  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderational effects of self-efficacy on the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention of nursery teachers. Data were collected from 355 nursery teachers on JSS, TIS, and SES, which then were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, job satisfaction was positively related to self-efficacy, Second, job satisfaction was negatively related to turnover intention. Third, self-efficacy was negatively related to turnover intention. Fourth, self-efficacy had moderational effects on the relationships between job satisfaction and turnover intention. The above findings imply that various programs should be taken to enhance the self-efficacy of teachers in order to reduce turnover rates.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the relation between the detailed categories of the self-efficacy of workers in the field of railroad signaling and the detailed categories of their fatigue in the use of analysis of moment structure(AMOS) model. A self-administered questionnaire survey of workers in the field of railroad signaling had been conducted and a total of 341 copies were analyzed. This study had the assumption that their general self-efficacy and social self-efficacy would negatively influence their physical fatigue and mental fatigue. As a result, their general self-efficacy negatively influenced their physical fatigue and mental fatigue, whereas their social self-efficacy didn't influence their physical fatigue and mental fatigue. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the fatigue of the study subjects by enhancing corporate support to increase their general self-efficacy.

  • This study aims to understand family support and self-efficacy-mediated structural relation of college students' unemployment stress with their adaptation to school life. Findings of the research are summarized as follows. The study looked into how unemployment stress would directly affect self-efficacy, family support and adaptation to school life. It was found that the unemployment stress would have immediate negative effects on the self-efficacy, family support and adaptation to school life. In addition, the study noticed that with both family support and self-efficacy applied as mediating factors, unemployment stress influences college students' adaptation to school life indirectly and negatively. After the investigation on the immediate effects of family support in relation to the self-efficacy, the study indicated that family support has an immediate positive influence on the self-efficacy. In terms of self-efficacy, it appeared to affect adaptation to school life both positively and directly but, its indirect effects on the adaptation to school life was not confirmed. The study failed to find any direct influence of the family support on adaptation to school life but learned that the family support causes an indirect positive effect through self-efficacy, the mediating factor. In conclusion, the study suggests that adaptation to school life improves as long as unemployment stress decreases, while the family support and the self-efficacy are enhanced.

  • This Research was conducted to understand the effect of freshman college students' addiction to smartphone on Depression, with self-efficacy and self-esteem as the parameters. The subjects of this study were 218 freshman students attending two college in G-city. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 24.0 and AMOS 21.0 programs. As a result of this study, the subjects' smartphone addiction showed a positive correlation with depression. Self-efficacy and self-esteem showed negative correlation with smartphone addiction. Self-efficacy was the most influential factor in smartphone addiction. Depression was a factor affecting the addiction of smartphone through self-efficacy and self-esteem. It is necessary to support the students who are depressed by the depression test to improve the self-efficacy and self-esteem. Also, it is necessary to prepare a program to improve self-efficacy and self-esteem in the prevention and intervention of smartphone addiction because the possibility of addiction to smartphone is relatively high because freshmen of professional college have low self-efficacy and self-esteem based on the research results.
