친환경 요소로서의 경관과 그에 어울리는 소리의 선택 (The Selection of the Scenery and Sound as the Environmental Friendly Elements)

  • In this research, how the evaluation of the spacial image influenced by the environmental friendly elements included in the visual information, and how the selection of the sound changed depending on the characteristics of spatial image by the 40 subjects were carried out. Vast tracts of green land and the waterfront were highly preferred and impressive than the other spaces. The green music, signal with water sound and bird chirping sound were highly scored. In the frequency characteristics of the factors, the first factor was artificial sound(high at the low frequency band), the second was natural sound(uniform at all frequency band) and the third was water sound(high at the middle and high frequency band over 500Hz). This shows that the proposal of the sound which has the frequency characteristics fit to the spacial image should be selected for the soundscape of the target space.

균열을 갖는 직사각형 진동평판의 음향 방사특성 (Sound Radiation Characteristics of Cracked Rectangular Vibrating Plates)

  • This paper considers the sound radiation characteristics of a craked rectangular vibrating plate, varying the orientation angle of a line crack. The vibration response of the cracked vibrating plate is obtained by using ANSYS, the acoustic theory based on the lumped parameter model is used to calculate radiated sound power. The radiated sound powers are computed with varying the orientation angle of the crack: i.e, 0$^{\circ}$, 45$^{\circ}$, and 90$^{\circ}$. It is found that characteristics of the radiated sound power are very closely related to the crack orientation, vibration mode and crack location.

  • We study the characteristics of airflow and sound noise induced by disk rotation in optical disk drives. The characteristics of airflow around a rotating disk surrounded by various tray structures are numerically investigated using a commercial CFD program and then compared with experimental results. Sound pressure and intensity caused by the fluid-structure interactions in the CD/DVD-ROM drive are measured, and the effect of the ariflow on the sound noise and disk vibration is discussed. In order to reduce airflow-induced noise and vibration around the rotating disk, tray geometry is modified. Both numerical and experimental studies implemented with different tray models show that the improved tray model alters the characteristics of the disk-induced airflow, causing the reduction of the airflow-induced sound level.

자성유체 스피커의 음질 성능 및 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study of the sound quality performance and improvement of magnetic fluid speaker)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자성유체 스피커의 보이스 코일 방열 및 음질 저하 문제를 극복하기 위하여 무향실내에서 자성유체 스피커의 음 왜곡률, 음압레벨 및 주파수 특성과 같은 음질 성능 특성을 고찰하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 자성유체 스피커에서 자성유체 주입량 및 영구자석 자력을 변화시켜가면서 음압 성능을 측정하였다. 그리고 스피커의 음 왜곡률, 음압레벨 및 주파수 특성은 음향시스템 측정 프로그램인 Smarrt를 이용하여 측정하였다. 결과적으로, 자성유체의 주입량은 2.4 ml로 결정되었고, 자성유체를 주입할 경우 음 왜곡률 및 음압레벨은 향상되었다. 자성유체 스피커에서 영구자석의 자력을 8.06 mT에서 9.10 mT로 증가시킬 경우 주파수 특성 및 음압레벨은 더욱 향상되었다. 또한, 자성유체 스피커의 음 왜곡률은 일반 스피커에 비하여 약 0.01% 감소하였다.

  • Sound intensity method is well known as a visualization technique of sound field or sound propagation in noise control. Sound intensity or energy flux is a vector quantity which describes the amount and the direction of net flow of acoustic energy at a given position. Especially two dimensional sound intensity method is very useful in evaluating periodic characteristics and acoustic propagation mode of noise source. In this paper, we have studied the noise source Identification, acoustic sound field analysis, and characteristics of noise source of rotary compressor and scroll compressor for air conditioner using complex sound intensity method. Also we proposed a now method of time domain analysis which is used in evaluating of position of noise source in rotary and scroll compressor in this paper This paper presents the advantage, simplicity and economical efficiency of this method by analysing the characteristics of noise source with two dimensional complex sound intensity simultaneously.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 자동차오디오에서 재생된 음향의 음질에 대한 청취자의 주관적인 선호도를 객관화된 설문 등을 통하여 측정하고 그 결과를 통계적으로 분석하여 일반화시키는 것이다. 직교배열법을 사용하여 여덟 가지 음향특성들의 조합으로 이루어진 음향 환경을 객관적으로 재현하였으며, SD 7점 척도를 사용하여 청취자의 주관적 음질 선호도를 객관화시켰다. 재생된 음향의 음질에 대한 여러 청취자들의 선호도를 다변량 분산분석법을 이용하여 분석한 후, 일반적으로 전체 음질의 선호도를 결정짓는 음향특성을 찾아냈으며, 각각의 음질 선호도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 개별 음향 특성을 찾아내었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the significant sound quality metric and compose the sound quality index of motor driven roller blind which is part of vehicle sunroof. Before subjective evaluation, sound characteristics of roller blind was analyzed and set the target operating sound for subjective evaluation. Thus, transfer sound of roller blind which has the characteristics of sound modulation was used for subjective evaluation. Linear regression was carried out by chosen Zwicker's metrics which are pointed by comments of jurors. Loudness and sharpness related metrics are prime metrics in sound quality index we composed. Effect of roller blind assay when it is attached to real vehicle was identified to evaluate the validity of index.

국악기 피리의 소리합성을 위한 음색분석 연구 (A Study on the Spectrum Analysis for the Sound Synthesis of Piri)

  • 본 연구는 국악기 피리의 소리합성을 위한 기초 단계로, 피리의 음색 특징을 분석하였다 분석은 세 가지로 나누어 첫째, 피리의 음색 특징을 스펙트럼 분석을 통하여 오보에와 비교하였고, 둘째, 피리 소리들의 어택(attack)부분의 시간대별 분석을 통하여 소리 발생과정에 따른 음색을 분석하였으며, 마지막으로 악기연주의 중요한 역할을 하는 비브라토의 특성을 분석해 보았다. 그 결과 피리 음색은 서양악기와 달리 높은 배음들의 음량이 높게 나타났고, 소리발생 초기단계(어택 부분)에서는 노이즈 양이 급격히 줄어드는 것과 반하여 배음들의 음량 값이 높아졌으며, 비브라토에서도 음량위주로 변화하는 서양악기와 달리 음고와 음량이 동시에 변화한다는 특성을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 배음에 따른 음색 특징과 소리 발생과정에서의 음색변화, 그리고 비브라토에서의 음고와 음량 변화는 피리의 독특한 음색을 잘 나타내 주는 특징들로써 소리합성에 있어서 반드시 적용되어져야 할 것이다.
