을 요구했던 해양 분야에서도 최근들어 항만 영역에 따라 수치적으로 구체화된 성능을 요구하고 있고, 측위 정확도뿐만 아니라 무결성, 연속성, 가용성 면에서도 보장을 요구하고 있다. 현 DGPS 기준국의 서비스를 사용하는 사용자 입장에서, DGPS 서비스는 아직 IMO에서 요구하는 성능을 모두 만족시키기에 불충분하다. 특히, HEA 영역에서 요구하는 측위 정확도 수준은 만족하나 무결성 측면에서는 성능을 보장할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 기존 DGPS 기준국의 감시, 보장, 공지 기능을 강화하여 무결성 측면에서 보강하기 위한 향상된 감시 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 현재 DGPS 서비스 감시 기능의 취약점을 제시하고 이에 대한 영향을 분석하였으며 이를 토대로 대책을 마련하였다. 본 연구결과는 추후 DGPS 서비스 개선을 위한 기초연구로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • A non-functional requirement is a property or quality that the proposed systems have to support the functional requirements. A non-functional requirement is reflected by quality attribute These non-functional requirements playa crucial role during system development, serving as selection criteria for choosing among decisions. It should be continuously considered through the software development process. In spite of the importance of the non-functional requirements, it received little attention because of ambiguousness and invisibility of non-functional requirements. Therefore non-functional model which is a process to analyze the non-functional requirement is proposed for improving the management efficiency of non-functional requirements. Also, this paper presents the trace among the UML diagrams to the conceptual model. According to the non-functional requirement development process, this paper achieved performance-based case study. After then, non-functional requirement should be traced using the UML diagrams.
