  • This paper simulates analog signal processing program by using Matlab GUI which is one of the application parts of Matlab. It is aimed of the embodiment to observe signal acquired by interfacing AD data converted by signal processing program using a simple Data Acquisition Board with computer through the Matlab GUI program and analyze the capability of Matlab CUI and other various signals-harmonic analysis, generating state of interval harmonic, observation of voltage state.

  • An easier implementation method of the field oriented control of induction machine using Matlab/Simulink and dSpace board is proposed in this paper. The total system for the control of induction motor is modeled with the help of Matlab/Simulink. These models consist of induction motor block, SVPWM inverter block and control algorithm block, etc. And this system is simultaneously simulated and experimented in Matlab/Simulink environment with dSpace borad (DS1102). It is possible that Matlab and dSpace board compiler can make $^'{\ast}.c'\;and\;^'{\ast}.obj'$ file of models designed in Matlab/Simulink environment automatically. Both Simulation and experimental results are given.

  • There are many speech analysis tools available. Among them real-time analysis tool is very useful for interactive experiments. A real-time speech analysis tool was implemented using Matlab. Matlab is a very widely used general purpose signal processing tool. In general, its computational speed is relatively lower than that of the codes from conventional programming languages. Especially, real-time analysis including input of signal and output of the result was not possible in the past. However, due to the improvement of computing power of PCs and inclusion of real-time I/O toolboxes in Matlab, real-time analysis is now possible in some extent by Matlab only. In this experiment, we tried to implement a real-time speech analysis tool using Matlab. Pitch and spectral information is computed in real-time. From the result it is shown that such real-time applications can be implemented easily using Matlab.

  • Many statisticians have been using object-oriented languages such as S-PLUS, R, and MATLAB to make programs for new data analysis methods. S-PLUS and R are slower in computation as well as in processing large data sets than MATLAB. Recently MATLAB is often used for developing statistical analysis programs owing to its fast computing ability and abundant mathematical algorithm modules. Sometimes it is hard for non-statistician to understand MATLAB programs which are developed by statisticians. Therefore Graphical User Interface(GUI) is needed to facilitate the usage of MATLAB codes. In this paper, we introduce how to develop a GUI for MATLAB codes which is executable on Windows with examples.

  • This research is about the studies of ocean wave and realization of ocean wave surface utilizing the Matlab as development tool. In this paper, the related background theory about ocean wave and sea-surface wave had been discussed. In addition, the three-dimensional and two-dimensional sea wave and sea-surface also been realized and simulated by using Matlab.

  • This study uses MATLAB as a programming tool and applies the bootstrap method to process capability analysis. The advantage of using MATLAB in bootstrap method is to make the bootstrap method much easier to implement and apply particularly in process capability analysis. An example is provided to further illustrate the easy use of MATLAB in bootstrap method.

  • Due to the development of mobile computing and wearable technology, various wearable devices for measuring bio-signals in everyday life have been developed and popularized, and healthcare services utilizing bio-signals are attracting attention. In recent years, healthcare services have been developed and studied using various bio-signal analysis tools. Most bio-signal analysis studies utilize Matlab. However, in order to apply the algorithm developed in Matlab to the system, it is necessary to convert the source. We want to provide a smart interface that can skip source conversion. In this paper, we develop an interface to run the source file itself in the system by omitting the conversion technique for applying the algorithm developed in Matlab to the system.

  • In our new learning environment, we were asked to change our teaching method in our Linear Algebra class. In mathematics class, we could use several math-softwares such as MATHEMATICA, MATLAB, MAPLE, Drive etc.. MATLAB was quite well fit with our Linear Algebra class. In this paper we introduce an efficient way of delivery on important concepts in linear algebra by using well-known MATLAB/ATLAST M-files which we downloded from http://www.umassd.edu/specialprograms/atlast/.
