  • IoT is the foundation technology that the things share the information through connected with Internet to provide service based on these information. It is applied to various fields such as personal, public and industry. Therefore, the service development is required to meet the requirement of the various service environments. The IoT service environment will be developed as the participation IoT service environment which increase the value and efficiency such as the Broadcasting and web services changed from the service provider environment to the user participation service. The user can directly reflect their requirements using the user participation IoT service environment. So, the types of IoT services will diverse and accelerate the spread of IoT service. In this paper, we derive the IoT service element through the analysis of various service scenarios, and propose the participation IoT service model and modeling mechanism. It provides the sequential service model and the relation based service model according to the service modeling proficiency of user. The proposed environment provides the web-based user interface that is implemented by the participation IoT service brokering platform.

  • In the IoT environment, context information is important to provide context service to the user. For this, collected data from devices such as sensors or actuators, converts to context information using the ontology. Because the existing ontologies designed for target service, if the user wants to change the service requirements, service condition, service environment or another service, overall ontology will be redesigned to the changed service. To overcome this difficulty, we propose the cross-vertical ontology model called the Generic Ontology Models(GOMs). It can define the user's desired services without regarding to place and situation. Also, we propose IoT service concept model that represents data flow of the IoT service and IoT service environment. Moreover, as the use case, we show that the proposed GOMs are able to provide the IoT service well.

  • It is necessary to develop a service that meets various environmental requirements so that the Internet of things can be applied to the fourth industry in overall. This paper presents a method for extracting IoT devices information to change the current provider centric service provision environment in order to construct a user centered service provision environment for Web services. Also, it provides users to utilize the appropriate web services through taking advantage of IoT devices information. The existing service provision environment is focused on the method of selecting the service using the provider service information, thus, it is considered necessary for a user-oriented service search method to be in need. In this study, the service list is provided to the user by combining provider information and information extracted from IoT Devices. IoT information collection generates information by separating context information such as information between IoT devices and users and event information between devices through identifiers. In this paper, we propose a development of a user centric service environment by presenting users with a necessary service list through the proposed IoT information.

  • This study is to develop and provide a personal information protection framework that enables IoT service providers to safely and systematically operate personal information of IoT service subjects in the overall process of providing IoT devices and services. To this end, a framework for personal information framework was derived through literature survey, and FGI with experts, it was divided into three stages, each of three stages: IoT service provision process and IoT personal information processing process. The study conducted an e-mail survey of related experts using AHP techniques to determine the importance of the components of the selected personal information protection framework. As a result, in the IoT service provision process, the IoT product and service design and development stage (0.5413) is the most important, and in the IoT personal information processing process, personal information protection in the collection and retention of personal information (0.5098) is the most important. Therefore, based on this research, as the IoT service is spreading, it is expected that a safe personal information protection framework will be realized by preventing security threats and personal information infringement accidents.

  • With the major advancement of vehicle-related technologies and services, the demands for the in/out-vehicle service expansion increase significantly. The key importance of the service expansion is to provide various vehicle-centric services in addition to improve the convenience and usability of users with connectivity. Recently, Internet of Things (IoT) gains major attention for small device connectivity and service, and it widens its area to other industries including automotive to advance and diversify its services. In this paper, we investigated the technical direction of the IoT service with the analysis of IoT technologies in the perspective of the vehicle. At first, we analyzed the vehicle and IoT services in each so that we are able to suggest the service design guideline and consideration to release integrated services between vehicle and IoT. Also, we reviewed the cases of few vehicle and home IoT integration services for the major insights and future direction of the integration services.

  • Computing Performance, sensor, storage, memory, and network costs have been steadily declining, and IoT services have recently become more active. The Internet of Things is linked with Big Data to create new business, and public institutions and corporations are hurry to import Internet of things. As the importance of the Internet of things has increased, the number of devices supporting the IoT has rapidly increased. With the development of the Internet of Things, various types of Internet services are being developed. For this reason, there is an increasing demand for IoT service designers and developers for IoT service case automatic search technology. IoT service designers can avoid duplication with existing services through service case retrieval and developers can save cost and time by combining existing reusable service equipment. This paper proposes IoT-Lite ontology for IoT and Semantic Web service to solve the above-mentioned problems. The existing ontologies for IoT, despite its many advantages, are not widely used by developers because it has not overcome the relatively slow drawbacks of increasing complexity and searching for development. To complement this, this study uses the IoT-Lite ontology introduced by W3C as a model and a semantic web service for automatic system retrieval. 3D camera, GPS, and 9-axis sensor, and IoT-Lite designed by IoT-Lite technique are integrated with the semantic technique and implemented directly.

  • Web services are standardized software technologies that enable interoperability of operating systems and programming languages through networks and related standards. Web services are distributed computing services that provide and discover services making it possible to access various services. Since the search method of web service considers only the functional aspect, it has a limitation on user-oriented search when selecting a service. In order to solve these problems, this study proposes an automatic IoT information generation tool, and provides IoT extension information when searching a web service, thereby improving the problem so that a suitable service can be selected for a user. Automatic IoT extension information generation tool proposed in this study collects and stores various information generated in the process of sensing, networking, and information processing by collaborating autonomously in a distributed environment of user, object, and service. The proposed method supports the service search suitable for the user by providing the information generated by the user as extended information when searching the web service. The proposed method can be applied to the 4th industry sector to provide a customized service that meets various environment requirements.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is an Infrastructure which allows to connect with each device in physical world through the Internet. Thus IoT enables to provide meahup services or intelligent services to human user using collected data from those devices. Due to these advantages, IoT is used in divers service domains such as traffic, distribution, healthcare, and smart city. However, current IoT provides restricted services because it only supports monitor and control devices according to collected data from the devices. To resolve this problem, we propose a design and implementation of personalized IoT service base on service orchestration. The proposed service allows to discover specific services and then to combine the services according to a user location. To this end, we develop a service ontology to interpret user information according to meanings and smartphone web app to use the IoT service by human user. We also develop a service platform to work with external IoT platform. Finally, to show feasibility, we evaluate the proposed system via study.

  • In this paper, we develop IoT-HiAS(IoT-Human Interactive Advertising Service) for sharing economy. The HiAS device shooting the front of the device via a webcam and recognizes the person in real time through the SSD model using MobileNet. If the number of persons above the set threshold is recognized by counting the recognized person, the advertisement is reproduced on the idle resource through the beam projector. At the same time as the advertisement is reproduced, the captured image of the advertisement start time in the front of the device and the number of recognized persons are sends the IoT server of an oneM2M-compliant HiAS server using the IoT client. When the advertisement is finish, the webcam is shooting the front of the device and the image is sends the IoT server. We implemented the IoT-based human interactive advertising service by transmitting the received data to the advertiser and the advertising producers through the SNS(Social Network Service) agent of the HiAS server.
