  • The objective of this study is to obtain the correlation between the spray characteristics and the etching characteristics for the optimization of etching system in the micro fabrication industry. The etching characteristics such as etching rate were measured under different conditions. The single spray characteristics such as droplet size and velocity were measured by PDA system. These were compared to the etching characteristics. The twin spray characteristics in the overlap region were analyzed to predict the effect of them on the etching characteristics with the pitch and also were compared to the single spray. The etching rate was increased in case of high spray pressure and in the region of spray center. It was found that the etching characteristics could be correlated with the single spray characteristics and the twin spray characteristics were correlated with the etching characteristics.

  • This study is designed to offer basic materials necessary for the instruction of effective clinical practices and the establishment of relationship with patients by means of making an analysis of the characteristics of patients affecting the behavior of students majoring in dental hygiene avoiding patients and countermeasures. With this in mind, the researcher worked with sophomores and juniors exposed to clinical practices during the period ranging from October 22, 2001 to November 9, 2001. The researcher came to the following conclusions on the basis of the findings of this survey. 1. The characteristics of patients influencing the behavior of avoiding them were categorized into appearance characteristics, personality characteristics, treatment-cooperative characteristics, and speech and behavior characteristics. Speech and behavior characteristics(4.26) turned out to be the most influential factor of all, which was followed by treatment-cooperative characteristics(3.68), personality characteristics(3.62) and appearance characteristics(3.42) in the right order. 2. The survey shows that foul breath and obnoxious oral(3.94) cavity were the worst factors of appearance characteristics and that using abusive language and being too aggressive(4.41) were the worst factors of personality characteristics. The study reveals that not putting faith in trainees(4.02) was the highest factor of treatment-cooperative characteristics and that using abusive language(4.50) was the highest factor of speech and behavior characteristics. 3. There was a significant positive relation between the domains of the characteristics of avoiding patients. The study indicates that the more subjects avoided the characteristics of patients, the more they avoided appearance characteristics(r =.444, p<.001) and that the more subjects avoided treatment-cooperative characteristics, the more they avoided appearance characteristics(r=.324, P<.001) and personality characteristics(r=.691, p<.001), and that the more they avoided speech and behavior characteristics, the more they avoided appearance characteristics(r=.265, p<.001) and personality characteristics (r=.531, p<.001). 4. The study shows that there was a significant difference between appearance characteristics and the growth areas of the subjects(p<.05) and that there was a significant difference between the satisfaction of clinical practices(p<.05) and health status(p<.05) in terms of personality characteristics. 5. The subjects avoided preschoolers, whose age ranged from 4 to 6(33.5%), most and avoided boys(71.4%) more than girls. They avoided those who were bereft of jobs(62.9%). And they avoided handicapped persons most in terms of special patients and avoided infant patients(31.0%). 6. The subjects turned out to have negative and passive countermeasures against those patients that had ever been avoided. So the researcher would like to suggest that theoretic education and training programs should be conducted in this respect by incorporating this mailer into the hygiene curriculum.

  • It is widely known that patients' utilization pattern for medical care facilities and the patientflow are influenced by multi-factors, such as demographic characteristics, structural characteristics of society, socio-psychological characteristics(value, attitude, norms, culture, health behavior, etc.), economic characteristics(income, medical price, relative price, physician induced demand, etc.), geographical accessibility, systematic characteristics(health care delivery system, payment methods for physician fees, form of health care security, etc.), and characteristics of medical facilities(reliability, quality of medical care, convenience, kindness, tec.). This study was conducted to research the mechanism of patient-flow according to changes of health care system(implementation of national health insurance, health care referral system and regionalization of health care utilization, etc.) and characteristics of medical facilities(ownership of hospital, characteristics of medical services, non-medical characteristics, etc.). In this study, the fact could be ascertained that the patient-flow had been influenced by changes of health care system and characteristics of medical facilities.

For this purpose, K-POP characteristics were classified into musical characteristics and star characteristics. The results of the study are as follows. First, both musical characteristics and star characteristics of K-POP characteristics had a significant effect on favorability of Korean Wave content. Second, both musical characteristics and star characteristics of K-POP have a significant effect on K-POP listening intention. Third, both musical characteristics and star characteristics of K-POP characteristics had a significant effect on the purchase intention of Korean products through Korean Wave content. However, the relative influence of star characteristics is higher than K-POP characteristics. The results of this study will be useful data for promoting Korean pop among Chinese consumers.

We considered two characteristics which are team members' psychological characteristics (achievement needs and conflict emotion) and knowledge network characteristics among team members (internal cohesion and external bridging) and verified the relationship between these characteristics and team performance. Furthermore, we examined whether these characteristics have a different effect on team performance according to the mastery climate. This study performed a survey targeting team members in knowledge based firms and 376 final surveys to be used as a sample in this study. The result showed that team members' psychological characteristics and knowledge network characteristics among Team members have an influence on team performance significantly. In addition, the master climate moderated the relationship between team members' psychological characteristics and team performance.

  • Recently, implementing ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) systems has been one of major concerns of many companies. Despite the trend in the business area, few theoretical researches about the ERP have been published to date. The primary propose of current study, therefore, lies in examining the effects of change management characteristics on ERP performance. Top management support, user participation, and consulting support were selected as change management characteristics. Additionally, ERP implementation characteristics were considered as contingency variables which may moderate the relationships between change management characteristics and ERP performance. Two ERP implementation characteristic variables introeuced in this study were ERP implementation approach and ERP implementation strategy. Hypotheses concerning the relationships among those variables of change management characteristics. ERP performance and ERP implementation characteristics were empirically tested. The findings show that change management characteristics are strongly correlated with ERP performance, and ERP implementation characteristics have contingency effects, partially at least, on the relationship between change management characteristics and ERP performance.
