  • Recent years have seen a significant increase in demand for multimedia data over wireless sensor networks for monitoring applications that utilize sensor nodes to collect multimedia data, including sound and video. However, the multimedia streams generate a very large amount of data. When data transmission schemes for traditional wireless sensor networks are applied in wireless multimedia sensor networks, the network lifetime significantly decreases due to the excessive energy consumption of specific nodes. In this paper, we propose a data compression scheme that implements the Chinese remainder theorem to a wireless multimedia sensor network. The proposed scheme uses the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) to compress and split multimedia data, and it then transmits the bit-pattern packets of the remainder to the base station. As a result, the amount of multimedia data that is transmitted is reduced. The superiority of our proposed scheme is demonstrated by comparing its performance to that of an existing scheme. The results of our experiment indicate that our proposed scheme significantly increased the compression ratio and reduced the compression operation in comparison to those of existing compression schemes.

And introduce wireless communication technology analytically that it use for Home-LAN communication technology (HomeRF, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11, HIPERLAN, etc). Home-LAN communications issue by the terminal field of the latest high-speed network construction. This technologies possesses characteristics and significances as the representative technology using in Home-LAN communication technology. Also, the method of application is conditional on individually. Wireless LAN put Home-LAN communications to practical use. Bluetooth have practical use for an individual mobile communications with internet. HomeRF have a vision that the construction of wireless system in house purely. Therefore, this dissertation investigates merits and demerits between those technologies. And then leads the most compatible technology for application of Home-LAN. Finally, this thesis have a view of the development course hereafter.

  • Recently, water sewage disposal facilities are able to manage real-time data collection and record management through compact broadband modem LAN switching technology. Therefore, it needs more stable and efficient facility management. So, we required practical use of environmental facilities convergence based on broadband integrated modem. In this paper, we proposed short distance wireless communication network of compact broadband modem for sewage disposal facilities. And it received data inside of water treatment facility using the two communication methods (IEEE802.11x and IEEE802.15.4x). Then, our proposed an data-flow control algorithm of wireless network technology will prioritize processing data when emergency happen through collecting data, analysis data and processing. Lastly, we proved usefulness by experiment and simulation analysis.

  • This paper proposes a dual addressing scheme (DAS) for IPv6 over IEEE 802.15.4 wireless sensor networks (WSN). DAS combines a global unicast address to cope with association link changes and node mobility, and it links local addresses to lighten the overhead of the system to save energy and resources. This paper describes DAS address formats, address autoconfiguration, and address translation tables in the gateway. A detailed description of DAS is provided through examples. Simulations are performed to demonstrate the performance improvements of the DAS compared with the IPv6-based WSN, which uses the conventional single address.

  • The container terminals use convergence technology that exchange information for cargo work, using wireless communication between the TOS(Terminal Operations System) and the handling equipments(CC, TC, YT). But if the container cargoes pile up high in the container yard, delayed cargo work and cargo working list information error happen because of communication dead spots(the worker can not receive the information) which wireless communication is disconnected. At this time the driver of the yard tractor(YT) must be able to recognize the communication state. If then, delayed cargo work and cargo working list information errors that occur in the shaded communication area can be avoided, and can process the delayed work due to wireless communication break. In this project, we have built wireless communication environment to increase the efficiency of the loading and unloading operations which the operator can respond actively, when the work is delayed and work orders result in errors. That is, the flow of the wireless communication module has been changed.

  • There are various 'wireless communication technologies' around us. Wireless mobile communication has evolved through various stages, and its utilization is also diverse. However, due to the development of wireless communication technology, the demand for frequency resources is much higher than the supply, so frequency shortage is serious. Recently, 'visible light communication' has been attracting attention as an emerging communication technology that can solve the frequency shortage. 'Visible light communication' is a communication method based on serial data transmission / reception, and there is a difficulty in transmitting / receiving parallel data because the transmitter and the receiver are arbitrarily present. In this paper, we have studied parallel data processing of visible light communication. We could solve the problem by analyzing parallel data using image processing. Through this study, communication performance can be verified through I / O data comparison by implementing parallel data analysis method. It is expected that diversity in parallel data analysis will be presented through the results.

  • This paper proposes a distributed borrowing addressing (DIBA) scheme to solve problems of failure in address assignments resulting from limited tree depth and width when the distributed address assignment mechanism is used in a ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 wireless sensor network. DIBA is a method of borrowing addresses from neighbor nodes for newly entering nodes and assigning the borrowed addresses. Its network or sensing coverage can increase with almost the same overhead as the existing method. DIBA is a simple and lightweight means of addressing and routing, making it suitable for wireless sensor networks. Simulations showed that DIBA is a distributed addressing scheme with consistently excellent performance.

  • Wireless sensor networks represent a new and exciting communication paradigm which could have multiple applications in future wireless communication. Therefore, performance analysis of such a wireless sensor network paradigm is needed in complex wireless channel. Wireless networks could be an important means of providing ubiquitous communication in the future. In this paper, the BER performance of uniform distributed wireless sensor networks is evaluated in non-Gaussian noise channel. Using an analytical approach, the impact of Av. BER performance relating the coherent BPSK system at the end of a multi-hop route versus the spatial density of sensor nodes and impulsive noise parameters A and $\Gamma$ is evaluated.
