Damage Monitoring in Foundation-Structure Interface of Harbor Caisson Using Vibration-based Autoregressive Model (진동기반 자기회귀모델을 통한 항만케이슨 지반-구조 경계부의 손상 모니터링)

  • This study presents the damage monitoring method in foundation-structure interface of harbor caisson using vibration-based autoregressive (AR) model. In order to achieve the objective, the following approaches are implemented. Firstly, vibration-based AR model is selected to monitor the damage in foundation-structure interface of caisson structure. Secondly, finite element analysis on a caisson structure model is implemented to evaluate the vibration-based damage monitoring method. Finally, vibration test on a caisson structure model is performed to evaluate applicability of vibration-based AR model method for foundation-structure interface of caisson structure.

  • This study propose the vibration-based damage monitoring scheme for steel girder bolt-connection member by using wireless acceleration sensor node. In order to achieve the objective, the following approaches are implemented. Firstly, wireless acceleration sensor node is described on the design of hardware components and embedded operation software. Secondly, the vibration-based damage monitoring scheme of the steel girder bolt-connection member is described. The damage monitoring scheme performed global damage occurrence alarming and damage localization estimation by the acceleration response feature analysis. The global damage alarming is applied to the correlation coefficient of power spectral density. The damage localization estimation is applied to the frequency-based damage detection technique and the mode-shape-based damage detection technique. Finally, the performance of the vibration-based damage monitoring scheme is evaluated for detecting the bolt-connection member damage on a lab-scale steel girder.

  • 본 연구에서는 가속도기반 무선센서노드와 MEMS 가속도계 센서를 이용하여 철도교량의 구조건전성모니터링 기법들의 성능을 검토하였다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 세 단계의 연구가 수행되었다. 첫째, 저가형 가속도기반 무선센서노드를 설계하였다. 둘째, 철도교량의 구조건전성모니터링을 위한 진동특성 및 건전성평가기법을 선정하였다. 마지막으로, 모형 강판형교에 대한 진동실험을 통해 개발된 가속도기반 무선센서노드의 성능을 평가하고 일련의 손상 시나리오를 대상으로 건전성평가 기법의 성능을 검토하였다. 시간영역 기법인 AR 모델과 주파수영역 기법인 파워스펙트럼 상관계수가 강판형교 구조손상 모니터링에 높은 정확도를 보였다.

  • A vibration-based monitoring system is newly proposed to predict the loss of prestress forces in prestressed concrete (PSC) girder bridges. Firstly, a global damage alarming algorithm is newly proposed to monitor the occurrence of prestress-loss by using the change in frequency responses. Secondly, a prestress-loss prediction algorithm is selected to estimate the extent of prestress-loss by using the change in natural frequencies. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed system is experimentally evaluated on a scaled PSC girder model for which acceleration responses were measured for several damage scenarios of prestress-loss.

  • This paper presents hybrid structural damage monitoring system which performs both global damage assessment of structure and damage detection of local structural joints. Hybrid damage monitoring system is composed of vibration-based technique and electro/mechanic impedance technique. Vibration-based technique detects global characteristic change ot structure using modal characteristic change of structure, and electro/mechanical impedance technique detects damage existence of local structural joints using impedance change of PZT sensor. For the verification of the proposed hybrid monitoring system, a series of damage scenarios are designed to loosened bolts situations of the structural joints, and acceleration response and impedance response signatures are measured. The proposed hybrid monitoring system is implemented to monitor global damage-state and local damages in structural joints.

  • The vibration monitoring system using the sensor network is used in various fields. However, in case of the vibration of the existing products, the size of the monitoring system is increased due to the separation of the sensor data collection function and the communication function. In this paper, we design and implement a lightweight vibration monitoring system using the MQTT protocol, which is oneM2M device standard protocol for the Arduino and Ethernet modules, to monitor frequent earthquakes and vibrations in narrow places.

  • 철도의 고속화 및 수송력 증대로 인하여 철도 터널 및 주변 환경에서 발생하는 소음 및 진동 공해는 커다란 사회문제로 대두되고 있으며, 도시의 고층화로 인해 차단벽을 이용한 방음 기술의 한계와 철도 차량의 고속, 경량화 추세로 인한 소음. 진동, 위험상황으로 인한 문제는 지속적으로 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 기술을 결합한 안정성을 보장하는 IT 기반기술의 위험상황 감지, 철도 소음진동 분석, 모니터링 및 제어할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고, 철도 인근지역 주민 또는 유관기관에 소음진동 수치에 따른 적합한 대응 시스템을 제공할 수 있는 IoT 기술 제어 분석 및 안정화 서비스 시스템을 설계하였다.
