  • The activities of the antioxidative enzymes in the roots of Codonopsis lanceolata have been compared depending on the cultivated environments - wildness, cultivate paddy fields and cultivate dry fields - and the parts of the root. In the Codonopsis lanceolata raised in cultivate paddy fields, the activity of SOD was higher in 2 yrs old than 1 yr old, but the activity in 1 yr old was higher than in 2 yrs old for the plants raised in the cultivate dry fields. The specific activity of SOD in wildness plants 86.069unit/mg protein was the highest among plants studied. The tissue distribution of the SOD activity showed differences depending on the enviroment. The highest activity of SOD was shown in the upper part of the root for the cultivate paddy fields, the loewr parts for the cultivate dry fields and middle parts for the wildness. The specific activity of POD was increased with ages of the plants, and that in the wildness was the highest 68 unit/mg protein among the plants studied. The activity of POD in the parts of the roots was shown as middle>lower>upper. The activity of POD in the middle part of the root, rasied in Soebick province was 85 unit/mg protein. The specific activity of CAT was decreased with ages of the plants. The activities of wildness and cultivate paddy fields was similar, but that in cultivate dry fields was lower than others. The tissue distribution in the parts of the roots was upper>lower>middle. The activity of CAT middle part of rasied in the Sebuck area was 5.359 unit/mg protein. The activities antioxidative in the cells cultured in MSID(Murashige and Skoog +2.4-D 1mg/$\iota$) was followings: 1564 for CAT. 30 for POD and 22200 unit/mg protein for SOD. These figures were lower than that in in vivo.

  • After the fourth industrial revolution came along, SW education to improve creativity and problem-solving ability began in elementary, middle, and high schools first and then in universities as well positively; however, research on the curriculum or what it has to pursue is not yet enough. Here, this study will investigate the current status of SW education provided in software-oriented schools operated in universities and also given as cultural studies in general universities and examines the curriculum or the standard plan for education. In most schools, it is operated as similar subject names, and diverse methods are tried on- and off-line to cultivate computing thinking skills. Also, to study SW education programs that can be operated in the general cultural courses of universities and find out how to utilize them, this author suggests the goal setting, educational contents, and teaching methods for SW education. As follow-up tasks, it will be needed to apply the suggested programs to the field and find out new evaluation methods in order to cultivate creative and convergent persons of ability.

  • There is currently a growing need to nurture creative and convergent talent in the face of the fourth Industrial Revolution. Developing such talent requires interdisciplinary convergent education across the science, engineering, humanities, social studies, and arts disciplines. Such interdisciplinary convergence could cultivate humanities and social knowledge and qualities along with scientific expertise. In Korea, there are currently six science schools for the gifted that aim to discover and nurture science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) researchers from an early stage, and two science and art schools for the gifted that aim to cultivate new talent combining students' scientific and artistic qualities. These schools establish and follow curriculums that are suited to achieving the education objectives guaranteed by the Gifted Education Promotion Act and its Enforcement Decrees. This study compares the curriculums and curriculum tables of the science schools for the gifted to those of the science and art schools for the gifted to evaluate their methods of operation and performance. Additionally, it determines which curriculums provide an opportunity for students to nurture convergent thinking, and discusses how suitable curriculums could be implemented to develop convergent thinking.

  • In around of Guryongpo Pohang Port, a Guamegi production special zone is being established as modernized processing plants, cold storages, Guamegi research centers, or publicity centers are being built in a row with forming the tourism and culture streets as a start. Regarding the special Guamegi production zone, the local autonomous entities are promoting various projects as investing approximately 40 billion won as its budget; however, it is still very rare to elevate the level of Guamegi, the special product, and make investment plans to create a brand for it. To make a special product brand cannot be realized just by building the Guamegi industrialization processing complex, and mere publicity also does not guarantee sustainable development. It can be realized only when the product's taste or hygiene satisfies the people's needs. Therefore, this study examines the changes of Guamegi-related business and the strategies to develop Guamegi industry in order to find ways to manufacture Guamegi and cultivate specialized manpower for processing to make a special brand with Guamegi. Regarding the Guamegi business and the cultivation of specialized manpower for Guamegi, this study conducted a survey to 377 persons including the business owners, employees, or civil servants related with Guamegi. It is needed to install educational institutions to cultivate specialized manpower for Guamegi and also operate various programs so as to conduct education to cultivate specialized manpower for Guamegi. And it is necessary to elevate the quality and sanitation of Guamegi and create a brand by inducing a specialized license system that can help those involved in Guamegi business have pride.

  • Reading education is very important in order to promote the refinement, cultivate the emotion and complete the character to the secondary school students. This thesis deals with the establishment of reading education as a formal course in secondary schools, responsibility of teaching and problems related to recommended reading lists. Reading education must separate from the national language education because of literature centered education in reading education. If reading education was separated from the national language education, students can a n.0, pproach to the other cultural boundary besides other own and exchange their information and ideas. So, reading education must be included to the elective subjects in a independent course or become a compulsory subject in secondary school curriculum. The teacher of reading education must become the teacher librarian who has a firm faith and an intellectual accomplishment. But, teacher-librarian has much disadvantages such as the problems of promotion, the division of qualification between elementary school and secondary school, and a short-term training courses for teacher-librarian. Hence, theses problems music be solved in national administrative level. Recommended reading lists must be provided to the student in order to prevent confusion of the sense of value, to estimate their own reading ability by themselves and to establish life long reading plan. Therefore, both Korean Library Association and the Ministry of Education should re-examine and develop recommended reading lists. Finally, problems of a juvenile delinquency in the post industrial society have to be solved through reading education. To solve the juvenile delinquency problems, adolescents should cultivate their moral character and possesses abundant knowledge through reading education.
