Implementation of curved type a metallic plate system at the Bone contact (골 접촉 곡선형 금속 고정 시스템 구현)

  • This study was developed the metallic plate for fixation in the femur fracture for the orthopedic region and rigid fixation with plates has a firm place in fracture treatment. Most plates can be used for rigid as well as biological and dynamical fracture fixation. The device's designation and sizing has a specific with bending structural stiffness and strength, known meaning that is reliable regardless of the plate by the short type and long type. Short plate have a wrapping of femur and long plate have to preserve a pole of femur. The bending strength of the curved metallic long plate has to evaluate a 11,000N and The bending strength of the curved metallic short plate has to evaluate a 6,525N. The tensile stress through to press a plate is $1573N/m^2\;and\;1539N/m^2$. The device can be used to support Revision case of Hip Implant and to use a case of Hip screw compression of Hip Neck Fracture.

The Refractive Index Change for Tinted Time of CR-39 Lens (CR-39 렌즈 착색시간에 따른 굴절률(n) 변화)

  • We calculated a refractive index of the lens surface by measuring a spectral reflectance for a tinted time on manufacturing of the color lens. The longer a tinted time, the larger a reflectance and reflective index. The refractive index increased for a time up to the colorant's saturation state on the lens surface. The refractive index's change curve of blue color lens for a time depended on the Boltzmann growth curve. then we obtained the parameter's values of $n_{min}=1.482$, $n_{max}=1.497$, $t_c=11.53$ and $d_0=2.287$.

  • 자동차용 변속기의 설계에 있어서 적용 Engine의 출력 및 차량 성능에 부합하는 동력전달 요소의 전달 용량 및 내구 수명을 고려해야 한다. 특히 자동차가 고속 경량화됨에 따라 변속기의 설계에 있어서도 동력전달 요소들의 소형 고용량화가 요구되며 이를 위해서는 설계시 동력전달 요소들의 정확한 강도 및 피로수명 예측이 필수적이다. 본 보고서에서는 Gear의 굽힘응력 계산식에 대한 고찰 및 Gear의 피로시험을 통하여 Helical 치차의 Bending stress에 대한 피로수명 곡선의 시험식을 도출하였다.

  • The suction of unsaturated soil is one of the important variables to influence on volume change behavior. This research was performed to analyze the soil-water characteristic of decomposed granite soils in Chung Cheong area, and showed relationship with grain-size distribution. Empirical parameters a, n, m are main variables that can be used in the empirical equations in order to predict unsaturated soil. Decomposed granite soils is taken at 12 field, and redistributed due to a, n, m parameters. The result of Extractor test is showed that matric suction is effected by the grain-size distribution curve's left-right location, degree of an angle and fine contents of a soil.

Fast Factorization Methods based on Elliptic Curves over Finite Fields (유한체위에서의 타원곡선을 이용한 고속 소인수분해법에 관한 연구)

  • Since the security of RSA cryptosystem depends on the difficulty of factoring integers, it is the most important problem to factor large integers in RSA cryptosystem. The Lenstra elliptic curve factorization method(ECM) is considered a special purpose factoring algorithm as it is still the best algorithm for divisors not greatly exceeding 20 to 25 digits(64 to 83 bits or so). ECM, however, wastes most time to calculate $M{\cdot}P$ mod N and so Montgomery and Koyama both give fast methods for implementing $M{\cdot}P$ mod N. We, in this paper, further analyze Montgomery and Koyama's methods and propose an efficient algorithm which choose the optimal parameters and reduces the number of multiplications of Montgomery and Koyama's methods. Consequently, the run time of our algorithm is reduced by 20% or so than that of Montgomery and Koyama's methods.

Age-Crime Curve in Korea (한국의 연령-범죄곡선)

  • This is a study on age-crime curve in Korea. Three data was used in this study as following: First is the crime statistics as aggregated data. Second is the police record(N=3.541 offences) of the male ex-offenders(N=988) who have been released in eleven prisons in 1987 as individual data. Third is the self-reported group-interview data(N=10.198 offences) administered to the male prisoners(N=979) in ten correctional facilities including eight adult prisons, one juvenile prison and one juvenile training center as another individual data. Generally, the right-skewness of age-crime curve has been explained through the difference of crime rate between early starters and late starters. Moffitt explains that this is because of the higher participation rate of the juvenile period of adolescence-limited offenders, but Godttfredson and Hirschi explain that this is because of a similar distribution in the crime rate of both early starters and late starters. the analysis of this study shows that Godttfredson and Hirschi’s explanation on the generality of age-crime-curve distribution is correct, but this can be modified by various factors like a economic crisis. And the peak age of juvenile period is consistent with the Moffitt’s hypothesis that the peak age is contributed to the increase of crime rate of late starters, not with Godttfredson and Hirschi’s one.

Adsorption and Biological Properties of Ni-treated PAN Based Activated Carbon Fiber (Ni가 처리된 PAN계 활성탄소섬유의 흡착특성과 생물학적 특성)

  • The study on the adsorption, the surface properties and the antibacterial effects of the Ni-treated PAN based activated carbon fibers was carried out. In the adsorption study on the Ni-treated PAN based ACFs, Type I isotherms for N1-N3 and Type II-Type III isotherms for N4-N6 were obtained, respectively. Futhermore, their adsorbed volumes slowly were decreased with the increase in the mole concentration of Ni on the treated PAN based ACFs. From the BET equation, the specific surface areas of the Ni-treated PAN based ACFs were in the range of $692.58-895.24m^2/g$. The micropore volumes obtained from ${\alpha}_s$-method using common-t value were $0.19-0.56cm^3/g$. The surfaces of PAN based ACFs partially blocked by metal after the treatment were observed from the SEM micrographs. Finally, from the antibacterial effects using Shake flask method against E. coli, the percentage of the effects was 92.5-100% and the antibacterial effect was increased with the increase in mole concentration of Ni treated.

A Combined Random Scalar Multiplication Algorithm Resistant to Power Analysis on Elliptic Curves (전력분석 공격에 대응하는 타원곡선 상의 결합 난수 스칼라 곱셈 알고리즘)

  • The elliptic curve crypto-algorithm is widely used in authentication for IoT environment, since it has small key size and low communication overhead compare to the RSA public key algorithm. If the scalar multiplication, a core operation of the elliptic curve crypto-algorithm, is not implemented securely, attackers can find the secret key to use simple power analysis or differential power analysis. In this paper, an elliptic curve scalar multiplication algorithm using a randomized scalar and an elliptic curve point blinding is suggested. It is resistant to power analysis but does not significantly reduce efficiency. Given a random r and an elliptic curve random point R, the elliptic scalar multiplication kP = u(P+R)-vR is calculated by using the regular variant Shamir's double ladder algorithm, where l+20-bit u≡rn+k(modn) and v≡rn-k(modn) using 2lP=∓cP for the case of the order n=2l±c.

Fatigue Behavior of Large Stud Shear Connectors (대직경 스터드 전단연결재의 피로거동)

  • Stud shear connectors are the most commonly used shear connectors: up to 22mm studs are usually used in steel-concrete composite structures. To expand the current design codes for stud connectors, large studs with a diameter of more than 25mm should be investigated. Through push-out tests on large stud shear connectors that transcend the limitation of current design codes, fatigue behavior was investigated and comparisons with design equations performed. The shear stiffness of the connectors in elastic range was evaluated through shear tests on 25mm, 27mm, and 30mm studs and compared with those from static tests. The fatigue behavior of large studs was discussed in terms of residual slip and load-slip curves. The initiation of fatigue cracks in the welding part could be detected through the history of displacement range. Test results showed that the design fatigue endurance of S-N curves in current design codes could be applied to large stud shear connector.
