An Empirical Study on the Structural Relationships among Colleague trustworthiness, Organizational trust and Organizational citizenship behaviors (동료신뢰성, 조직신뢰, 조직시민행동 간의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the structural relationships among colleague trustworthiness, organizational trust and organizational citizenship behaviors(OCB). To conduct such examination, the author (i) designated colleague trustworthiness, organizational trust and OCB as variables and (ii) designed a research model by conducting preceding studies on the variables. To examine the research model the author collected the survey data from the 2 universities employees, 134 copies of questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS programs. The analysis results are as follows. Especially, (1) there was no statistically significant relationship between colleague trustworthiness and OCB. (2) it was found that higher degree of integrity the constructs of colleague trustworthiness would lead to higher degree of organizational trust. (3) organizational trust has been found to exert mediating effect on the relationship between colleague trustworthiness and OCB. The implication and limitation which this study are as follows. First, this study has discovered that organizational trust is the important mediating variable that affect the process of relationship between colleague trustworthiness and OCB. This study have limitation in that was conducted based on cross-sectional design of research. Because, the formation of trust is a dynamic process.

The Relationship between Trust and Organization Commitment within Organization of Coast Guard Officers (해양경찰공무원의 조직내 신뢰와 조직몰입과의 관계)

  • Coast guard organization has very different working environment with other general administrative organizations or police organizations. Because they are charging various coastal crimes and safeties by using war vessel at ocean, it was expected that in case of coast guard officers, the impact on organization commitment for each trust factor within organization has the differentiation with other administrative organizations. Core of results by conducting positive research is as following: It is indicated that for coast guard officer, organization trust factor most strongly impacts on organization commitment, and of social trust factors, colleague trust factor more impacts relatively than boss trust factor. Then, when searching the difference of trust factor recognition depending on population sociological properties of coast guard officers, it is indicated that the one having the experience of working at war vessel has more trust to its colleagues than the one having not and executives more trust their boss than non-executives. The reason why the trust to colleague is higher than to boss is recognized that it is caused from deep relationship with colleagues who work and live together when considering working conditions of security vessel.

Effects of Organizational Trust on Commitment and Citizenship Behavior (조직신뢰가 몰입 및 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Organizational trust (OT) plays a substantial role to attain competitive advantages. It is an effective way to enhance organizational effectiveness. OT makes employees to have a positive emotion toward a firm, also it contributes employees to bring a spontaneous behavior. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among OT, organizational commitment (OC), and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) theoretically and empirically. A total of 228 cases in 15 Chinese companies are used for empirical analysis. The results show that OT has a positive effect on OC and OCB. It is suggested that OT is an important variable to improve emotional and continuance commitment. Also the results reveal that OCB is a meaningful dependent factor that is affected by OC.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 조직구조와 조직문화, 윤리의식의 특성을 분석하고 조직갈등과 상사신뢰, 조직효과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 건설기업의 조직원을 대상으로 규명하고자 한다. 지금까지의 기업은 조직효과를 높이기 위하여 주로 조직구조나 조직문화를 중심으로 연구와 평가를 해왔다. 특히 윤리의식이 많은 이슈가 되고 있는 현대사회에서 기업은 윤리경영으로 얻은 신뢰를 통해 경쟁력을 높여 지속경영을 가능케 하고자 노력하고 있다. 이에 기업조직의 윤리의식이 조직갈등과 상사신뢰, 조직효과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하여 이를 바탕으로 국내 건설기업의 조직효과성 제고를 위한 실질적인 방안들을 모색 할 수 있다.

Perception of Organizational Trust Culture of Regional General Hospital Employees and its Effect on Organizational Trust Activities (지역 종합병원 종사자의 조직신뢰 문화에 대한 인식이 조직신뢰 활동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to provide basic data for hospital organizational management by analyzing perception of organizational culture of general hospital employees and its effect on organizational trust activities. A total of 437 employees from the 5 general hospitals in G city were surveyed with anonymous self-administered questionnaires and the result was analyzed by t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result, there were differences in the perception of organizational trust culture depending on sex, age, education, and income. The perception of organizational trust culture had a significantly positive correlation with organizational trust activities. The factors such as consideration, social responsibility, morality, and competence had a significantly positive effect on organizational trust activities. This study would help to improve the organizational trust that is perceived by hospital employees by improving organizational trust culture with policy and institutional support.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 민간경비원의 조직문화와 조직신뢰 및 조직성과의 관계를 규명하는데 있다. 이 연구는 2010년 6월 서울소재 4개소 민간경비회사의 민간경비원을 모집단으로 설정한 후 판단표집법을 이용하여 최종분석에 이용된 사례 수는 총 161명이다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 .592이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 조직문화는 조직신뢰에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 개발적, 합리적, 합의적, 위계적 문화가 활성화 되면 인지 감정적, 행동적 신뢰를 증가시킨다. 둘째, 민간경비원들의 조직문화는 조직성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 합리적, 합의적 문화가 활성화 되면, 직무만족은 높다. 반면, 개발적, 합의적, 위계적 문화가 활성화 되면, 조직몰입은 높다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 조직신뢰는 조직성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 인지 감정적, 행동적 신뢰가 높게 작용하면, 직무만족, 조직몰입은 증대된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediation effect of organizational trust and intrinsic motivation in the relationship between emotional leadership and creativity, suggesting the importance of organizational creativity. Therefore, this study conducted a survey for employees who are working at Korean ICT firms, analyzed the relationship with 241 valid samples, and verified hypotheses using PLS-SEM. The results are as follows. First, emotional leadership had a positive effect on organizational trust. Second, organizational trust had a positive effect on the intrinsic motivation of employees. Third, intrinsic motivation had a positive impact on employees' creativity. Fourth, the organizational trust did not have a positive effect on the creativity of employees. By verifying the mediation effects of organizational trust and intrinsic motivation, this study analyzed the relationship between emotional leadership and creativity, expanding the existing studies of the leadership.

  • The high commitment of a revenue officer makes to raise efficiency, can be directly related to task result and validity. The fundamental process through trust in superior, consisting the core of tax execution, needs to be studied significantly. This study is proposed to verify the practical influence of trust in superior with respect to productivity, participation in decision-making, and concentration. These factors are important prerequisites with respect to task processing of a tax revenue officer. As the result of analysis, the more trust in superior effects on the statue of productivity, participation in decision-making and concentration. It is the proof that the trust in superior procedure contributes in the aspects of productivity, participation in decision-making and concentration through the process of encouraging organizational validity.

Relationship between Organizational Culture, Organizational Trust and Organizational Performance of Special Guard Organization (특수경비조직의 조직문화와 조직신뢰 및 조직성과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture, organizational trust and organizational performance of special guard organization. This study had selected special guards from 4 different private guard companies which are in Seoul area on March 2011. Using Judgement Sampling, 161 samples were drawn for the use of final analysis. Questionnaire used in this study was consisted of the total 42 question, and executed frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis by SPSSWIN 18.0. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value which represents the reliability of the survey came out to be over .592. The results are following: First, the organizational culture of special guard organization affects organizational trust. That is, when a developmental, reasonable, consensual and hierarchical culture is activated, cognitive emotional and behavioral trust is increased. Second, organizational culture of special guard organization affects organizational performance. That is, when a reasonable and consensual culture is activated, job-satisfaction becomes higher. On the other hand, when a developmental, reasonable and hierarchical culture is activated, organizational flow becomes higher. Third, organizational trust of special guard organization affects organizational performance. That is, when a cognitive emotional and behavioral trust works highly, job-satisfaction and organizational flow is increased. Fourth, Special security organization's organizational culture affects as a result in organization result. As well as organizational culture exerts direct influence on organization outcome, I exert effect that is indirect in organization outcome through action trust which is low rank factor of organization trust.

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically reveal the causal relationship between ethics management, organizational trust, organizational identification, and organizational citizenship behavior perceived by members of public sports organizations. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on the employees of Korea sports promotion foundation, the city and county sports association, and the federation of sports associations in Kyoung-In and Kangwon area. The results were as follows : First, ethics management has been found to influence organizational trust. Second, ethics management has been found to influence organization identification. Third, organizational trust has been found to influence organizational identification. Fourth, organizational trust has been found to influence organizational citizenship behavior. Fifth, organizational identification has been found to influence organizational citizenship behavior. This study confirmed that the ethical management activities of public sports organizations were positively influencing the various pro-social behaviors of the members who voluntarily perform outside of their jobs for the development of organization by trusting and identifying the organization.
